Bid on this bottle of 2008 Schrader "Beckstoffer To Kalon" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 98WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Schrader, which comes from Clones 4, 6 and 337, is slightly more structured and perhaps not as velvety as the CCS or RBS. Again, blue fruits, black fruits, camphor, charcoal and burning ember characteristics are presented in a full-bodied, powerful style that balances intensity with elegance and an uncanny equilibrium. This is another stunning wine that should benefit from 4-5 years of cellaring and keep for 25-30+ years. (RP) 98+" (12/2010)
Current Bid: $225.00

Bid on this bottle of 1988 Latour, Pauillac (96WS, 93VN, 92RP). Wine Spectator: "So minty, with loads of subtle ripe fruit and eucalyptus undertones. Full-bodied, with ultrafine tannins and a long, long finish. Caresses every inch of the palate. It's the quality of the tannins that's impressive here. What a great and beautiful wine. Should improve for many years to come. (JS)" (06/2009)
Current Bid: $350.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Tor Kenward "Durell Vineyard" Wente Clone Chardonnay ((92-94RP), 93ST, 91WS). 93 points Stephen Tanzer: "(Tor Kenward is now making all of his chardonnays entirely with Wente clones): Pale yellow. Sexy aromas of nectarine, lemon oil, flinty minerality, butterscotch and smoky lees. Supple and intense, with complex savory and musky qualities to the nectarine and honey flavors. Very concentrated, juicy wine with excellent length." (May/June 11) 92-94 points Robert Parker: "The 2009 Tor Chardonnay Durell Vineyard exhibits aromas and flavors of honeysuckle, unbuttered popcorn, crushed rocks, tangerines and white currants presented in a full-bodied, wonderfully perfumed, complex style. The wine reveals impressive fruit levels as well as a blossoming complexity. It should drink well for at least 5-6 years." (12/10)
Current Bid: $29.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2022 Sine Qua Non "Distenta IV" Central Coast White Blend. Composed of 33% Chardonnay, 27% Viognier, 24% Gelber Muskateller, 12% Roussanne, and 4% Petit Manseng.
Current Bid: $510.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2021 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100DC, 100JS, 100VN, (96-98JD), 98TWI) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the most brooding, explosive young wines I have ever tasted here. The natural concentration of this drought vintage comes through loud and clear. Huge, youthful tannins reinforce the wine’s potent feel. Waves of graphite, leather, licorice, grilled herbs and lavender saturate the palate, perfectly playing off a core of intense dark fruit. I usually have no issue drinking these wines on the younger side, but the 2021 really does need time. (AG)" (07/2024)
Current Bid: $5,545.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 DRC Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Grands Echézeaux Grand Cru (97JM, 96DC, 95BH, 94RP, (92-94VN)). Jasper Morris: "The purple colour is even more concentrated here. Heady, densely wound fruit, a greater suppleness than the Echezeaux, more flesh on the bones, sumptuous dense black fruit notes, brought back to base camp by the freshness of the finish. The lightest dusting of cocoa powder which was less evident on the Echezeaux. The pinpoint pricks of fresh mineral acidity do this wine a world of good. Perfect harmony!" (11/2020)
Current Bid: $2,102.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Boich Family "Perennius" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98RP). Wine Advocate: "There are just 100 cases of the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Perennius—the equivalent of four barrels—mostly selected from the To Kalon and Missouri Hopper vineyards, plus a half barrel from the Wall Road Vineyard. Floral nuances appear on the nose alongside hints of sage and bacon, plus oodles of black cherries and cassis. Full-bodied, this is rich, velvety and long on the finish, truly a great wine. (JC)" (06/2023)
Current Bid: $460.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Colgin "Tychson Hill" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 100JD, 100RP, 99JS, 98VN, 96WS) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "This is the first vintage with fruit from Josephine’s Hill included. This 2.38-acre north-facing hillside vineyard seems to have this incredible ability to retain all its flavor nuances with extended hang-time. By comparison, the rest of the Tychson Hill vineyard is planted to a gentler slope. Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Tychson Hill Vineyard has gorgeous floral notions of lilacs, lavender and roses with sandalwood and cinnamon stick sparks over a core of cassis, blackberry pie, kirsch and redcurrant jelly plus a waft of cigar boxes. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Current Bid: $1,125.00

Bid on this bottle of 2019 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94WS). Wine Spectator: "Flashy, with boysenberry and mulberry pâte de fruit notes that roll through, throwing off licorice snap and açaí berry notes as well. Ends with a high-gloss toasty finish, but the fruit pushes through easily as apple wood and mint notes add range. For fans of the bold style. Drink now through 2040. (JM)" (11/2024)
Current Bid: $125.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Bevan "Wildfoote - Vixen Block" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 96VN, 94WS). Wine Advocate: "From a vineyard owned by Screaming Eagle’s former proprietress, Jean Phillips, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Vixen Block Wildfoote is all Cabernet Sauvignon from clone 7, aged in equal parts new Taransaud and new Darnajou. An amazing wine, opaque purple in color, with sweet cedar wood, Christmas fruitcake, blackberry and cassis as well as some charcoal and incense, this fabulous wine is super-rich and capable of 30 years of further evolution. (RP) 97+" (10/2015)
Current Bid: $135.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Carter "Weitz Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 95WS, 93VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Weitz Vineyard is a showy, forward, delicious effort in keeping with the luxurious nature of the 2012 vintage. The tannins are ripe, and the wine shows lots of blue and black fruits as well as a full-bodied, opulent mouthfeel. While it is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, it is reminiscent of a great Pomerol given its succulence and lushness. Enjoy it over the next 10-15 years. (RP)" (10/2014)
Current Bid: $85.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Diamond Creek "Volcanic Hill" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94W&S, 94WE). Wine Advocate: "The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Volcanic Hill is the most primordial, concentrated, masculine and meaty wine of this trio. It possesses surreal concentration as well as a stunningly opaque ruby/purple color, and wonderfully sweet tannin. Its layers of concentration and richness eclipse the more elegant, perfumed Gravelly Meadow and more solidly constructed Red Rock Terrace. Like its siblings, it remains ten years away from full maturity. (RP)" (04/2014)
Current Bid: $412.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Pichon-Baron, Pauillac (100WE, 99DC, 97JD, 97JS, 97VN, 97WS, 96JA, 96RP). Wine Enthusiast: "This great estate in southern Pauillac, facing the Latour vineyard, is at the top of its game. In this release, the tannins are as impressive and dense as the black fruits. Together they form a harmonious ensemble, richly structured, concentrated from themany old vines in the blend, and very ageworthy. Drink from 2027. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (03/2021)
Current Bid: $170.00

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Hoopes "Dante's Block" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (93JS). James Suckling: "Shows the brightness and energy of the 2014 vintage with blackberry, hints of rose petal and black tea character. Full body, polished tannins and a focused finish. Hand-crafted. Drink or hold." (07/2017)
Current Bid: $90.00

Of the 2012 Aldo Conterno "Romirasco" Barolo, James Suckling writes: "Very earthy and intense with ripe fruit and hints of bark and mushrooms. Full body, powerful and chewy. Great tannin structure. Better in 2020." (03/2016)
Current Bid: $182.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Antinori "Tignanello" Toscana (97KO, 96JS, 96RP, 95DC, 95VN, 93WS). Kerin O'Keefe: "Cassis, menthol, blue flower and pipe tobacco aromas shape the nose on this gorgeous red. A blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, the delicious, elegantly structured palate delivers dried black cherry, mature blackberry, licorice and vanilla framed in taut, fine-grained tannins." (02/2021)
Current Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Domaine Ostertag Muenchberg Grand Cru Riesling Alsace (Biodynamic) (98JS, 97RP). James Suckling: "This is such a dense yet energetic white with sliced peach, flint and stone character. Medium to full body, solid palate and a fresh, vivid finish. Made from organically grown grapes. Demeter approved. *Top 100 of 2017*" (11/2017)
Current Bid: $164.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 1997 Bruno Giacosa "Rabaja" Barbaresco (96RP, 91ST). Wine Advocate: "Giacosa's 1997 Barbaresco Rabaja boasts a fabulous nose of caramel, soy, herbs, black cherries, plums, and kirsch. Dense and full-bodied, with a spectacular, silky texture, gobs of glycerin, and a layered, multidimensional palate, it is immensely satisfying from both hedonistic and intellectual perspectives. (RP)" (06/2001)
Current Bid: $703.00

Bid on this 3 liter of 2007 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (3L) (OWC - 100RP, 97WE, 95VN) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "Deep purple-black colored, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select exudes beautiful notions of violets, dark chocolate, black olives, spice cake and cedar chest with a core of crème de cassis, blackberry pie, plum preserves and fragrant earth plus a waft of unsmoked cigars. Full-bodied, super concentrated and jam-packed with multilayered black and blue fruits, it has a rock-solid frame of grainy tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing long with tons of exotic spice and savory sparks. (LPB)" (08/2018)
Starting Bid: $1,450.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Saxum "Bone Rock - James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Syrah (96RP, 94WE, 93VN). Wine Advocate: "More sweet, ripe and up-front, with a downright sexy profile, the 2003 James Berry Vineyard Bone Rock checks in as a blend of 88% Syrah, 8% Grenache and 4% Mourvedre. From a hot vintage and a time when producers were pushing on the ripeness scale, this blockbuster pulls it off in style and offers up loads of sweet blackberry and kirsch fruit, dried flowers, incense, garrigue and licorice-like aromas and flavors. Showing tons of sweet fruit on the palate, with full-bodied richness and depth, sweet tannin and a great finish, it’s made in an unabashedly pedal-to-the-metal style that won’t appeal to everyone, but I’m a fan. (JD)" (07/2014)
Current Bid: $170.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Sine Qua Non "Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Central Coast Syrah (100JD, 100RP, 100TWI, 98VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Syrah Eleven Confessions Vineyard is slow to unfold but stunning once it opens, featuring layered aromas of cassis, coffee beans, garrigue and cracked pepper before segueing to soaring floral perfume. A blend of 82% Syrah, 10.6% Grenache, 5.3% Petite Sirah and 2.1% Viognier, it's made entirely of estate fruit. It was fermented with 28% whole clusters and matured about 38 months in 50% new French oak. It has an opaque ruby-purple in color, and the palate is full-bodied, powerful and seamless, boasting powdery tannins and integrated acidity. It has a concentrated core of floral fruit and a tremendously long finish. It was bottled on December 15, 2021, and tasted May 24, 2022. 978 cases and 276 magnums will be released in the fall of 2022. (EB)" (05/2022)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2016 Barnett Spring Mountain District Merlot (92VN, 91WS). Vinous: "A wine of real distinction, the 2016 Merlot is perfumed, savory and super-expressive. Mint, lavender, blueberry fruit, licorice and floral notes are all nicely woven together in this very pretty, gracious Merlot. Medium in body, fragrant and light on its feet, the 2016 has so much to offer. All the elements simply fall into place in a wine that conveys plenty of mountain character. (AG)" (12/2018)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (97VN, 95RP, 94JS, 94WS). Vinous: "Bright and energetic, with soaring aromatics, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Les Pavots is utterly captivating from the first taste. A rush of blackberry, crushed rocks, graphite, rose petal, mint, lavender and blue/purplish fruit builds in the glass. All the pedigree of Knights Valley is on display. The 2017 is 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc, 14% Merlot and 7% Petit Verdot. It spent 18 months in Taransaud and Darnajou barrels. The team opted to bulk out 40% of the wine, so production is down sharply. The wine that was bottled, well, it's pretty special. (AG)" (04/2020)
Current Bid: $340.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 B Cellars "Beckstoffer To-Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((94-96RP)). Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard offers up classic notes of Christmas fruitcake, baking spices, crème de cassis, forest floor and a hint of tobacco leaf. With multiple dimensions, a full-bodied, majestic mouthfeel and a terrific, long finish, this beauty’s purity and richness disguise whatever oak was used by B Cellars. It should provide plenty of pleasure over the next 15-20 years. (RP)" (10/2014)
Current Bid: $230.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (100JD, 100RP, 98JS, 97WS). Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet colored, the 2009 Cos d'Estournel features a myriad of wonderfully intense notes, including blackcurrant pastilles, redcurrant jelly, kirsch and blueberry compote with hints of rose hip tea, sautéed herbs, underbrush, pencil shavings and Indian spices. Current Bid: $230.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Petits Monts" ((90-92BH)). Burghound: "An ultra-spicy nose is comprised by essence of plum liqueur, violet, lavender and once again moderate wood influence. There is excellent richness to the velvet-textured and mineral-driven medium-bodied flavors that coat the mouth with sappy dry extract on the tautly muscular and notably powerful finish. Petits Monts can alternate between a wine of refinement and finesse, or be like a mini Richebourg; in 2015 this is like a smaller version of the domaine's Richebourg. (Drink starting 2025)" (01/2017)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Corison "Kronos Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN, 97DC, 97WE, 96JG, 96WS, 94JD, 94RP). Vinous: "he 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Kronos Vineyard is very clearly one of the wines of the vintage. One of the things I love about the 2019 is the way it conveys power and density, but without weight. In that sense, it is perhaps atypical for Napa Valley Cabernets in this vintage. Even so, I find the sense of beauty here absolutely beguiling. The 2019 Kronos is an absolutely stunning wine. I could describe the aromas and flavors, but that seems pretty banal for a wine that is so clearly towering in its splendor. Don’t miss it! (AG)" (10/2021)
Current Bid: $391.00

Of the 2016 Failla "Estate Vineyard" Fort Ross-Seaview Pinot Noir, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "From the southern end of the Fort Ross-Seaview appellation (on the same ridge as Hirsch Vineyard), the 2016 Pinot Noir Estate Vineyard comes from vines planted in 2002. It’s a beautiful, elegant, and perfumed Pinot Noir that gives up lots of wild strawberry and raspberry fruits, notes of rose petals and exotic spices, medium-bodied richness, and an incredible elegance and finesse-driven texture. Of the 2006 Littorai "Hirsch Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, Int'l Wine Cellar writes: "Medium red with an amber edge. High-toned aromas of cherry, raspberry and spice. Juicy, spicy flavors of red berries, cherry skin, rose petal and licorice. Good chewy extract here. A clean, fresh wine with considerably more grip and lift than the Savoy. Finishes broad and long, with fine tannins. (ST)" (05/2008)

These were the first vineyard planting in the hills of Sebastopol, and at 900', it is one of the highest vineyards in Sonoma County. In 2005 Rick Davis has been the winemaker." (10/2022)

Of the 2011 Kistler "Hudson Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay, Vinous writes: "Smoke, butter, pastry, hazelnut and dried pears open up in the 2011 Chardonnay Hudson Vineyard. A rich, enveloping Chardonnay, the Hudson wraps around the palate with gorgeous depth and pure resonance. Here the flavors are warm, open and inviting. (AG)" (02/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2012 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Cask 23" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95DC, 93WE, 93WS), 1-bottle of 2012 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Chase Creek" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and 1-bottle of 2012 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Fay - Farewell to Vines" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Of the 2012 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Cask 23" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Advocate writes: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Cask 23 reveals more oak on the nose, but is a much deeper, richer, fuller wine than the S.L.V. Dense ruby/purple to the rim, beautiful blackberry and cassis fruit, cedar wood, toast and earth jump from the glass. Full-bodied and layered, but with nothing out of balance, this is probably the strongest Cask 23 since the glory years of the mid-80s. (RP)" (12/2015)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Domenico Clerico "Percristina" Barolo (97RP, 97VN). Vinous: "Good deep red. Knockout nose combines red fruits, rose petal, brown spices and camphor, with a slight medicinal reserve. Pure, silky and sweet, offering incredible subtle intensity of flavor. This coats every millimeter of the palate without leaving any impression of weight, thanks to a steely spine that gives it great energy and snap. Wonderfully juicy, imploded wine with a broad, suave, extremely long finish. The locals prize the 2001 version of this wine (rated 95+?), but I give the edge to this vintage for its sheer verve. (ST)" (12/2009)
Current Bid: $340.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 Sea Smoke "Ten" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (94WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Baked cranberry, cherry, clove, vanilla bean and mossy earth show on the nose of this always much anticipated bottling from the region's first cult producer. The palate is tangy with rounded black-plum, star anise and black-peppercorn flavors. It's excellent now, but those tart elements will find more integration with patience. *Cellar Selection* (MK)" (10/2018)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Cakebread "Benchland" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JD, 94RP). Stains the palate with blackberry, cherry liqueur and vanilla flavors that are enlivened by juicy acidity and a jolt of smoky minerals. The mineral quality adds lift and bite to the broad, dark-fruit-dominated finish, which clings with superb energy, smooth, slow-building tannins and impressive persistence. (JR)" (11/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Turnbull "Amoenus" Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 93WS) and 2-bottles of 2015 Turnbull "Amoenus" Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN, 94RP, 92WS). Of the 2015 Turnbull "Amoenus" Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon, Vinous writes: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Amoenus from Turnbull's estate vineyard in Calistoga, is fabulous. Exuberant fruit and striking mid-palate richness give the wine much of its immediacy and sheer appeal. Today, the 2015 is naturally very primary, but it is both hugely delicious and promising. Lavender, licorice, black cherry, crème de cassis and plum explode onto the dramatic, baritone-inflected finish. What a gorgeous wine this is. (AG) 95+" (09/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Nickel & Nickel "Branding Iron" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. Founded in 1997 by the partners of Far Niente, Nickel & Nickel produces 100% varietal, single-vineyard wines. Note from the producer: "Named for the branding iron owned by the proprietor, the 8.5-acre Branding Iron Vineyard lies in western Oakville, close to the base of the Mayacamas Mountains. The vineyard is comprised of well-drained clay loam and the vines are vertically trellised to maximize sunlight and open the canopy. The area’s warm climate and sun exposure in both the morning and afternoon are perfect for slowly ripening the fruit, which often benefits from a long hang time. "

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2018 Orin Swift "Palermo" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP, 91DC). Wine Advocate: "Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Palermo gives up gregarious scents of kirsch, Black Forest cake and warm cassis with hints of dried mint, dark chocolate and rose hip tea plus a waft of unsmoked cigars. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is packed with ripe black berry layers, framed by velvety tannins and a lively line, finishing long and fragrant. (LPB)" (02/2021)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Kistler "Kistler Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (94RP, 94VN). Vinous: "The 2011 Pinot Noir Kistler Vineyard is floral, lifted and absolutely impeccable. Freshly cut roses, sweet red berries and mint meld together in a supple, gracious Pinot with tons of appeal and pure nuance. Subtle hints of earthiness and game add complexity, but it is the wine's fruit that shines most brightly in this perfumed, beautifully expressive Pinot Noir. This parcel is mostly Calera clone Pinot. Bid on this bottle of 2017 Petrolo "Galatrona" Toscana (97JS, 95RP, 94VN, 94W&S). James Suckling: "This is incredibly fresh for a 2017 with a well-executed, reductive edge; it opens with rosemary, thyme and tea leaves, before moving through blackcurrants, dark cherries, brambleberries, ash, tobacco and citrus. Dense, full-bodied and very chewy, this remains incredulously fine and elegant. Robust and enveloping tannins coat the mouth and mold the wild fruit into a sleek, pliable package. Finally, a string of refreshing acidity lifts the finish long and complex." (07/2019)
