Bid on this bottle of 2021 Next Of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Número Siete" Central Coast Touriga Nacional (98VN, 94RP). Vinous: "The 2021 Touriga Nacional - Número Siete is terrific, but it is also a very young wine that will need time in bottle to blossom. All of the pedigree of this great vintage comes through loud and clear. Readers should plan on cellaring this for at least a few years. Dried herbs, lavender, licorice and cool, blue-toned fruit are all beautifully delineated throughout. Dollops of Syrah and Petit Manseng round out the blend, with an added kick of floral nuance from the 11% stems. 98+ (AG)" (07/2024)
Current Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2008 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 97VN, 95CG, 95RP, 94WS, 93JS, 93WE) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Insignia is a towering, statuesque wine bursting with blackberry jam, tar, spices, leather and licorice. It shows fabulous depth and richness backed up by serious, imposing tannins that suggest it has a long life. Ideally, the 2008 should be purchased by those who can be patient; it is not a wine for those seeking immediate gratification. The blend is 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot and 4% Malbec. (AG)" (12/2011)
Current Bid: $960.00

Bid on this magnum of 2015 Giacomo Conterno "Francia" Barolo (1.5L) (98VN, 97RP). Vinous: "The 2015 Barolo Francia is a soaring, regal wine endowed with tremendous intensity in all of its dimensions. The most reticent and inward of the 2015s, the Francia possesses superb textural density and persistence all the way through to the explosive finish. An immense, towering Barolo, the Francia is positively stellar. It is also going to require a number of years to be at its best. In recent years, the Conterno Barolo Francia has often been relatively accessible post bottling, the 2015 is far from that. (AG)" (11/2019)
Current Bid: $410.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Aubert "CIX" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (99RP, 96VN, 93WS). Wine Advocate: "(Note from 2013 review, re-reviewed with no new note in 2014) A wine that stood out for its complexity and intensity was the 2012 Chardonnay CIX Estate. Planted with the Reuling clone of Chardonnay, this vineyard is situated next to the vineyard from which Mark Aubert makes the Lauren Chardonnay. There are only 600 cases of this prodigious wine. The vines were planted in 2007, so this is only the fifth leaf, but, wow, what a Chardonnay. Copious notes of pineapple, mango, and guava along with wet stone, caramelized citrus, tangerine, and orange marmalade characteristics are followed by a wine with a full-bodied mouthfeel as well as remarkable purity, texture, and intensity. (RP)" (12/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2021 Kistler "Hudson Vineyard" Carneros Chardonnay (97JS, 96VN, 95JD, 95RP). James Suckling: "A very wild and tropical Hudson chard with distinctive aromas and flavors of dried pineapple, pear and cooked lemon with some pie crust. Plenty of phenolic tension, too. Flavorful finish. Beeswax. Zip of acidity at the end." (03/2023)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2021 Occidental "SWK Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (99JD, 98VN, 97DC, 97RP, 96WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "Coming from the coldest section of the property with its exposure to the coastal winds, the 2021 Pinot Noir SWK Vineyard pours a jeweled ruby red hue and is toasty and expressive on the nose, with notes of fresh black cherries, red berries, rosehip, and smoky incense. This medium-bodied Pinot Noir sports a great deal of energy and tension, with coiled, fine tannins, a chalky texture, racy acidity, and a seamless, linear finish. It promises a good deal of longevity and will be best left in cellar for another couple of years to give it time to unfurl. (AF)" (06/2024)
Current Bid: $227.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Cobb Wines "Diane Cobb: Coastlands Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.
Current Bid: $216.00

Bid on this 3 liter of 2005 Shafer "Hillside Select" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (3L) (OWC - 99RP, (94-97ST), 94W&S, 93CG, 92WS) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "One of the world’s great wines and profound expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon, is the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select. This wine spends more than 30 months in 100% new oak, and, year in year out, has been one of the most singular and profound examples of Cabernet Sauvignon in the world. It seems Shafer began to ratchet up performance during the 1990s, and the first decade of the 21st century has provided a treasure trove of either perfect or nearly perfect wines, including the 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2007 and more recently the 2010, 2012 and, in all likelihood, the 2013. (RP)" (06/2015)
Current Bid: $860.00

Bid on this bottle of 1989 Angélus, St-Émilion (97JA, 96JD, 96VN, 95WS, 94RP). Jane Anson: "Almost nothing left at the estate, and hard to find globally. Hard not to gulp down also, as this is delicious. Tobacco, orange peel, baked earth, Christmas spice and sweet raspberry fruits dominate on the opening beats. Melted and silky tannins, we are in full cigar box, leather, sweet liquorice, black truffle and camphor territory. A brilliant wine, at its peak drinking, showcasing seductive tertiary flavours. This was made just a few years after Hubert de Boüard took over full control, and it reflects the fact that something special was happening at Angélus at the time." (06/2022)
Current Bid: $380.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 98JD, 98VN, 97JS). Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr Crane Vineyard displays an opaque purple-black color. It saunters confidently out of the glass with compelling notes of warm black plums, blackcurrant cordial, Morello cherries and black raspberries followed by an opulent perfume of exotic spices, dusty soil, rose oil and crushed rocks with a waft of sandalwood. Full-bodied, rich, seductive and so, so spicy, the palate possesses a multitude of savory, earth and preserved fruit layers, framed by an achingly beautiful velvety texture and seamless freshness, finishing long, long, long—truly showing off its latent power. Like a gorgeous intellectual, this is a wine that will absolutely turn heads and create a stir. (LPB)" (10/2020)
Current Bid: $865.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Justin "Isosceles" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend (94WE, 91RP, 91VN). Wine Enthusiast: "The Paso pioneer's annual bottling of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc does not disappoint, offering aromas of plump, dark blueberry, tart Bing cherry and bay leaf. The palate offers crushed herbs—from oregano and thyme to rosemary and dill - alongside more blueberry fruit and a solid yet smooth tannic structure. (MK)" (03/2016)
Current Bid: $84.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Scarecrow "M. Étain" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 96JD, 96RP, 93VN, 92WS) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "The M. Étain comes mainly from a dry-farmed block at the toe of the lower block of the Scarecrow vineyard. The fruit is usually selected to be a little chewier and more fruit forward than Scarecrow. A blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot, 6% Malbec and 3% Merlot, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon M. Étain is very deep purple-black in color and is a little youthfully mute to begin, opening out to reveal notes of crushed black and red currants, black cherries, warm plums and tilled black soil with hints of bay leaves, lavender, chargrill and unsmoked cigars plus a waft of pencil shavings. Full-bodied, rich, bold and seductive in the mouth, it has a firm frame of wonderfully ripe, fine-grained tannins and fantastic freshness lifting the red and black fruit layers with a long, earth-laced finish. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Current Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Vina Artadi El Pison Rioja (98RP, 94WE). Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Vina El Pison, one of the first single-vineyard wines in Rioja, is sourced from the Tempranillo vines planted by Juan Carlos Lopez de Lacalle’s grandfather in 1945. The 2.4-hectare vineyard is located in Laguardia, very close to the winery, at 480 meters above sea level. The destemmed grapes ferment in open wooden vats and the wine ages for 15 months in French oak barrels. Ever-changing in the glass, it moves from one set of aromas when just opened to the next one in a matter of minutes, switching from cherries to violets, the cinnamon turns into nutmeg, then it is raspberries, and even blood oranges." (12/2013)
Current Bid: $454.44

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2008 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Claret (94WS, 93RP, 93ST, 93WE). Wine Spectator: "Rich and beautifully structured, with vivid aromas of red currant, fresh earth and toasty oak and intense yet still supple flavors of cherry and cedar. Tannins are dense but ripe. (TF) " (02/2012)
Starting Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Linne Calodo "Outsider" Paso Robles Red Blend (93RP, 93ST, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "As opposed to some of the other Zinfandel based wines here, the 2010 Outsider has a darker fruit profile and more textural depth. The 2010 is juicy, inviting and full-bodied all the way through to the seamless finish. This is another gorgeous wine from Linne Calodo. The 2010 is 80% Zinfandel, 17% Syrah and 3% Mourvedre from Heaton. The 2010 spent 25 days on the skins and was aged in a combination of American and French oak barrels. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2020. (AG)" (08/2012)
Current Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Turley "Whitney Tennessee Vineyard" Napa Valley Zinfandel ((93-95VN), 92RP). Vinous: "The 2018 Zinfandel Whitney Tennessee is powerful, dense and savory. Beams of supporting tannin give the wine its distinctive textural feel. A wine of energy and real drive, the 2018 is likely to need a bit of bottle age, as it is very much reticent today. Even so, it is gorgeous and compelling, just in need of time. (AG)" (01/2020)
Current Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Tusk Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Tusk Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced primarily from Oakville and Prichard Hill with amounts of fruit from several other sub-appellations throughout Napa Valley. On this current vintage Phillipe Melka notes, "Born from a resounding vintage and a deep philosophy of luxury and excellence, the 11th vintage of Tusk may indeed be the most spectacular offering to date.”
Current Bid: $1,260.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 98JS, 98RP, 98VN, 98WS, 97JD, 95DC) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2014 Harlan Estate is a gorgeous wine that portends the more linear, vibrant style that has become the norm here in recent years. Red cherry, plum, mocha, graphite, lavender and rose petal unfurl in the glass. There's a bit of oak tannin that's not really an issue, but it does stand out next to the overall feel of the most recent vintages that preceded it in this tasting. The 2014 Harlan Estate is a gorgeous, alluring wine that will delight readers lucky enough to own it. Superb. (AG)" (01/2025)
Current Bid: $2,060.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2006 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien (95DC, 95JS, 95RP, 95WE, 95WS, 94VN) and 1-bottle of 2012 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien (96WE, 95JD, 95RP, 94JA, 94WS, 93JS, 93VN, 92DC). Of the 2012 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien, Wine Enthusiast writes: "This combines considerable power and concentration with rich, impressive fruits. It has both style and elegance, with density to give it great aging potential. The tannins are firm while also having a velvet texture. The wine, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, is for serious aging. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (05/2015)
Current Bid: $281.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Hourglass "HG III" Napa Valley Red Blend (90WS). Wine Spectator: "Sleek and focused, but tightly wound for now. Floral blueberry and cherry aromas lead to layered flavors of blackberry, mineral and herb. The tannins ease in on the finish. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. (TF)" (11/2015)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Of the 2023 Williams Selyem "Westside Road Neighbors" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Wine Spectator writes: "This is inviting, with singed wood spice, black tea and apple wood aromatics giving way to a core of brambly black cherry and blackberry compote notes. The juicy, fresh, energetic finish is absolutely delicious. Best from 2026 through 2036. (JM)" (06/2025)
Current Bid: $195.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (98RP, 98VN, 96JS). Vinous: "The 2017 Chardonnay Eastside Vineyard is one of the more overt wines in this range. Lemon confit, tangerine, marzipan, white flowers all develop in this overt, plush Chardonnay. This Russian River site, planted with Montrachet clone Chardonnay, yields wines of real distinction. The 2017 was breathtaking when I tasted it from tank prior to bottling. It is all that, and more, today. What a wine! (AG)" (05/2019)
Current Bid: $197.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Corison Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95IWR, 95JG, 94DC, 91CG, 91VN). John Gilman: "Cathy Corison’s 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon is her twenty-fifth harvest at her own winery, and not surprisingly the queen of Napa Valley elegance has produced a stellar wine in the cooler year of 2011. The wine is a ripe, but suave 13.7% and wafts from the glass in a stellar constellation of red and black cherries, a fair bit of Rutherford Dust, tobacco leaf, beautiful soil tones, a hint of eucalyptus, fresh herb tones and a very refined base of new oak.!" (05/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1982 Léoville-Barton, St-Julien (91ST). Int'l Wine Cellar: "Red-ruby. Highly aromatic nose of raspberry, redcurrant, graphite, licorice and cedar. Leanish, dry and classic, with firm acidity but less flesh than the '96. Lovely traditionally made claret, with terrific finesse and grip. Still evolving. (ST) 91+" (08/2002)
Current Bid: $410.00

Bid on this magnum of 2021 Kistler "Laguna Ridge Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (1.5L) (98JD, 98RP, 97JS, 97VN, 97WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2021 Chardonnay Laguna Ridge Vineyard is vibrant yet powerful. Bottled only in magnums, it opens slowly to wafts of matchstick and roasted almonds before revealing its core of lemon and apricot fruit. The medium-bodied palate features concentrated, expansive flavors that blossom dramatically from almonds to peach, spring honey and spice, yet its vibrant acidity creates a shimmery feel. It has a luxurious, satiny texture and a hauntingly long finish. Wow! (EB)" (08/2023)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 G.B. Burlotto "Monvigliero" Barolo (100VN, 99DC, 98WE, 97RP, 96JD, 96WS, 95JG). Vinous: "Burlotto’s 2013 Barolo Monvigliero is a wine I like to serve at dinners like this one, as I know most people may never taste it, which is a shame. Of course, the 2013 is young, but its profound greatness is evident in the early going, The interplay of aromatics, fruit and structure really brings out the stunning beauty of the Monvigliero cru. The 2013 is simply a phenomenal wine and a towering achievement from Fabio Alessandria. (AG)" (11/2019)
Current Bid: $1,080.00

Bid on this bottle of 1986 Latour, Pauillac. Wine Advocate: "Tasted from my cellar, the 1986 has consistently been outstanding, falling short of being sublime. The spicy, peppery bouquet reveals aromas of dried herbs and red currant fruit. (RP)" (06/2000)
Current Bid: $330.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1985 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac (97DC, 95VN, 95WS, 94RP). Decanter: "It is tough to put into words how much I love this wine, alongside its slightly more concentrated cousin, Leoville Las Cases from the same vintage. They are both classic examples of what the very best of Bordeaux should be. The Lynch Bages is loaded with everything you want from mature Pauillac: cedar, cigar box, menthol, a touch of red fruit and the kind of feeling that you are finally home. There is no outlying tannin but is slightly lighter in style than both the 1982 and 1986. In the two dozen or so times that I have drunk this wine it has never been anything short of spectacular. Textbook. There is no benefit from waiting, but there is also no rush. (GB)" (02/2023)
Current Bid: $1,050.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (99JS, 98JD, 97JA, 97RP, 97VN, 97WE, 96TWI, 96WS, 95DC). James Suckling: "The purity of fruit in this is fascinating with plums, currants and other dark fruits. Then there is another layer of spices and chocolate. So much cassis. Full and very layered with chewy polished tannins and a long, long finish. Just starting to open. Changes all the time." (09/2015)
Current Bid: $442.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 100RP, 98JS, 96VN). Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr Crane Vineyard is opaque purple-black colored, prancing out of the glass with vibrant notions of blueberry preserves, black cherry compote and blackcurrant cordial, plus nuances of pencil lead, tapenade, violets, mocha and crushed rocks. The full-bodied palate is built like a brick house, featuring very firm, fine, densely pixilated Dr. Crane tannins and bold freshness supporting layer upon layer of crunchy black berries and minerals, featuring a firework display of fragrant earth and floral notes on the long, long, long finish. Right up there with Napa Valley’s greatest, this is going to be a legendary wine. Give it a good 5-7 years to really fan out and drink it over the next 30 years+. (LPB)" (09/2021)
Current Bid: $910.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey St-Aubin 1er Cru "Champlots". Vinous: "Bright yellow-green. Aromas of nectarine, white pepper and herbs. Juicy, clean, smaller-scaled wine with a fine-grained texture and good energy. Spice and mineral flavors carry through to a perfumed finish featuring sneaky length. The crop here was barely one-quarter of normal, according to Colin, who added that his yields in Saint-Aubin ranged from 11 to 15 hectoliters per hectare in 2016. (ST)" (09/2017)
Current Bid: $160.00

Bid on this bottle of 2003 Saxum "Rocket Block - James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97JD, 97RP, 94VN). Decadent and hedonistic to the max, with layers of blackberry, black raspberry, spice, tobacco leaf, cured meats and licorice, this beauty hits the palate with full-bodied richness and depth, fantastic purity and a sweet, unctuous profile that’s hard to resist. (JD)" (07/2014)

Although limited in availability (220 cases produced), it is a wine of awesome intensity boasting an opaque purple color in addition to a brilliant floral-scented bouquet displaying aromas of cassis, black raspberries, black fruit, and forest floor. Multilayered with terrific intensity as well as a long, nearly 60-second finish, this flawlessly assembled wine is a brilliant example of Cabernet Sauvignon from the St. Helena hillsides. Aged in 40% new French oak for 20 months prior to bottling, just under 600 cases of this wine were made. This is a stunner, made primarily from clone 337 with a little of clone 15. A wine of incredible intensity with an inky purple color, its notes of pen ink, graphite, blackberry and blueberry fruit as well as classic cassis are followed by a full-bodied, voluptuously textured, terrific wine with a multi-layered mouthfeel and incredible length. Of the 2014 Tablas Creek "Esprit de Tablas" Paso Robles Rhône Blend, Vinous writes: "Vivid ruby-red. Expansive, spice-accented aromas of red and blue fruit liqueur, Asian spices and candied flowers are lifted by a minerally nuance. Silky, broad and alluringly sweet in the mouth, offering sappy black raspberry, boysenberry and lavender pastille flavors that become more energetic with air. In a seamless, elegant style. A refreshing jolt of minerality adds focus and cut to the impressively long, youthfully tannic finish. (JR)" (11/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine du Pégaü "Cuvée Réservée" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (98RP, 97WS, 95VN, 93W&S, 93WE). Wine Advocate: "Looking at the 2010s and a brilliant vintage for Laurence, the 2010 Châteauneuf du Pape offers up classic Pegau aromas and flavors of ripe dark fruits, garrigue, cured meats, tobacco leaf, saddle leather and hints of game. Full-bodied and beautifully concentrated, it offers a seamless, layered profile on the palate with thrilling mid-palate depth, sweet, yet substantial tannin, and a blockbuster finish that stays fresh and beautifully focused. Quite polished by this estates standards, it nevertheless screams southern France and I doubt it’s possible to have too much of this beauty in the cellar. (JD)" (10/2013)
Current Bid: $195.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Gallica Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 94ST, 94VN, 94WS). Wine Advocate: "I also tasted an Amador County Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre blend from the Shaker Ridge Ranch that I thought was excellent, but this report is about Napa Valley, so it is not included in these reviews. However, Gallica’s 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is a winner! A blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 7% Petit Verdot, it combines power and elegance in a full-bodied style with good structure, sweet but noticeable tannin and authoritative flavor intensity (black currants, licorice, underbrush and unsmoked cigar tobacco). This deep, penetrating, intense Cabernet reveals admirably integrated acidity, tannin, alcohol and wood. Enjoy this impressive 2010 now and over the next two decades. (RP)" (10/2013)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Glaetzer "Amon-Ra" Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia (96JH, 93ST, 92RP, 90WS). James Halliday: "Vibrant colour; saturated black fruits, fruitcake, licorice and an element of tar; terrific purity and drive, and despite the power, the palate is lithe and supple; complex, compelling and certainly representative of the very essence of the region." Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (96RP, 96WS). Wine Advocate: "Sweet aromas of ripe cherries, black currants, plums, smoky barbecue, licorice and forest floor jump from the glass of this broad, savory, full-bodied, young, vibrant Pinot Noir. At age eight, it is just beginning to develop secondary nuances. It should continue to evolve for another decade, offering sumptuous drinking for at least 10-15 more years. This is another great success in a fabulous line-up. (RP)" (06/2014)

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2018 L'Aventure Côte a Côte Estate Paso Robles Rhône Blend (1.5L) (98JD, 96JS, 95DC, 95VN, 94RP). Jeb Dunnuck: Straight-up sexy, the 2018 Cote A Cote is a Grenache-dominated blend that includes 26% Mourvèdre and 23% Syrah, all aged in 35% new French oak. Stunning notes of black raspberries, ground pepper, Asian spices, and candied violets all flow to a full-bodied, concentrated wine that reminds me of a great vintage of Domaine de la Janasse's Châteauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes cuvée. It shows more chalky minerality with time in the glass and is pure, seamless, and beautifully put together. (09/2020)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Vietti "Rocche di Castiglione" Barolo (97VN, 96JS, 96RP). Vinous: "The 2013 Barolo Rocche di Castiglione is ample, generous and also surprisingly rich. The more intense, voluptuous side of Rocche comes through loud and clear. Even with all of its textural depth, the Rocche possesses superb aromatic intensity and nuance. The 2013 is an unusually rich, racy Rocche, with tons of mid-palate richness. In many vintages, the Rocche is open-knit and sensual, which gives it a certain amount of early accessibility. I don't see much of that in the 2013. Readers will have to be patient here. (AG)" (02/2017)

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2008 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (93RP, 93WS, 91VN). Wine Advocate: "With more graphite, blueberry and lilac notes, sweet tannin, medium to full body, and an elegant, gracious feel, it is more restrained than previous examples but has no shortage of richness and concentration. It looks to be a beauty in a Bordeaux style, with sweet tannins but loads of fruit--unmistakably California but French in structure. Drink it over the next 15+ years. (RP)" (12/2010)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Raymond Usseglio "Cuvée Imperiale" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (98RP). Wine Advocate: "One of the most singular wines out there is the 2007 Châteauneuf du Pape Cuvée Impériale. Made from 100% very old vine Grenache and aged in tank, it offers a sensational bouquet of spring flowers, peach pit, black raspberries, violets and mint. Full-bodied, unctuous and layered, with an enormous mid-palate, it has silky tannin, incredible depth and a great, great finish. This beauty just glides across the palate and has another decade or more of prime drinking. (JD)" (02/2017)
