Bid on this bottle of 2007 DRC Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée-Conti Grand Cru (96RP, 96WS, 95ST, 94BH). Wine Advocate: "I have never been treated to such a profusion of floral perfume from this legendary site as rose over the glass of 2007 Romanee-Conti. Hyacinth, rose, gladiola, and iris are underlain by scents of moss-covered, damp stone, wild ginger, and diverse tiny red fruits... Along with persistent inner-mouth profusion of floral perfume come savory, irresistibly juicy raspberry and pomegranate as well as an impression of marrow-rich, multi-boned meat stock. A wafting, wave-like finish harbors the sort of exhilarating sheer refreshment one looks for in white wine, and a kaleidoscopic interchange of colorful floral, spice, fruit, carnal, and mineral elements such as few wines of any sort can deliver. Starting Bid: $12,800.00
Bid on this bottle of 1986 DRC Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée-Conti Grand Cru (95WS, 94RP). Wine Spectator: "Incredibly subtle, lean and tart, the gorgeous red cherry, plum and cedar flavors already emerging from behind a screen of tannin that will need until 1993 to begin to soften toward drinkability. Has the generosity to warrant the cellaring, and the grace and harmony to become a lovely wine with age. (web-1989)"
Current Bid: $8,000.00
Bid on this bottle of 2017 DRC Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée-St-Vivant Grand Cru ((95-98JM), 98VN, 96DC, 95RP, 94BH). Vinous: "A total stunner, the 2017 Romanée St. Vivant Grand Cru is the most expressive wine in the lineup today. Rich, creamy and so wonderfully textured, the RSV simply has it all. The tannins are present, but they are also matched by tremendous fruit density and pure power. Floral and savory overtones grace the lifted, saline finish. Leaving price aside, if I could only have one wine in this range, it would unquestionably be the RSV. The 2017 is a total knock-out. That’s all there is to it. (AG)" (07/2020)
Current Bid: $2,240.00
91 points Vinous: "Dark magenta. Ripe red and blue fruit aromas, along with building spice and floral nuances. Juicy, focused and light on its feet, offering tangy red and black currant and bitter cherry flavors and a hint of candied flowers. Silky tannins add gentle grip to a long, spicy finish that features a lingering suggestion of bitter rhubarb. Made with whole clusters. (JR) " (01/2020)
