Bid on this bottle of 2005 Joseph Phelps "Backus" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97WE, 96RP, 92ST, 92WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Price be damned, this is an authentically gorgeous, important Cabernet Sauvignon. It calls to mind the amazing 2001, with its huge, perfect tannins and acids and artistic appliqué of new oak. But the star of the show surely is the fruit. Mounds of ripe blackberries and cherries pile up, veering into currants and cassis and something wild and decadently animal, like charred meat. Fabulous now despite the firm tannins, and should evolve for many years." (05/2009)
Current Bid: $151.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2019 Alter Ego de Palmer, Margaux (96JS, 95DC, 94JD, 94VN, 93JA) and 1-bottle of 2020 Alter Ego de Palmer, Margaux (96JS, 94DC, 94JD, 94VN, 93JA, 93RP). Of the 2019 Alter Ego de Palmer, Margaux, James Suckling writes: "Intense aromas of blackcurrants, cedar and ripe tobacco with hints of violets, following through to a full-bodied palate with extremely refined tannins that are well-integrated into the wine and are long and subtle at the finish. Such precision and harmony with structure. From biodynamically grown grapes. Best after 2023." (02/2022)
Current Bid: $140.00

Bid on this bottle of 1978 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94JG, 94WE, 90RP). Wine Enthusiast: "Still good color, getting a pretty bouquet of old cabernet. Delicate, inviting, refined, not at all morbid. Very dry, lots of weak cassis. Soft, distinguished, still lots of life ahead. Sweet vanilla, butter. Old claret. *Editors' Choice*" (06/2005)
Current Bid: $165.00

Bid on this magnum of 2017 Kinsman Eades "Rhadamanthus" Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 96WS, 94VN) in original wood. Wine Spectator: "This is throwing off all kinds of vibrant violet, sweet tobacco, lilac, singed alder, juniper and sweet bay leaf accents, while the prodigious core of steeped plum, blackberry and black currant fruit waits in reserve. A cast iron bolt through the finish keeps everything in line, and when the fruit unwinds fully, this should deliver a pretty unique experience. Best from 2023 through 2038. 106 cases made. (JM, Web-2021)"
Current Bid: $605.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2016 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour - Private Reserve" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 97JD, 97RP, 96VN) and 1-bottle of 2019 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour - Private Reserve" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (100JS, 99JD, 97DC, 97VN, 97WE). Of the 2019 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour - Private Reserve" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon, James Suckling writes: "**#1 World Wine of the Year 2022** Wow! The aromas to this are really exceptional, with a tangerine edge to the blackcurrants, graphite, lead pencil, flowers and wet earth. It changes all the time. So expressive and refined. Full-bodied with great intensity and depth of fruit. The ultra-fine tannins display millions of layers. " (05/2022)
Current Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2022 Ceritas "Charles Heintz Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (96JD) and 2-bottles of 2022 Ceritas "TBH Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (94JD). Of the 2022 Ceritas "Charles Heintz Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "From an esteemed vineyard planted in the 1980s, the 2022 Chardonnay Charles is a highly appealing and attractive wine out of the gate. On opening, it pours a bright silver straw hue and is forward and highly expressive with notes of salted pineapple, fresh citrus blossoms, orange zest, and lifted mineral accents. Medium-bodied to full-bodied, it boasts wonderful fresh, juicy intensity through the palate. It is emblematic of the 2022 vintage, which offers a wide drinking window, as it’s a pleasure to drink now, and it should have some real longevity over the coming 10-12 years. (AF)" (06/2024)
Current Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2020 Aubert "Larry Hyde and Sons Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay (96JS, 96RP, 96WS). Wine Advocate: "A cool, late-harvest site relative to Aubert's other sources, the 2020 Chardonnay Larry Hyde & Sons also sees a bit less new French oak (50%). Readers will note that the oak made virtually no impression on me, as the wine bursts with aromas of ripe, honeyed melon, balanced by bright lime notes. Full-bodied, creamy and lush on the palate, this is just a pleasure to drink, finishing long and zesty. (JC)" (12/2022)
Current Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2019 Chimney Rock Stags Leap District Merlot, 1-bottle of 2021 Chimney Rock "White Pebble" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2-bottles of 2021 Chimney Rock Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (96IWR, 95JD, 94TWI, 94WS, 93DC, 93JS, 92RP). Of the 2021 Chimney Rock Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon, Int'l Wine Review writes: "The 2021 Stags Leap Estate Cabernet from Chimney Rock is a mélange of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 3% Merlot, 0.5% Petit Verdot, and 0.5% Malbec that is made with estate fruit from the winery. It’s aged 18 months in new French Oak and delivers refined notes of black plums, cassis, cedary herbs, sandalwood, tobacco, sweet vanilla and baking spices. Tannins are crunchy but wonderfully integrated into the backbone of the wine alongside a spine of rich acidity. Another winner from Chimney Rock. Highly recommended. (JY)" (01/2024)
Current Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2022 Domaine de la Côte "Bloom's Field" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (95DC, 95WS), 1-bottle of 2022 Domaine de la Côte "DDLC" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (91VN), and 1-bottle of 2022 Domaine de la Côte "Memorious" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (95WS). Of the 2022 Domaine de la Côte "Bloom's Field" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir, Wine Spectator writes: "A juicy, well-built red, with a structured core of dark cherry and boysenberry fruit harnessed by streaks of wet stone, savory and tobacco, while bay and sandalwood hints peek in on the finish. This is still tight, coiled and steely, but the energy is there for unfurling in the cellar. Best from 2025 through 2038. (JM)" (05/2024)
Current Bid: $226.18

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2022 Kistler "Laguna Ridge Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (96JD, 96VN, 95JS, 95RP, 95TWI). Vinous: "The 2022 Pinot Noir Laguna Ridge is dark, pliant and super-expressive right out of the gate. At the same time, it is also quite closed structurally, which I take as a positive sign for its future development. Black cherry, lavender, sage, mint and dried flowers build beautifully in the glass. There's gorgeous textural depth and intensity here. (AG)" (01/2024)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2020 Kosta Browne "Bootlegger's Hill" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (98WE, 95JD, 94JS, 92WS), 1-bottle of 2021 Kosta Browne "Bootlegger's Hill" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (92JD, 92RP), and 1-bottle of 2022 Kosta Browne "Bootlegger's Hill" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (97JS). Of the 2020 Kosta Browne "Bootlegger's Hill" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Rounded edges and velvety tannins wrap up this dusky, earthy, savory and cherry-scented wine for a complete package of indulgence that is also well balanced and refreshing. The integrated tannins, supportive acidity and medium body help showcase a beautifully complex composition. It is Russian River Pinot at the highest level. (JG)" (11/2023)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2016 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Estate" Dry Creek Valley Primitivo and 2-bottles of 2018 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Estate" Dry Creek Valley Petite Sirah (96VN, 93RP, 93W&S, 92JD, 92WE). Of the 2018 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Estate" Dry Creek Valley Petite Sirah, Vinous writes: "The 2018 Lytton Estate Petite Sirah is totally stunning. Bright, focused and powerful, the 2018 presents a breathtaking interplay of rich Petite fruit allied to a classic, old-school sense of structure. Dark blue/purplish fruit, leather, licorice, lavender, menthol and gravel are some of the many notes that infuse the 2018 with all those layers of flavor. The 2018 is a real stunner. (AG)" (09/2020)
Current Bid: $86.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2021 Occidental "Cuvée Catherine - Running Fence Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (99TWI, 98DC, 98RP, 97JD, 97VN, 97WS). The Wine Independent: "Medium to deep ruby-purple colored, the 2021 Pinot Noir Running Fence Vineyard Cuvee Catherine is a little closed to start, slowly unfurling to reveal notes of juicy blackberries, boysenberries, and black raspberries, giving way to wafts of tar, damp soil, moss, and, eventually, lilacs. The medium-bodied palate is tightly wound and super-intense, delivering a racy backbone and fine-grained tannins to support the earth-laced black fruit flavors, finishing long and minerally. (LPB)" (01/2024)
Current Bid: $235.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2023 Raen "Royal St. Robert Cuvée" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (99JS, 94WS, 93VN). James Suckling: "An amazingly complex, dynamic wine that demands your attention from the first sniff to the lingering finish. Aromas of redwood forest, rosemary, purple flowers and black cherries, then black tea, pomegranate, dark cherry, dried raspberry and wild mushroom flavors. Fine-grained moderate tannins and crunchy acidity give it such a firm backbone. " (01/2025)
Current Bid: $351.53

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2009 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92DC), 1-bottle of 2010 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91IWR), and 1-bottle of 2011 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92DC). Of the 2009 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Decanter writes: "This was the first year the team used their new berry assessment protocol, which they credit for being able to harvest the grapes at peak flavour. Luckily that happened before a typhoon dropped 6 inches of rain on one day. It’s a mulberry, black cherry and earth kind of wine, with strong floral and graphite aromas. The long core of warm fruit is very sweet and spicy. (EM)" (09/2019)
Current Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2017 Argiano Brunello di Montalcino (94JS, 93RP, 92KO, 92VN, 92WE, 92WS) and 2-bottles of 2018 Argiano Brunello di Montalcino (97KO, 97WE, 95WS, 94JD, 94JS, 94W&S, 93DC, 93RP, 92VN). Of the 2018 Argiano Brunello di Montalcino, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Like a good Valentine's Day party, everything is shades of red on the vibrant, sanguine nose, from strawberries and cranberries to savory notes of pennies, brick and crisp leather. Citrus joins the cranberries on a bright, acidic palate, but a meaty, bitter finish creates balance. Dynamic fruit stands up to authoritative, unapologetic tannins. (DG)" (12/2023)
Current Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 d'Arenberg "The Dead Arm" Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia (95RP, 93VN). Wine Advocate: "D’Arenberg’s most famous wine is its flagship, The Dead Arm Shiraz. The 2005 The Dead Arm Shiraz is sourced from ancient head-pruned vines. It was aged for 22 months in a mix of new and used French and American oak. It is opaque purple/black with an expansive perfume of toast, smoke, spice box, mineral, pencil lead, tar, licorice, blueberry, and blackberry. (JM)" (10/2007)
Current Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 5-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 1984 Chateau Potelle Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 2-bottles of 1986 Chateau Potelle Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2-bottles of 1987 Chateau Potelle Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Of the 1984 Chateau Potelle Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Chateau Potelle was founded in 1983 by Jean-Noel Fourmeaux, a Bordeaux native sent to Napa Valley after the 1976 Judgment of Paris to evaluate American wines. Captivated by the region, he stayed and launched the winery. Focused on small-batch, hillside-grown wines, Chateau Potelle emphasizes minimal intervention, natural yeasts, and fruit-forward expressions.
Current Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 99VN, 96WS). Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep garnet-purple colored 2019 Scarecrow hits the ground running with bold expressions of crème de cassis, wild blueberries and chocolate-covered cherries plus hints of dried herbs, tilled soil and crushed rocks with a fragrant undercurrent of Indian spices. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is laden with layer upon layer of tightly packed mineral-sparked black fruit flavors, framed by super plush tannins and absolutely seamless freshness, finishing long, long, long. This expression of the venerable J.J. Cohn vineyard—including vines planted in 1945 by John Daniel and dry farmed—is pure magic. (LPB)" (10/2021)
Current Bid: $1,560.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2021 Work Vineyard "Lamya's" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "Darker berries, currants, sweet tobacco, and spicy, chocolaty notes all emerge from the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Lamya's, a round, nicely balanced, opulent Cabernet Sauvignon that has sweet tannins and a good finish. It's not going to make old bones, but it's one of those textured, fruit-forward Napa Cabernets that will drink nicely for 7-8 years." (01/2025)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (100JA, 100JD, 100JS, 100RP, 100TWI, 100WS, 99VN, 98W&S, 97DC, 97ST, 96WE). Wine Advocate: "The mineral-laced 2005 Haut Brion (56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc) is exquisite. With its elegance and finesse, it is not as powerful as La Mission, but the nobility and complexity of the aromatics, incredible fragrance (subtle smoke and blue, red, and black fruits) that persists in the glass, full-bodied mouthfeel (though very light and delicate on its feet), and incredible length characterize this great Haut-Brion. It is just starting to drink well, and should continue to do so for at least another three decades. It is a tour de force in winemaking, but only 9, 000 cases were produced. (RP)" (06/2015)
Current Bid: $2,150.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2003 Pape-Clément, Pessac-Léognan (95RP, 93WS, 92JS, 92ST). Wine Advocate: "This gorgeous, fully mature, complex Pape Clement exhibits notes of smoky tobacco, earth, loamy soil, forest floor, black cherries, plums and cassis. Medium to full-bodied, fresh and lively, the acids have fallen away and the tannins have melted into an opulent, fleshy, classic Bordeaux. Consume it over the next 10-15 years. Bravo! (RP)" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1990 Domaine Comte de Vogüé Musigny Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes (96RP). Wine Advocate: "The Bordeaux-like, saturated dense ruby/purple color is followed by a tight-fisted nose and flavors of black fruits, underbrush, minerals, smoke, and new oak. Although extremely concentrated, the wine is broodingly backward, and not fun to drink … yet. This loaded effort should prove to be one of the longest-lived red Burgundies made in the last 20 years. (RP)" (02/2002)
Current Bid: $1,801.60

Bid on this 5-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2009 Frank Family Reserve Rutherford Sangiovese, 2-bottles of 2010 Frank Family Carneros Pinot Noir , and 1-bottle of 2013 Frank Family "Lewis Vineyard Reserve" Carneros Pinot Noir (91WE, 90WS). Of the 2013 Frank Family "Lewis Vineyard Reserve" Carneros Pinot Noir, Wine Enthusiast writes: "This is a chewy, generous and expansive vineyard-designated wine, dense and fulsome in savory cranberry, cardamom and streaks of black tea. Full bodied, its layers of texture are soft and velvety, and the finish lengthy in spice. *Cellar Selection* (VB)" (12/2015)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2004 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac (94RP, 94WE, 92W&S, 90JS, 90TWI, 90WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2004 Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with aromas of rich dark berry fruit, cigar wrapper and loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, with velvety tannins and a seamless, charming profile, it is really beginning to drink with some style. It's one of the wines of the vintage and continues to represent terrific value. (WK)" (02/2022)
Current Bid: $600.00

Bid on this 9-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2009 Ken Brown "Rancho la Viña Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir, 2-bottles of 2010 Ken Brown "Clos Pepe" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir , 1-bottle of 2010 Ken Brown "Rancho la Viña Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (94WE), 2-bottles of 2013 Ken Brown "La Encantada Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (95WE), and 2-bottles of 2013 Ken Brown "Rita's Crown Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (92WE). Of the 2013 Ken Brown "La Encantada Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir, Wine Enthusiast writes: "An abundance of chaparral spice adds intrigue to the nose of this bottling by veteran Ken Brown. Dried sage and a eucalyptus-like menthol character decorate the red currant and raspberry core. Pine needles play prominently on the palate, giving depth to the cranberry, pomegranate and white-pepper flavors. It offers tons of flair, but also elegance. *Editors' Choice* (MK)" (09/2017)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 7-bottle lot of 1985 Simi Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon (91WS). Wine Spectator: "Ripe and delicious but elegantly contained in a sharply focused package, playing sweet oak against the beautifully defined Cabernet flavor. Has the finesse and balance to develop in the cellar...*Top 100 Wines of 1989* " (09/1989)
Current Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1991 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Cask 23" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "The superb 1991 Cask 23 Proprietary Red Wine appears to be one of the truly outstanding examples of this expensive proprietary red wine. The wine's saturated dark purple color is followed by a huge, unevolved but sexy nose of toasty new oak, dense, black-cherry and jammy cassis fruit, and vague scents of underbrush and spice. Extremely rich and concentrated, it offers intriguing blackcurrant and coffee flavors, full body, remarkable harmony, and a finish that lasts for nearly a minute. (RP)" (12/1994)
Current Bid: $725.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2008 Barham Mendelsohn "Hazel Grace Selection" Russian River Pinot Noir.
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this bottle of 1982 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac (100JD, 100JS, 100RP, 99DC, 99VN, 98WS). Wine Advocate: "The 1982 Mouton Rothschild is drinking brilliantly today, soaring from the glass with aromas of cassis, dark berry fruit, charcoal, pencil shavings, espresso roast and loamy soil. Full-bodied, ample and enveloping, it's a layered, sumptuous wine that's remarkably seamless and complete, with impressive concentration, ripe but lively acids and fine, melting tannins. Long and resonant, this is a great wine that can keep company with the likes of Mouton's 1961, 1959 and 1955. (WK)" (02/2022)
Current Bid: $1,250.00

Bid on this 3-magnum lot of 2015 Honig Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (90RP). Wine Advocate: A blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot, 4% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc, the medium garnet-purple colored 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is spicy on the nose with cassis, plums and cedar scents. Medium-bodied and well balanced, it shows nice purity in the mouth with grainy tannins and good length. (LPB) (10/2017)
Current Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2018 Ridge Vineyards "Mancini Ranch" Russian River Valley Red Blend (94VN) and 2-bottles of 2018 Ridge Vineyards "Mazzoni Home Ranch" Sonoma County Red Blend. Of the 2018 Ridge Vineyards "Mancini Ranch" Russian River Valley Red Blend, Vinous writes: "Carignane takes center stage in the 2018 Mancini Ranch. Bright red fruit, flowers, mint and sweet spice are some of the many notes that grace the 2018. Silky and medium in body, with striking finesse, the Mancini Ranch has so much to give. Time in the glass brings out a touch of gaminess as the wine turns delicate with a bit of aeration. In this tasting, the Mancini Ranch is simply tremendous. It’s also a great example of the year in the Russian River. The blend is 80% Carignane and 20% Zinfandel. (AG)" (09/2020)
Current Bid: $102.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1991 Chateau Montelena "Calistoga Cuvee" Cabernet Sauvignon. The debut vintage for this, the earlier drinking cab from this great, historic estate known for reds that demand decades in your cellar. The color is deep garnet and the nose is super spicy-berry, with a hint of French oak and a little bit of cedar. The wine is of medium density with lots of ripe Cabernet flavors and has a nice, soft feel to it. It finishes smoothly and the abundant fruit balances the tannin.
Current Bid: $390.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1986 Clerc-Milon, Pauillac (97WS, 92JA). The notes linger on and on. * Wine #2, Top 100 Wines of 1989*" (05/1989)
Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2019 Stone Edge Farm Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93WE, 92JS, 92RP, 92WS, 91JD). Wine Enthusiast: "This wine is big and fairly tannic, but has a warmth to its ripe black fruit and milk-chocolate flavors so that it's already enjoyable to drink. A full body carries the ripeness into a lingering finish. (JG)" (11/2023)
Current Bid: $211.12

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Kistler "Kistler Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Chardonnay ((95-98RP), 93VN, 93WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Chardonnay Kistler Vineyard possesses honeysuckle, tangerine, and orange blossom characteristics along with great acidity, plenty of minerality, a greenish hue to its light gold color, and fabulous texture, length, and richness. I suspect there is more honeysuckle in this offering than in some of its peers, but it is flirting with perfection ... it's that compelling. (RP)" (12/2006)
Current Bid: $146.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Continuum "Sage Mountain Vineyard" St. Helena Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 100JS, 100VN, 95WE, 94DC) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2016 Proprietary Red Wine Sage Mountain Vineyard may very well be the single greatest vintage made here thus far. It is quite simply a stunning wine and a towering achievement from the Mondavi family. Powerful, ample and sweeping in stature, the 2016 boasts breathtaking intensity in all of its dimensions. I see the pure, vibrant fruit of the 2013, but with more finessed tannins that add to the wine's feeling of real sensuality. Bright, precise and finely sculpted with remarkable persistence and perfectly integrated tannins, the 2016 is positively stellar - not to mention one of the wines of the vintage. (AG)" (01/2020)
Current Bid: $575.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2002 Duckhorn "Estate Grown" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93W&S), 1-bottle of 2002 Duckhorn "Monitor Ledge" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90WE), and 1-bottle of 2003 Duckhorn "Estate Grown" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Of the 2002 Duckhorn "Estate Grown" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine & Spirits writes: "A Christmas dinner Cabernet, this sleek red has a pure black cherry flavor and cool spice that would stand with beef Wellington, especially for the pâté. The luscious richness, the satisfying scent of fine, well-seasoned oak and the gentle balance all make it easy to enjoy now. The pleasure of the wine increases with air, as it will with age. " (12/2005)
Current Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1989 Gloria, St-Julien.
Current Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 1986 Inglenook "Reserve Cask" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91WS) and 1-bottle of 1987 Inglenook "Reserve Cask" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Of the 1986 Inglenook "Reserve Cask" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Spectator writes: "Highly Recommended" by the Wine Spectator: "Spicy, generous and complex, with sharply focused currant, plum and nutmeg flavors that zing right through the long finish. Starting Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1987 Louis Martini "Monte Rosso" Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. 93 points and a Highly Recommended designation from the Wine Spectator: "Very ripe and rich, with aromas of cedar and fruit and well-integrated currant, cherry, berry, oak and toast flavors. The tannins are firm, but not overbearing on the finish. The best Martini Cabernet since the sensational 1970. Best from 1995 through 2000. 1, 450 cases made." (11/90)
Current Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1991 Silverado "Limited Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "The first Limited Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, the 1991, is a knock-out effort. Although Silverado has a tendency to take great raw materials and add excessive acidity in the winemaking process, that did not happen with this marvelously rich, natural tasting Cabernet. The wine possesses an opaque purple color, a big, sweet nose of cassis and new oak, and full-bodied, concentrated, well-balanced flavors with a harmonious integration of wood, acidity, alcohol, and tannin. (RP)" (12/1994)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Sine Qua Non "Entre Chien et Loup'' White Blend (97JD, 97RP, 94VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Entre Chien et Loup is a blend of 44% Chardonnay, 40% Roussanne, 8% Petit Manseng and 8% Viognier coming 44% from Bien Nacido Vineyard, 30% from the Cumulus (Estate) Vineyard and 26% from the Eleven Confessions (Estate) Vineyard. No settling was done to the juices—they were fermented as 'dirty' as possible and, as usual, they were not racked. This wine was matured for around 19 months (bottled April 12, 2017), in: 19% concrete eggs, 20% stainless steel, 20% used barrels and 41% new French oak. (LPB) 97+ " (09/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 98JS, 98RP, 94WS, 93DC) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Les Pavots, which is their proprietary red wine blend from Knights Valley, is a killer effort, and one of their all-time greats, ranking right up there with the 2007 or 1997. A blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Cabernet Franc and the rest Merlot and Petit Verdot, there are 3, 600 cases of it. The wine displays plenty of mocha, chocolate, blackberry, creosote and charcoal in an incredibly complex fragrance. Full-bodied and opulent, it shows, loads of tannin, a hint of unsmoked cigar tobacco and plenty of black and blue fruits. Opaque purple to the rim, this wine is in need of a good 5-6 years of cellaring and certainly has 30-40 years of life in it. (RP) 98+" (12/2015)

Has a superb array of fruit, ranging from red, through to blue, darker purple and black. Nuances of dark, stony minerals, spices, wild flowers and herbs. So fleshy. This has impeccable balance, super-silky tannins and an extraordinarily long finish. " (07/2018)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Chateau de la Tour Clos Vougeot Grand Cru (93BH, 93VN). Vinous: "Dark red with ruby tones. Very ripe, almost exotic aromas of black cherry, dark plum, licorice and menthol, with lower-pitched notes of damp earth and clove; less perfumed than the 2016 version. Compellingly rich and broad but showing a bit more alcoholic weight and warmth than the '16 (the alcohol here is 13.6%, vs. 13.2% for the earlier vintage) and already shutting down in the bottle. Finishes with broad, dusty, building tannins and strong medicinal reserve. (ST)" (01/2018)
