A tried and true favorite, it is a Sangiovese-based wine cut with a small component of Cabernet for rich aromas of red fruit and spice. It is elegant, harmonious and long-lasting on the finish. *Cellar Selection* " (04/2008)

Bid on this bottle of Barton Distillery 1792 Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (90WA). Whisky Advocate: "Think carnival aromas—the good ones, anyway—meeting the campfire. Cracker Jacks, cinnamon-covered almonds, popcorn, cotton candy, marshmallows melting over graham crackers, and hints of smoldering oak. Next, coconut, caramel, and cocoa over a buttery mouthfeel with hints of toffee, banana, baked apple, and pumpkin pie appear. Toward the end, hints of black pepper and raspberry strudel surface in a medium to long finish. (FM, Spring 2018)"

Bid on this bottle of Old Forester "1920 Prohibition Style" Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky (91WA). Whisky Advocate: "The perfect proof. Rich in color, aroma, and flavor. It begins with powerful caramel, baking spice, chocolate, cherries, cinnamon, and toffee. Then nuance and complexity. Honey, jalapeño, rosemary, crème brûlée, malt, and fruit, from the spicy citrus of grapefruit to prunes and dried apricots. Hard to believe this is over 100 proof, as you never sense the strength challenging you to find what’s next amidst the subtlety. Extremely long finish with cherry, cinnamon, and caramel. Value Pick. (FM, Winter 2016)"

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Julien Fayard "Classic" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Julien Fayard started small, honing his skills with rosé at his family's winery in Provence before moving on to the big time at Lafite Rothschild and Smith Haut Laffite in Bordeaux. That is until Napa came calling; first as director of winemaking for Philippe Melka (also a Napa valley transplant by way of Bordeaux and consultant on brands such as Hundred Acre and Cliff Lede, just to new a few) and now as consultant on a number of highly visible brands himself.
Current Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Favia Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 97RP, 97VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The gem in the 2016s is undeniably the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville, which is all Cabernet Sauvignon from the Oakville Ranch vineyard located just above Dalla Valle. This monumental beauty boasts a deep inky color, a huge nose of crème de cassis, crushed rocks, lead pencil shavings, and obvious rocky minerality, full-bodied richness, and tannins and structure galore. It’s going to be a candidate for perfection in 5-7 years and will see its 30th birthday in fine form. It’s a brilliant, brilliant wine." (01/2019)
Current Bid: $381.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Donelan "Obsidian Vineyard" Knights Valley Syrah (96VN, 95JD, 94RP, 93JS, 93WE). Vinous: "A wonderfully complete wine, the 2015 Syrah Obsidian Vineyard is powerful and yet also translucent. Inky blue/purplish fruit, lavender, smoke, game and grilled herbs abound in a wine of texture, power and finesse. Syrahs from Obsidian can be a bit brutish, but Donelan's 2015 is decidedly sophisticated and polished. Sadly, the vineyard completely burned down in the October fire, and it will naturally be a few years before it is replanted and back in production. (AG)" (04/2018)
Current Bid: $110.00

Bid on this 1-500 ml bottle lot of Nagahama Edition Thunderbird 2 Japanese Blended Malt Whisky (500ml).
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this bottle of Lagavulin 25 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Whisky Advocate: "The 25 year old is fascinating in its complexity, both on the nose and palate. Aromas of new leather, tropical fruits, brittle toffee, and brine are backed by spicy peat smoke, while smoky sherry notes develop in time. It is at its best neat, with the strength being no deterrent. The palate is rich and confident, with sweet peat, brine, muted sherry, figs, gentle spices, tangerines, and lemons. The finish is lengthy, with a barbecue note, malt, and lots of gentle smoke. An extremely fine Lagavulin."
Starting Bid: $1,885.00

Bid on this bottle of John E. Fitzgerald "Larceny A122" Barrel Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. 93 points from VinePair: "The first extension from Heaven Hill’s Larceny brand launched in 2020, and now enjoys three distinct releases throughout the year. Produced using the distillery’s wheated mash bill, the added proof takes the sweet and approachable flavor profile to a whole new level. The best part about this whiskey is that the heady ABV doesn't interfere or argue with its sweet character. Instead, the alluring notes of dried fruit, maple, and baking spice are boosted, and the finish has gained a decade or two in age. Our advice: Pour over a large chunk of ice or add a splash of water." (TM, 2/2022)
Current Bid: $46.61

Current Bid: $75.00

Bid on this bottle of Smoke Wagon "Uncut - Unfiltered" Indiana Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The Nevada H&C Distilling Co., home to Smoke Wagon Bourbon, is one of the early wave craft distillers who nabbed a good contract from the excellent distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Twelve years later, these guys are sitting on some really top notch straight bourbon, but no one seems to know anything about them. The distillery is in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. They've released a range of excellent bourbons at various price points, but we're only now getting access to the very best juice. The Uncut is their flagship product and represents the oldest and finest stocks (which are not allocated for single barrels by owner Aaron Chepenik). Each batch is carefully blended for a powerful, rich, and complex bourbon character that's become a staple of many whiskey lovers' home bars... when they can find it. This tiny bottler in Nevada is definitely one to keep an eye on.
Current Bid: $50.00

Bid on this bottle of Compass Box "Hedonism" Grain Scotch Whisky (93WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Fresh aromas suggest red apple slices and hint of vanilla. The supersoft palate rings out with vanilla cookie and custard, finishing long and mouthwatering on sweet spices, piquant cayenne and drying hints of cigar wrapper and campfire smoke. Consider this as a dessert pairing. (KN)" (12/2020)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Memento Mori "Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP). Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (all clone 4) aged 22 months in 100% new French oak. Very deep purple-black in color, it leaps from the glass with exuberant blackberry preserves, stewed plums, cassis and black cherries notes with touches of chocolate mint, oolong tea, mossy bark and tobacco. Full-bodied and laden with vivacious black fruits, it has a firm backbone of grainy tannins and compelling freshness, finishing long and earthy. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Current Bid: $380.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Maybach "Materium" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 98RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "If you can believe it, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Materium might be even better, and this beauty tops out my scale. An incredible array of red, blue, and black fruits as well as unsmoked tobacco, iron, hazelnut, and toasty oak all emerge from the glass, and it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a layered, ultra-fine, building texture, perfect tannins, and a huge finish. This pure Napa Valley magic is going to benefit from 2-4 years in the cellar and drink brilliantly for another 20-30 years. If this doesn't do it for you, I'd avoid Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon!" (12/2021)
Current Bid: $825.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 La Pelle "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96DC). Decanter: "La Pelle is the result of three friends combining their talents to deliver a strong message with this inaugural release. Maayan Koschitzky brings his proven winemaking skills from years working alongside Philippe Melka, combined with experts in vineyard management, Miguel Luna and Peter Richmond. The 2016 La Pelle Reserve certainly highlights one of the best vintages in the Napa Valley, which delivered intensity and structure along with ageing potential. Initial notes of bramble, violets and lilac potpourri are followed by dusty plum and blackberry flavours with a well-rounded structure and crushed-rock minerality. Earthy and salty notes with a hint of black tea appear on the finish. (ED)" (01/2019)
Current Bid: $225.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Jose Cuervo "Reserva De La Familia" Extra Añejo Tequila in original wood.
Current Bid: $125.00

Bid on this bottle of Smoke Wagon Small Batch Indiana Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Nevada H&C Distilling produces the Smoke Wagon line-up of whiskeys. The Small Batch Straight Bourbon was born of a brainstorming process to solve a particularly thorny problem they were having with bottling an aged, high-rye bourbon that met their profile preferences and standards. Because high-rye bourbon typically ages much faster than higher corn mash bills, the aged high-ryes tend to lose their spicy rye components after successive years and rackings. At the same time, the younger ones exhibited all the bold and spicy components they were seeking, but the palate was often lacking in the sweet, rich texture that aging brings. The solution was to blend and bottle a combination of old and young whiskies, thereby capitalizing on the desirable characteristics of each in the finished product.

Bid on this bottle of Bardstown Bourbon Company 6 Year Old "Origin Series #1" Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. IWSC just warded BBC their Worldwide Whiskey Producer Of The Year Trophy for 2023 and a massive 98 Points for the Origins Bourbon - "A dense, rich toffee popcorn character shines through, with complex black tea, red fruit and mint notes acting in support. This incredible distillery produced the Kentucky distillate for a huge number of brands and has set the world on fire with release after release of fabulous and interesting blends and collaborations. . . A beautifully balanced blend of apricot, orange blossom, and mint rests on caramel, nutmeg, and rich oak. On the palate, waves of cinnamon and vanilla lead to a bold, signature lasting finish. Bid on this bottle of Havana Club 15 Year Old "Gran Reserva" Cuban Rum (700ml). Havana Club 15 Year Old "Gran Reserva" is a premium Cuban rum introduced in the 1980s. It is crafted by blending select aged rums and aguardientes, then maturing them for at least 15 years in white oak barrels in Cuba’s tropical climate. This extended aging results in a high angel’s share and a rich, dry profile. Bottled at 40% ABV, only 58 barrels are bottled annually, ensuring exclusivity.
Current Bid: $415.00

Bid on this bottle of 1995 Glendronach 18 Year Old "K&L Exclusive Single PX Barrel" Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This year's offering was aged in Pedro Ximenez casks and shows a totally different type of sherry influence from last year's powerfully masculine dry oloroso cask. What we have here is the perfect sweet sherry nose, filled with dense dried plums, spiced pears, subtle flintiness, and a rich creamy core. On the palate, the baking spices really explode fresh clove, nutmeg, and freshly dried stone fruits. This balance between spices, dark exotic oak tones, and powerfully rich fruit is the hallmark of Glendronach. I think this cask will be the best received Glendronach yet.
Current Bid: $285.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2020 Patria "Charlie Smith Vineyard" Moon Mountain District Chardonnay (92VN). Vinous: "The 2020 Chardonnay Charlie Smith Vineyard emerges from a site on Moon Mountain at 1, 800 feet in elevation. Dried pear, flowers, sage and mint are some of the many notes that grace this distinctive, phenolic mountain Chardonnay. I can't wait to see how this bottling develops in future vintages, as Charlie Smith is a pretty distinctive site. (AG)" (10/2022)
Current Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Ornellaia "Le Serre Nuove" Bolgheri (95DC, 94JS, 92RP, 90VN, 90WS). Decanter: "Le Serre Nuove dell'Ornellaia 2013 is engaging whilst having plenty of time left on its side. Both fruit and oak tannins are in sync, while a light tang adds a salty undertow to its overall elegance and freshness, lifting and exalting the fruit. The antithesis of a blockbuster, and still quite some way from its peak, this wine is evidence of how Bolgheri's best 2013s have useful and understated staying power to go with their lusher side. (MW)" (03/2021)
Current Bid: $110.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard - Elysian" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 97RP, 96VN, 93WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Elysian is another heavenly wine from this estate that shows a more elegant, seamless style with its incredible perfume of crème de cassis, graphite, white flowers, flowery incense, and unsmoked tobacco. Deep, full-bodied, and concentrated, it offers building tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish. About as seamless as they come, with ultra-fine tannins and flawless balance, this heavenly, seamless, magical wine will benefit from short-term cellaring and keep for 40 years or more. " (08/2020)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Morlet "Mon Chevalier" Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97VN, 95RP). Vinous: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Mon Chevalier is one of the most elegant wines in this vertical. It shows the energy of years like 2010, but with added finesse and nuance, remarkable for such a potent wine. Ripe red cherry, red plum, game, cured meats, licorice and dried rose petal build effortlessly in the glass. This is such a gorgeous and expressive wine. Its vertical intensity and overall depth are impressive. (AG)" (10/2024)
