93 points James Suckling: "Plenty of pinot character with strawberry and dried apple and some flint and matchstick, as well as stone. It’s medium- to full-bodied with freshness, a creamy texture and a long, delicious finish. 40% pinot meunier, 30% chardonnay and 30% pinot noir. 28% 2019 and the rest reserve wine going back to 2006. Dosage 3g/l." 94 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The NV Champagne Brut Rose is an attractive pale salmon hue, with a fresh perfume of wild strawberry, ripe peach, white and red flowers, a hint of tropical fruit, and grapefruit. The palate is rounded, with fruit up front and through the mid-palate, and it has a silky and fresh lift. There is a wonderful ease and drinkability to this wine, which delivers balance and finesse. (AF)" (11/2022) 93 points James Suckling: "A succulent, delicious and precise brut rosé, made of chardonnay, pinot meunier and pinot noir. It has notes of w...

90 points Vinous: "The NV Extra Dry Prosecco Superiore holds nothing back with an extroverted bouquet of sweet exotic spice, vanilla bean and crushed apples. It’s rich and soothing on the palate, with a gentle bead of fine bubbles that gives way to ripe peach offset by a twang of sour citrus. While this tapers off a bit shorter than expected, it’s crisp and wonderfully refreshing. (EG)" (12/2021) K&L Notes: The Bronca sisters grow their own fruit on steep hillside vineyards, then make base wine and perform the secondary (sparkling) fermentation on non...

It is a blanc de noir made entirely from Meunier, and is composed of 50% solera reserves going back to 2009. It is aged three years on the lees, and dosed at just 8 grams per liter. 93 points Wine Advocate: "I must confess that I still have a soft spot for Pradeaux's rosé, and the 2024 Bandol Rose is no exception. Unfurling in the glass with notes of red berries, spices, spring flowers and apricots, it's medium- to full-bodied, complex and elegant in profile, with a juicy, fresh core of fruit and moderate tannins that culminate in a mineral, gently minty and ethereal finish. This is a beautifully crafted rosé that continues to uphold Pradeaux’s distinctive and timeless charm. (YC)" (06/2025) K&L Notes: There is the appellation of ...

This rosé comes from a handful of parcels that total seven hectares of vineyards planted in clay and limestone soils, on a gentle north-northwest-facing slope. Grenache-dominated, with smaller percentages of Mourvedre and Cinsault. Like the Cassis Blanc, the wine is taut, fresh and slightly saline. The winery makes only a small quantity of this, making this extremely hard to find, but its deliciousness makes it highly sought after. Get yours before it's gone.

(01/2025) Vinous: "The 2023 Chablis Village Vieilles Vignes has a bit more complexity and tension than other cuvées, with a subtle flintiness developing in the glass. Its vivid medium gold hue is followed by a vibrant nose of salted citrus, tangerine, exotic flowers, and subtle spice. Medium-bodied, pure, rounded, and beautifully balanced, it has plenty of power and density, integrated acidity, and a great finish. This impeccably made Chardonnay should be snatched up by readers, as it competes with wines at two to three times the price." (08/2024) 94 points Vinous: "T...

The palate is weighted with ripe passionfruit, nectarine and honeysuckle. This is ripe and rich. It's densely packed and acidity trots in line, enabling a long, slippery finish. A hint of celery salt and raw cashew on the finish with a smattering of lacey skin texture. Lots of value here, for the price tag, and a memorable wine." In the part of Champagne known most for Pinot Noir, there is a magical place called La Perle Blanche de la Montagne de Reims, the east-facing slope of this small but prominent hill. The first village of this sub-region is the Premier Cru of Trépail, where the Petiau family tends to a small but exceptional vineyard. In the past, this family ran the nursery for the surrounding area, and like many of the best producers in Champagne, they have continued to nurture their own massal selection of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, choosing not to use the earlier ripeni...

Produced from Loureiro and Pederña grapes grown in the granitic soils of the Vinho Verde region, the Santola (or as we here are calling it, "the crab wine") is a delicious, spritely, and refreshing white. It's unusual to see a wine such as this released alongside 6-year-olds, but it does have all-important length and grip." (07/2021) 92 points James Suckling: "This white shows lots of sliced green apple and flint character. It's full-bodied with fresh acidity and a sherbet aftertaste. Lots going on here. They start with good base material, having old vines on some of the best sites, predominantly in the east of the appellation, whether it’s Les Romains (flint), Le Paradis (limestone-based), Chambrates (limestone and clay) or Guigne-Chèvres (a rare north-facing site of flint over clay-limestone), the latter is my personal ...

The blend here, with its seasoning of Petite Syrah, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, surely also plays a role in lending this wine its intriguing complexities.
