2018 Billecart-Salmon 250th Anniversary Vintage Champagne
Review Date: 06-03-2026
The perfect wine to celebrate America's 250th anniversary. Billecart Salmon is one of my favorite houses, so it's no surprise that their 2018 vintage is out of this world. On the palate, this wine has notes of brioche, red apple, citrus, and white flowers, with a touch of salinity and refreshing minerality.

2018 Fallet-Dart Extra Brut Champagne
Review Date: 06-03-2026
This champagne is all estate-grown fruit, mostly Chardonnay with a small portion of Pinot Noir, and entirely from the 2018 vintage; the perfect combination in my opinion! Pear, apple, white peach, brioche, and almonds dominate the palate on this wine, with crisp minerality that makes this champagne super refreshing. Buy this wine while you still can!

Fallet-Dart "Heres" Brut Champagne
Review Date: 06-03-2026
Bottled in 2019, but with a base vintage of 2018, Fallet Dart's "Heres" is an awesome champagne, especially for its price. The Fallet Dart family has been growing grapes in Champagne since the 1600s and you can taste the years of experience in this wine. On the palate, this champagne is light with perfect minerality, offering notes of tart green apple, grapefruit, lemon juice, and plum.

2017 Boulard-Bauquaire "Les Fervins" Verzenay Grand Cru Brut Champagne
Review Date: 06-03-2026
The perfect gift for lovers of grower champagne, and not just because of the awesome packaging. 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Champagne and a single vintage from a single vineyard, this wine is fantastic. On the palate, this wine has notes of lime zest, lemon juice, red apple, and toasted hazelnuts, wrapped up with a long, chalky finish.

Boulard-Bauquaire "Carte Noire" Brut Blanc de Noirs Champagne
Review Date: 06-03-2026
50% Pinot Noir and 50% Pinot Meunier, this is one of the finest examples of Blanc de Noirs on our shelves. On the palate, this champagne has notes of blood orange, raspberry, red apple, lemons, and almonds, with great acidity and an apple driven finish. The first wine I would point out to a customer inquiring about Blanc de Noirs, especially at this awesome price point.

Boulard-Bauquaire "Trepail" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne Vieilles Vignes
Review Date: 06-03-2026
A super fun Blanc de Blancs from a single vineyard full of 75+ year old vines. On the palate, this champagne has the depth one would expect from very old vines, with notes of orchard fruit, croissant, lemon zest, and fresh cream, wrapped up with chalky acidity and a touch of honey. The perfect champagne for fans of "old vine" wines.

Jean-Jacques Lamoureux "Cuvée Gabin" Brut Zero Champagne
Review Date: 06-03-2026
My personal favorite Brut Zero/Nature. 100% Pinot Noir, this champagne offers notes of green apple, lime zest and underripe pear, with a dry finish and a clear line of acidity throughout. A great small production apertif champagne for those looking for zero dosage.

2017 Franck Bonville "Belles Voyes" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne

Single vineyard, single vintage champagne from one of my favorite champagne houses; this is one of the best champagne's I've ever had. Franck Bonville Unisson Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Champagne
Review Date: 06-03-2026
"Unisson" is one of my favorite champagnes from Franck Bonville, 100% Blanc de Blancs primarily from the village of Avize. Medium-bodied and complex, this champagne has notes of orchard fruits, pastry bread, sweet citrus, and hazelnuts on the palate, tied together with the perfect amount of minerality. Perfect for those looking for a complex Blanc de Blancs at a great price.

Maison 76 Côte des Blancs Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Champagne

I'm a massive fan of this champagne. Crafted by Olivier Bonville and hand-selected by Gary Westby, this Blanc de Blancs champagne is zippy and bright, with notes of apple, pear, honey and a hint of brioche. I'd pay double for this wine, the perfect champagne for any occasion.

2019 Fallet-Dart "Pur Meunier" Champagne
Review Date: 06-03-2026
I don't always like champagne made from 100% Meunier, but I truly enjoyed "Pur Meunier" from Fallet Dart. A rich wine full of acidity, this champagne has notes of orchard fruit, lime zest, and a distinct nutty flavor, complemented by a hint of smoke. A must-buy for Meunier lovers.

2023 Ernest Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Review Date: 05-22-2026
While the last few Ernest releases have been spectacular, this Sonoma Coast Chardonnay takes it up a notch. Elegant and racy, this wine has notes of lemon zest, crunchy green apple, orange peel, and honeysuckle on the palate with a long, mineral-driven finish. An exceptional white wine for summer, I believe this Chardonnay is the best of the Ernest wines.

Scarlet K&L Exclusive "Fernet Cask Marriage Peated Cask #21" Japanese Amaro (700ml)
Review Date: 05-07-2026
Make no mistake, Scarlet's standard Fernet is fantastic, but this barrel selection is on a whole different level. This K&L Exclusive Amaro immediately hits you on the palate with notes of fresh mint, sugar, vanilla, herbs, and licorice, tied up with a salty, slightly bitter finish. The Laphroaig cask adds the aforementioned salty note along with a subtle smoky note that balances this smooth amaro perfectly. Only a small quantity made, buy while you have the chance!

Coastal California Chardonnay at its finest. This wine is lean and crisp with incredible acidity and notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, and lime on the palate, tied together with salinity that brings to mind how closely these grapes were grown to the ocean. An absolute steal under $30 dollars.

What a steal, 5 dollars per year of age on Premier Cru Chablis! This wine is worth every penny, a crisp, complex expression of a prized appellation. On the palate, this wine is bursting with minerality, with notes of apple, pear, and lemon zest, complemented with salinity and a touch of honey. 2013 Chablis is drinking beautifully right now, and this is certainly among the best options on the market.

2024 Laberinto "Cenizas" Sauvignon Blanc Valle de Maule
Review Date: 04-15-2026
Laberinto's Sauvignon Blanc has just become my go-to white wine. Perfect for warmer weather, this complex Sauvignon Blanc is so clean and crisp, it invokes the taste of biting into a tart green apple. More than green apple, this wine also has notes of citrus and sea salt, paired with a flint minerality that drives home this wine's long finish. The perfect wine to drink in the sunshine.

2021 Mayacamas Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon
Review Date: 03-08-2026
The 2021 Mt. Veeder Cab is yet another incredible wine from the folks at Mayacamas. Well worth its price tag, this wine is extraordinary, showing incredible depth, beautiful tannins, and notes of ripe dark fruit, iron, cedar, and espresso, balanced out with the perfect level of acidity. Amazing today, but this wine will age beautifully over the next 10-15 years.

2024 Anonymous Wine Collective Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Another incredible Pinot from the Anonymous Wine Collective, this wine retails for $100 under its producer's label and it's evident. This Sonoma Coast Pinot is light bodied and smooth, with notes of cherry, raspberry, blackberry, and a hint of oak on the palate. An elegant Pinot at a steep discount.

Willett Family Estate 4 Year Old Small Batch Cask Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Review Date: 02-14-2026
If you enjoy the older purple top bourbons Willett has to offer, you'll surely enjoy their brand new four year offering. Built from two classic rye-heavy Willett mash bills, this bourbon is smooth and bright, offering notes of oak, honey, and rye spice. One of my favorite new bourbons, versatile enough to be enjoyed neat, with a little bit of ice, or mixed into a cocktail.

2022 Gemstone "Facets" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Review Date: 02-12-2026
An outstanding Napa Cab at a wonderful price. Polished velvety tannins stand out most, but the palate is fantastic as well, fruit forward with secondary notes of dark chocolate and oak. "Facets" is drinking great now, but don't hesitate to cellar this wine, it's got the structure to age beautifully. Buy immediately.

Laurent-Perrier "Cuvée Rosé" Brut Rosé Champagne
Review Date: 02-04-2026
Laurent Perrier is one of my favorite houses in Champagne, and I found their Rose to be a true delight. One of my favorites in Rose champagne, buy for any occasion.

Fallet-Dart "Clos du Mont" Brut Champagne (2006)
Review Date: 02-04-2026
"Clos du Mont" from Fallet Dart has aged beautifully over the past twenty years. As rich and complex as you'd expect champagne from the 2006 vintage, this wine has notes of lemon, ginger, toast, honey, and stone fruit, with a long, fresh finish. This is the perfect champagne to pair with food, but it's fantastic on its own. Buy while we have it.

Damien Hugot "Hommage 1921" Extra Brut Champagne
Review Date: 02-04-2026
I'm not the biggest fan of Extra Brut champagne, but I have yet to find an Extra Brut from Damien Hugot I dislike, and "Homage 1921" is yet another example of this trend. Rich and expressive, this wine has bready notes on the nose, followed by notes of orchard fruit and citrus on the palate mixed with a beautiful creamy texture. A crisp. clean champagne with the complexity one would expect from oak cask fermentation. Buy before it's gone.

Damien Hugot Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru
Review Date: 02-04-2026
While all of Damien Hugot's wine are fantastic, the Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is a clear favorite for me. Coming from two Grand Cru vineyards, this mineral-driven champagne is complex and crisp, with notes of brioche, citrus, and stone fruits on the palate and a long, dry finish. For $50, this wine represents some of the best value in Extra Brut champagne, a truly delicious champagne at a killer price.

2022 Château de Beauregard Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru "Les Menetrieres"
Review Date: 02-03-2026
If you're looking for a white burgundy to pair with poultry or fish, look no further than Chateau de Beauregard's Pouilly Fuisse "Les Menetrieres". Rich and complex, this wine has notes of orchard fruits (predominately apple and pear), lemon curd, and a hint of spice. The clay and limestone this wine is grown in give it a nice minerality that, balanced with a touch of oak, give this Burgundy impressive depth.

2022 Domaine Durieu "Lucile Avril" Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Review Date: 02-03-2026
I find Domaine Durieu's 2022 "Lucile Avril" to be truly spectacular, even as someone who doesn't typically enjoy Rhone Valley wines. "Lucile Avril" is one of the most balanced, smooth wines I've ever had, medium to full bodied with notes of herbs, cherry, and raspberry on the palate. Velvety tannins and a long, clean finish really drive home this exceptional wine. If you're looking for an amazing Chateauneuf-du-Pape, look no further than the 2022 "Lucile Avril".

Larceny 7 Year Old "Sylvia Suffers No Fools" K&L Exclusive Private Single Barrel #7757818 Cask Strength Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon (750ml ships as a 1.5L)
Review Date: 01-23-2026
As far as I'm concerned, this 7-year, 129 proof hand-selected barrel from Heaven Hill is among the best wheated bourbons on the market, even in a world full of ultra-rare, highly allocated bottles. On the palate, you get sweet notes led by butterscotch, vanilla cream, and toffee, complimented by hints of brioche, cedar, and oak. A long, smooth finish wrap up this bold bourbon, one I'd recommend to newcomers and experienced bourbon drinkers alike.
