Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1996 E. Guigal "La Landonne" Côte-Rôtie ((93-95ST), 93RP, 92WS). Int'l Wine Cellar: "Color similar to the Turque. Knockout aromas of sappy cherry, roasted game, fresh blood, dark chocolate and road tar. Hugely rich and chewy, but considerably less evolved than the last two samples, with a rather powerful structure. Explosive back-end flavors build slowly but go on and on. Will be long-lived. (ST)" (01/2000)
Current Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Abreu "Madrona Ranch" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 98VN, 96JD). Vinous: "Abreu’s 2005 Madrona Ranch is just as great. Of course, it shows an entirely different side of Napa Valley, which is exactly why I chose it for this dinner. Inky, savory and earthy, the 2005 is classic Madrona Ranch as interpreted by Abreu and his gifted winemaker Brad Grimes. Two bottles disappeared before I even noticed! (AG)" (02/2023)
Current Bid: $480.00

Bid on this bottle of 1977 Beaulieu Vineyard Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon. In 1900, when Georges de Latour decided to buy a small, four-acre property in the town of Rutherford as a surprise for his wife he, perhaps unwittingly, purchased a piece of Napa Valley history. The land would become the foundation for Beaulieu Vineyard, which survived Prohibition by having one of a handful of contracts to supply churches with sacramental wine. After Prohibition the winery continued to thrive, experimenting with varietals, blends and aging. Under the direction of André Tchelistcheff, the winery fast became one of California's preeminent producers.
Current Bid: $82.00

Bid on this bottle of 1996 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97DC, 94RP). Decanter: "One of the best vintages of the vertical, the fruit feels well defined and bright, the fleshy berry expression is certainly Californian, with notes of coffee bean and smoke, but it is measured and balanced, and comes through as a depth of flavor that is pretty irresistable. One to sink into. 3% Malbec completes the blend. 37 days skin contact, low crop, sunny and warm summer. (JA)" (09/2019)
Current Bid: $335.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2013 Williams Selyem "Bucher Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (94WE, 90BH, 90VN) and 1-bottle of 2017 Williams Selyem "Coastlands Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (96VN, 94JD, 93RP, 91W&S). Of the 2017 Williams Selyem "Coastlands Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, Vinous writes: "The 2017 Pinot Noir Coastlands Vineyard is a wild, exotic wine that captures so much of what makes the Sonoma Coast so fascinating, namely the ability to achieve considerable fruit intensity and richness and moderate alcohol levels. Super-ripe black cherry, blackberry, mint, lavender and dark spice notes infuse a flamboyant, arrestingly beautiful Pinot loaded with personality. Once again, the Coastlands is truly exceptional. Don't miss it. (AG)" (05/2019)
Current Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1999 Latour, Pauillac (94JD, 94RP, 93WS, 92VN). Wine Advocate: "The 1999 Latour doesn't quite dominate the competition the way the 1994 does, but it, too, is a lovely wine, exhibiting notes of blackcurrants, cigar wrapper, rich soil tones and creamy new oak. Medium to full-bodied, deep and impressively concentrated, with velvety tannins, ripe acids and a long, expansive finish, it is showing beautifully today. (WK)" (02/2022)
Current Bid: $729.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2015 Produttori del Barbaresco "Pora" Barbaresco Riserva (95WE, 94DC, 94RP, 94WS, 93VN) and 1-bottle of 2017 Produttori del Barbaresco "Pora" Barbaresco Riserva (94RP, 93VN, 93WS, 92WE). Of the 2015 Produttori del Barbaresco "Pora" Barbaresco Riserva, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Underbrush, wild herb and dark-skinned-berry aromas form the nose along with a whiff of camphor. On the firm, structured palate, tightly knit but noble tannins offset dried Marasca cherry, cranberry, orange zest and star anise. Tense and youthfully austere, it needs a few years to unwind. (KO)" (09/2020)
Current Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Rochioli "Big Hill" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (97RP, 97VN). Vinous: "The 2016 Pinot Noir Big Hill is outrageously beautiful. Soaring aromatics, bright, red/purplish fruit and impossibly fine tannins are some of the many elements that give the 2016 its raciness and finesse. Readers who have access to the 2016 won't want to miss it. The Big Hill emerges from a parcel planted with Calera clone Pinot that Tom Rochioli sourced from Steve Kistler. It is also one of the finest wines I have ever tasted from Tom Rochioli. (AG)" (01/2018)
Current Bid: $205.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 97VN, 95WE, 94WS). Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select displays a deep garnet-purple color, bursting from the glass with scents of blueberry pie, crème de cassis, black cherry compote and chocolate box plus nuances of cedar chest, clove oil, lavender and menthol. The richly fruited, full-bodied palate has a lively skip in its step, featuring gorgeous ripe, velvety tannins and fantastic freshness to support all the spicy black fruit layers, finishing long and perfumed. An absolute triumph! (LPB) 98+" (10/2020)
Current Bid: $215.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Nickel & Nickel "Hayne Vineyard" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon. Nickel & Nickel was begun in Oakville in 1997 by the owners of Far Niente (the similarity of their label is hard to miss). In contrast to Far Niente, Nickel & Nickel is dedicated to producing single-varietal wines from distinct individual vineyards. Each vineyard is farmed and vinified to best illustrate its unique site. In turn, some vineyards are not far apart in distance, but the wines are very different in character. Note from the producer: "The Hayne Vineyard is situated in St. Helena at the base of the Mayacamas Mountains and is well known for its single-vineyard wines from the site. The vines are moderate in size due to the gravelly, loam soils and the vineyard produces small yields. The warm St. Helena temperatures are ideal for producing sweet, jammy fruit and this vineyard tends to be picked at the beginning of harvest each year. Nickel & Nickel produces wine from 9 acres."
Current Bid: $145.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Beaux Frères "Two Legends-Beaux Frères Vineyard" Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir. The Beaux Frères estate vineyard is one of the iconic sites in Willamette Valley. This 30-year-old plot on Ribbon Ridge has done as much as any other property to further define the terroir of both the Ribbon Ridge AVA and the Valley as a whole.
Current Bid: $230.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Ultramarine "Hirsch Vineyard" Rosé Sonoma Coast Sparkling Wine (96VN). Vinous: "The 2019 Rosé Hirsch Vineyard is a fabulous, wonderfully complex, dynamic wine. I don’t know how it will age, but most bottles will be long gone before that is an issue. The Hirsch Rosé, done as a light saignée, hails from Raschen Ridge, one of the best sections of the vineyard and also the source of some of the very best fruit on the entire ranch. Wild, dynamic and super-expressive, the 2019 is so beguiling. The aromatics alone are wild. Those qualities follow through to the palate. Game, dried herbs and a whole range of savory notes emerge with air. There is so much going on here. Dosage is 6 grams per liter. (AG)" (01/2025)
Starting Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2011 Rhys "Skyline Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (94JG, 94ST, 93BH, 93VN, 92RP) and 1-bottle of 2011 Rhys "Skyline Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Syrah (96JG, 94VN, 93RP). Of the 2011 Rhys "Skyline Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Syrah, John Gilman writes: "The 2011 Rhys Syrah from the Skyline Vineyard tips the scales at a robust 13.5% alcohol, which is pretty impressive for the cool 2011 growing season. The wine is absolutely stunning, soaring from the glass in a vibrant blend of black raspberries, smoked meats, a touch of black olive, black pepper, stony soil tones, dark chocolate, a discrete framing of spicy new wood and a smoky topnote. " (08/2014)
Current Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2020 Dr. Loosen Erdener Treppchen Riesling Alte Reben Grosses Gewächs Mosel ((95-96JS), (93-95RP), 93JG). James Suckling: "Extremely intense, anise nose with plenty of yeast, too. Excellent concentration and breathtaking raciness. Everything focused so tightly and that really lifts the energy level. Very exciting, diamond-bright finish." (07/2021)
Current Bid: $215.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Domaine William Fevre Chablis Grand Cru "Les Clos" ((95-97JM), 97WE, 96DC, 96JG, (94-96VN), 95JS, 95RP, 93BH). Wine Enthusiast: "A subtle nose on this wine evokes chalk made moist with ripe Amalfi lemon juiciness. The palate plays these twin notions off each other in a subtle, fresh way, despite the concentration and depth. This wine is cool and zesty at its core but generous and lightfooted at the surface. Allow this to calm down and come forth with its compelling core. (AK)" (12/2020)
Current Bid: $340.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2020 Aubert "Larry Hyde and Sons Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay (96JS, 96RP, 96WS), 1-bottle of 2020 Aubert "Park Avenue" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (95RP, 94JS, 94WS), and 1-bottle of 2020 Aubert "Sugar Shack" Napa Valley Chardonnay (95JS, 95RP, 93WS). Of the 2020 Aubert "Larry Hyde and Sons Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay, Wine Advocate writes: "A cool, late-harvest site relative to Aubert's other sources, the 2020 Chardonnay Larry Hyde & Sons also sees a bit less new French oak (50%). Readers will note that the oak made virtually no impression on me, as the wine bursts with aromas of ripe, honeyed melon, balanced by bright lime notes. Full-bodied, creamy and lush on the palate, this is just a pleasure to drink, finishing long and zesty. (JC)" (12/2022)
Current Bid: $273.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95IWR, 94WS, 92JS). Int'l Wine Review: "The 2013 Caymus 'Special Selection' Cabernet Sauvignon is a memorable wine that shows the concentration of an epic vintage for Napa Cabernet. Initially aromatically subdued, this wine needs a one hour decant before it begins to fully unwind. This intense wine starts with seductive aromatics of black cherry and black plum along with mocha, tar and sagebrush. There are exceedingly deep flavors of anise, crème de cassis, coffee grounds, creosote and blackberry cobbler which resonate through the core. The fruit weight is exceedingly broad and the plush texture coats the mid-palate. This is a massive, masculine Cabernet which will need least another year to fully amalgamate. (OB)" (06/2016)
Current Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Baker & Hamilton (Vine Hill Ranch) Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS, 94DC, 94JD, 94JS, 93VN, 92RP, 92TWI). Wine Spectator: "This is packed with vivid boysenberry, mulberry and black currant fruit that bursts forth with energy, while being held in check by graphite, anise and apple wood notes that lend good underlying tension. Features bramble and warm stone accents on the finish, as the fruit races through. " (08/2022)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2022 Dragonette "Sanford & Benedict Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (95RP, 94VN, 93WS). Wine Advocate: "Beautifully transparent in both site and style, the 2022 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard perfectly captures the understated classicism of this site and views it through Dragonette's elegantly confident winemaking style. A refined, floral, slightly chalky nose introduces a weightlessly rich, silky, graceful palate that takes on more power with aeration but never adds an ounce of weight. The finish is similarly ethereal while retaining its introverted nature, concluding with silty, floating tannins and soft, elegant acidity. (ML)" (10/2024)
Current Bid: $90.00

Bid on this magnum of 2016 Repris "Momtazee" Moon Mountain Bordeaux Blend (1.5L). Antonio Galloni writes: "Proprietor Jim Momtazee is one of the most active stewards of Moon Mountain. Momtazee acquired the Moon Mountain Vineyard in 2011 and subsequently launched his Repris brand here. First developed in the late 1800s, Moon Mountain Vineyard is one of the most visually striking sites in the appellation. The vineyard was known as Glen Ellen Vineyard until Chalone acquired it in the early 1980s. In a desire to avoid conflict with Benziger’s Glen Ellen Winery, Chalone changed the name to Moon Mountain Vineyard, subsequently launched their Carmenet brand and stopped selling fruit to outside wineries.
Current Bid: $226.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2000 Antinori "Pian Delle Vigne" Brunello di Montalcino (91WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Looks good, smells good and tastes good, too. Displays a dark ruby luster, while the nose is full of oak, leather, black cherry, marzipan and citrus peel. And the palate is sweet and rich as it pours on chocolate, liqueur and ultra-mild tannins. (MS)" (07/2005)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Chappellet "Pritchard Hill Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 97VN, 95JS). Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill has a very deep garnet-purple color. To smell the nose is like hearing angels trumpeting at the pearly gates! The most incredible and evocative scents come spilling out of the glass, conjuring notions of freshly crushed black raspberries, wild blueberries, red and black currant compote and raspberry leaves with subtler hints of roses, violets, tilled soil, cigar box and fragrant earth. Medium to full-bodied and achingly graceful in the mouth, the perfumed black and red fruits seemingly dance on the palate with a very firm yet beautifully fine-grained texture and just the right amount of freshness, finishing with epic persistence. Hallelujah - this is perfection!! (LPB)" (10/2018)
Current Bid: $220.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien (100DC, 100WE, 99JS, 99WS, 98RP, 96VN). Wine Enthusiast: "A hugely powerful wine, full of dark, brooding tannins. It's a wine for seriously long-term aging, a sculptural vision of classic Bordeaux structure with with classy, ripe blackberry fruits. It has fresh acidity and an immense full-bodied character, cut through with mineral acidity. A great wine, with great potential. *Top 100 Cellar Selections of 2013, No. 21* (RV)" (03/2013)
Current Bid: $285.00

Bid on this bottle of 1999 Domaine Maume Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru (93RP, (89-91BH)). Wine Advocate: "The 1999 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru is a beautiful and comparatively pure example of the old Domaine Maume style, wafting from the glass with a blaze of rose petal, peony, wild berries, grilled meat and a touch of dried ceps, its floral top notes marrying stylishly with its wilder bass notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, vibrant and intense, with a fine-grained but still melting chassis of tannins, racy acids and a long, sapid finish. (WK)" (01/2018)
Current Bid: $165.00

Bid on this bottle of 1997 Domaine Méo-Camuzet Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Les Chaumes". Wine Spectator: "A soft and easy '97 red, with a loosely knit structure and pretty cherry flavors. Round on the palate, with a moderate finish. (BS)" (09/1999)
Current Bid: $313.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2005 d'Arenberg "The Dead Arm" Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia (95RP, 93VN). Wine Advocate: "D’Arenberg’s most famous wine is its flagship, The Dead Arm Shiraz. The 2005 The Dead Arm Shiraz is sourced from ancient head-pruned vines. It was aged for 22 months in a mix of new and used French and American oak. It is opaque purple/black with an expansive perfume of toast, smoke, spice box, mineral, pencil lead, tar, licorice, blueberry, and blackberry. (JM)" (10/2007)
Current Bid: $269.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 100RP, 99VN, 96WS) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep garnet-purple colored 2019 Scarecrow hits the ground running with bold expressions of crème de cassis, wild blueberries and chocolate-covered cherries plus hints of dried herbs, tilled soil and crushed rocks with a fragrant undercurrent of Indian spices. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is laden with layer upon layer of tightly packed mineral-sparked black fruit flavors, framed by super plush tannins and absolutely seamless freshness, finishing long, long, long. This expression of the venerable J.J. Cohn vineyard—including vines planted in 1945 by John Daniel and dry farmed—is pure magic. (LPB)" (10/2021)
Current Bid: $1,760.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2021 Work Vineyard "Lamya's" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "Darker berries, currants, sweet tobacco, and spicy, chocolaty notes all emerge from the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Lamya's, a round, nicely balanced, opulent Cabernet Sauvignon that has sweet tannins and a good finish. It's not going to make old bones, but it's one of those textured, fruit-forward Napa Cabernets that will drink nicely for 7-8 years." (01/2025)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2005 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (100JA, 100JD, 100JS, 100RP, 100TWI, 100WS, 99VN, 98W&S, 97DC, 97ST, 96WE). Wine Advocate: "The mineral-laced 2005 Haut Brion (56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc) is exquisite. With its elegance and finesse, it is not as powerful as La Mission, but the nobility and complexity of the aromatics, incredible fragrance (subtle smoke and blue, red, and black fruits) that persists in the glass, full-bodied mouthfeel (though very light and delicate on its feet), and incredible length characterize this great Haut-Brion. It is just starting to drink well, and should continue to do so for at least another three decades. It is a tour de force in winemaking, but only 9, 000 cases were produced. (RP)" (06/2015)
Current Bid: $3,001.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2004 Hosanna, Pomerol (94W&S, 93WE, 91WS, 90RP, 90ST). Wine & Spirits: "In 1999 JP Moueix purchased this parcel of what had been Certan-Giraud and renamed it Hosanna. Though neighboring Pétrus, the pleasures of the wine are far more delicate. Floral scents of jasmine and fraises des bois combine with licorice spice as it takes on air, all standing against the blackness of the tannin, earthbound and powerful in its own light-handed way. Both shy and tough, this wine needs ten years from the vintage to begin to show its complexities." (10/2007)
Current Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2003 Lascombes, Margaux (94RP, 91ST, 91WS, 90JS, 90W&S, 90WE). Wine Advocate: "This sumptuous, rich, complex Margaux reveals a fragrant nose of cedarwood, spring flowers, spice box, black currants and earth. Medium to full-bodied with silky tannins and a dense, plum/ruby/purple color... (RP)" (08/2014)
Current Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2003 Pape-Clément, Pessac-Léognan (95RP, 93WS, 92JS, 92ST). Wine Advocate: "This gorgeous, fully mature, complex Pape Clement exhibits notes of smoky tobacco, earth, loamy soil, forest floor, black cherries, plums and cassis. Medium to full-bodied, fresh and lively, the acids have fallen away and the tannins have melted into an opulent, fleshy, classic Bordeaux. Consume it over the next 10-15 years. Bravo! (RP)" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Pétrus, Pomerol (OWC - 100JS, 100RP, 98DC, 98VN, (96-98WE), 97WS, 95JG) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored, the 2010 Petrus opens a little broody, with gentle crushed rocks, cast iron pan and fragrant earth notions giving way to a core plum preserves, baked blueberries, licorice and Black Forest cake plus wafts of pencil shavings, garrigue and violets. Full-bodied, the palate is beautifully poised with a firm line of exquisitely ripe, fine-grained tannins and fantastic freshness bolstering the generous fruit, finishing very long and very, very classy. Collectors fortunate enough to have a few bottles of this vintage are advised to be patient and allow it a further 7-10 years to loosen-up and emerge gloriously from this rock-solid structure. (LPB)" (03/2020)
Current Bid: $3,500.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2004 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac (94RP, 94WE, 92W&S, 90JS, 90TWI, 90WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2004 Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with aromas of rich dark berry fruit, cigar wrapper and loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, with velvety tannins and a seamless, charming profile, it is really beginning to drink with some style. It's one of the wines of the vintage and continues to represent terrific value. (WK)" (02/2022)
Current Bid: $785.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Chapelle d'Ausone, St Emillion (94RP, 94WS, 92ST). Wine Advocate: "The second wine of Ausone, the Chapelle d’Ausone, usually represents about 50% of the production from this tiny historic vineyard. The 2005 has a dense minerality, sweet blueberry and blackberry fruit, and plenty of flowers and crushed rock in a full-bodied, stunningly concentrated style. Amazingly, this second wine is probably better than many of the great Ausones from the 1940s, 50s, 60s, 70s and early 80s! (RP)" (06/2015)
Current Bid: $304.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Domaine de Chevalier Rouge, Pessac-Léognan (97DC, 97JD, 97JS, 97VN, 96JA, 96TWI, 96WE, 96WS). Vinous: "The 2016 Domaine de Chevalier is a thrilling wine. Dense and beautifully layered, the 2016 is also quite a bit richer than it usually is. Cabernet Sauvignon aromatics and structure pulse through the wine. The red-toned fruit is incredibly primary at this stage. Readers should be prepared to cellar the 2016 for at least a handful of years. It has been nothing short of magnificent on the three occasions I have tasted it so far. (AG)" (01/2019)
Current Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 4-magnum lot of 2015 Honig Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (90RP). Wine Advocate: A blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot, 4% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc, the medium garnet-purple colored 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is spicy on the nose with cassis, plums and cedar scents. Medium-bodied and well balanced, it shows nice purity in the mouth with grainy tannins and good length. (LPB) (10/2017)
Current Bid: $230.00

Bid on this bottle of 1982 Mouton-Rothschild, Pauillac (100JD, 100JS, 100RP, 99DC, 99VN, 98WS). Wine Advocate: "The 1982 Mouton Rothschild is drinking brilliantly today, soaring from the glass with aromas of cassis, dark berry fruit, charcoal, pencil shavings, espresso roast and loamy soil. Full-bodied, ample and enveloping, it's a layered, sumptuous wine that's remarkably seamless and complete, with impressive concentration, ripe but lively acids and fine, melting tannins. Long and resonant, this is a great wine that can keep company with the likes of Mouton's 1961, 1959 and 1955. (WK)" (02/2022)
Current Bid: $975.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2021 Quilceda Creek "CVR" Columbia Valley Bordeaux Blend and 1-bottle of 2021 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 98JS, 98RP, 97DC, 96VN, 95WS). Of the 2021 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "The flagship 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (90% from Champoux Vineyard and 10% from Mach One Vineyard) raised all in new barrels. It's slightly deeper hued than the CVR and has a stunning nose of blackcurrants, smoked tobacco, toasted spices, and graphite with a beautiful varietal, herbal undertone that comes through with time in the glass. Deep, rich, full-bodied, and velvety textured, this thrilling Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon will benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age and evolve for two decades. This is unquestionably up with the greatest vintages of this cuvée ever made." (07/2024)
Current Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2020 Hyde de Villaine (HDV) "Hyde Vineyard" Napa Valley Chardonnay (94JS, 93VN). James Suckling: "This shows the ripeness of the vintage, with aromas of dried apples, pineapple, honey and light butterscotch. Full-bodied and very flavorful, with density and depth. A honeycomb-on-toast aftertaste. " (02/2025)
Current Bid: $116.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2019 Stone Edge Farm Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93WE, 92JS, 92RP, 92WS, 91JD). Wine Enthusiast: "This wine is big and fairly tannic, but has a warmth to its ripe black fruit and milk-chocolate flavors so that it's already enjoyable to drink. A full body carries the ripeness into a lingering finish. (JG)" (11/2023)
Current Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2020 Sine Qua Non "Distenta II" Central Coast White Blend (95VN). Vinous: "The 2020 White Wine Distenta II is a rich, deep white. Long élevage of 23 months in wood, on the lees, works beautifully with this fruit. Dried lemon peel, chamomile, sage, mint and white pepper lend nuance throughout, but it is the wine's textural resonance that stands out most. It's one of the finest whites I have tasted from Sine Qua Non in some time. (AG)" (07/2023)
Current Bid: $526.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2003 Kistler Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (93VN), 1-bottle of 2004 Kistler "Kistler Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Chardonnay ((94-96RP), 93VN), and 1-bottle of 2005 Kistler "Kistler Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Chardonnay ((95-98RP), 93VN, 93WS). Of the 2005 Kistler "Kistler Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Chardonnay, Wine Advocate writes: "The 2005 Chardonnay Kistler Vineyard possesses honeysuckle, tangerine, and orange blossom characteristics along with great acidity, plenty of minerality, a greenish hue to its light gold color, and fabulous texture, length, and richness. I suspect there is more honeysuckle in this offering than in some of its peers, but it is flirting with perfection ... it's that compelling. (RP)" (12/2006)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Laurel Glen Sonoma Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (93WE, 92VN). Wine Enthusiast: "This was the final vintage Patrick Campbell fully presided over before selling the winery. It's a dense and compact wine, showing mountain tannins framing black currant, cassis, mineral, violet and new oak flavors. Despite the opulence, the finish is dry. Made from 100% Cabernet, the wine needs time in the cellar. Try it after 2018, and it should be rolling along in the mid-2020s. *Cellar Selection*" (04/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2012 Turley "Judge Bell" Amador Valley Zinfandel (93VN, 92ST, (89-91RP)), 1-bottle of 2012 Turley "Duarte" Contra Costa County Zinfandel (91VN), and 1-bottle of 2013 Turley "Bedrock" Sonoma Valley Zinfandel (94VN, 93RP). Of the 2013 Turley "Bedrock" Sonoma Valley Zinfandel, Vinous writes: "Turley's 2013 Zinfandel Bedrock Vineyard captures all of the depth and intensity that are such signatures of this famed Sonoma Valley site. Even with all of the overtness, the Bedrock retains plenty of salivating acidity as well as a real sense of energy. Hints of tobacco, mint, savory herbs and dried cherries add shades of complexity, but above all else Bedrock is a wine of mid-palate richness and texture, all backed up by significant tannic clout. Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Lewis Cellars "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS) and 1-bottle of 2018 Lewis Cellars "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JD, 94WS). Of the 2014 Lewis Cellars "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Spectator writes: "A mix of harmony, finesse, seductive oak and rich fruit adds up to a delightful mouthful of Cabernet, from the initial aromas of creamy, mocha-scented oak to the structured currant, blackberry and licorice flavors. Ends with a return to the oak theme. (JL)" (05/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2015 Macauley "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((96-98JD), (92-94RP)) and 1-bottle of 2016 Macauley "Stagecoach" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((97-99JD), (92-94RP), 94WS). Of the 2016 Macauley "Stagecoach" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Jeb Dunnuck writes: " Aging in new barrels, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Stagecoach is cut from the same cloth, and offers a touch more exuberance and depth than the 2015. Blueberries, scorched earth, chocolate, violets and loads of minerality all give way to a rich, concentrated 2016 that has fabulous purity and precision, building tannin and a big finish. I'll most likely taste this again from barrel next year, but it's unquestionably going to be a great wine. " (12/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2003 Montrose, St-Estèphe (99JD, 98RP, 97JS, 96ST, 96TWI, 95JA, 95WE, 95WS) and 1-bottle of 2015 Montrose, St-Estèphe (375ml) (98JS, 96IWR, 96WE, 95JA, 95JD, 95TWI, 95VN). Of the 2003 Montrose, St-Estèphe, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "A prodigious beast of a wine that's now starting to shed just a touch of its considerable baby fat, the 2003 Château Montrose is based on 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Petit Verdot. It shows the richness of the vintage with its ripe, opulent core of fruit, yet it freshens up noticeably with time in the glass, offering currants, mulberries, smoked tobacco, minty herbs, and licorice. Full-bodied, deep, and powerful on the palate, it still has classic Bordeaux focus and structure. It's drinking brilliantly today with a decant and has another 20-30 years of prime drinking." Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1971 Franco Fiorina Barbaresco Riserva (92JG). John Gilman: "The 1971 Barbaresco Riserva from Franco Fiorina is another fine example of the vintage, but this wine is a bit more structured and nobly rustic than its counterpart bottled for the Cavalieri del Tartufo. The deep and still slightly youthful nose delivers scents of black cherries, dark berries, curry, gamebirds, road tar and forest floor. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, complex and rock solid at the core, with fine focus, a fair bit of chewy tannin and excellent length and grip on the tangy and promising finish. I know this sounds crazy for a forty-three year-old Barbaresco, but this wine is really not yet ready for primetime drinking and I would not hesitate to give it another five years in the cellar prior to popping it in earnest! (Drink between 2019-2040) 92+" (08/2014)
