Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Lucien Le Moine Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru ((94-97VN), (93-95BH)). Vinous: "Medium red. Noble, cool aromas of black raspberry, blood orange, rose petal and crushed rock. Pristine, penetrating and youthfully imploded, conveying great urgency and a high pitch to its bracing flavors of red cherry, red berries, flowers and spices. Communicates a strong impression of dry extract but comes across as virtually weightless. Finishing with outstanding rising length and finesse, this aristocratic wine should evolve in bottle for a long time. Stunning and classic. (ST)" (01/2016)
Current Bid: $726.01

Bid on this bottle of 1996 d'Yquem, Sauternes (97TWI, 96WS, 95RP). The Wine Independent: "The 1996 Yquem is pale to medium amber in color. Spritely scents of orange blossom, honeysuckle, and pineapple upside-down cake jump from the nose, giving way to hints of green mango, lime cordial, and powdered ginger. The palate is relatively savory and energetic, delivering bright citrus and tropical fruit flavors, with a racy backbone, finishing gracefully, beautifully poised, with a lingering perfume. The residual sugar is 122 grams per liter. (LPB)" (09/2023)
Current Bid: $254.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Palmer, Margaux (99JD, 98JS, 98WE, 97JA, 97RP, 96VN, 95ST, 95WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2009 Palmer is unquestionably one of the greatest young Bordeaux I’ve tasted, and it has a rare mix of richness and elegance that’s incredible. Blackcurrants, violets, lead pencil shavings and a touch of minerality all emerge from this rich, massively concentrated Margaux that still glides across the palate with no sense of weight or heaviness. It’s perfectly balanced, has a ripe, hedonistic core of fruit, as well as integrated acidity. It’s a dream today, but is going to have 30-40 years or more of prime drinking." (11/2017)
Current Bid: $1,025.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2020 Quintodecimo "Jaune d'Arles" Greco di Tufo. Monica Larner writes: "At Quintodecimo, the winemaking philosophy is simple. The best vineyard sites are selected for each individual wine. Great care is taken to understand soils, exposures and microclimates. And nothing is taken for granted."
Current Bid: $123.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Riise "Peace" Paso Robles Rhone Blend (95JD, 93RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2019 Syrah Based Blend is 75% Syrah and the rest a mix of Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 26 months in 70% new barrels. Blackberries, peppery herbs, graphite, and some spicy wood notes all define the bouquet, and this beauty is full-bodied, with a plush, sexy texture, ripe yet substantial tannins, and a great finish. Give it a few years and enjoy over the following decade or more. It's a classic, ripe, yet perfectly balanced Paso Robles Syrah." (09/2022)
Current Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Saxum "Broken Stones" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (99JD, 97JS, 97VN, 97WS, 96RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The more Syrah-dominated 2019 Broken Stones (60% Syrah, 20% Graciano, 11% Mourvèdre, and the rest Grenache and Carignan) sports a deep purple hue as well as incredible black fruits and notes of ground pepper, smoked game, scorched earth, and truffle." (09/2021)
Current Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2019 Mayacamas Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (97VN, 96JD, 96TWI, 96WS, 95JS, 95W&S). Vinous: "The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a pretty rich, bombastic wine, especially for Mayacamas. A blast of dark fruit, incense, tobacco, licorice, spice and mocha hits the palate. I would give the 2019 at least a few years in bottle to settle down, as it is quite the powerhouse today. This is an unusually flamboyant wine with plenty of richness and a bit less in the way of subtlety. The opulence of the vintage comes through loud and clear. (AG)" (10/2022)
Current Bid: $675.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Sine Qua Non "Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Central Coast Syrah (100TWI, 99JD, 99RP, 99VN). The Wine Independent: "The 2019 Eleven Confessions Vineyard Syrah is deep garnet-black in color. A mushroom cloud of exotic spices and incense erupts from the glass, leading to a core of plum preserves and blueberry pie, plus suggestions of dark chocolate, black truffles, mossy tree bark, and iron ore. The full-bodied palate is densely packed yet remarkably fresh and bright, delivering a solid backbone of fine-grained tannins, finishing on a lingering ferrous note. I love the juxtaposition between power and vibrancy here! The blend is 82% Syrah, 13.1 % Grenache, and 3.3% Petite Sirah, with splashes of Viognier and Gelber Muskateller (a white grape - Muscat Blanc à Petit Grains), all coming from the Krankls' Eleven Confessions vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills. (LPB)" (08/2023)
Current Bid: $420.00

Bid on this magnum of 2016 Kinsman Eades "Rhadamanthus" Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 97VN, 94WS) in original wood. Vinous: "Kinsman's 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Rhadamanthus Diamond Mountain District has really grown over the course of its barrel aging. Powerful and explosive, with tremendous concentration, the 2016 is all class. Inky dark fruit, lavender, spice, game and a host of savory/mineral inflections abound. The 2016 is a wine of magnificent intensity and pure power. Surprisingly, it may still have room to grow! (AG)" (12/2018)
Current Bid: $750.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JD, 95VN). Vinous: "A total knock-out, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate captures all the potential of this great site. Powerful, voluptuous and structured, yet very much within the context of classicism that has defined these wines for several decades. Dark red cherry, stone fruits, smoke, licorice and scorched earth, along with beams of tannin, wrap around the palate. Deep, virile and explosive, the 2014 is a must have. Don't miss it! (AG) 95+" (12/2016)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Vietti "Rocche" Barolo (96RP, 93JS, 93VN, 93WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Barolo Rocche is a solid, unwavering expression that brings the intensity meter even higher. Sweet red fruit, licorice, leather and moist pipe tobacco are some of the many layers that peel back from the bouquet. The balance, structure and persistence of the wine are all superb. (ML)" (06/2013)
Current Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2018 Ridge Vineyards "Guadagni Vineyard" Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel (91CG) and 2-bottles of 2019 Ridge Vineyards "Guadagni Vineyard" Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel (93WE). Of the 2019 Ridge Vineyards "Guadagni Vineyard" Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Subtle but beautifully concentrated, this firmly structured wine wraps blueberries, raspberries and light baking spices in velvety tannins for a quietly powerful expression that begs for more sips. It contains 24% Petite Sirah. Best from 2024. *Cellar Selection* (JG)" (03/2022)
Current Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 9-bottle tasting lot; including 3-bottles of 1997 Mendelson Napa Valley Pinot Gris Dessert Wine (375ml) (91WS), 3-bottles of 1998 Mendelson Napa Valley Pinot Gris Dessert Wine (375ml) (92WS), and 3-bottles of 2000 Mendelson Napa Valley Pinot Gris Dessert Wine (375ml). Of the 1998 Mendelson Napa Valley Pinot Gris Dessert Wine (375ml), Wine Spectator writes: "Sweet, rich and aromatic, with complex peach, nectarine and apricot. Finishes with elegance and grace. Crisp acidity keeps the flavors jumping. (JL)" (06/2000)
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of Veuve Clicquot Brut Champagne (91DC, 91JS, 90WS). James Suckling: "This has aromas of grapefruit, pomegranates, and biscuits. It’s honeyed and sleek with a medium body and supple bubbles. Soft and creamy finish. Majority pinot noir, with chardonnay and meunier. Around 40% reserve wines. 10g/l dosage." (02/2023)
Current Bid: $220.01

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Il Poggione Brunello di Montalcino (97VN, 96JD, 96WS, 95DC, 95RP, 94JS, 94W&S, 93KO). Vinous: "A classic from the first tilt of the glass, the 2016 Brunello di Montalcino wows the senses with a pleasantly old-school bouquet of leather, earth tones, dried flowers, crushed cherries, sage and clove. This mixes radiant dark red fruits with sweet spices and salty mineral tones to create a display of contrasts, all over a silky textural wave that’s guided by vibrant acidity. Youthfully tense yet spicy with an orange flourish and amazingly fresh, the 2016 finishes with a tart tinge of youthful tension and fine-grained tannins that will require patience to resolve. This is, without a doubt, one of the vintage's top wines. The 2016 is total class. (EG)" (12/2023)
Current Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2017 Alban "Lorraine" Edna Valley Syrah (98JD), 1-bottle of 2018 Alban "Reva" Edna Valley Syrah (98JD, 98RP, 95VN), and 1-bottle of 2019 Alban "Patrina" Central Coast Syrah (93JD). Of the 2017 Alban "Lorraine" Edna Valley Syrah, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Reminding me of a great vintage of Guigal's Côte Rôtie La Mouline, the 2017 Syrah Lorraine is brilliant stuff that ranks with the finest Syrahs in the vintage. Dense purple-hued, with a kaleidoscope-like nose of red and black fruits, spring flowers, camphor, spice, and ground pepper, this beauty hits the palate with a full-bodied, multi-dimensional texture, a stacked mid-palate, ripe tannins, and a thrilling finish that keeps you (me, anyway) coming back to the glass. From a more challenging vintage for the Central Coast and all of California, this is a testament to the talent and genius of John Alban. Drink this spectacular Syrah any time over the coming 25-30 years." (09/2021)
Current Bid: $251.00

Bid on this 7-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Byington "Bates Ranch Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon, 4-bottles of 2015 Byington "Bates Ranch Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2-bottles of 2016 Byington "Bates Ranch Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Franc. Of the 2014 Byington "Bates Ranch Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon, Situated on 95 acres in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Byington Vineyard & Winery produced its first vintage of wine in 1987. In 2013, the winery was purchased by Los Altos Vineyards, which invested in updating the winemaking facilities and acquiring more estate vineyards.
Starting Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2021 Arista "Mononi Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (97JS, 96JD, 95WS). James Suckling: "Ripe pinot but so fresh and floral, with black cherries and violets on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied with firm and fine tannins. This is going to age beautifully. Tight at the end. From grapes planted in 1998, all Dijon 115 and 113 clones. Needs three or four years to open." (02/2024)
Current Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2021 David Arthur "Le Boucher" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95JS, 93WS). James Suckling: "Gorgeous black and blue fruit aromas, then mouth-filling and velvety in texture, this estate-grown wine is made with a blend of organically certified merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and petit verdot grapes. While full-bodied, it feels light and creamy, leading to a lingering finish. Drink or hold. (JG)" (01/2024)
Current Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2021 Di Costanzo "Caldwell Vineyard" Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon (96DC, 96JS, 96RP, 94VN). Wine Advocate: "Di Costanzo gets fruit from Block 11, planted in the early 1980s to Clone 337, with a bit of Clone 15. The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Caldwell Vineyard spent 20 days on skins, a bit longer than usual, then went into Taransaud barrels for aging (40% new). Cool, restrained scents include hints of pencil shavings, violets, cassis, black cherries and blueberries—a superbly nuanced and complex nose. In the mouth, the wine is medium to full-bodied and framed by ripe tannins that feel somewhere between velvet and silk on the lingering finish. (JC)" (07/2024)
Current Bid: $231.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 William & Mary "Shifflett Ranch" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN, 96JD). Vinous: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Shifflett Vineyard is outrageous. Bright, beautifully perfumed and statuesque in feel, the 2018 is endowed with tremendous pedigree and character. Expressive savory and floral accents are laced throughout a core of dark fruit. More than anything else, I am absolutely blown away by the wine's precision. I would give the 2018 at least a few years in bottle to come together. It is an absolutely brilliant wine from Will and Mary Segui. (AG)" (01/2021)
Current Bid: $172.66

Bid on this bottle of 1999 Henschke "Hill of Grace" Shiraz Eden Valley South Australia (OWC - 98RP, 97JS, 96W&S, 96WE) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "The prodigious 1999 Shiraz Hill of Grace is a magnificent Eden Valley Shiraz, fashioned from vineyard blocks ranging between 52-144 years of age. Its inky/ruby/plum/purple color is followed by a fragrant perfume of black fruits intermixed with underbrush, dried herbs, vanilla, and spring flowers. Full-bodied, magnificently concentrated, pure, and delineated, this gorgeous, still young, compelling Shiraz is another example of a vintage that more and more appears to be underrated. It should hit its prime in 2-4 years, and last 15-20. (RP)" (10/2004)
Current Bid: $430.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Paul Jaboulet Aîné "La Maison Bleue" Hermitage (96DC, 96JD, 95JS, 95VN, 94RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "A new cuvée that’s replacing the Petit Chapelle, the 2015 Hermitage La Maison Bleue comes from grapes on the eastern side of the appellation, which is more limestone, clay, and sedimentary soils. Brought up in 20% new oak (which is the same for all the reds), it offers a rich, opulent, incredibly sexy style as well as full-bodied notes of black raspberry, blackberry jam, toasted bread, and spice. With tons of sweet fruit, no hard edges, and a great finish, it’s a much more in your face, pedal-to-the-metal effort compared to the more structured La Chapelle." (01/2018)
Current Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Domaine Paul Pernot Puligny-Montrachet. Burghound: "This too is notably floral in character with additional notes of citrus, apple and a discreet dollop of wood. The rich, supple and delicious flavors are not especially dense but the natural refinement of Puligny is present on the moderately long finale where the only reproach of interest is a hint of warmth." (06/2020)
Current Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2020 Sine Qua Non "Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Central Coast Syrah (99JD, 98VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "One of those singular, powerhouse wines that will stop anyone in their tracks (well, its stopped me anyways), the 2020 Syrah Eleven Confessions Vineyard offers an insane nose of bloody red and blue fruits, ground pepper, graphite, cured meats, and baking spices, with some classic Sta. Rita Hills marine/salty sea breeze-like nuances. With a dense, powerful mouthfeel, full-bodied aromas and flavors, massive fruit, and building tannins, this beauty is going to benefit from 2-4 years in the cellar and blow you away over the following two decades. " (08/2024)
Current Bid: $625.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Spottswoode "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98JS, 98TWI, 98VN, 98WE, 97DC). Vinous: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is regal. Just starting to show aromatic complexity and openness, the 2013 is so impressive. Black cherry, plum, mocha, new leather, licorice, incense and dried herbs all build in the glass. The 2013 possesses remarkable depth and muscle, with all the tannic heft that is such a signature of the year. There's a bit more oak influence in the 2013 than there is today, but it works within the style of the wine and vintage. This heady Cabernet packs a serious punch. (AG) " (05/2024)
Current Bid: $595.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Halleck "The Farm Vineyard" Russian River Pinot Noir, 1-bottle of 2018 Halleck "Hillside Cuvee" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, and 1-bottle of 2018 Halleck "Three Sons Cuvee" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Of the 2014 Halleck "The Farm Vineyard" Russian River Pinot Noir, Producer notes from Allen Meadows for Burghound writes: "Ross and Jennifer Halleck moved to Sonoma County in 1991, planting their first vines in the Halleck Vineyard in 1993, with the first harvest in 1999. These were the first vineyard planting in the hills of Sebastopol, and at 900', it is one of the highest vineyards in Sonoma County. In 2005 Rick Davis has been the winemaker." (10/2022)
Starting Bid: $99.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2020 Saxum "Heart Stone Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (94RP, 94VN, 93WS, 91JD). Vinous: "The 2020 Heart Stone Vineyard is seductive in the glass, with a blend of crushed raspberries, dried citrus peels, sweet spice and lavender. This is elegant and graceful on the palate, with a wonderful lift to its depths of tart wild berry fruit. Sour citrus and balsamic tones add further tension toward the close. The 2020 finishes structured and long with a resonance of violette candies that linger. This blend of 33% Graciano, 31% Grenache, 19% Syrah, 9% Mataro, 5% Touriga Nacional and 3% Petite Sirah is built for the cellar. (EG)" (05/2023)
Current Bid: $155.00

Bid on this magnum of 1989 Magdelaine, St-Emilion (1.5L) (94JG, 93ST, 91WS). John Gilman: "This was the first time that I can remember drinking both the 1989 and 1982 vintages of Château Magdelaine in the same evening and it was a fascinating comparison. The 1989 is, by quite a wide margin, the younger wine, and in terms of its evolution in bottle, it is probably fifteen years or more behind the lovely 1982. The 1989 Magdelaine shows the ripeness of the vintage in a vibrant, deep and sappy bouquet of red and black cherries, pomegranate, cigar wrapper, menthol, coffee bean, a beautiful base of chalky soil tones, a hint of tariness and a fairly generous serving of toasty new oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and plush at the core, with great purity and precision, a good foundation of Magdelaine’s inimitable soil tones, moderate tannins and a long, complex and ripe finish. " (07/2024)
Current Bid: $265.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Cappellano "Otin Fiorin - Piè Rupestris" Barolo . Vinous: "The 2016 Barolo Rupestris is unbelievably delicate. A Barolo of haunting beauty, the Rupestris is endowed with sneaky concentration that reveals itself only with time in the glass. Potent tannins and bright acids give the Rupestris fabulous energy. Readers should be prepared to cellar the 2016 for a number of years. It is one of the most reticent young vintages I have ever tasted here. Dried cherry, mint, cedar, dried flowers and sweet pipe tobacco linger on the sinewy finish. (AG)" (02/2021)
Current Bid: $626.00

Bid on this bottle of 2019 Carruades de Lafite, Pauillac (96JS, 95DC, 94JD, 93VN). James Suckling: "This is a beautiful Carraudes with currant, sweet-tobacco and wet-earth aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with a dense center-palate and tight, polished tannins. Fresh, with tension. Reminds me of the 1995 Lafite. This is so Lafite in character. It shows so much cabernet sauvignon character. It’s 68% cabernet sauvignon, 27% merlot and the rest cabernet franc." (02/2022)
Current Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Ridge Vineyards "Geyserville - Essence" Sonoma County Red Blend (375ml) and 2-bottles of 2017 Ridge Vineyards "Hooker Creek Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Zinfandel (94RP, 93VN, 91WE). Of the 2017 Ridge Vineyards "Hooker Creek Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Zinfandel, Wine Advocate writes: "The 2017 Zinfandel Hooker Creek from Sonoma Valley is blended with 4% Petite Sirah and 2% Alicante Bouschet. Its aromas are deep and inviting, tar and earth mingling with dark berry fruit and blood orange. The medium-bodied palate offers intense, earth-laced flavors with a silty grain and integrated freshness that lifts the long finish. (EB)" (02/2021)
Current Bid: $72.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Chapelle d'Ausone, St. Emilion.
Current Bid: $410.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2004 d'Arenberg "The Dead Arm" Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia (95RP, 94JH, 94ST). Wine Advocate: "The renowned 2004 Shiraz The Dead Arm, fashioned from ancient head-pruned vines, is stunning. An inky/purple color is accompanied by a glorious perfume of creosote/melted road tar, blackberry and cassis liqueur, pepper, and spice. It is the finest Dead Arm since the 2001. (RP) 95+" (10/2006)
Current Bid: $245.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2019 Work Vineyard "Lamya's" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP, 91JD). Wine Advocate: "From the winery's Calistoga estate, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Lamya's is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 22 months in 70% new French oak. A mix of red and black cherries appear on the nose, joined by hints of vanilla, menthol and cedar, while the palate is medium to full-bodied and nicely structured, with firm tannins and bright acids just beginning to soften into a welcoming whole and lingering elegantly on the finish. (JC)" (07/2024)
Current Bid: $180.00

Bid on this bottle of 2020 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac (99JS, 98DC, 98JA, (96-98WE), 96CK, 96JD, 96TWI, 96WS, 95RP, 95VN). James Suckling: "A beautifully layered red with blackcurrant, hazelnut and lead-pencil character and fine, velvety tannins. Full-bodied and reserved. It’s like a tightly knit ball of polished tannins that are cashmere in texture. So very long and impressive. Give this time. A terrific Lynch." (12/2022)
Current Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2007 Dönnhoff Norheimer Kirschheck Riesling Spätlese Nahe (94RP, 92JG, 92ST, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "As usual with Donnhoff's renditions of this site, his 2007 Norheimer Kirschheck Riesling Spatlese displays a profusion of flowers (buddleia, rose lily, and cherry blossom) on the nose and cherry fruit and citrus on the palate that combine for an irresistible charm offensive. This silken, pure Riesling is suffused not only with wafting floral perfume, but with saline, savory, scallop-like mineral notes that add to its utterly lip-smacking, saliva-inducing brand of refreshment. (DS)" (10/2009)
Current Bid: $210.00

Bid on this bottle of 1982 Grand-Puy-Lacoste, Pauillac (96RP, 96VN, 93JG, 92DC). Vinous: " The 1982 Grand-Puy-Lacoste continues to dazzle. This is in such a good place at the moment. From a regular bottle this time, it has a gorgeous blackberry, cedar and pencil box-scented bouquet that revs up with aeration. Pure & classic. The palate is wonderfully balanced; the tannins have finally polymerized to lend this 1982 the sensuality that it missed a few years ago. Just superb. (NM)" (01/2023)
Current Bid: $210.00

Bid on this bottle of 1995 Haut-Brion, Pessac-Léognan (96RP, 95VN, 95WS, 94JG). Wine Advocate: "It is fun to go back and forth between the 1995 and 1996, two superb vintages for Haut-Brion. The 1995 seems to have sweeter tannin and a bit more fat and seamlessness when compared to the more structured and muscular 1996. Certainly 1995 was a vintage that the brilliant administrator Jean Delmas handled flawlessly. The result is a deep ruby/purple-colored wine with a tight but promising nose of burning wood embers intermixed with vanilla, spice box, earth, mineral, sweet cherry, black currant, plum-like fruit, medium to full body, a high level of ripe but sweet tannin, and a finish that goes on for a good 40-45 seconds. (RP)" (01/2002)
Current Bid: $410.00

Bid on this bottle of 1983 Latour, Pauillac (95JG, 94WS, 92VN). John Gilman: "The 1983 Château Latour has never had a great reputation, and I probably had not tasted the wine since close to its release back in the mid-1980s. I was very surprised to see just how stunning the wine has turned out to be, given that Robert Parker only gave it 87 points back in the day. However, this particular magnum was absolutely stellar, offering up a deep, complex and classic nose of cassis, black cherries, dark gravelly soil tones, tobacco leaf, cedar and a topnote of cigar smoke. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and rock solid at the core, with fine structure and grip, excellent gravelly undertow, still moderate tannins and a long, complex and perfectly balanced and classic Latour finish. This is a very, very underrated vintage of Latour. (Drink between 2018-2075)" (09/2020)
Current Bid: $365.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Alpha Omega Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94JS, 94VN, 93JD, 93RP, 91DC). Vinous: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a bright, effusive wine loaded with character. Inky dark fruit, crème de cassis, lavender, spice and menthol all jump out of the glass. Rich and heady, with terrific delineation, the 2018 hits all the right notes. I would cellar it for a few years first. It's a gorgeous wine. (AG)" (10/2021)
Current Bid: $201.00

Bid on this bottle of 1989 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93WS). Wine Spectator: "A tight, tough, chewy 1989 that's intense and tannic, but graced with a wealth of fruit flavors. The rich cherry, berry, prune and plum notes turn smoky and complex on the long, full finish. *Cellar Selection*" (06/1993)
Current Bid: $126.00

Bid on this bottle of 1999 Dalla Valle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS, 94JD, 94RP, 94WE, 93ST). Wine Spectator: "A potent wine, dark, rich and concentrated, with a tight, intense, sharply focused beam of spicy currant, black cherry, blackberry and boysenberry fruit that unfolds gracefully, revealing extra facets of depth and complexity. (JL)" (11/2002)

Bid on this bottle of 1986 Pichon-Baron, Pauillac (97WS, 93JA). Wine Spectator: "Amazingly elegant and complex featuring rich cedar, currant, black cherry and cassis notes, with grace, harmony and the kind of structure that should ensure it will age beautifully until the turn of the century. The aftertaste echoes cherry flavors. *Ranked #4 on Top 100 Wines of 1989* " (05/1989)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2004 Montrose, St-Estèphe (94DC, 93JS, 93TWI, 92RP, 92WS). Decanter: "This wine was the unanimous favourite of the flight, impressing with its deep colour and pronounced currant and mulberry fruit and hints of cedar, eucalyptus, and spice. The texture is firmly tannic and dense, but there is enough extract to ensure that it does not seem astringent. The wine is still youthful, and while it is beginning to open up, it is decidedly at the outset of its trajectory and should age comfortably for at least another 20 years. (CC)" (03/2024)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2005 Pape Clément, Pessac-Léognan (100JD, 99RP, 96VN, 96WS, 95JA, 94ST, 94W&S). Jeb Dunnuck: "Another absolute legend in the vintage is the 2005 Château Pape Clément, which is just now starting to hit prime time. Based on 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, it has a deep, powerful, incredibly seductive style to go with beautiful darker fruits, scorched earth, smoke, and chocolatey nuances. With velvety tannins, a flawless, full-bodied, seamless mouthfeel, blockbuster length, it should blow you away any time over the coming two decades." (04/2024)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Saxum "Hexe" Paso Robles Willow Creek District Red Blend (100JD, 96VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The deeper plum-hued 2019 Hexe is a more diverse blend composed of 49% Grenache, 18% Petite Sirah, 16% Mataro, 9% Graciano, and 8% Syrah. The élevage here is similar to the Rocket Block, and it spent 32 months in 55% new French oak 300-liter barrels. Pure gold in Rhône blends from California, it has a massive bouquet of ripe black fruit, chocolate, smoked earth, graphite, ground pepper, and assorted meaty nuances, among other things. All of these carry over to the palate, where the wine is massively rich, full-bodied, and concentrated, with a layered, multi-dimensional texture. I was able to taste this on two separate occasions and thought it was a perfect wine both times. It shows the tighter, focused style of the 2019 vintage and deserves 2-4 years of bottle age. It will unquestionably keep for two decades." (08/2023)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Giovanni Manzone "Castelletto" Barolo (95VN). Vinous: "Manzone's 2015 Barolo Castelletto is truly impressive. Bold, rich and pulsing with energy, the 2015 captures all the vibrancy that makes Barolos from Castelletto so distinctive, with an extra touch of mid-palate sweetness. If that sounds appealing, well, it is. Rose petal, bright red berry fruit, mint, chalk and wild flowers all run through this wonderfully nuanced, translucent Barolo. There is so much to like here. What a pretty wine this is. (AG)" (11/2019)

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 1996 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (OWC - 98RP, 97WS, 96VN, 95DC, 95ST) in original wood. Wine Advocate: The opaque purple-colored 1996 Harlan Estate reveals extraordinary intensity, a spicy, black currant, tobacco, cedar, and fruit cake-scented bouquet, full body, a texture oozing with glycerin and concentrated fruit, and moderate tannin in the blockbuster finish. It is one of the most concentrated and complete red wines one could hope to taste. (RP) (12/1999)
