2019 Fallet-Dart "Pur Meunier" Champagne
Review Date: 02-04-2026
The 2019 Fallet Dart Pur Meunier is a textbook example of why Meunier deserves attention, focused, expressive, and beautifully balanced. Fresh pear and orchard apple lead, with chalky minerality and a clean, energetic finish. The mousse is refined, the fruit precise, and the style quietly confident. At $69.99, it’s a smart buy if you want real grower Champagne without the hype.

2024 Domaine d'Abrigeon "Coquelicot" Grenache Vin de France Rouge
Review Date: 01-29-2026
This is exactly the kind of bottle I love to recommend from the shop floor. The 2024 Domaine d’Abrigéon “Coquelicot” Grenache is an organic, thoughtfully made Vin de France that truly overdelivers at $19.99. It’s pure, juicy Grenache, driven by fresh raspberry fruit and a soft cinnamon note that adds warmth and lift without distracting from the wine’s natural freshness. Bright, honest, and incredibly drinkable, it still shows real intention and care in the winemaking. A genuine smart buy, this wine is wonderfully versatile at the table and equally enjoyable for everyday drinkers and seasoned wine lovers alike.

2023 Domaine Cécile Chassagne Gigondas
Review Date: 01-29-2026
Domaine Cécile Chassange Gigondas feels honest and true to place, offering classic southern Rhône character without excess. Aromas of fresh rosemary, garrigue, and ripe raspberry rise naturally from the glass, followed by a bright, energetic palate that balances juicy red fruit with savory herbal depth. There’s a sense of restraint and freshness here that keeps the wine lively and drinkable, while still delivering the structure expected from Gigondas. At $24.99, it’s a genuine, soulful bottle that reflects its terroir and offers remarkable value.

2019 K&L Discovery Series Bordeaux, Pauillac
Review Date: 08-14-2025
This 2019 Pauillac is exactly what Bordeaux should be—classic, honest, and full of character. It hits you first with cassis, blackberry, and that unmistakable graphite note. The tannins are firm but refined, letting the fruit shine without getting bossy.
It’s drinking beautifully now, but has the backbone to go the distance.
Frankly, at this price, you’d be crazy not to stash a few bottles away.

The 2023 Oakridge Henk Pinot is a go-to value with great purity of fruit, showcasing elegant red berry and cherry notes. It’s smooth and balanced, with soft tannins and a fresh, lingering finish. Perfect for pairing with roasted chicken or light pasta dishes. A reliable, refined Pinot that won’t break the bank.
2005 Bodegas Casa Juan "Señor de Lesmos" Reserva Especial Rioja
Review Date: 12-15-2015
What a treat to follow up on the 2005 Lesmos Reserva with this 2005 Especial Reserva 50/50 blend of Mazuelo and Tempranillo. Here you have the same great vintage year, but with a tasty twist. The nose is fueled with fresh pencil shavings and exudes ripe berry fruit. On the palate the fruit intensity steps up with notes of raspberries, cranberries and a slight star anise bitter note. Offering a healthy medium viscosity, and displaying a good mix of acidity and tannin, this wine is fit for dinner tonight while showing great potential to hold on to for a bit. This is a lovely bottle of Rioja and well-priced at $30 bucks. Don't miss out!

Capurro Estate Grown Single Vintage Quebranta Premium Pisco (700ml)
Review Date: 10-05-2015
Taste the terroir of Peru with this single varietal Quebranta, one of the strongest yet non-aromatic of the 8 designated varietals that can be used to make pisco. What quebranta lacks in aroma more than makes up for with rich, texture and complex flavors of sweet fried plantains, almonds and pepper. The full body of this spirit makes it a great emulsifier and perfect for making Pisco Sours, or it would work just fine alone as a soothing, slow tropical sipper.

Capurro Estate Grown Single Vintage Acholado Premium Pisco (700ml)
Review Date: 10-05-2015
Tropical and unique, Capurro's family blend of grapes called Acholado is a clear, colorless and delicious spirit exploring complex notes of dried grass, flora, pepper and light stone fruit flavors. This is an excellent choice to play with your standard tiki recipes and mix something truly exotic. Have some fun!

No one's going to burst your bubble here. If you have Champagne taste on a shoestring budget, this might be the perfect antidote. With a killer price point, fun flavors of strawberry-orange, and a tart lively finish this bottle is an amazing value and super versatile. This would be the perfect choice to accompany a bucket of fried chicken, bring to a pancake brunch or just sip while binge watching Orange is the New Black.

Now here's a truly distinct and cool American whisky hailing from Seattle that will capture the hearts of craft whisky drinkers and beer nerds alike.

Rare Wine Company "Historic Series - New York" Malmsey Madeira
Review Date: 03-23-2015
Here's an absolutely delicious treat and a lovely example of a classic sweet Madeira made from the Malvasia grape. Rich in color and luscious in body with notes of toasted hazelnuts, toffee and dates. This would make an excellent pairing with any nutty dessert.
