Bid on this 3-magnum lot of 2017 Pride Mountain Napa-Sonoma Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (92JD). Jeb Dunnuck: More blackcurrant, cassis, tobacco, and damp earth notes emerge from the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon, another medium to full-bodied, balanced, elegant wine in the lineup. With wonderful purity of fruit and a seamless, sumptuous style on the palate, give bottles a year or so and it's going to drink nicely for 10-15 years. (01/2020)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JD, 98VN, 97JS, 96RP). Vinous: "The 2018 The Bard is fabulous and also one of the very finest wines I have ever tasted from Realm. Vertical structure, power and explosive energy infuse the 2018 with tremendous character. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, leather, licorice and lavender are some of the many notes that run through the 2018. This is the first vintage that includes a dollop of Petite Sirah from Bourn. It is also the first vintage in which a portion of the wine was aged in concrete eggs, which seems to add tension and a palpable sense of vibrancy. The Bard is a blend of 40 different lots, everything from Calistoga to Coombsville, a marriage of elements that works so well. Although none of these wines could be referred to as inexpensive, The Bard is a tremendous relative value within the context of high-end Napa Valley. I loved it. (AG)" (01/2020)
Current Bid: $370.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1999 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95VN, 93ST, 91RP, 91WS). Vinous: "Deep bright ruby. Captivating nose combines blackcurrant, crushed-rock minerality, licorice and violet, complemented by notes of cocoa powder, leather and earth. Densely packed and seriously concentrated, showing an almost chocolatey ripeness that's leavened by integrated acidity. Flavors of dark berries, minerals and flowers saturate the palate and spread out on the very suave, subtly long aftertaste. There's no easy sweetness here but the wine's noble tannins and considerable finesse give it great appeal today. This beautiful blend should go on for many more years on its extract and balance. (ST)" (05/2019)
Current Bid: $510.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2022 Aubert "Sugar Shack" Napa Valley Chardonnay ((97-99TWI), 97JS, 96RP, 96WS, 94VN). The Wine Independent: "The 2022 Sugar Shack was tasted as a barrel sample. Wow — the nose pops with citrus notes of lime cordial, lemon curd, and kumquat giving way to hints of shaved almonds, jasmine tea, and beeswax with a touch of sea spray. The full-bodied palate delivers beautiful tension and a satiny texture, with tightly wound citrus and mineral layers, finishing long and chalky. This is the Montrachet clone – what Mark calls “the citrus circus” clone. There are about 5 acres in total and the vines are protected by shade cloth - it is a very pampered vineyard. (LPB)" (09/2023)
Current Bid: $185.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Next Of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Numero Dois" Central Coast Touriga Nacional (98JD, 98VN, 97RP). Vinous: "The 2016 Número Dois is full of mystery and sheer allure. Mocha, wild cherry, mint, iron and a touch of new oak infuse this opulent red with tremendous nuance. Soft curves and rich, voluptuous fruit add to the wine’s considerable personality. Time in the glass brings out the wine’s intense aromatics and overall nuance. The 2016 is flat out gorgeous. That’s all there is to it. (AG)" (09/2019)
Starting Bid: $205.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Paolo Scavino "Bric dël Fiasc" Barolo (100WE, 97WS, 96RP, 95JS, 95VN, 94ST). Wine Enthusiast: "If a wine can truly be perfect, this is it. Displaying power, grace, depth and complexity, this Barolo delivers sublime Nebbiolo sensations including rose, underbrush, red cherry, leather, licorice, baking spices, clove, white pepper and balsamic notes. The intense flavors are balanced by velvety tannins and fantastic energy. *Cellar Selection, Best of 2014* (KO)" (10/2014)
Current Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 Tour St-Christophe, St-Emilion (96JS, 95JD, 94DC, 93VN, 92RP, 92WE). James Suckling: "Intense aromas of blackberries, blueberries and spices. Hints of limestone and a graphite edge also come out now. Full-bodied, structured and muscular. Layered and intense. Dark berries and hints of sea salt on the finish. Steely minerality and freshness. Wow." (02/2018)
Current Bid: $195.00

Bid on this 3 liter of 2005 Robert Foley Napa Valley Claret (3L) (OWC - 93ST, 92RP) in original wood. Int'l Wine Cellar: "Saturated bright ruby color. Liqueur-like aromas of black cherry, raspberry and mocha; high-toned in a positive way. A sweet, powerful fruit bomb on the palate, with perfectly integrated acidity giving shape and grip to the dark berry and cherry flavors. Firm underlying minerality contributes to the wine's very fresh impression. Finishes with terrific aromatic persistence. (ST)" (05/2008)
Current Bid: $206.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Dana Estates "Helms Vineyard" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 99JS, 96RP, 96VN, (92-95ST), 94WS) in original wood. James Suckling: "Extraordinary aromas of metal shavings, black currants and hazelnuts. Turns to roses and violets. Full-bodied, yet subtle and refined with a polished piercing tannin backbone. This makes you want to drink it. Sexy and elegant. A triumph." (11/2015)
Current Bid: $660.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Corison Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94JG, 92JS, 92VN, 91DC, 90CG). John Gilman: "I was very sorry to miss the opportunity to celebrate Cathy Corison’s twenty-fifth harvest, as the winery organized tastings on both the east and west coasts to commemorate the milestone by opening every vintage that she has produced at her own winery, and I was in Europe at the time of both events! In any event, her 2012 “Napa” cabernet sauvignon, which is her twenty-sixth vintage here, is really a beautiful wine, tipping the scales at a very refined 13.9 percent alcohol and offering up an utterly classic bouquet of red and black cherries, tobacco smoke, beautiful spice tones, a touch of currant leaf, Rutherford dust and a judicious framing of new oak. " (05/2017)
Current Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Kapcsándy "Estate Cuvée - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97VN, 93JS, 93RP). Vinous: "A model of grace and finesse, the 2010 Estate Cuvée is showing beautifully today. Grilled herbs, smoke, plum and black cherry notes all meld together in an exquisite, gracious wine loaded with finesse and elegance. Today, the 2010 is a bit reserved, but its energy and exuberance just need time to fully emerge. The 2010s vibrant and impeccably nuanced throughout. (AG)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Tor Kenward "Cimarossa Vineyard" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (97VN). Vinous: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Cimarossa Vineyard is such a classic Howell Mountain wine. Scorched earth, leather, licorice, tobacco, licorice and gravel lend striking aromatic nuance to this virile, potent Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2018 is a real stunner. Its breadth, power and resonance are thrilling. (AG)" (01/2022)
Current Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2006 L'Aventure "Estate" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (92ST, 90RP) and 5-bottles of 2007 L'Aventure "Estate" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 94RP, 93VN). Of the 2007 L'Aventure "Estate" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Made from 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon offers textbook notes of blackcurrants, plums, cedary spice, and violets. Full-bodied and concentrated, like the Côte à Côte, it's seamless on the palate, with perfectly integrated tannins. It's another gorgeous wine from owner and winemaker Stephan Asseo. " (07/2018)
Starting Bid: $290.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2019 Tensley Santa Barbara County Syrah (93JD, 93WS, 90VN). Wine Spectator: "Handsomely built and expressive, with intriguing blueberry, smoky meat and tapenade flavors that build richness and tension toward medium-grained tannins. Drink now through 2031. (TF)" (06/2022)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Inglenook "Rubicon" Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (95JS, 95RP, 95W&S, 93VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Rubicon, which used to be a proprietary blend and had a somewhat rustic, Italian personality, has now been put under the Inglenook Vineyard designation. Where the Cabernet Sauvignon was a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Cabernet Franc and 3% Merlot, the Rubicon has abandoned any Italian varietals in favor of a blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 1% Merlot. (RP)" (10/2014)
Current Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Cakebread "Vaca" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend. Cakebread Cellars has been a Napa Valley staple for over 50 years. Still family-owned and operated, their wines are beacons of Napa terroir, and provide exceptional value. According to the estate, "Grapes for this complex, robust wine come from three special estate vineyards located along the Vaca mountain range on the east side of Napa Valley. Suscol Springs is the coolest site, its vines planted amid rocky outcrops overlooking the town of Napa. Doggwood , located further north, is a warm bowl like valley with multiple exposures. Dancing Bear, the northernmost site, sits on Howell Mountain at the highest elevations, enjoying a 360 degree exposure."
Current Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Williams Selyem "Estate Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (97CG, 95WE, 94ST, 90VN, 90W&S). Connoisseurs Guide: "The 2010 roster of Pinots from Williams Selyem arguably ranks with the best we have seen, yet, among the many beauties therein contained, this outstanding effort lodges a hard-to-dispute claim of occupying the very head of an overachieving class. It is as deep and concise and pure in fruit as it is impeccably polished, and its layered flavors of ripe cherries, vanilla, crème caramel and graphite compel sip after satisfying sip. It is amazingly rich, but it is always light on its feet, and we confess that waiting for it to grow into its best some five years hence is sure to be no easy task. *Three Stars* " (02/2013)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 6-half-bottle lot of 2000 Mendelson Napa Valley Pinot Gris Dessert Wine (375ml). Wine Enthusiast: Very sweet and rich in honeyed citrus and vanilla flavors, this dessert wine suggests white cookies and cakes as partners. It's not particularly complex, but it is deliciously easy to drink. (05/2009)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1991 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 97DC, 94TWI, 92RP, 92VN) in original wood. Decanter: "A triumph of balance and finesse, this 1991 is stylistically closer to Pauillac than Oakville! Very deep red in colour, it's showing only slight maturity. The nose is smoky and cedary, distinctly Bordelais in style, with refined blackberry fruit aromatics. The palate is rich and opulent, showing no extraction or excessive heft, while the texture is exquisite and the wine is still fresh. It has good length with some piquant acidity on the finish as well as sweetness of fruit. (SB)" (02/2019)
Current Bid: $1,770.00

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2017 Barnett "MMV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92JD), 2-bottles of 2017 Barnett Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon, 1-bottle of 2018 Barnett Spring Mountain District Cabernet Franc (91WS), and 1-bottle of 2018 Barnett Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (92JS, 92WS). Of the 2017 Barnett "MMV" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "A blend of both mountain and valley floor Cabernet Sauvignon (Mountain Meets Valley, MMV), the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon MMV has a ripe, expressive bouquet of plums, candied violets, sappy herbs, and incense. It's another ripe, nicely textured, concentrated, 2017 that has plenty of mid-palate depth, more flesh and baby fat than most in the lineup, and a great finish. Drink it over the coming 10-15 years or more." (01/2020)
Current Bid: $215.00

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2016 Linne Calodo Sticks & Stones Paso Robles Rhone Blend (1.5L) (97JD, 95VN). Jeb Dunnuck: One of the gems in the lineup is the 2016 Sticks and Stones, which is 74% Grenache, 19% Syrah, and 7% Mourvèdre. Seamlessness and elegance are the buzzwords here, and this beauty offers a kaleidoscope of black raspberries, blueberries, white pepper, liquid violets, and incense. Brought up in concrete tanks and foudre, it’s another seamless, incredibly layered wine from Matt Trevisan that delivers everything you could want from these magical, limestone hillsides on the westside of Paso Robles. (11/2018)
Current Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Pride Mountain "Vintner's Select" Sonoma County Merlot (91VN). Vinous: "Pride's 2014 Vintner Select Merlot is quite powerful and intense, but it is also a bit compact, especially through the mid-palate. It will be interesting to see if the 2014 develops more resonance and depth. I would prefer to drink the 2014 sooner rather than later. (AG)" (03/2018)
Current Bid: $125.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Realm "The Absurd" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 100RP, 97JS, 95VN). Wine Advocate: "A blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and the rest Petit Verdot, is the 2014 The Absurd, basically a choice of their finest barrels, or as winemaker and owner Benoit Touquette says, 'The crème de la crème.' This is another perfect wine equaling their incredible 2013. Yet the 2014 is slightly more forward and showy, as many 2013s are just beginning to shut down. There are 250 cases of this majestic wine that has an opaque purple color, extraordinary nose of spring flowers, blueberry, blackberry, creosote, charcoal, toast and spice. The wine has unbelievable fruit on the attack, midpalate and finish, compelling purity, texture and a finish of close to a full minute. It is (as advertised by the winery) a 'showcase of the best of Napa Valley with the freedom of expression that results from no rules.' (RP)" (12/2016)
Current Bid: $825.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Aubert "UV Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir ((96-97JS), 96VN, 95RP, 94WS). James Suckling: "Very pretty red with dried berry and strawberry character. Soy sauce. Some fresh floral and mushroom character. Full bodied, round and layered with chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. Lovely length and structure. (JS)" (10/2018)
Current Bid: $237.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 DRC Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée-Conti Grand Cru (99RP, 98BH, 98VN). Wine Advocate: "Usually, choosing between La Tâche and Romanée-Conti is like choosing between your two favourite children. Not this year. The 2012 Romanée-Conti is one of the most spellbinding that I have tasted since I began 17 years ago. The bouquet is quite astonishing with brilliant delineation and focus, an almost disorientating sense of mineralité that soars from the glass and leaves you speechless. The palate is perfectly proportioned with a sensational line of acidity, brimming over with energy and frisson. This flirts with perfection and you know, one day it might actually achieve it. (NM)" (02/2015)
Current Bid: $14,760.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2018 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (98JD, 98JS, 98VN, 97JA, 97TWI, 96WE, 96WS). Vinous: "The 2018 Cos d'Estournel is a racy, powerful Saint-Estèphe that is going to need quite a bit of time to find its center. Today, it is tightly wound, but all the energy is there. Lush and extravagantly ripe, the 2018 possesses tremendous depth and plenty of energy to back it all up. Here, too, I found the wine a bit more expressive and giving en primeur. (AG)" (03/2021)
Current Bid: $740.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Diamond Creek "Gravelly Meadow" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95W&S, 94DC, 92WE). Wine & Spirits: "The five acres at Gravelly Meadow are part of an ancient riverbed, the coolest site of Diamond Creek's three main vineyards. It produced a heady 2007, almost off-putting in its power at first. The flavors progress from the richness of new oak toward a grape and soil expression similar to the fruitiness of black mushrooms. It's sleek, juicy and dark in tone, the finesse of the wine already making it delicious, while the tightness of the underlying structure suggests years of development ahead. " (12/2010)
Current Bid: $390.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Schrader "LPV - Beckstoffer Las Piedras" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 97JS). Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon LPV is from clone 337 from the Las Piedras Vineyard in St. Helena. This shows Mission Haut-Brion-like characteristics as it has in the past, with crushed rock, wet gravel, scorched earth, blackberry and blueberry fruit. It is clearly one of my favorites of this entire tasting. It has 14.5% natural alcohol and was aged in 90% new Darnajou and 10% new Taransaud barrels. This is a killer effort. (RP)" (10/2016)
Current Bid: $430.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 100RP, 99VN, 96WS) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep garnet-purple colored 2019 Scarecrow hits the ground running with bold expressions of crème de cassis, wild blueberries and chocolate-covered cherries plus hints of dried herbs, tilled soil and crushed rocks with a fragrant undercurrent of Indian spices. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is laden with layer upon layer of tightly packed mineral-sparked black fruit flavors, framed by super plush tannins and absolutely seamless freshness, finishing long, long, long. This expression of the venerable J.J. Cohn vineyard—including vines planted in 1945 by John Daniel and dry farmed—is pure magic. (LPB)" (10/2021)
Current Bid: $1,605.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Tor Kenward "East Meets West" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 93WS). Wine Advocate: "Another tiny cuvée, but certainly a magnificent one, is the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon East Meets West, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from the To Kalon and Terra Roja vineyards. With great mouthfeel, fabulous intensity, plenty of fruitcake, cassis, licorice, incense and Asian spice, the wine is opulent and fleshy with low acidity and enormous fruit and length. I was trying to see if this would last a minute on the palate and it almost did. (RP)" (10/2016)
Current Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2021 Work Vineyard "Lamya's" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (90JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "Darker berries, currants, sweet tobacco, and spicy, chocolaty notes all emerge from the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Lamya's, a round, nicely balanced, opulent Cabernet Sauvignon that has sweet tannins and a good finish. It's not going to make old bones, but it's one of those textured, fruit-forward Napa Cabernets that will drink nicely for 7-8 years." (01/2025)
Current Bid: $180.00

Bid on this bottle of 2021 Morlet "Coup de Coeur" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100TWI, 99JD, 98RP, 97VN). The Wine Independent: "The 2021 Chardonnay Coup de Coeur opens with intense lemon curd, yuzu, and fresh grapefruit notes, yet needs a little swirling to unlock the evocative undercurrent of sea spray, lime leaves, nutmeg, and toasted almonds with a waft of beeswax. The medium to full-bodied palate is tightly wound with electric citrus and baking spice notes and a crisp line of freshness to support, finishing with epic length and depth. So delicious now, but give it a good 4-5 years in the bottle to really spread its wings. (LPB)" (02/2024)
Current Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2021 Kosta Browne "Garys' Vineyard" Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir (96WE, 95DC). Wine Enthusiast: "Lush aromas of Bing cherry and uncracked peppercorn are fresh, lively and incredibly inviting on the nose of this bottling. The purity of fruit displayed on the palate is remarkable, as waves of chai and pepper spices add layers of nuance. (MK)" (11/2024)
Current Bid: $141.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2012 L'Aventure "Estate" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP). Wine Advocate: "Incorporating 9% Petit Verdot, the 2012 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in 100%, lightly toasted, new French oak. It has a Pauillac-like bouquet of graphite, cassis, spring flowers, and freshly sharpened pencils, and it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, impeccable balance and high, yet sweet tannin. This is a serious Cabernet that will be better in another 2-3 years, and have upward of two decades of longevity. (JD) 96+" (08/2014)
Current Bid: $275.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2020 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey St-Aubin (93DC, (89-91RP)). Decanter: "Aromas of ripe apricots and citrus peel. The texture is pleasantly waxy, with perhaps less acidity than some sites, but enough mineral and smoke notes to be recognisably Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey. This wine is produced from 50-year-old vines in the south-facing but high altitude site of Le Blanc in St-Aubin. The grapes were picked starting on the 20th of August and were fermented in large, mostly neutral casks. (CC)" (05/2022)
Current Bid: $421.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (99JD, 98WS, 96RP, 96VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2019 James Berry Vineyard checks in as 58% Grenache, 27% Mataro, 6% Syrah, 6% Graciano, and 3% Counoise that spent 21 months in 79% new French oak. It would stand up in a lineup of top Châteauneuf du Pape and has a gorgeous bouquet of black raspberries, ground pepper, flowery incense, and loamy earth. Pure, full-bodied, ultra-fine, and seamless, it builds with time in the glass, has ripe tannins, and a great finish. It shines just as much for its elegance and class as it does for its power and richness. It needs to be forgotten for 3-5 years but will be a 20- to 25-year wine from this estate." (09/2022)
Current Bid: $196.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru ((93-95BH), (92-94RP), 93WS). Burghound: "A ripe but brooding nose features aromas of spiced black raspberry, red currant and floral notes. The powerful, concentrated and distinctly earthy broad-shouldered flavors possess plenty of muscle as the dense and firm mouth coating tannins will require at least 15 years to resolve. I very much like this very rich effort as it's a Bèze of imposing size and weight along with explosive length yet it retains a fine sense of harmony and balance. Once again, note well though that patience is necessary. *Don't Miss!*" (01/2015)
Current Bid: $184.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Domaine Dujac Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Les Beaux Monts" ((91-94BH), 94ST, (91-93RP)). Burghound: "Very mild reduction doesn't completely hide the intrinsic Vosne spice notes that also suffuse the intense mineral and beautifully refined and vibrant medium-bodied flavors that possess both lovely delineation as well as that beguiling sense of underlying tension on the classy, cool and impeccably well-balanced finish. This is a classic Beaux Monts that should drink well young yet require at least 12 years to reach its full potential. *Sweet Spot Outstanding* " (01/2012)
Current Bid: $430.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2007 Williams Selyem "Ferrington Vineyard" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (94ST, 94WE, 91CG). Wine Enthusiast: "A wonderful wine from one of the best vineyards in Anderson Valley. It’s a bit acidic and tannic now, the result of this cool vintage, but time in the bottle should soften and resolve the tartness and astringency. The wine itself is very dry, with flavors of cherries, cola, balsam, Asian spices and oak. *Cellar Selection*" (02/2010)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this bottle of 1997 Bollinger Grande Annee Champagne (93WS, 92ST). Wine Spectator: "Fine depth and complexity in both aromas and flavors. Citrus, ginger, vanilla, whole-grain bread and nut elements combine for a harmonious presentation. Full-bodied, yet sophisticated and lively. A long, luxurious finish. (BS)" (08/2005)
Current Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Linne Calodo "Perfectionist" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (95VN, 94JD, 93RP), 2-bottles of 2015 Linne Calodo "Problem Child" Paso Robles Red Blend (94RP, 94VN), 2-bottles of 2016 Linne Calodo "Perfectionist" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (95VN, 94JD, 91WS), and 1-bottle of 2016 Linne Calodo "Problem Child" Paso Robles Red Blend (92WS). Of the 2014 Linne Calodo "Perfectionist" Paso Robles Rhône Blend, Vinous writes: "A highly complex, spice-laced bouquet evokes black and blue fruit preserves, incense and Moroccan spices, and a smoky mineral quality adds lift. Stains the palate with concentrated, sharply delineated boysenberry and cassis liqueur flavors that are energized by a spine of juicy acidity. Definitely rich, but shows outstanding energy and clarity as well. Finishes sweet, velvety and extremely long, leaving notes of candied flowers and spicecake behind. (JR)" (11/2017)
Starting Bid: $210.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Selbach-Oster Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spatlese Mosel. Wine Advocate: "Selbach's 2005 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spatlese exhibits the classic ripe apple and vanilla of its site, offers invigorating notes of apple skin, brown spices, and lime peel along with decisively wet stone slatiness on the palate, and finishes with a lovely persistence of pure apple, brown spices, sweet florality, and vanilla. (DS)" (02/2007)
Current Bid: $32.00

Bid on this magnum of 2008 Hourglass "Blueline" Napa Valley Cabernet Franc (1.5L). Wine Advocate: "The restrained 2008 Cabernet Franc Blueline is made from 90% Cabernet Franc and 10% Merlot. Revealing hints of raspberries, black cherries, black currants and subtle notes of herbs, this medium-bodied, elegant, pure wine can be enjoyed over the next decade or more. (RP)" (12/2010)
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100JD, (98-100RP), 97VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Chardonnay Lauren Estate delivers incredibly intense grapefruit essence, lemon peel and green apple notes with touches of nutmeg, fresh ginger, lightly browned toast, marzipan and smoky meat. The palate is built like a brick house with a solid line of refreshing acid framing the complex citrus and spice layers, finishing long and savory. (LPB)" (10/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2017 Schrader "MB (Monastery Block) To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 95JS, 94JD, 94WS) and 1-bottle of 2019 Schrader "Monastery Block" - To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 97JD, 96WS, 95RP). Of the 2019 Schrader "Monastery Block" - To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, James Suckling writes: "A fine, effusive quality from the sandalwood, violets, black pepper and blackberry concentrate. Quite a denser and more muscular expression, yet you won’t feel any chew from the tannins, as they melt into the dark fruit. Long and focused. " (10/2022)

Bid on this bottle of 1947 Giacomo Borgogno & Figli Barolo Riserva (92VN). Vinous: "For fun, I decide to open the 1947 Borgogno Barolo, a much, much humbler wine, but one I thought would be interesting to taste next to the de Vogüé. The Borgogno had one previous owner, and the condition of the bottle is remarkable. It isn't a great wine, but there is a purity and frankness to the fruit that is striking in its beauty. This wine was tasted at the Fourth Annual Truffle Charity Dinner in November 2011. (AG)" (02/2012)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2002 Diamond Creek "Red Rock Terrace" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97WE, 96RP, 96W&S, 92CG). Wine Enthusiast: "The most complete and compelling of Diamond Creek’s trio of ’02s, combining the opulent accessibility of Gravelly Meadow with the power and authority of Volcanic Hill. The aromas of cassis, red currants, cedar, tobacco and cigar box lead to massively packed Cabernet flavors wrapped in huge, dusty tannins. The wine is so balanced, so distinguished and complete. Decant now if you must drink it, but it should start to mellow by 2008, and then peak and hold through 2015 at least. *Cellar Selection* " (08/2006)
Starting Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Bedrock "Oakville Farmhouse-Heritage Wine" Oakville Red Blend (96VN). Vinous: "The 2015 Oakville Farmhouse Heritage is simply magnificent. Vibrant, dense and inky, with striking aromatics and nuance, the 2015 is a thrilling wine. Once again, the pedigree of California's best heritage sites is so evident. In 2015, the Oakville Farmhouse is a total knockout. If you can find it, grab it! (AG)" (03/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Colgin "IX Estate" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97RP, 93JS, 93VN, 93WS). Wine Advocate: "Deep purple to the rim with sweet blackberry, creosote, camphor, forest floor and fruitcake notes, sweet tannin and a layered mouthfeel, this wine builds incrementally offering up power, but also elegance. It is a spectacular wine from a great site. (RP)" (04/2014)

Bid on this 7-bottle lot of 2021 Morlet "Côteaux Nobles" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (97JD, 96VN, 94RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "From the same vineyard as the Ma Douce Chardonnay on the second ridge from the coast in Fort Ross-Seaview, the deep red/ruby 2021 Pinot Noir Coteaux Nobles comes out swinging. Packed with layered aromas of sassafras, framboise, roses, cedar, Asian spice, and coriander, it's medium to full-bodied and propels through the palate with ripe tannins, a long finish, and a plush feel, although it also retains a more vertical spine of fresh acidity throughout. Drink 2025-2040. (Drink between 2025-2040) (AF)" (06/2024)
