Bid on this bottle of 2009 E. Guigal "La Mouline" Côte-Rôtie (100JD, 100RP, 98WS). Wine Advocate: "...The 2009 Cote Rotie la Mouline (which incorporates a whopping 11% of Viognier) offers an insane bouquet of roasted meats, toast, spice, caramelized meats, coffee bean and deep, concentrated and layered blackberry and cassis-styled fruit. As with the 2010, it has off-the-chart richness, a stacked mid-palate and a gorgeous polish to its tannin. Give it another 3 to 4 years and drink it over the following 2-3 decades. (JD)" (08/2014)
Current Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2021 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (100JS, 97VN, 97WE, 96JD, 96RP, 95WS). James Suckling: "Tightly wound at this stage, the wine is massively concentrated, taut, yet trim and medium-bodied. Aged in 100% new oak, predominantly American, it offers espresso, blackberry, black cherry and vanilla bean flavors with a linear intensity and drive. Known to age and improve for several decades, this is one of California’s most collectible cabs and from a classic, age-worthy vintage. " (05/2024)
Current Bid: $373.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Tenuta dell'Ornellaia "Masseto" Toscana (100JD, 100JS, 100RP, 98DC, 98VN, 97WS, 95KO). Wine Advocate: "Masseto has pulled off back-to-back home runs. This is the first time that an Italian wine has earned 100 points in successive vintages. The 2016 Masseto is a thunderstorm of emotions, but it manages to keep them under perfect control. Like the 2015 Masseto before it, this vintage is a seamless wine of the highest pedigree. It represents an encore performance, continuing the string of successes that is bringing Italy to the forefront of the wine world. (ML)" (04/2019)
Current Bid: $925.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Giacomo Conterno "Cerretta" Barolo (97VN, 95RP). Vinous: "Just as it was from barrel, the 2014 Barolo Cerretta is a total stunner. Gracious, perfumed and light on its feet, the Cerretta has so much to say. Time in the glass just serves to bring out the wine's striking inner perfume, natural depth and crystalline intensity. Despite its relatively recent bottling, the 2014 is super-expressive, with tons of detail and a finish that goes on forever. The 2014 Cerretta has a lot to offer, although today the wine's aromatic depth and silkiness are especially alluring. (AG) 97+" (11/2018)
Current Bid: $206.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2018 Hudson "Laughing Lands" Carneros Merlot. Praise from Lisa Perrotti-Brown in Wine Advocate: "Hudson Vineyard is a name well-known to lovers of the wines of Northern California. The name is a proudly declared vineyard designation donning the labels of some of the most lauded producers, including Kistler and Kongsgaard. Set over 2, 000 acres in the Carneros AVA, Hudson Ranch is quite a sight/site to behold. For many years Lee Hudson and his wife, Cristina, were known purely as growers, assigning parcels of their 200 acres under vine to a wide variety of clients. (10/2018)
Starting Bid: $275.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Il Marroneto Brunello di Montalcino (98WE, 97TWI, 96JD, 96RP, 96VN, 96W&S, 95DC). Wine Enthusiast: "Perfumed, focused and loaded with energy, this radiant red boasts enticing scents of iris, rose, crushed mint and wild berry. Boasting ethereal elegance as well as intensity and flavor, the chiseled palate has great fruit purity, delivering juicy red cherry, spiced cranberry, star anise and white pepper. Noble tannins and bright acidity provide balance and an ageworthy framework. Drink 2024–2046. *Cellar Selection* (KO)" (05/2021)
Current Bid: $286.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Merry Edwards "Meredith Estate" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (94WE, 93RP). Wine Enthusiast: "From the producer's Sebastopol Hills hillside vineyard, this is a perfumy, elegant wine, a combination of lavender and roses with sizable tannins and a backbone of acidity. Dark black fruit and game swirl together with a complex addition of dried herb and violet. *Cellar Selection* (VB)" (07/2016)
Current Bid: $92.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Fingers Crossed "Two Become One - Bien Nacido Vineyard" Santa Maria Valley Syrah (98JD, 97RP, 96VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2019 Syrah Two Become One is up there with the finest Syrahs in California. Like the 2020, it includes a good portion of white grapes, with the final blend being 94% Syrah, 3% Mourvèdre, and 3% Roussanne, with 25% stems and 20 months in 70% new oak. Rocking aromatics of peppery herbs, violets, smoked meats, and bright blue fruits all define the bouquet, and it's full-bodied and concentrated on the palate, with a more focused, chiseled, lengthy mouthfeel that carries plenty of tannins. This complex, nuanced, incredibly impressive Syrah will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and cruise for over a decade in cold cellars." (08/2022)
Current Bid: $245.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Jérôme Chezeaux Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru "Les Vaucrains". Located in Prémeaux-Prissey just south of Nuits Saint Georges, Domaine Jérôme Chezeaux owns approximately 12 hectares of vineyards. Jérôme is strictly non-interventionist, following the most traditional methods in the cellar. He relies exclusively on indigenous yeasts are used exclusively, with malolactic fermentation occuring in small oak barrels during an extended elevage.
Current Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien (100JD, 99JA, 99JS, 99RP, 98WE, 97VN, 97WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "Pure magic and one of the finest expressions of this estate I could imagine, as well as a perfect wine, the 2018 Château Léoville Las Cases comes from a mix of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, and 9% Cabernet Franc that spent 19 months in (I believe) all new French oak. Its dense purple color is followed by a profound wine loaded with notions of crème de cassis, lead pencil shavings, melon, crushed stone, tobacco, and violets. Full-bodied, concentrated, and massive on the palate, yet also incredibly well delineated and precise, it has a wonderful mix of seemingly ripe, sunny fruit from a warm year yet the minerality, purity, and precision of a cooler year. This wine is going to be just about immortal; however, do your best to hide bottles for a solid 10-15 years." (03/2021)
Current Bid: $540.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Pensées de Lafleur, Pomerol (97DC, 97JS, 96RP, 95JD, 94JA, 93VN). James Suckling: " The purity here is so clear, with perfumed and floral aromas. Extremely aromatic. Violets and some iodine, too. Full-bodied and creamy with a fantastic, layered texture of tannins and notes of tile, dark chocolate and nutmeg. Closes at the end. Try after 2026. Will age beautifully." (02/2022)
Current Bid: $453.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Quintodecimo "Vigna Grande Cerzito" Taurasi Riserva (93RP). Wine Advocate: "This wine draws its fruit from a south-facing site in Mirabella Eclano. The soils were created by falling volcanic ash and pumice, and they are very well-draining as a result. The Quintodecimo 2017 Taurasi Riserva Vigna Grande Cerzito shows dark and plump fruit over a full-bodied delivery. This hot vintage reveals flavors that are bigger and richer than what we've seen in previous years. However, careful fruit selection and winemaking ensure an elegant final result with balanced power and freshness. Hints of wild mountain mint appear as an afterthought. (ML)" (10/2022)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2020 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96WS, 95VN, 94JD). Wine Spectator: "A knockout wine as always, polished yet potently built, with dynamic blackberry and raspberry flavors laced with garrigue, loamy mineral, fruitcake spices and smoked meat. Builds richness toward big but polished tannins. Grenache, Mataro, Syrah, Graciano, Grenache Blanc and Counoise. Drink now through 2035. (TF)" (10/2023)
Current Bid: $186.82

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Sine Qua Non "Distenta I" California Syrah (100RP, 100TWI, 98JD, 98VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2019 Syrah Distenta I comes entirely from the Krankls' estate vineyards: 35% from The Third Twin, 33% from Eleven Confessions, 31% from Cumulus and 1% from Molly Aïda. It is a blend of 83.6% Syrah, 6.2% Grenache, 5.2% Petite Sirah, 3% Mourvèdre and 2% white grapes (1.4% Muskat and 0.6% Petit Manseng). Fermented with 33% whole clusters and matured for 23 months in 43% new French oak, it has an opaque purple-black color and takes plenty of time in the glass to reveal a core of cassis and accents of sage, lavender, tar and coffee beans. The full-bodied palate is concentrated and still youthfully coiled. It has a fine, grainy texture, fresh acidity and a long, floral finish. (EB) 98+" (05/2022)
Current Bid: $490.00

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2013 Tensley OGT Santa Barbara County Syrah (1.5L) (94RP, 94WS, 93VN). Wine Advocate: Made from 50% Colson Canyon, 25% Tierra Alta and 25% Thompson, the 2013 Syrah OGT, which is released only in magnum, is another pedal-to-the-metal, sweetly fruited effort that remains a joy to drink. Loaded with cassis, jammy black raspberries, smoked meats and peppery spice, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, lots of sweet tannin and a big finish that continues to pump out tons of fruit. Given the wealth of fruit and texture, it's approachable now, yet should evolve for 10-12 years. (JD) (08/2015)
Current Bid: $121.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2021 Vice Versa "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 95RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard shows the fresher, elegant style of the vintage yet brings gorgeous purity of fruit as well as plenty of density and depth. Darker currants and blueberry-like fruits, as well as spring flowers, violets, iron, and hints of espresso, all define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a concentrated, dense, focused style, building tannins, and a great finish. It has an incredible sense of class. I was able to follow this bottle for multiple days and it only improved with air, so do your best to hide bottles for a solid 4-5 years if you can, and if you're opening bottles any time over the coming couple of years, give it a good hour in a decanter. (JD) 97+" (02/2024)
Current Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2021 Arista "Ferrington Vineyard" Anderson Valley Pinot Noir and 2-bottles of 2021 Arista "Perli Vineyard" Mendocino Ridge Pinot Noir (93DC). Of the 2021 Arista "Perli Vineyard" Mendocino Ridge Pinot Noir, Decanter writes: "Bright bring Cherry fruit, cardamom, cedarwood and conifer notes with a touch of black liquorice. Succulent red cherry and plums intermix with a minty freshness framed by chocolaty tannins through a mineral-driven finish. Grows sumptuously earthy with time in the glass, rich in red currants and tobacco spices. Really quite splendid. (JC)" (12/2023)
Current Bid: $140.10

Bid on this bottle of 2019 MacDonald Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 98VN, 97WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is another incredibly brilliant wine from this estate that's up with the greatest wines in the vintage (and the world). From a tiny parcel of very old vines in the To Kalon Vineyard, it reveals a semi-opaque deep purple color to go with an incredible nose of crème de cassis, black olive, iron, tobacco, and lead pencil. As textbook Oakville as it gets with its darker, herbal, yet powerful style, it's medium to full-bodied and has a wonderful sense of elegance and purity, silky tannins, and a great, great finish. It certainly offers incredible pleasure today, as do most 2019s, yet it deserves 4-6 years of bottle age and I suspect will be 30+ year wine. If you get a chance to buy this, do it." (12/2021)
Current Bid: $530.00

Bid on this 3-half-bottle lot of 2013 d'Yquem, Sauternes (375ml) (98JS, (96-98WE), 98WS, 96RP, (93-96ST), 96TWI, 92VN). Wine Enthusiast: The beautifully aromatic, honeyed scent leads into flavors of bitter orange and honey, along with extreme freshness. Notes of white peach and Rocha pear give richness to a wine that is not huge, but wonderfully balanced. (RV) (04/2014)
Current Bid: $415.00

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot; including 3-bottles of 2014 Byington "Blend 38 - Tin Cross Vineyard" Alexander Valley Red Blend, 2-bottles of 2014 Byington "Pine Mountain - Tin Cross Vineyard" Alexander Valley Red Blend, and 1-bottle of 2015 Byington "Pine Mountain - Tin Cross Vineyard" Alexander Valley Red Blend. Of the 2014 Byington "Blend 38 - Tin Cross Vineyard" Alexander Valley Red Blend, Situated on 95 acres in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Byington Vineyard & Winery produced its first vintage of wine in 1987. In 2013, the winery was purchased by Los Altos Vineyards, which invested in updating the winemaking facilities and acquiring more estate vineyards.
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Di Costanzo "Caldwell Vineyard" Cooombsville Cabernet Sauvignon (96VN). Vinous: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Caldwell Vineyard is a bold, sumptuous wine loaded with all the savory nuance and complexity that are such signatures of Coombsville. Iron, leather, blood orange, sage, tobacco and cedar lend striking aromatic nuance to this rich, structured Cabernet Sauvignon. A heady, exotic beauty, the Caldwell is an absolute jewel of a wine that becomes more and more elegant with time and aeration. (Drink between 2024-2038)" (01/2022)
Current Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JD, 98VN, 97JS, 96RP). Vinous: "The 2018 The Bard is fabulous and also one of the very finest wines I have ever tasted from Realm. Vertical structure, power and explosive energy infuse the 2018 with tremendous character. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, leather, licorice and lavender are some of the many notes that run through the 2018. This is the first vintage that includes a dollop of Petite Sirah from Bourn. It is also the first vintage in which a portion of the wine was aged in concrete eggs, which seems to add tension and a palpable sense of vibrancy. The Bard is a blend of 40 different lots, everything from Calistoga to Coombsville, a marriage of elements that works so well. Although none of these wines could be referred to as inexpensive, The Bard is a tremendous relative value within the context of high-end Napa Valley. I loved it. (AG)" (01/2020)
Current Bid: $390.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Tor Kenward "Cimarossa Vineyard" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (95WS, 93JS, 93RP, 92DC). Wine Spectator: "Combines power, authority and grace, with full-throttle Cabernet flavors built around wild berry, blackberry, currant, cedar, tobacco and licorice notes. This is defined by elegance, finesse and integrated tannins." (02/2017)
Current Bid: $99.00

Bid on this 7-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2003 Ridge Vineyards "Jimsomare" Santa Cruz Mountains Zinfandel, 1-bottle of 2013 Ridge Vineyards "Jimsomare" Santa Cruz Mountains Zinfandel, 1-bottle of 2016 Ridge Vineyards "Jimsomare" Santa Cruz Mountains Zinfandel, 2-bottles of 2017 Ridge Vineyards "Jimsomare" Santa Cruz Mountains Zinfandel ((92-94RP)), 1-bottle of 2018 Ridge Vineyards "Jimsomare" Santa Cruz Mountains Zinfandel, and 1-bottle of 2020 Ridge Vineyards "Jimsomare" Santa Cruz Mountains Zinfandel. Of the 2017 Ridge Vineyards "Jimsomare" Santa Cruz Mountains Zinfandel, Wine Advocate writes: "There are seven barrels of the 2017 Zinfandel Jimsomare, an attractive wine that reveals pretty aromas of raspberries, currants, rose petal and spice. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, juicy and intensely concentrated, with fine, chalky tannins and a long, penetrating finish. It's a singular example of Zinfandel grown at high altitude in calcareous soils. (WK)" (05/2018)
Current Bid: $213.00

Bid on this bottle of 2020 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (97JS, 96DC, (93-95RP), 94JD, 94VN, 94WS). James Suckling: "This amazing Chateauneuf-du-Pape squares the circle of southern richness and spring-like freshness in spite of coming from a very warm and dry vintage. The stony minerality, saltiness and dried flower character wind together to form a dynamic whole, driving this gracefully across the palate. But I must also mention the savory and licorice richness that is so deftly wrapped around them. Very long, salty and velvety finish. " (04/2023)
Current Bid: $73.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 William & Mary Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Antonio Galloni writes for Vinous: "Will Segui is the General Manager at Rivers-Marie and makes these wines with his wife, Mary, sourcing fruit from her parents’ vineyard. The wines have been superb for a few years, but the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon takes things into the stratosphere." (12/2020)
Current Bid: $156.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Poggio di Sotto Brunello di Montalcino (98JD, 97RP, 97VN, 97WS, 95DC, 94JS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2016 Brunello Di Montalcino has a bright ruby hue and offers lifted and focused aromas of red cherries, orange zest, fresh roses, and stony earth. Medium-bodied and linear, it offers a vibrant energy with fresh acidity, refined, compact tannins, and a long finish. An outstanding vintage from Poggio di Sotto, this is one for the long haul. (AF)" (02/2024)
Current Bid: $555.00

Bid on this bottle of 1982 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (97JD, 96DC, 96RP, 95VN, 95WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "I loved this bottle of 1982 Cos d'Estournel, and it was easily the best bottle I’ve had of this wine, which has always shown slightly tired and over the hill for me. It shows classic, even youthful notes of lead pencil, currants and saddle leather, was full-bodied, had beautiful depth of fruit, and a great, great finish, all pointing to a fully mature yet grand Saint Estephe." (08/2018)
Current Bid: $460.00

Bid on this bottle of 1985 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91RP, 90WS). Wine Advocate: "It reveals a lavishly oaked, smoky, jammy, blackcurrant-scented nose, sweet, round, glycerin-imbued, full-bodied flavors, and excellent purity, ripeness, and length. (RP)" (04/1995)
Current Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 6 liter of 1988 Cosentino "Cos" Napa Valley Meritage (6L). According to James Laube of Wine Spectator: "Called Cos at the time this was bottled, the name was later changed to M. Coz when Château Cos d'Estournel contested. A blend: 68 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 14 percent Cabernet Franc, 11 percent Petit Verdot, 7 percent Merlot."
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this bottle of 2011 Alban "Pandora" Edna Valley Rhône Blend (95RP). Wine Advocate: "Incorporating 10% Syrah, the Grenache-dominated 2011 Pandora comes from a single block of chalky soils in the Seymour's Vineyard. More floral and exotic than the straight Grenache release, it has beautiful currant, blackberry, violets, toasted spice and licorice aromas and flavors all emerging from the glass. (JD)" (08/2015)
Current Bid: $115.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1999 Latour, Pauillac (94JD, 94RP, 93WS, 92VN). Wine Advocate: "The 1999 Latour doesn't quite dominate the competition the way the 1994 does, but it, too, is a lovely wine, exhibiting notes of blackcurrants, cigar wrapper, rich soil tones and creamy new oak. Medium to full-bodied, deep and impressively concentrated, with velvety tannins, ripe acids and a long, expansive finish, it is showing beautifully today. (WK)" (02/2022)
Current Bid: $765.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Joseph Phelps "Backus" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97WE, 96RP, 92ST, 92WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Price be damned, this is an authentically gorgeous, important Cabernet Sauvignon. It calls to mind the amazing 2001, with its huge, perfect tannins and acids and artistic appliqué of new oak. But the star of the show surely is the fruit. Mounds of ripe blackberries and cherries pile up, veering into currants and cassis and something wild and decadently animal, like charred meat. Fabulous now despite the firm tannins, and should evolve for many years." (05/2009)
Current Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2019 Alter Ego de Palmer, Margaux (96JS, 95DC, 94JD, 94VN, 93JA) and 1-bottle of 2020 Alter Ego de Palmer, Margaux (96JS, 94DC, 94JD, 94VN, 93JA, 93RP). Of the 2019 Alter Ego de Palmer, Margaux, James Suckling writes: "Intense aromas of blackcurrants, cedar and ripe tobacco with hints of violets, following through to a full-bodied palate with extremely refined tannins that are well-integrated into the wine and are long and subtle at the finish. Such precision and harmony with structure. From biodynamically grown grapes. Best after 2023." (02/2022)
Current Bid: $135.00

Bid on this bottle of 1978 Robert Mondavi "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (94JG, 94WE, 90RP). Wine Enthusiast: "Still good color, getting a pretty bouquet of old cabernet. Delicate, inviting, refined, not at all morbid. Very dry, lots of weak cassis. Soft, distinguished, still lots of life ahead. Sweet vanilla, butter. Old claret. *Editors' Choice*" (06/2005)
Current Bid: $165.00

Bid on this magnum of 2017 Kinsman Eades "Rhadamanthus" Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 96WS, 94VN) in original wood. Wine Spectator: "This is throwing off all kinds of vibrant violet, sweet tobacco, lilac, singed alder, juniper and sweet bay leaf accents, while the prodigious core of steeped plum, blackberry and black currant fruit waits in reserve. A cast iron bolt through the finish keeps everything in line, and when the fruit unwinds fully, this should deliver a pretty unique experience. Best from 2023 through 2038. 106 cases made. (JM, Web-2021)"
Current Bid: $605.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2016 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour - Private Reserve" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 97JD, 97RP, 96VN) and 1-bottle of 2019 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour - Private Reserve" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (100JS, 99JD, 97DC, 97VN, 97WE). Of the 2019 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour - Private Reserve" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon, James Suckling writes: "**#1 World Wine of the Year 2022** Wow! The aromas to this are really exceptional, with a tangerine edge to the blackcurrants, graphite, lead pencil, flowers and wet earth. It changes all the time. So expressive and refined. Full-bodied with great intensity and depth of fruit. The ultra-fine tannins display millions of layers. " (05/2022)
Current Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2022 Ceritas "Charles Heintz Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (96JD) and 2-bottles of 2022 Ceritas "TBH Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (94JD). Of the 2022 Ceritas "Charles Heintz Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "From an esteemed vineyard planted in the 1980s, the 2022 Chardonnay Charles is a highly appealing and attractive wine out of the gate. On opening, it pours a bright silver straw hue and is forward and highly expressive with notes of salted pineapple, fresh citrus blossoms, orange zest, and lifted mineral accents. Medium-bodied to full-bodied, it boasts wonderful fresh, juicy intensity through the palate. It is emblematic of the 2022 vintage, which offers a wide drinking window, as it’s a pleasure to drink now, and it should have some real longevity over the coming 10-12 years. (AF)" (06/2024)
Current Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2020 Aubert "Larry Hyde and Sons Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay (96JS, 96RP, 96WS). Wine Advocate: "A cool, late-harvest site relative to Aubert's other sources, the 2020 Chardonnay Larry Hyde & Sons also sees a bit less new French oak (50%). Readers will note that the oak made virtually no impression on me, as the wine bursts with aromas of ripe, honeyed melon, balanced by bright lime notes. Full-bodied, creamy and lush on the palate, this is just a pleasure to drink, finishing long and zesty. (JC)" (12/2022)
Current Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2019 Chimney Rock Stags Leap District Merlot, 1-bottle of 2021 Chimney Rock "White Pebble" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2-bottles of 2021 Chimney Rock Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (96IWR, 95JD, 94TWI, 94WS, 93DC, 93JS, 92RP). Of the 2021 Chimney Rock Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon, Int'l Wine Review writes: "The 2021 Stags Leap Estate Cabernet from Chimney Rock is a mélange of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 3% Merlot, 0.5% Petit Verdot, and 0.5% Malbec that is made with estate fruit from the winery. It’s aged 18 months in new French Oak and delivers refined notes of black plums, cassis, cedary herbs, sandalwood, tobacco, sweet vanilla and baking spices. Tannins are crunchy but wonderfully integrated into the backbone of the wine alongside a spine of rich acidity. Another winner from Chimney Rock. Highly recommended. (JY)" (01/2024)
Current Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2022 Domaine de la Côte "Bloom's Field" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (95DC, 95WS), 1-bottle of 2022 Domaine de la Côte "DDLC" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (91VN), and 1-bottle of 2022 Domaine de la Côte "Memorious" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (95WS). Of the 2022 Domaine de la Côte "Bloom's Field" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir, Wine Spectator writes: "A juicy, well-built red, with a structured core of dark cherry and boysenberry fruit harnessed by streaks of wet stone, savory and tobacco, while bay and sandalwood hints peek in on the finish. This is still tight, coiled and steely, but the energy is there for unfurling in the cellar. Best from 2025 through 2038. (JM)" (05/2024)
Current Bid: $226.18

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2022 Kistler "Laguna Ridge Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (96JD, 96VN, 95JS, 95RP, 95TWI). Vinous: "The 2022 Pinot Noir Laguna Ridge is dark, pliant and super-expressive right out of the gate. At the same time, it is also quite closed structurally, which I take as a positive sign for its future development. Black cherry, lavender, sage, mint and dried flowers build beautifully in the glass. There's gorgeous textural depth and intensity here. (AG)" (01/2024)

The Wine Independent: "Medium to deep ruby-purple colored, the 2021 Pinot Noir Running Fence Vineyard Cuvee Catherine is a little closed to start, slowly unfurling to reveal notes of juicy blackberries, boysenberries, and black raspberries, giving way to wafts of tar, damp soil, moss, and, eventually, lilacs. The medium-bodied palate is tightly wound and super-intense, delivering a racy backbone and fine-grained tannins to support the earth-laced black fruit flavors, finishing long and minerally. Of the 2009 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Decanter writes: "This was the first year the team used their new berry assessment protocol, which they credit for being able to harvest the grapes at peak flavour. Luckily that happened before a typhoon dropped 6 inches of rain on one day. It’s a mulberry, black cherry and earth kind of wine, with strong floral and graphite aromas. The long core of warm fruit is very sweet and spicy. (EM)" (09/2019)

Of the 2018 Argiano Brunello di Montalcino, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Like a good Valentine's Day party, everything is shades of red on the vibrant, sanguine nose, from strawberries and cranberries to savory notes of pennies, brick and crisp leather. Citrus joins the cranberries on a bright, acidic palate, but a meaty, bitter finish creates balance. Dynamic fruit stands up to authoritative, unapologetic tannins. (DG)" (12/2023)
