Bid on this magnum of 1998 Angélus, St-Emilion (1.5L) (98RP, 96JD, 95VN, 93WS). Wine Advocate: "The 1998 Angélus, a blend of 40% Cabernet Franc and 60% Merlot, is deep garnet colored with a touch of brick. The nose is completely...WOW! It has an incredible array of smoked meats, incense, cigar box and dusty earth notions over a core of baked cherries, dried mulberries, preserved plums and dried roses with wafts of lavender, menthol and new leather. The palate is medium to full-bodied, rich, intense and packed with black fruit preserves accented by complex savory and earth-inspired flavors, supported by wonderful freshness, textured by plush tannins and finishing with fantastic tension. This still has loads of life—25+ more years! (LPB)" (05/2018)
Current Bid: $834.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1995 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac (97DC, 95JS, 95VN, 94RP, 94WS). Decanter: "Still remarkably dark, intense and youthful in appearance, this Mouton shows more flamboyant characters on the nose than other vintages, with spices, cigar-box and blackcurrant leaf all to the fore. Rich, dense and fleshy palate with plenty of stuffing for further ageing. An impressive Mouton which lives up to the ‘star’ billing for the 1995 vintage with nearly all of the components in great balance. (AH)" (09/2021)
Current Bid: $890.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 G.B. Burlotto "Monvigliero" Barolo (98DC, 98VN, 98W&S, 97RP, 97WE). Vinous: "The 2015 Barolo Monvigliero is a wine of pure and total seduction. The warm vintage has filled out the wine's frame beautifully. The interplay of ripe, succulent 2015 fruit and aromatic intensity from the whole clusters yields a positively stunning, breathtaking wine of the very highest level. Once again, Burlotto's Barolo Monvigliero takes a place among the most compelling wines of the vintage. Readers who can find it should not hesitate! (AG)" (02/2019)
Current Bid: $750.00

Of the 2016 Bruno Giacosa Nebbiolo d'Alba, Wine Spectator writes: "This red delivers an appealing cherry fruit component along with licorice, earth and tobacco accents. Chewy tannins emerge on the finish, which echoes the tobacco notes. (BS)" (09/2018)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2002 d'Arenberg "The Dead Arm" Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia (94JH, 93RP, 92WS, 91VN, 91WE). James Halliday: "Clean and quite fragrant; abundant blackberry and dark chocolate fruit; controlled extract and good balance." (10/2004)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Aubert "CIX" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay ((98-100RP), 98JD, 95VN, 94WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Chardonnay CIX Estate is beguiling in its complexity and singularity, offering up scents of smoked nuts, waxed lemons, crushed rocks and coriander seed with hints of crusty bread, honeysuckle, baked peaches and clover honey. Full-bodied, full-on creamy and densely laden with layers of citrus and savory flavors, it has just enough freshness and wonderful length. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Current Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Next of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 8" Central Coast Red Blend (100JD, 98RP, 97VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "I rated the 2014 No 8 Cumulus Vineyard 99 points last year but found this bottle to be literally as good as it gets. Made from 38% Syrah, 33% Grenache, 16% Touriga Nacional and the balance Mourvèdre and Petite Sirah, fermented with 43% whole clusters and aged in close to equal parts new and used French oak, it offers a heavenly bouquet of black raspberries, white chocolate, exotic spices, and graphite. This flows to a full-bodied wine that has off-the-charts purity and elegance, a deep, layered, multi-dimensional texture, not a hard edge to be found, and a finish that won’t quit. The 2014s are upfront and approachable (there’s plenty of similarities to the 2016s) yet this beauty is going to cruise in the cellar on its purity, depth, and balance. It’s a true 'Wow' wine!" (10/2018)
Current Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2022 Kistler "Cuvée Cathleen" Sonoma Valley Chardonnay. 100 points The Wine Independent: "The 2022 Chardonnay Cuvee Cathleen features quiet, soft-spoken scents of fresh yellow apples and apricots to begin, soon unfurling to offer up notes of almond croissant, beeswax, and fresh ginger plus a waft of brine. The medium to full-bodied palate is lively, with a quiet intensity of savory layers and a satiny texture, finishing long and chalky. (LPB)" (06/2024)
Current Bid: $575.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2021 Occidental "Occidental Station Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (98JD, 98TWI, 97RP, 97VN, 94DC, 94WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The magenta-hued 2021 Pinot Noir Occidental Station Vineyard is ripe with notes of black raspberries, fresh violets, dark spices, and sweet herbs. It reveals a good deal of structure and has rich extract while retaining plenty of fresh acidity. Offering a deeper mineral profile of graphite and dark stones as well as a hint of warming earth spice, it’s long and persistent and is going to show its best if cellared another several years. (AF)" (06/2024)
Current Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2017 Cobb "Diane Cobb - Coastlands Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and 1-bottle of 2018 Cobb "Diane Cobb - Coastlands Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (97RP, 95VN). Of the 2018 Cobb "Diane Cobb - Coastlands Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, Wine Advocate writes: "The 2018 Pinot Noir Diane Cobb Coastlands Vineyard comes from vines planted in 1989. Various clones are planted on AXR1 rootstock, including Wadenswil, Pommard and Martini. Despite the rootstock, Ross Cobb notes that the vines are unaffected by phylloxera. "We are very isolated out here, and those old clones are doing fine." Pale ruby, the 2018 offers both power and delicacy. The nose takes time to evolve from tobacco leaves and dusty earth to wild blackberries and cranberries, citrus peel, rose petal and saline. The palate surprises with its fruit intensity and notably silty, seamless frame, finishing uplifted and very spicy. (EB)" (08/2021)
Current Bid: $137.98

Of the 2011 Justin "Isosceles Reserve" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend, Vinous writes: "Opaque ruby. Intense cherry-vanilla and dark berry preserve aromas are complicated by smoky Indian spices and potpourri. Sweet blackberry and cherry compote flavors show superb palate-staining depth, picking up a floral pastille nuance with air. The broad, powerful, very long finish features round tannins and lingering smokiness. (JR)" (09/2015)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2000 Didier Dagueneau "Pur Sang" Pouilly Fumé (93WS). Wine Spectator: "Absolutely glorious. A magnificent Sauvignon Blanc that combines the grape's peach, melon and citrus flavors with beautifully integrated new-oak components of vanilla and nutmeg. Harmonious, creamy and firmly structured, this tastes delicious now, yet should develop over the next few years. (BS)" (07/2002)
Current Bid: $430.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Marqués de Murrieta "Castillo Ygay" Gran Reserva Especial Rioja (99JS, 97DC, 97RP, 97VN, 96W&S, 96WS, 94WE). James Suckling: "A rich and opulent Ygay with ripe fruit, black truffle, nutmeg, spice and earth. It's full and very polished. Big and juicy with lots of tannins but they are integrated and savory. Juicy and flavorful. Round and polished. Chunky and savory at the end. Will age beautifully. " (08/2023)
Current Bid: $215.00

Bid on this bottle of 2021 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 98RP, 98VN, 97WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "Moving to the Grand Vin 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, red wine simply doesn't get any better, and I never cease to be amazed at what winemaker Celia Welch accomplishes with this incredible terroir. Deep ruby/plum-hued, with a kaleidoscope-like array of cr me de cassis, jammy blackberries, spicy oak, graphite, and smoked tobacco, with a kiss of background chocolaty nuances, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a multi-dimensional, layered mouthfeel, ultra-fine tannins, and a flawlessly layered, concentrated, balanced profile that has to be tasted to be believed. Given its wealth of fruit and texture, as well as purity and balance, it already offers pleasure, yet smart money will give bottles 4-6 years in the cellar, count themselves lucky, and enjoy bottles over the following two decades." (12/2023)
Current Bid: $550.00

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot; including 4-bottles of 2020 Linne Calodo "Overthinker" Paso Robles Rhône Blend and 2-bottles of 2021 Linne Calodo "Overthinker" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96VN, 95JD, 95RP, 93JS). Of the 2021 Linne Calodo "Overthinker" Paso Robles Rhône Blend, Vinous writes: "Sweet herbs and cola transform into a more serious blend of incense, dried strawberries and cloves as the 2021 Overthinker dazzles the senses. This is racy and sleek with a beautiful balance of ultra-ripe fruit and cooling acidity as contrasts of crunchy minerals and hints of blood orange amass toward the close. Dramatically long and staining, the entire palate is left drenched in primary concentration as an air of sweet lavender slowly fades. This is a perfectly balanced and utterly stunning blend of 65% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre. (EG)" (06/2024)
Current Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Peter Michael "Point Rouge" Knights Valley Chardonnay (100RP, 94VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Chardonnay Point Rouge is pure pedigree and class, showing all the elegance and seamlessness of a truly top-tier Chardonnay. Opening with tightly furled citrus and spiced apple notes over salty almond, cashew, allspice, anise and ginger, plus wafts of orange blossom and crushed rocks, the medium-bodied palate is wonderfully well poised, with seamless flavor layers intermingled with just enough freshness, finishing long and beautifully perfumed. Wow. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Current Bid: $780.00

Bid on this 3 liter of 2016 Ridge Vineyards "Geyserville" Alexander Valley Zinfandel (3L) (95JD, 95RP, 95VN). Vinous: "The 2016 Zinfandel Geyserville is a powerful, tightly wound wine. Beams of supporting tannin and acidity give the 2016 its distinctly virile, imposing personality. Black cherry, graphite, lavender, and spice are all laced throughout. Deceptively medium in body, the 2016 packs a serious punch. It also needs at least a few years in bottle to settle down, as the tannins are quite imposing, There is a purity to the 2016 that is absolutely striking. (AG)" (08/2018)
Current Bid: $191.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Pride Mountain Napa-Sonoma Counties Merlot (93WE, 90VN). Wine Enthusiast: "Leathery on the tongue, this lovely Merlot, with 7% Cabernet Sauvignon blended in, offers inviting notes of plum and cherry, completely juicy, around firm, strong tannins and balanced acidity. From two separate, rocky blocks on the winery property, this wine is concentrated and smooth. *Cellar Selection* (VB)" (03/2015)
Current Bid: $290.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2019 Tablas Creek "Esprit de Tablas Blanc" Paso Robles White Rhône Blend (95JS, 94DC, 94VN, 94WE, 92RP, 92WS), 1-bottle of 2020 Tablas Creek Paso Robles Grenache Blanc, and 1-bottle of 2020 Tablas Creek Paso Robles Viognier. Of the 2019 Tablas Creek "Esprit de Tablas Blanc" Paso Robles White Rhône Blend, James Suckling writes: "Aromas of peach, thyme and lilies. Medium-bodied with refreshing tannins. Bright acidity, but overall pleasant, mellow presence. Fresh stone fruit and jasmine on the palate. Well balanced with a soft finish. 63% roussanne, 20% grenache blanc, 14% picpoul blanc, 3% picardan. Drink or hold." (11/2021)
Current Bid: $102.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Barnett Vineyards Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP, 91WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon possesses a deep ruby/purple color in addition to classic notes of crème de cassis, blueberries and a hint of that mountain wildflower character that is a part of the Spring Mountain District appellation. Sweet tannins, beautiful ripeness, and a long, textured mouthfeel are found in this beauty. It is one of the finest wines the Barnetts have made since this winery was founded in 1983." (10/2014)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (97JD, 97RP). Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Pinot Noir Marcassin Vineyard, which comes primarily from the Calera clone (although I suspect there are a few mystery clones in their plantings), always seems to remind me of a grand cru from Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, particularly Morey-St.-Denis. Dense ruby/plum, its sweet nose of strawberries, black cherry liqueur, fresh porcini mushrooms and forest floor is followed by a dark, full-bodied, rich and concentrated wine that is supple, dramatic, and even flamboyant. (RP)" (03/2016)
Starting Bid: $235.00

Bid on this bottle of 2011 Giuseppe Rinaldi "Tre Tine" Barolo (95KO, 94WS, 93DC, 93VN, 92RP). The chewy palate offers ripe black cherry, crushed raspberry, cinnamon, white pepper and aromatic herb alongside a backbone of firm, ripe tannins and racy acidity. " (10/2015)
Current Bid: $191.50

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2020 Kosta Browne Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir (94JS, 92DC). James Suckling: "Iron, spice and dark fruit. Black pepper, too. Full and juicy, with lots of spice, asphalt, flowers and earth. Lots going on here. From Les Teurons and Bressandes sites. " (09/2022)
Current Bid: $196.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Realm "Houyi Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 96RP, 94JS, 94WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "From a site on Pritchard Hill farmed by David Abreu, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Houyi Vineyard is another big, opulent beauty that has terrific minerality (I wrote Graves-like in my notes) as well as loads of blackcurrant, smoked earth, graphite, and chocolate aromas and flavors. With a stacked mid-palate, sweet tannin, and an expansive, opulent personality, drink it anytime over the coming two decades. One of the most thrilling tastings I was able to do for this report, these incredible wines from Realm are made by the talented Frenchman, Benoit Touquette. These are true blockbusters, magical wines I wish every reader could taste." (12/2017)
Current Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (98RP, 96VN). Wine Advocate: "Absolutely profound is the 2014 Chardonnay Eastside, from the vineyard owned by well-known viticulturalist and farmer Ulises Valdez and planted with a suitcase Montrachet clone on a low-yielding root stock called Riparia Gloire. Smoky crème brûlée notes intermixed with white peach, nectarine, orange marmalade, honeysuckle and buttered apples all jump from the glass of this great Chardonnay that is Grand cru quality, incredibly pure, dense, and long. (RP)" (10/2016)
Current Bid: $360.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Turley "Hayne Vineyard" Napa Valley Petite Syrah ((93-96VN)). Vinous: "The 2015 Petite Syrah Hayne Vineyard possesses a gorgeous structural spine to balance the intense, inky fruit. Chocolate, plum, spice and succulent red cherry notes abound in this creamy, super-expressive Petite. In 2015, the Hayne is ample, deep and beautifully rendered. (AG)" (12/2016)
Starting Bid: $50.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Margaux, Margaux (100DC, 100JD, 100JS, 99RP, 99VN, 98ST, 98W&S, 98WS). James Suckling: "The 2000 Margaux kicked off a string of great wines. The aromas are spellbinding, with notes of raspberry and strawberry. The palate is incredibly silky yet structured. Impeccable balance." (04/2014)
Current Bid: $936.00

Bid on this magnum of 2019 Kistler "Kistler Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Chardonnay (1.5L) (98IWR, 98JD, 98JS, 96RP, 96VN, 95WS). James Suckling: "A chunky and rather dense chardonnay that is tight and energetic at the same time. Lilacs and flowers. Full-bodied with chewy tannins. Mountain-fruit character. Dry-farmed. Old-school nature to this. One for aging!" (08/2022)
Current Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 96RP, 95DC, 95VN, 94WE, 92WS) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate opens with profound black and red currant cordial notes over an undercurrent of Indian spices, chargrill, scorched earth and bay leaves. Medium-bodied with wonderful intensity and depth in the mouth, it has a firm frame of grainy tannins and compelling freshness, finishing long and layered. (LPB)" (03/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1988 Sociando Mallet, Haut-Médoc (91JG, 91WS). Wine Spectator: "Very pretty chocolate and blackberry character, with a hint of mint. Full-bodied, with soft tannins and a lots of minty, currant flavors. Delicious wine. Hasn't changed. Will improve with age, but delicious now. — '88/'98 Bordeaux blind retrospective (2008). (Web-2009)"
Current Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2017 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (OWC - 98JS, 98RP, 97TWI, 96DC, 95VN, 95WE, 94JD, 94WS) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Cos d'Estournel needs a little coaxing to unfurl, revealing beautiful expressions of preserved plums, boysenberries, blackcurrant pastilles and wild blueberries with hints of Indian spices, menthol, lilacs and mossy tree bark plus a compelling suggestion of iron ore. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a solid backbone of firm, grainy tannins and well-knit freshness supporting the tightly wound blue and black fruits layers, finishing long and fragrant. This wine will need a good 5-7 years in bottle before it begins to blossom and should go on for at least another 40 years. I expect this wine to be a blockbuster of a head-turner when I come back and taste it at 10 years of age! (LPB) 98+" (03/2020)
Starting Bid: $810.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2018 Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils Volnay 1er Cru "Les Caillerets - Ancienne Cuvée Carnot" (OWC - 93JS, 93RP, 91JM, 90BH) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Volnay 1er Cru Les Caillerets Ancienne Cuvée Carnot is showing beautifully from bottle, unwinding in the glass with aromas of cassis, black plums, sweet soil tones and subtle spices. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, it's one of the more tightly wound wines in the range, with powdery structuring tannins, lively acids and a long, penetrating finish. (WK) 93+" (10/2020)
Current Bid: $390.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Smith Haut Lafitte, Pessac-Léognan (100JD, 99DC, 98JA, 98RP, 96WE, 96WS, 95JS, 95VN, 94ST). Jeb Dunnuck: "A tour de force from Pessac-Leognan, the 2010 Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte matches the 2009 in terms of quality but possesses a more dense, powerful, compact style. Absolutely heavenly aromatics of blackcurrants, cassis, smoked tobacco, scorched earth, and truffle all define the aromatics, and it takes air to show at its best today. With full-bodied richness, massive concentration, and building tannins, it's flawless balanced, has an insane level of purity, and incredible length on the finish. This brilliant, brilliant Graves will evolve gracefully for another 40+ years, although it's insanely good today. Don't miss it." (10/2023)
Starting Bid: $290.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Warre's Vintage Port (97W&S, 96DC, 96JS, 96WE, 96WS, (93-95RP), 93VN). Wine & Spirits: "Half of the lot for this wine comes from the Quinta da Cavadinha, Warre’s property on the western bank of the Pinhão River, a relatively cool site facing east. The balance is from Retiro, in the Rio Torto and Telhada, a property in the Douro Superior the Symingtons purchased in 2006. Old-vine mixed plantings make up 40 percent of the blend, lending it the kind of co-fermented complexity that makes this compellingly drinkable, delicious right now, as it will be for at least the next 20 or 30 years. Its graceful, reserved finish lasts with drive, a blend of green olive, blueberry skin, purple and blackberry flavors layered over the scent of roses, esteva, black pepper and the wild Douro scrub. If you’re looking to fall in love with Port, you could start here." (12/2013)
Current Bid: $132.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JS, 97ST, 96RP, 94WE). James Suckling: "Intense aromas of black pepper, blueberry, blackberry, tar, and black licorice. Full bodied, with amazing length and a toned muscular character. This lasts for minutes. Like a world class ballerina. It is held back and beautiful." (04/2011)
Current Bid: $680.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien (100JD, 99JS, 98RP, 98VN, 98WS, 97DC, (95-97WE), 95ST, 95W&S). Jeb Dunnuck: "Still inky hued and not yet in its prime, the 2005 Château Leoville Las Cases is nevertheless jaw dropping good, and certainly a perfect wine in this reviewer’s opinion. Cassis, ripe currants, leather, graphite, crushed stone, and smoke all define the aromatics, and it has a massive, full-bodied profile on the palate as well as the more focused, regal style of the Chateau. There’s no shortage of tannins, it has incredible purity, integrated acidity, and a monster of a finish. It actually has a touch of Latour-like character, and it needs another 4-6 years, if not a decade, to hit prime time, and will have 30 years of longevity. The 2005 is 87% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot and Cabernet Franc, representing only 37% of the total production." (04/2024)
Current Bid: $232.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2020 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (96DC, 95WE, 94JS). Decanter: "Black cherry and mulberry flavours etched with whispers of char and anise extend from nose to finish in this opulent yet elegantly finessed wine. It's powerfully concentrated in fruit but shaded with dusty, earthen tones of baked clay and granite. The palate is luxurious and creamy with a finish fringed with fine-grained, charry tannins. Ready now but should hold further. (ALI)" (01/2024)
Current Bid: $390.00

Bid on this bottle of 2004 Corison "Kronos" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92VN, 91WE, 91WS). Vinous: "Full medium ruby. Primary, high-pitched aromas of blackberry, violet, licorice and cocoa powder are complicated by wilder suggestions of truffle and tobacco. Densely packed but at the same time sharply delineated, boasting terrific mid-palate energy but little in the way of easy sweetness. Finishes with fine, firm tannns and lovely lingering dark fruit flavors. No more backward than the 'regular' 2004 bottling but perhaps a touch riper. (ST) 92+" (06/2015)
Current Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2020 Bond "Matriarch" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 96JS) in original wood. James Suckling: "This is very refined with ultra-fine tannins that run the length of the wine, with a medium body and impressive length, not lacking anything. Purity and focus. Drinkable now with delight, but will age beautifully. " (03/2023)
Current Bid: $479.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Léoville-Barton, St-Julien (97JS, 97RP, 97WS, 96JD, 96VN, 96WE, 95DC). Wine Advocate: "A brilliant young wine, the 2016 Léoville Barton unwinds in the glass with aromas of cassis, dark berries and cigar box mingled with subtle hints of loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, it's seamless and exquisitely balanced, with beautifully refined tannins, bright acids and a long, penetrating finish. Its structural refinement is such that it's far from forbidding to open right now, yet patience will be richly rewarded. (WK)" (08/2022)
Current Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Léoville-Poyferré, St-Julien (98JD, 97CK, 97JA, 96DC, 96RP, 96TWI, 96VN, 96WS, 95JS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The flagship 2019 Château Léoville Poyferré is based on 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, and the balance Petit Verdot. It's one of the bigger, richer wines in the vintage and has a gorgeous, thrilling, full-bodied style as well as notes of crème de cassis, tobacco leaf, violets, and chocolate. While many estates seem to be playing it safe and focusing on so-called elegance and balance, I love that Poyferré continues to make a ripe, sexy, beautifully textured wine that always offers more opulence and sexiness than most in the vintage. Ranking with the crème de la crème of the vintage, this gorgeous Poyferré can be enjoyed any time over the coming 40-50 years. Bravo!" (04/2022)
Current Bid: $311.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 E. Pira Chiara Boschis "Cannubi" Barolo (99JS, 95RP, 95WS). James Suckling: "Impressive roses and finely ground spices with a bright red-cherry core, as well as a fresh wild-herb thread. The sense of focus and purity here is stunning. The palate has a deeply juicy and fresh core of tightly knit tannins that carry immense power with impeccable balance. Elegantly executed wine with profound length. Try from 2025." (01/2019)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2021 Colgin "Tychson Hill Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 100RP, 99JS, 98VN) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "Supremely rich and concentrated, Colgin's 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill Vineyard nevertheless remains vibrant and energetic. Hints of bay leaf perk up scents of dark chocolate and black cherries on the nose, while the full-bodied, plushly textured palate glides easily into a prolonged finish redolent of loamy earth and red raspberries. Like so many of the world's greatest wines, it's a series of seeming paradoxes—in this case, ripeness and freshness, fruit and earth, density and vibrancy—that complement each other and emerge as an elegant, harmonious whole. Floral notes, too. It’s full-bodied, creamy and oily. So balanced and restrained, yet dense and impressive. Minerally. Give this time. Try after 2022, but already fantastic." (12/2020)

Incredible blue fruits, redcurrants, liquid violets, dark chocolate, and scorched earth all emerge on the nose, and it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a seamless, flawlessly balanced mouthfeel, beautiful tannins, and the purity, focus, and elegance paired with incredible levels of concentration that define the greatest wines of the 2021 vintage.
