Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2017 Tor Kenward Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP, 91VN). Wine Advocate: "This is the first time TOR has made a barrel selection from their Oakville vineyards, predominantly Tierra Roja in Oakville East. It is composed of barrels selected to reveal the "red-fruited, softer, juicier side of the Tierra Roja vineyard". Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with open-knit notes of warm red and black plums, kirsch and cassis with wafts of bay leaves, tar, underbrush and tilled soil. Medium-bodied, the palate has bold freshness and a firm frame of chewy tannins with a core of evocative, crunchy red and black fruits, finishing long and earthy. (LPB) 92+" (10/2019)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-magnum lot of 1987 Pahlmeyer Caldwell Vineyard Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L). Vinous: Good bright ruby. Superripe aromas of redcurrant, bitter cherry, tobacco, roasted nuts and dried herbs. Juicy, tightly wound and minerally, with a faint medicinal quality. Intensely flavored and still fresh but ungiving; it hard to imagine this wine becoming more pliant with additional bottle aging. Finishes with slightly dry-edged tannins. (ST) (09/2002)
Current Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 1989 St. Clement Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) and 1-bottle of 1993 Trefethen "Estate Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L).
Current Bid: $150.01

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 1988 Staglin Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L).
Current Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 99JS, 98W&S, 97VN, 96WS, 95WE, 94CG). Wine Advocate: "The 2017 Monte Bello is a towering triumph of California Cabernet Sauvignon. The final blend includes 15% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc. The colossal nose reads like a dictionary definition of young Monte Bello, with inky black fruits, fragrant dried herbs, treated leather and a refreshing, breezy lift that continuously bounds from the glass. The palate continues the immense heft and gravitas of the nose, with ample mid-palate richness buttressed by forceful, penetrating and vigorous tannins. The oak integration throughout is remarkable, its edges gently buffed rather than vigorously polished. Overall, this is an incredibly impressive, complex and multifaceted wine that should have no problem aging for five decades. (ML)" (04/2024)
Current Bid: $560.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1994 Dow's Vintage Port (99DC, 97WS, 96RP). Decanter: "This was my pick of the vintage when it was first declared in 1996, and nearly 30 years later I feel fully justified in recommending it again. Retaining its deep colour, opening up to reveal ripe, exotic aromas of gum cistus, eucalypt and mint, so very expressive of the Douro. Ripe, quite powerful and still tight-knit with lovely rich, minty fruit, broad yet firm, tannins rising to a fresh, gripping, opulent finish (especially for Dow in its customary drier style). Now glorious to drink – it should last a lifetime. (RM)" (10/2023)
Current Bid: $245.00

Bid on this magnum of 2011 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (92WS). Wine Spectator: "A fleshy, showy youngster, putting ripe fruit and jazzy oak on display. An impressive 2011 that reverberates with ripe cherry, plum and currant notes that will be at their most appealing early on, as this veers toward dryer tannins on the finish. (JL)" (04/2014)
Current Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Cakebread "Vine Hill Ranch" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It was serendipity that launched Cakebread Cellars. Photographer Jack Cakebread had gone to the Napa Valley to take some pictures for a book, and while he was there he "casually" mentioned owning a vineyard someday to a family friend who owned a ranch in Rutherford. A few hours later that friend called and offered to sell their property. They first vintage was 157 cases of 1973 Chardonnay, and that varietal is still they winery's flagship. Vine Hill Ranch is a site tucked into the most westerly section of the valley on the western edge of Oakville.
Current Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (100DC, 100JS, 100RP, 98VN, 96WS, 95WE, 94W&S). Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Monte Bello is a very special vintage for this great wine. Amazingly, it has yet to shut down, unfurling in the glass to reveal a bouquet of black raspberries, cassis, rich espresso roast, cigar wrapper, subtle black truffle and burning embers that has already integrated its 100% new oak remarkably completely. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, powerful and multidimensional, with a lavishly textural attack that segues into a stunningly layered, richly structured mid-palate endowed with incredible depth and concentration underpinned by succulent acids. The finish is long, vibrant and beautifully delineated. (WK)" (05/2018)
Current Bid: $855.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2023 Aubert "CIX" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((96-98VN)). Vinous: "The 2023 Chardonnay CIX Estate , all Montrachet clone in a cool site, is one of the most complete wines in this range. Aromatically intense, textured and silky, the 2023 CIX brings together all the elements that make these Chardonnays so appealing. Lemon oil, hazelnut, dried flowers and lightly honeyed notes all grace this resonant, expansive Chardonnay. The CIX is often one of my favorite Aubert Chardonnays, as it is once again in 2023. (AG)" (12/2024)
Current Bid: $662.66

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2008 Dom Pérignon Brut Champagne (100JA, 98DC, 98JD, 98JH, 98JM, 98JS, 98VN, 96JG, 96RP, 96WS). Jane Anson: "Easily the best Champagne I had all year, first tasted at a château lunch. I couldn't stop thinking about it, and eventually bought a bottle for my husband's 50th. Just so much power and precision, while still having the delicacy, easy glamour and the most moreish delivery of fresh acidities and fleshy citrus. At it opens, toasted brioche, liqourice root and oyster shall curl out of the glass. Richard Geoffroy cellar master." (06/2021)
Current Bid: $740.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Araujo "Eisele Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 95VN, (93-94JS), 92WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Eisele Vineyard is one of the great wines of the vintage. It brings together gorgeous aromatics, juicy, expressive red fruit and silky tannins. Now seemingly past a period of closure post-bottling, the 2009 looks like a wine that will drink well pretty much throughout its entire life. The 2009 is a totally sexy Cabernet endowed with stunning depth and a rich, enveloping personality. This is pure Araujo and pure Eisele. (AG)" (12/2012)
Current Bid: $180.00

Bid on this magnum of 2018 Diamond Creek "Red Rock Terrace" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (98IWR, 96JS, 96VN, 96WE, 95JG, 95W&S). Int'l Wine Review: "The 2018 Red Rock Terrace Cabernet Sauvignon is another stunning wine from Diamond Creek in this vintage. It instantly begins to impress with its seductive aromatics of ripe black cherries, blackberries and black plums, which are woven together with violets, loam and dusty minerals that round out the aromatics. On the palate this offers an elegant, full-bodied texture with beautifully round, polished tannins that result in a seamless mouthfeel that is plush and layered. (JY)" (07/2021)
Current Bid: $385.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2005 Rubicon Estate "Rubicon" Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (96WE, 95CG, 95RP, 93WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Made from 98% Cabernet Sauvignon, with no Merlot or Cabernet Franc for the first time, the ’05 Rubicon tastes bigger and more impenetrable than any previous vintage. It’s thick and heavy at this time, with furry tannins and undeniably ripe flavors of blackberries, black currants, cherries, violets, chocolate and cedar, and a tang of melted minerals. Desperately needs time in the cellar. Nowhere near ready for at least four years, and that may be conservative.Tasted three times, and better each time, a seriously good sign, and potentially a perfect wine. *Cellar Selection*" (06/2009)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2017 Inglenook "Edizione Pennino" Rutherford Zinfandel.
Current Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Rochioli "River Block" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (95JD, 94RP, 94WE, 92JS, 92VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Another killer wine from Tom Rochioli, the 2016 Pinot Noir River Block was destemmed and saw 15 months in 50% new barrels. Ruby-colored with a heavenly bouquet of spiced cherries, strawberries, forest floor, and graphite, it's medium-bodied, beautifully textured and layered on the palate, with terrific purity. " (06/2018)
Current Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2020 Donum "Three Hills - Single Vineyard" Carneros Pinot Noir (94JS, 91WS). James Suckling: "Enticing and edgy citrus peel and herb aromas alongside currants, cranberries and mushrooms. Cloves and crushed stones, too. It’s well-structured with tight tannins and vibrant acidity. Excellent focus. Drink or hold." (11/2022)
Current Bid: $80.00

Bid on this bottle of 2004 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 92ST). Wine Advocate: "A noble, first-growth quality effort is the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To-Kalon Vineyard (192 cases). Aged in 100% new Taransaud oak, it boasts complex aromas of licorice, toast, creme de cassis, graphite, flowers, and spice. Full-bodied with wonderful opulence, and enough structure, acidity, and tannin to buttress the wealth of fruit and glycerin... (RP)" (12/2006)
Current Bid: $107.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Corison "Sunbasket Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (95JS, 95VN, 94JD, 94JG, 94WS, 93W&S). Vinous: "Cathy Corison's 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Sunbasket Vineyard is just fabulous. Dense, powerful and beautifully layered in the glass, this sumptuous Cabernet fills a very nice middle spot in the Corison range, as it is quite succulent and yet also far more approachable than the Kronos. Soft, curvy contours add to a sense of immediacy and sheer allure. Open-knit and expressive, with all of the radiance that gives this site its name, the 2016 Sunbasket is outrageously delicious, even in the early going. (AG)" (12/2018)
Current Bid: $360.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Giacomo Conterno "Monfortino" Barolo Riserva (100RP, 100VN). Vinous: "Another last minute addition to this tasting, the 2014 Barolo Riserva Monfortino is a preview, as it had not been officially released at the time of this tasting. In fact, guests at this dinner were the very first people to taste the 2014 outside the winery. And in magnum! I am glad they did, because the 2014 has subsequently closed down, at least in magnum. The 2014 spent a year less in barrel (six years instead of seven), but its release date was the same as always, as if it had spent seven years in cask. (AG)" (02/2021)
Current Bid: $1,050.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Turley "The White Coat" San Luis Obispo White Blend. Turley's white Rhone blend, made from 80% Roussanne, 15% Viognier, and 5% Grenache Blanc, is as rare as a white truffle or a white San Francisco Christmas. If you are lucky enough to procure a bottle of this tiny production cult wine, serve it on its own so its fat, glycerol-laden body and honeyed richness can be appreciated without distraction.
Current Bid: $52.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Scarecrow "M. Etain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 94JD, 94RP, 94VN) in original wood. Vinous: "Scarecrow's 2015 M. Etain is plush, rich and inviting, all of which make it an excellent choice for drinking now and over the next few years. Super-ripe red cherry, plum, spice and sweet floral notes all build as this racy, voluptuous wine shows off its alluring personality. Dense and explosive, the M. Etain will also give readers a very good idea of what is in store with Scarecrow. The 2015 is flat-out delicious. If you can find it, don't miss it. (AG)" (03/2018)
Current Bid: $300.00

Bid on this bottle of 2019 Mabon (Hourglass) "GSM" Sonoma County Rhône Blend. Mabon is a creative project from Hourglass Wine Co., founded by Jeff Smith and winemaker Tony Biagi. Inspired by Rhône-style blends, Mabon explores California’s historic vineyards, especially the Hemar Vineyard in Alexander Valley. This site features century-old “mixed black” vines—Zinfandel, Carignane, Petite Sirah, and more—planted in traditional field-blend style.
Starting Bid: $45.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Clos Rougeard "Le Bourg" Saumur-Champigny. This exceptional cult domaine run by brothers Nadi and Charlie Foucault was "discovered" by the late Louis Dressner, who had a knack for finding incredible producers. Methods such as small yields, barrel fermentation, slow and cold barrel aging, and bottling without filtration combine to create these highly sought-after, allocated wines. Famed Chinon winemaker Charles Joguet was once quoted as saying, "There are two suns. One shines outside for everybody. The second shines in the Foucaults' cellar."
Current Bid: $535.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2001 Duckhorn "Three Palms" Napa Valley Merlot (92RP, 92WE), 1-bottle of 2002 Duckhorn "Three Palms" Napa Valley Merlot (93CG, 90ST), and 1-bottle of 2004 Duckhorn "Three Palms Vineyard" Napa Valley Merlot (95CG). Of the 2004 Duckhorn "Three Palms Vineyard" Napa Valley Merlot, Connoisseurs Guide writes: "Traveling a more conventional varietal path than its very well-made but more tightly wound sibling hailing from Howell Mountain, this plush, downright opulent Merlot simply oozes with juicy, optimally ripened black cherry fruit, and its very generous appointment of sweet oak in no way distracts from its grape-driven main message. It is blessed with far more than just another showy display of ripeness and oak, and it is surprisingly well-balanced beneath its baby fat with the structure to hold up and improve for many years. *Three Stars*" (11/2007)
Current Bid: $245.00

(12/2024)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Williams Selyem "Burt Williams' Morning Dew Ranch" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (94ST, 94WE, 90VN, 90W&S). Wine Enthusiast: "Perfumed and strikingly floral, this soft, seductive Pinot is light in color and body, with handsome layerings of strawberry fruit, Asian spice and suggestions of just-unearthed mushrooms or a newly minted Christmas wreath. On the finish, a touch of vanilla-tinged oak rounds things out. (VB)" (04/2014)
Current Bid: $150.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Morlet "Prix du Jury" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. For winemaker Luc Morlet follows a minimal intervention approach. His team meticulously tends to the vines, from soil preparation before planting to canopy management and harvest. The fruit is hand-picked at optimal ripeness. From the winery: "French oak barrels have played a crucial and intimate role in the upbringing of many of the finest wines for thousands of years. Beginning with the inaugural 2012 vintage, each year we gather some of our most passionate collectors to blind taste individual barrels in order to select the most impressive wine of the year. The single prized barrel of this special bottling is a symbol of gratitude toward our best supporters. It is the 'Jury's Prize' or 'Prix du Jury.'"
Current Bid: $225.00

Bid on this bottle of 2019 Case Basse "Soldera" Toscana IGT (98RP, 98VN). Vinous: "The 2019 Sangiovese captivates with an array of exotic spices, dried orange peels, incense, hints of worn leather and radiant black cherries. Lifted, precise, ethereal and weightless yet impactful, it sweeps across the palate, lifted and refined. It features aromas of mineral-laced wild berry fruits, taking on a beguiling savoriness toward the close. Nuances of sour citrus combine with sage and cedar dust over a web of fine-grained tannins. It comes across as a classic, finishing with a pleasantly bitter tinge of clove and a bite of sour citrus. This is pure magic. The 2019 embodies all the best attributes of this fantastic vintage. (EG) 98+" (11/2023)
Current Bid: $610.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Cakebread "Dancing Bear Ranch Vineyard" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 93WE, 92WS, 90JS). Deep garnet-purple in color, it charges out of the gate with bold crème de cassis, blackberry pie and plum preserves scents, followed by touches of star anise, bouquet garni and tar with a waft of crushed rocks. Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2021 Aubert "UV Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (97JS, 96VN, 95WS, 94RP). James Suckling: "Very intense blue fruits with blackberries and hints of licorice. Flowers, too. Some pepper. Full-bodied with lots of bark, mushroom and forest floor. Creamy and polished tannins." (12/2022)
Current Bid: $330.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Domaine Duroche Gevrey-Chambertin "Le Clos" ((89-91RP), (88-90BH)). Wine Advocate: "The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Le Clos is promising, unwinding in the glass with scents of cherries, raspberries, raw cocoa and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with tangy acids and melting tannins, it concludes with a penetrating finish. The 2019 vintage—which began on September 9 at this address—is another terrific success for Pierre Duroché. Volumes are down, with yields averaging around 30 hectoliters per hectare, but quality continues to climb: Supple, dynamic and concentrated, all these 2019s come warmly recommended, but sadly they're increasingly carefully allocated. (WK)" (01/2021)
Current Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Domaine des Comtes Lafon Volnay 1er Cru "Les Santenots du Milieu" (95JM, (92-94BH), 94DC, 94JG, (92-94RP), 93VN). Jasper Morris: "Fine depth of colour. The nose from the start suggests that this is a complete wine. Plums as much as dark raspberries, with its clay based weight, a few tannins but in proportion to the fruit, just the right thread of acidity, a fabulous weighty but balanced Volnay Santenots." (10/2020)
Current Bid: $220.00

Bid on this magnum of 2020 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (97JS, 95JD, 95RP, 93VN, 93WS). James Suckling: "This is a powerful red with blackberry, black olive and a hint of mint. Some brown sugar, too. Full-bodied and dense, with lots of fruit and velvety, plush tannins. Crushed-stone and wet-earth character, too. The higher percentage of merlot (14%) and no cabernet franc makes this unique for Les Pavots." (09/2022)
Current Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2019 Diamond Creek "Volcanic Hill" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99IWR, 99RP). Wine Advocate: "The star of my visit to Diamond Creek was the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Volcanic Hill, which shows awesome purity and length. Vanilla accents blackberry, cassis and plum notes on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is rich and velvety, leading into a tremendously long finish, bursting with classic Cabernet fruit. It could use a few years in the cellar to gain nuance, and it should drink well for two decades or more after that. (JC)" (09/2022)
Current Bid: $824.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2022 Domaine de Montille Bourgogne Rouge ((87-90JM)). Jasper Morris: "One third whole cluster. Fine bright purple. Vinous: "The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Petite Chapelle 1er Cru comes from single parcel just under 0.40 hectares. It has a very detailed, pure bouquet of perfumed red cherry, wild strawberry and violet petal aromas that unfurl in the glass, the two-thirds whole cluster barely discernible. The lightly spiced palate is medium-bodied and well balanced, with a fine line of acidity and a harmonious, silky-smooth finish that lingers in the mouth. This is a gorgeous, refined Gevrey-Chambertin that will give 20–30 years of drinking pleasure. (Drink between 2022-2042) (NM)" (01/2020)
Current Bid: $210.00

Bid on this bottle of 1955 Taylor Vintage Port (96JG, 95VN, 95WE). John Gilman: "Having the 1955 and 1963 Taylors side by side, as we did at this tasting, is a perfect way to build up the patience necessary to keep the ’63 in the cellar, as the absolute apogee of the 1955 serves to amply demonstrate just how much more complexity the 1963 will gain with more bottle age. Aromatically, the 1955 Taylor has fully moved from its black fruity signature of youth into the more transparent, exotic and spice-driven profile of a mature Taylor, but yet retains all of the intensity and vigor on the palate of a strapping vintage port in its prime. " (02/2007)
Current Bid: $550.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2020 Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco (95RP, 94DC, 94WE, 93JD, 93KO, 92JS, 92VN, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2020 Barbaresco boasts an ample set of aromas with wild cherry, blue flower, sweet spice and crushed limestone. As always, the wine paints an exciting and authentic portrait of Nebbiolo, albeit with a little more richness and texture in this vintage. This is especially true in terms of the palate, where the wine offers mid-weight intensity with melting tannins. (ML)" (08/2023)
Current Bid: $196.51

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1990 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac (94WS). Wine Spectator: "Concentrated. Medium-ruby color, with ripe plum, cigar tobacco and smoke aromas. Full-bodied, with chewy tannins and a long finish. Still closed, almost clumsy. Give it time. *Top 100 Wines of 1993* (JS)" (08/2000)
Current Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2018 Luigi Einaudi "Cannubi" Barolo (96KO, 94W&S, 93JS, 93VN, 92WS). Kerin O'Keefe: "Bright garnet red, this has enticing aromas of pressed rose, woodland berry and botanical herb that come to the forefront along with whiffs of spice. Supremely elegant, the full-bodied palate has a weightless finesse, featuring juicy red cherry, raspberry compote and blood orange punctuated by notes of licorice and baking spice alongside polished, silky tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it bright right through to the white almond finish. " (07/2022)
Current Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Il Poggione "Vigna Paganelli" Brunello di Montalcino Riserva (OWC - 98VN, 96RP, 96WS, 95WE, 94JS) in original wood. Vinous: "A beguiling mix of camphor and minty herbs, along with crushed stone, blows off slowly to reveal dark depths of black raspberry, licorice, autumnal spice and worn leather as the 2016 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Vigna Paganelli unfolds in the glass. Its textures are unexpectedly soft and velvety-smooth, coupled with depths of intense red fruits that make an appearance just before a mix of brisk acids and tannins creates a more tactile and youthfully clenching expression toward the finale. (EG)" (11/2021)
Current Bid: $578.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1998 Maison Roche de Bellene Clos de la Roche. About the producer: "Nicolas Potel, after his first steps as winemaker in the family Estate in Volnay, le Domaine de la Pousse d’Or, built up his own negociant brand, Maison Potel-Aviron, in Beaujolais region. In 2005, Nicolas built up his own estate, Domaine de Bellene, in Beaune with 15 hectares of organic vines in Côte de Beaune. In 2008, after the departure from SAS Nicolas Potel company, Nicolas Potel launched his new negociant business called 'Maison Roche de Bellene.' "
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1988 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92VN). Vinous: "This 1988 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a vintage I have not encountered before; I tasted it blind at The Arches at lunch to raise a glass to Harry Gill. I must confess that I initially found the nose a little feral, perhaps with a touch of Brettanomyces. It seems to clarify with aeration with dark, plummy fruit, licorice and peppermint. It just needs a tad more definition. It really comes into its own on the palate, which is quite sweet on the entry. The 1988 shows layers of black fruit laced with orange rind and cassis, with a healthy sprinkling of black pepper at the finish. It coheres beautifully in the glass, and while not quite the heady heights of the late Sixties and early Seventies, this 36-year-old Californian is drinking perfectly. (NM)" (06/2024)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2009 Morlet "Coeur de Vallée - Beckstoffer To Kalon" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97DC, 97TWI, 95RP, 94WS, 93VN) and 1-bottle of 2015 Morlet "Coeur de Vallée" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 96RP, 94VN, 93WS). Of the 2009 Morlet "Coeur de Vallée - Beckstoffer To Kalon" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon, Decanter writes: "In 2009, Luc Morlet's Beckstoffer To Kalon offers a stunning balance of elegance and muscularity. It is the perfect metaphor for a powerful ballet dancer embodying strength and grace. Lovely black cherry and blackcurrant fruit are complemented by sagebrush and tobacco notes. (JC) " (01/2025)

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2016 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Estate" Dry Creek Valley Primitivo, 2-bottles of 2016 Ridge Vineyards "York Creek" Napa Valley Petite Sirah, and 2-bottles of 2017 Ridge Vineyards "Buchignani Ranch" Alexander Valley Zinfandel (93VN, 93WS). Of the 2017 Ridge Vineyards "Buchignani Ranch" Alexander Valley Zinfandel, Vinous writes: "The 2017 Zinfandel Buchignani Ranch is a terrific choice for readers who enjoy wines with a bit of age. Time has softened some of the primary fruit, but also seems to have added weight. Black cherry, incense, tobacco, leather, licorice and cloves. There's quite a bit of Carignane, which probably also explains the wine's richness. Readers should expect a virile, brooding Zinfandel with tons of character. (AG)" (10/2022)
