Bid on this bottle of Cossart & Gordon Royal Solera Duo Centenary.
Current Bid: $385.00

Bid on this bottle of 2004 Aldo Conterno "Romirasco" Barolo (95DC, 95RP, 94ST, 94WE, 93VN, 93WS). Wine Advocate: "Tasted at the Ottoman restaurant in Canberra. A brilliant Barolo from Conterno from the splendid 2004 vintage. It is showing a fair bit of oak on the nose although there is plenty of fruit to back it up. But those aromatics are just packed full of well-defined fruit. The palate is beautifully balanced with svelte tannins, so silky smooth, so lithe in the mouth you cannot possibly resist its charms. It just gets better and better in the glass. (NM)" (03/2012)
Current Bid: $146.00

Bid on this bottle of 1998 Antinori "Tignanello" Toscana (94W&S, 91RP).
Current Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Diamond Creek "Volcanic Hill" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JS, 95RP, 95W&S, 94CG). Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Volcanic Hill has a saturated ruby/purple color that’s generally as dense and dark as the Red Rock Terrace. Deep crème de cassis, crushed rock, spring flower and blueberry notes are all present. This full-bodied wine is deep, backward, and probably just as young and youthful for a ten-year-old as the Red Rock Terrace. With plenty of tannin, beautiful fruit and great purity, this should turn into something special as well, but it needs another five or more years of bottle age. It’s hard to pick a favorite between this and the Red Rock Terrace, but if you’re looking for earlier drinkability, Gravelly Meadow wins hands-down. This is another 20- to 25-year wine, and that’s from 2015, not from 2005. Drink through 2040. (RP) 95+" (06/2015)
Current Bid: $430.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2018 Barnett Spring Mountain District Merlot (92RP) and 3-bottles of 2019 Barnett Spring Mountain District Merlot. Of the 2018 Barnett Spring Mountain District Merlot, Wine Advocate writes: "The 2018 Merlot is a blend of 88% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 3.5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3.5% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple in color, it gives up earthy notes of truffles, damp soil and moss over a core of warm plums and blackberry pie. Medium to full-bodied, soft and plush, it has bags of juicy black fruit with a lively line and lifted finish. (LPB)" (11/2021)
Current Bid: $210.00

Bid on this magnum of 2017 Sine Qua Non "Tectumque'' California White Blend (1.5L) (97RP, 94JD, 93VN). Wine Advocate: "Tectumque means 'shelter' in Latin. This wine was initially going to be called 'Inconnue' ('unknown' in French), but that name had already been trademarked. Naming wines is becoming impossible, ' mentioned Manfred. 'Everything has already been taken. Even, 'No Name!'-- This is a blend of 38% Roussanne, 31% Petit Manseng, 18% Chardonnay, 9% Viognier and 4% Muscat. The vineyard components are 52% Cumulus Estate, 19% Eleven Confessions Estate, 18% Bien Nacido Vineyard and 11% The Third Twin Estate. It spent around 20 months aging in 9% concrete eggs, 4% amphora, 9% used barrels and 78% new French oak puncheons. (LPB) 97+" (06/2019)
Current Bid: $312.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2010 B Cellars "Blend 24" Napa Valley Red Blend (93WE, 90RP). Wine Enthusiast: "The voluptuous texture of this wine vacillates between velvet and satin, while the flavors are wildly ripe and delicious. Jammy cherries, blueberries, plums, dark chocolate, cassis liqueur and espresso flood the palate, yet somehow the wine retains a balanced elegance without going over the top." (08/2013)
Current Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2021 Boich Family "Perennius" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP). Wine Advocate: "There are just 100 cases of the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Perennius, a best-barrel selection by Winemaker Jeff Ames that never amounts to more than four barrels. Bottled just two days prior to our tasting, it was singing, brimming with sophisticated aromas of black cherries, licorice, dried spices and loamy earth. It's full-bodied, rich and concentrated, with a long, velvety finish. When you consider the single vineyards Ames can choose from, it's no wonder that this wine is perennially the winery's top-rated offering. (JC)" (07/2024)
Current Bid: $552.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Corison "Sunbasket Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (96DC, 95JG, 95VN, 94JS, 91W&S) and 1-bottle of 2016 Corison "Sunbasket Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (95JS, 95VN, 94JD, 94JG, 94WS, 93W&S). Of the 2014 Corison "Sunbasket Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon, Decanter writes: "Cathy Corison was the first woman winemaker in the Napa Valley to own her own winery. She’s usually one of the earliest to pick, and her wines are known for their understated elegance. The wine comes from a vineyard (now owned by Corison) which the great winemaker André Tchelistcheff used to call a 'sunbasket'. The Cabernet is silky and exquisitely pure-tasting, with lively flavors evocative of fresh-chilled cherries and exotic spices. Wonderful structure and delineation, and very long. (KM)" (03/2019)
Current Bid: $333.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Failla "Hirsch Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (92VN, 90WS). Vinous: "The 2013 Pinot Noir Hirsch Vineyard is another of the more reticent wines in the range, but it retains an element of tightly wound inner tension that is palpable. Today just a hint of the wine's true potential is on display, but there is a lot to look forward to. As always, the Hirsch is complex, multi-dimensional and pedigreed. Expressive spiced notes wrap around a core of dark fruit on the highly expressive, nuanced finish. This is a fascinating set of wines from Failla and Ehren Jordan. " (06/2015)
Current Bid: $124.00

Of the 2014 Halleck "The Farm Vineyard" Russian River Pinot Noir, Producer notes from Allen Meadows for Burghound writes: "Ross and Jennifer Halleck moved to Sonoma County in 1991, planting their first vines in the Halleck Vineyard in 1993, with the first harvest in 1999. These were the first vineyard planting in the hills of Sebastopol, and at 900', it is one of the highest vineyards in Sonoma County. In 2005 Rick Davis has been the winemaker." (10/2022)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Kistler "Kistler Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (95VN, 92WS, 91RP). Vinous: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Kistler Vineyard comes across as quite supple and voluptuous today, with tons of upfront juiciness. Racy and opulent from the outset, the Kistler Vineyard blossoms with notable depth and layers of enveloping fruit. Of the 2019 Littorai "Cerise Vineyard" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir, Wine Advocate writes: "The 2019 Pinot Noir Cerise Vineyard comes from vines planted in 1998 at 800 to 1, 100 feet in elevation and farmed using organically certified materials. They are in the process of conversion to biodynamic farming. Medium ruby in color, it has pure scents of cranberry, burnt orange, desiccated violet, pipe tobacco, tar and forest floor, plus wafts of potpourri. (EB)" (07/2022)

Of the 2014 Lynmar Estate "Monastery" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Wine Enthusiast writes: "The new oak is dialed down a bit to 33% in this memorable red from the producer's estate Quail Hill Vineyard. Lovely in every way, it opens in rose petals and a subtlety of Asian five-spice, before a succulence of cranberry, rhubarb and orange unleash a fullness of fruit and lush texture on the palate. *Editors' Choice* (VB)" (03/2017)
Current Bid: $125.00

Beautiful notes of graphite, mulberries, blueberries and blackberries jump from the glass of this dense purple-colored 2012. Of the 2016 Denner "Mother of Exiles" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Extremely dense and dark in color, this blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc shows crisp black currant, cocoa and cola on the pure and delicious nose. Polished yet firm tannins meet with snappy acidity on the palate, where flavors of black currant and stone converge in long-lasting harmony. *Cellar Selection* (MK)" (12/2019)
Current Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Far Niente Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (94WE, 93JS, 92DC, 92W&S, 91RP, 90VN, 90WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Sourced largely from the Martin Stelling Vineyard, this is a supple, soft wine, with refined tannins. A zippy nose of rose and spice scents paves the way for more powerful leather saddle, cedar and black tea elements. Its fruit is wild and brambly, recalling blackberry and dark cherry with enviable succulence. *Editors' Choice* (VB)" (12/2017)
Current Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Nickel & Nickel "Branding Iron Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. Nickel & Nickel specializes in single-vineyards wines. Vineyard Description: Named for the branding iron owned by the proprietor, the eight-and-a-half acre Branding Iron Vineyard lies in western Oakville, close to the base of the Mayacamas Mountains. The vineyard is comprised of well-drained clay loam and the vines are vertically trellised to maximize sunlight and open the canopy. The area’s warm climate and sun exposure in both the morning and afternoon are perfect for slowly ripening the fruit, which often benefits from a long hang time.Harvest Notes: Similar to 2012, warm days and cool, foggy nights prevailed, offering the perfect conditions for fruit and tannin maturity. The season began about 10 days ahead of last year and the vines looked well balanced going into the summer.

Bid on this bottle of 1989 Bruno Giacosa "Villero di Castiglione Faletto" Barolo (96VN, 95RP). Vinous: "The 1989 Barolo Villero has long been one of my favorite Giacosa wines among Barolos that don’t quite reach the level of the truly epic. Intensely perfumed, silky and giving, the 1989 remains quite fresh and nuanced, not to mention absolutely delicious. The classic austerity and persistence are striking. (AG)" (08/2017)

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot in original wood; including 3-bottles of 2014 Sine Qua Non "Capo dei Putti" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah (99JD, 98VN, 96RP) and 3-bottles of 2014 Sine Qua Non "Testa dei Cherubini" Sta. Rita Hills Grenache (99JD, 98RP, 98VN). Of the 2014 Sine Qua Non "Capo dei Putti" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Leading off the reds, the extended barrel-aged 2014 Syrah Capo Dei Putti boasts an insane bouquet of cedarwood, white chocolate, caramelized meats, candle way, and assorted red and black fruits. With full-bodied richness, ultra-fine tannins, and an incredible elegance, it changed every time I came back to the glass and is a multi-dimensional, riveting red wine from California. A blend of 90% Syrah and the balance Viognier, Petite Sirah, and Grenache, partially destemmed and aged 38 months in 94% new French oak, give this beauty 2-3 years of bottle age, count yourself lucky, and enjoy bottles over the following 10-15 years." Bid on this bottle of 2006 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS, 94JS, 92CG). Current Bid: $125.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Saxum "Bone Rock - James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Syrah (96RP, 95ST, 94WE). Wine Advocate: "No wimpy wine, the 2006 Bone Rock James Berry Vineyard (76% Syrah, 18% Mourvedre, and 6% Grenache) has over 16% alcohol. It possesses phenomenal texture, stunning purity, and remarkable freshness, which, again, is attributable to the limestone soils as well as the proprietor’s brilliant hands-off winemaking philosophy. A complex perfume of roasted meats, black fruits, spring flowers, charcoal, and spice is followed by a wine of enormous richness (yet it is neither overweight nor heavy). Beautiful freshness permeates the wine’s black fruit flavors and full-bodied power and length. The finish lasts for nearly a minute. (RP) 96+" (08/2009)
Current Bid: $98.66

Bid on this bottle of 2003 Abreu "Thorevilos" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97RP). Wine Advocate: "Like the Madrona Ranch, the 2003 Thorevilos comes from the St. Helena AVA. Co-owned with Ric Forman, this is one of the true first-growth sites in all of California. The dense plum/ruby/purple color is followed by aromas of white acacia flowers, blueberry liqueur, creme de cassis and incense. The wine cuts a slightly deeper, richer, fuller-bodied mouthfeel than even the Madrona, but displays no harshness. Just entering its plateau of full maturity, the wine offers beautiful purity, symmetry and density as well as a subtle hint of new oak. A certain youthfulness suggests it might outlive its sibling, but it is still too early to know. (RP)" (06/2013)
Current Bid: $225.00

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Léoville-Las-Cases, St-Julien (95RP, 94DC, 94JA, 94JS, 94WS, 93ST). Wine Advocate: "The impression is one of a structured wine with considerable density, a ruby/purple color, layers of flavor, and a classic overall personality. The wine exhibits pure black currant, licorice-infused fruit, huge body, a viscous mid-palate, and a long, heady finish. I suspect this wine won’t be nearly as charming as the 2003 in its youth, but it hasn’t yet closed down, and I am amazed at just how rich, intense, and full-bodied it tastes even after bottling. This is certainly one of the half dozen or so candidates for wine of the vintage. (RP)" (04/2005)
Current Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2012 Kistler "Kistler Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Chardonnay (95RP, 94VN, 91WS) and 1-bottle of 2012 Kistler "Vine Hill Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (95RP, 94VN, 93IWR, 92WS). Of the 2012 Kistler "Kistler Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Chardonnay, Wine Advocate writes: "The 2012 Chardonnay Kistler Vineyard exhibits great richness, a fabulous bouquet of white flowers, quince, mango, honeyed peaches, caramelized citrus and delicate, spicy oakiness that is very restrained but present. Broad, full-bodied, multi-dimensional and intense, this is a stunner made from a combination of the Mount Eden and Old Wente clones of Chardonnay. (RP) 95+" (01/2015)
Current Bid: $120.00

Bid on this bottle of 2021 Domaine Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage (98JS, 96DC, (94-96JD)). James Suckling: "An incredibly refined, elegant, floral and silky Hermitage. The nose shows notes of dark cherries, forest berries, sweet spices, forest floor and a hint of roasted meat. Medium-bodied with finely grained tannins. It’s very 2021, with freshness and brightness. Violets caress the palate and the pristine, lively finish with length and a touch of pepper. Drink or hold." (05/2024)
Current Bid: $250.00

Bid on this bottle of 1992 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP). Wine Advocate: "The 1992 Shafer Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select is another killer wine boasting a dense purple color as well as a gorgeous bouquet of crème de cassis, creosote, camphor, licorice, blackberries and subtle background oak, and full-bodied, heady flavors. It is clear that after 1991, the Shafers and Elias Fernandez were entering a dramatic new level of quality as the Hillside Select cuvée had become a world-class effort. This beauty is just becoming fully drinkable and should continue to provide immense enjoyment over the next 20 years. (RP)" (12/2004)
Current Bid: $180.10

Bid on this 11-bottle lot of 2016 Domaine Grand Veneur "Champauvins" Côtes du Rhône-Village. Jeb Dunnuck writes: "One of the finest vintages of this cuvée to date, the 2016 Côtes du Rhône Les Champauvins (70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre) is a brilliant, sexy, medium to full-bodied Côtes du Rhône that offers a spectacular bouquet of garrigue, peppery herbs, pine, and sweet red and black fruits. With beautiful complexity, a layered, seamless texture, notable tannins, and a great finish, it easily competes with any number of more expensive Châteauneuf-du-Papes and Gigondas. It’s great today yet will keep for 7-8 years." (03/2019)
Current Bid: $175.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 MacDonald Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (98DC, 97JD, 95VN). Decanter: "A brooding and reserved bouquet of black and red cherry, rich soil tones, bitter chocolate and hints of potpourri forms the prelude to an ample, textural wine, framed by rich, silky tannins and cool acids. This is Graeme MacDonald's most elegant wine to date, and he has captured all of this great site's authority and power in a wine of effortless grace. (WK)" (05/2017)
Current Bid: $465.00

Bid on this bottle of 2003 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WE, 91W&S). Wine Enthusiast: "Just classic Georges, balanced, elegant and refined, hiding its power under a blanket of controlled finesse. There’s great depth of flavor, with oodles of blackberry, cherry and raspberry, mocha, Chinese plum sauce, soy and spicy oak, wrapped in firm, dry tannins. Just wonderful now, but with the certainty of a long life ahead. *Cellar Selection*" (12/2006)
Current Bid: $105.00

Bid on this bottle of 1983 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94JA, 92VN). Jane Anson: "Bright cherry red, vibrant feel overall. The soft rose petal aromatics needs a little coaxing to come out, then head quickly to blond tobacco, grilled almonds, cold ash, and softly brushed leather. This is utterly charming, silken-spun tannins, delicate and balanced, effortless, similar in character to the stunning inaugural vintage of 1979. So moreish, with mouthwatering grip and saline salty crackers on the finish. A gentle, take-your-time kind of a wine. 15 days skin contact, winemakers Lucien Sionneau and Tim Mondavi." (06/2022)
Current Bid: $275.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Nickel & Nickel "C.C. Ranch" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon. Established in 1997 by Gil Nickel of Far Niente, the winery focuses exclusively on varietal wines from single-vineyard designations. The intention here is to share the diversity of what Napa Valley has to offer, allowing each site to singularly express itself. The winery is also keeping their practices as healthy for the environment as possible: Solar power, net-zero users of electricity, annually producing MORE energy than is consumed, organically grown grapes, replacing conventional company cars with hybrid-engine vehicles, and extensive recycling.Winery notes: "C.C. Ranch is planted on a fine, well-drained, gravelly loam soil made up of a combination of the Bale, Cole and Yolo soil series. "
Current Bid: $145.00

Bid on this bottle of 1985 Giacomo Borgogno Barolo Riserva. Monica Larner writes: "This is a winery in quick evolution and renewal (since it was purchased by the Farinetti family some ten years ago). There are slight stylistic shifts and subtle improvements evident even in the three vintages presented here. Andrea Farinetti and I also tasted Borgogno's newest project, a white wine made with the rare Timorasso grape, from vat. This exciting new wine should be released in 2018."
Current Bid: $142.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Domaine J-F Mugnier Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru "Clos de la Maréchale" ((91-94VN), 92JM, 91JG, 91RP, 90BH). Vinous: "Bright, dark red. Highly aromatic nose combines blackberry, black raspberry, minerals and spices. Sappy and fine-grained; very dry and concentrated, conveying a strong impression of inner-palate energy. Sexy cherry and crushed stone flavors are framed by suave tannins on the very long, aromatic back end. Showing more éclat than it did from barrel a year ago, this wine has turned out very well. (ST)" (03/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 1959 Pichon-Baron, Pauillac (94WS, 92VN). Wine Spectator: "A fleshy, muscular wine, with plenty of power. Dark ruby, with garnet edge, and a nose of roasted coffee and berries. Full-bodied, with an abundance of tannins and good fruit. (JS)" (10/1990)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Ducru-Beaucaillou, St-Julien (95JG, 95JS, 95WE, 94JD, 94TWI, 93DC, 93JA, 93RP, 93WS). Wine Enthusiast: "This is a wine with big tannins and big fruit. You can feel the wood rather than taste it, certainly smell it initially before the black currant aromas kick in. Impressive and sumptuous, it has a solid density that layers with the smoky character of the fruit and wood. Rich and complex, it needs to age. Drink from 2025. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (05/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Domaine Michel Lafarge Volnay 1er Cru "Clos des Chênes" (94JG, (92-94RP), (91-93BH), 92JM, 91ST, 90VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Chenes has a more expressive, mineral-driven bouquet than the Caillerets – so much energy here and that is translated down to the palate that is poised and focused. It is laden with vibrant tart red cherry fruit, boysenberry and mineral, great depth and length and yet so fresh and approachable. This is one of those wines that I suspect will drink early but also repay cellaring. (NM)" (12/2014)

Bid on this bottle of 2001 E. Guigal "La Landonne" Côte-Rôtie (97DC, 97VN, 96ST, 96WS, 95RP). Vinous: "Saturated inky ruby color. Forceful, deeply concentrated nose features remarkably pure aromas of cherry liqueur, fresh blackcurrant, pipe tobacco, truffle, espresso, violet pastille, rose and exotic oak spices. A wine of incredible depth and sweetness, with almost painfully intense dark berry and plum flavors that expand and gain richness as the wine opens in the glass. Sappy and wonderfully long; shows a dense tannic structure but there's so much fruity and spicy intensity that the wine seems downright lush. Exotic Asian spices linger endlessly in the mouth, along with a sweet flavor of creme de mure. (JR)" (01/2006)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Promontory Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 100JD, 100JS, 100RP, 100TWI, 99VN, 98DC, 97JA, 95WS) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple, the 2016 Promontory comes barreling out of the glass with bold scents of black cherries, blueberry pie and licorice, leading to a slowly emerging core of crème de cassis, dark chocolate, black soil and truffles plus touches of cumin seed, mossy bark and beef drippings. The full-bodied palate is densely packed with muscular fruit, backed by a rock-solid structure of very firm, exquisitely ripe, grainy tannins and fantastic tension. The finish is both powerful and beautifully nuanced, hedonic and cerebrally gratifying. This singularly stunning expression of Napa Valley is to be released by the winery in 2021. (LPB)" (01/2021)
