Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (98RP, 97VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Chardonnay Lauren Estate is made from 15-year-old vines from the old Wente and Mt. Eden clones of Chardonnay planted in Goldridge soils. This wine offers loads of nectarine, honeysuckle, liquefied rock, quince and white currants. The wine has incredible richness, no real evidence of any of the 100% new oak it is aged in, and a multi-dimensional, long finish. (RP) 98+" (12/2015)
Current Bid: $450.00

Of the 2021 Next Of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard #15" Central Coast Red Blend (1.5L), Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Red and blue fruits, ground pepper, sandalwood, new leather, and who knows what else emerges from 2021 No 15 Cumulus Vineyard, another absolutely sensational effort from this genius of a winemaker. Based on 40% Grenache, 34% Syrah, 22% Petite Sirah, and the balance white varieties, it's full-bodied, has a deep, layered mouthfeel, ultra-fine tannins, and not a hard edge to be found. It picks up more floral nuances with time in the glass and has a rare mix of richness, elegance, and purity. " (08/2024)
Starting Bid: $725.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98JD, 98RP, 97JS, 95VN, 94DC, 94WE). Wine Advocate: "A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot from 21 different lots from 11 different vineyards, the 2016 The Bard is very deep purple-black in color and sashays out of the glass with strikingly beautiful violets, warm cassis, star anise and chocolate mint notes with hints of wood smoke, tobacco and kirsch, with blackberry compote at the core. Full, muscular and built like a brick house with layer upon layer of black, blue and red fruits, it finishes very long and savory. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Current Bid: $420.00

Bid on this bottle of 2011 Giuseppe Rinaldi "Tre Tine" Barolo (95KO, 94WS, 93DC, 93VN, 92RP). Kerin O'Keefe: "Mature dark berry, cake spice, baked earth, leather and a whiff of game are just some of the aromas you’ll find on this impressive wine. The chewy palate offers ripe black cherry, crushed raspberry, cinnamon, white pepper and aromatic herb alongside a backbone of firm, ripe tannins and racy acidity. " (10/2015)
Current Bid: $191.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Hourglass Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "Hourglass’s flagship wine, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon is one of their strongest efforts to date. An inky/purple color is followed by subtle scents of barbecue smoke, black currants, black cherries, licorice, and a hint of oak. Full-bodied, generously endowed, and deep with loads of concentration, purity, and texture, it is approachable now, but should evolve. (RP)" (12/2009)
Current Bid: $155.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Vietti Barbera d'Alba "Scarrone Vigna Vecchia".
Current Bid: $147.00

Bid on this 3 liter of 1982 Diamond Creek "Red Rock Terrace" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (3L) (90WS). Wine Spectator: "A rich, dark-colored wine that's remarkably complex with its earthy currant, herb and tea flavors. Finishes with drying tannins.--Diamond Creek vertical." (06/1998)
Current Bid: $460.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2009 Tor Kenward "Cimarossa Vineyard" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (97WS, 92ST, 91RP). Wine Spectator: "A deliciously complex, intriguing, exciting expression of Cabernet. Firm where it should be, with a subtle mix of acid and tannins. Generous and layered with spicy berry flavors that sail on and on. (JL)" (04/2012)
Current Bid: $290.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Dana Estates "Hershey Vineyard" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 97JS, 97VN, 93ST, (90-92RP), 90WS) in original wood. Vinous: "Graphite, crushed rocks, smoke, melted road tar, black fruit and incense explode from the glass in the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Hershey Vineyard. A huge, structured wine, the 2011 boasts stunning depth, power and richness. The intense salinity of the vintage and the trademark Dana intensity of fruit meld together in a Cabernet of true distinction. What a gorgeous wine this is. This is the first vintage to incorporate more than the original first acre of plantings. The first vintages were pure clone 1 Cabernet, while subsequent vintages include See clone fruit as well. The 2011 was fermented in barrel and spent 21 months in oak, 100% new. (AG)" (11/2013)
Current Bid: $510.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2018 Kapcsándy "Estate Cuvée - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95JD, 94DC, 94VN, 93RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Cuvée, which includes a splash of Merlot (3%), shines for its beautiful elegance and purity, with lots of blue fruits, violets, orange blossom, and lead pencil aromas and flavors. Tasting like a mini Grand Vin, it’s full-bodied, with ripe, present tannins, and certainly has the classic, noble style that’s the hallmark of this estate." (01/2021)
Current Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 The Vineyardist Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 97RP, 97VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Just about perfection in a glass, the monumental 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon from this Diamond Mountain estate has everything you could want from a mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. It sports a deep purple color as a powerful bouquet of blackberries, plums, incense, scorched earth, damp herbs, and a hint of mint. Incredibly full-bodied and deep, with a profound texture, layers of silky tannins, no hard edges, and a finish that won’t quit, this magical wine will most likely merit a triple-digit score in 4-5 years and keep for more than three decades." (01/2019)
Current Bid: $440.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Inglenook "Rubicon" Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (93WS, 90RP). Wine Spectator: "A classy, well-structured effort, with flavors that build and gain depth around a core of loamy earth, espresso, dark berry, cedary oak and tobacco. Most impressive on the graceful, long and persistent finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot. (JL)" (11/2013)

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2018 Linne Calodo "Overthinker" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (92WS) and 2-bottles of 2019 Linne Calodo "Overthinker" Paso Robles Rhône Blend. Of the 2018 Linne Calodo "Overthinker" Paso Robles Rhône Blend, Wine Spectator writes: "Plush and seductive, with plump raspberry, grilled fennel and spicy espresso flavors that glide on a long, supple finish. Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. (TF)" (05/2021)
Current Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2022 Kosta Browne "One Sixteen" Russian River Valley Chardonnay and 2-bottles of 2023 Kosta Browne "One Sixteen" Russian River Valley Chardonnay.
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Corison "Kronos" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 92ST). Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Kronos is bigger, richer and deeper than the straight bottling. Plums, black currants, cassis, tar and pencil shavings all come to life in this utterly vivid, large-scaled Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2009 Kronos is endowed with serious intensity, yet retains a pretty classic sense of structure. Violets, roses and flowers of all sorts wrap around the poised, beautifully articulated finish. This is a dazzling showing from Cathy Corison. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2029." (12/2012)
Current Bid: $297.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2007 L'Aventure "Estate - Côte à Côte" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96RP, 95JD, 94ST, 93WE) and 3-bottles of 2007 L'Aventure "Estate Cuvée" Paso Robles Red Blend (96JD, 96RP, 94VN, 93WS, 91CG). Of the 2007 L'Aventure "Estate - Côte à Côte" Paso Robles Rhône Blend, Wine Advocate writes: "Just as good, the 2007 Côte à Côte starts out tight and reserved, but blossoms with time in the glass, showing incredibly pure creme de cassis, black cherry, licorice and spice-driven aromas and flavors. These all flow to a full-bodied, deep, rich and layered profile on the palate that carries beautiful concentration, excellent overall purity and freshness, and a blockbuster finish. (JD) 96+" (07/2014)
Current Bid: $230.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 Cakebread "Guajolote - Suscol Springs Vineyard'' Napa Valley Red Blend. Founded in 1973 by Jack and Dolores Cakebread, Cakebread Cellars is one of the best-known family owned and operated producers in California. Their goal in the vineyard is to get fully ripe grapes, but with a lower Brix value. This is to create a more restrained style of wine. Also, Cakebread Cellars is a green-certified winery, and its vineyards are green-certified and either farmed organically or sustainably. Cakebread's Guajolote, meaning "wild turkey" in Spanish, is named after these wild birds of Suscol Mountain. This unique wine blends Bordeaux and Rhône varietals, a rare combination in Napa Valley, showcasing the highest expression of the estate vineyards.
Current Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Tensley "Thompson Vineyard" Santa Barbara Syrah ((93-96RP), 94VN), 1-bottle of 2015 Tensley "Thompson Vineyard" Santa Barbara Syrah (94JD, (91-93RP), 92VN, 91WS), 1-bottle of 2017 Tensley "Thompson Vineyard" Santa Barbara County Syrah (95JD, 90VN), and 3-bottles of 2018 Tensley "Thompson Vineyard" Santa Barbara County Syrah (94JD, (92-94RP), 94VN). Of the 2014 Tensley "Thompson Vineyard" Santa Barbara Syrah, Wine Advocate writes: "Maybe the best Thompson Vineyard Syrah to date, the 2014 Syrah Thompson Vineyard still has its savory, peppery and olive-scented bouquet, yet has an uncommon, massive core of fruit and texture that carries through the mid-palate and finish. Beautifully concentrated, full-bodied and decadent, with good acidity and notable tannin, enjoy this big, powerhouse Syrah on release and over the following decade. (JD)" (08/2015)
Current Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Stags' Leap Winery Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92W&S). Wine & Spirits: "This cabernet expresses the restrained ripeness of the 2010 vintage in flavors that are more earthy than fruity: scents of forest floor, the fruitiness of mushrooms, the fineness of the tannins. The finish feels clean, open and airy, with enough space between the tannins to taste the wine’s layered complexity. Decant it for roast squab or other dark-meated game birds." (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Mayacamas Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (93DC). Decanter: "A vintage that shows the restrained and sometimes hidden power of Mount Veeder Cabernet. The nose is initially reticent and understated, giving off subtle notes of blackberry and espresso, but after time in the glass it opens up to reveal a vibrant, gritty core. Beautiful and classically Mayacamas in style, but built to go the distance. You can drink it now, but best left for at least another five years. (ML)" (03/2020)
Current Bid: $361.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Aubert "Sugar Shack" Napa Valley Chardonnay (99JS, 98RP, 95VN). James Suckling: "This is very structured and powerful with Montrachet sensibility. Apple and dried pineapple character. Full body. Dense and layered. Almost chewy. Superb structure. Tight and real. Textural. Drink or hold." (12/2019)
Current Bid: $201.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN, 93ST, 92WS). Vinous: "The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard is sumptuous and layered, with plenty of the aromatic nuances that are typical of this site. Ripe red fruit, flowers, spices and licorice are some of the notes that flow from this refined, finessed Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2009 impresses for its dazzling purity and finesse. The blend is 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Petit Verdot. (AG)" (12/2011)
Current Bid: $186.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2010 Pride Mountain Sonoma County Cabernet Franc (1.5L) (92RP, 91ST, 90WE) and 1-bottle of 2012 Pride Mountain Sonoma County Cabernet Franc (1.5L) (93RP, 91WE). Of the 2012 Pride Mountain Sonoma County Cabernet Franc (1.5L), Wine Advocate writes: "A brilliant effort is the 2012 Cabernet Franc (83% Cabernet Franc and 17% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 18 months in 40% new French oak). This beauty reveals plenty of forest floor, mulberry, black cherry and incense scents. The complex aromatics are followed by a medium to full-bodied, beautifully rich wine that is never heavy or overbearing. (RP)" (10/2014)
Current Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Saxum "James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96RP, 96VN, 94ST, 93WS). Vinous: "Dark red plums, exotic spices, crushed flowers, menthol and new leather are some of the nuances that blossom as the 2011 James Berry Vineyard opens up in the glass. The use of 33% whole clusters adds texture and aromatic complexity in a wine that impresses for its purity. Some of the Grenache was done in concrete, which allows the true personality of the fruit to shine. Hints of tar, game and licorice meld into the expressive finish. (AG)" (07/2014)
Current Bid: $320.00

Bid on this bottle of 2011 Giacomo Conterno "Francia" Barolo (98JS, 97VN, 95WE). James Suckling: "Glorious aromas of roses, whole white truffles, earth and raspberry. Dusty. Subtle rosemary and lemon grass too. Full-bodied, tight and structured. Yet it opens and caresses every inch of your palate. So gorgeous now to drink. No Monfortino in this year; so absolutely amazing because it all went in here. Wow. Drink or hold." (09/2015)
Current Bid: $191.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2022 Kongsgaard Napa Valley Chardonnay (93VN). Vinous: "The 2022 Chardonnay (Napa Valley) is typically a blend of Hyde, Hudson, Arcadia and a few others. In 2022, Hudson was not in the blend. Dried lemon peel, tangerine oil, hazelnut and chamomile unfurl in the glass. The drought conditions of the year produced a wine of considerable intensity. Its weight and viscous intensity make it a sort of mini-Judge. The 2022 is very dense and phenolic. (AG)" (12/2024)
Current Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2022 Scarecrow "M. Étain" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 96JD, 94RP, 92VN) in original wood. Jeb Dunnuck: "While I've too often referred to this as a second wine, it has its own designated parcel and is a completely separate wine from the Grand Vin, which I think accounts for its singular character. Darker currants, tobacco, roasted herbs, graphite, and spicy, chocolatey notes all define this beauty, and it's full-bodied on the palate, with a layered, round, velvety mouthfeel and a great finish. It's a brilliant, opulent, incredibly impressive 2022 that has so much character. Drink this beauty anytime over the coming 15-20 years. The blend is 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% each of Petit Verdot and Merlot, and the balance Malbec, raised 19 months in 50% new barrels." (01/2025)
Current Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2007 Williams Selyem "Coastlands Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (94ST, 93RP, 93WE, 90W&S) and 2-bottles of 2008 Williams Selyem "Coastlands Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (93ST, 90RP). Of the 2007 Williams Selyem "Coastlands Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, Int'l Wine Cellar writes: "Inky ruby. Potent aromas of blackberry, boysenberry and dried rose, with exotic Indian spice and gingerbread nuances adding complexity. Deep, fleshy dark berry flavors show liqueur-like depth and intensity, with slow-building tannins adding grip and structure. Develops more vibrancy and red fruit character with aeration and finishes with outstanding clarity and sappy persistence. This is another '07 from Williams-Selyem that calls for patience. (ST) 94+" (06/2009)
Current Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2012 Tor Kenward "Cimarossa Vineyard" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, (92-94ST), 92WS). Wine Advocate: "The spectacular 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Cimarossa Vineyard has exceeded my enthusiastic notes of last year. Its dense purple color is accompanied by notes of mulberries, spring flowers, toast, wet rocks, cassis and blackberries. With great intensity, a full-bodied, dramatic, voluptuous texture, superb purity and a fabulously long finish of 45-50 seconds, it should drink well for two decades. (RP)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Barnett "Rattlesnake Hill" Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Rattlesnake is their reserve wine and has been called this since 1991, no doubt because of the number of rattlesnakes that populated the property. It is usually their greatest wine, when they declare it. They only made 69 cases in 2014, so this is a tough one to find. The color is opaque ruby/purple and the wine has a few extra gears in it, with plenty of blueberry, cassis, forest floor and white flowers, followed by a full-bodied, beautifully built style of wine. This wine goes on and on – it is incredible rich, but with no defects or hard edges. A full-bodied, lush, elegant, yet powerful wine, this is a classic Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 20+ years. (RP) 95+" (12/2016)
Current Bid: $361.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Opus One Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (93DC, 92WE, 91VN). Decanter: "A long, cool growing season in 2000 and you can feel this through the character of the fruit, which has less intensity that some vintages, still with sweet blueberry and raspberry, with caressing soft tannins that are a little more open than you might expect. At this point Opus was still being made by the team at the Mondavi vineyards, and there was a growing awareness that they needed their own team; able to focus on exactly what they needed (these things are always more obvious in a difficult year, as there are so many vineyard choices to be taken). 3% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot completes the blend. 44 days skin contact. (JA)" (09/2019)
Current Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Araujo "Altagracia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (92VN, 91JS). Vinous: "The 2011 Altagracia is round, sexy, supple and beautiful, especially within the context of the year. Sweet red berries, mint, tobacco, savory herbs and anise meld together in a distinctive wine long on personality. With time in the glass the wine fleshes out nicely, as the flavors become darker, richer and layered. Altagracia is a blend of mostly Eisele fruit, plus a bit of Vine Hill Ranch, a well-draining site in Oakville that is among Napa Valley's very best. The blend is 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Malbec. (AG)" (11/2013)
Current Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 4-half-bottle lot of 1997 Mendelson Napa Valley Pinot Gris Dessert Wine (375ml) (91WS). Wine Spectator: Superrich and sugary, with layers of custard, vanilla, apricot, nutmeg and cumin notes. Long and sweet on the finish. (JL) (06/2000)
Starting Bid: $40.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Justin "Platinum Reserve" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (94JS). James Suckling: "The nose is intense and harmonious, with finely integrated aromas of wild black fruit, licorice, dark chocolate and dark cherries. The palate is full-bodied and textured with silky smooth tannins, giving notes of blackcurrants, cocoa beans, cassia bark and sweet spices." (08/2024)
Current Bid: $220.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Kosta Browne Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (93RP, 91CG, 91VN, 91WS). Wine Advocate: "The appellation 2014 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley from this team is a smoking effort. Mostly destemmed and brought up in 44% new French oak, it's loaded with notions of black raspberries, toasted spice, licorice and underbrush. These give way to a full-bodied, concentrated, textured Pinot Noir that packs plenty of fruit, while never losing the elegance and purity of the variety. It will evolve every bit as well as most of the single vineyard releases. (JD)" (09/2016)
Current Bid: $51.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2009 L'Aventure "Estate Cuvée" Paso Robles Red Blend (96JS, 95RP, 94VN, 92ST) and 2-bottles of 2015 L'Aventure "Estate Cuvée" Paso Robles Red Blend (96JS, 96RP, 95JD, 95VN). Of the 2009 L'Aventure "Estate Cuvée" Paso Robles Red Blend, James Suckling writes: "This seems so Pauillac in structure with the firm tannins and minerals and intensity. Full-bodied, with gorgeous fruit and currants and minerals. Light toasted oak. Intense and powerful. This is a wine this is so muscular. Fabulous." (10/2011)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 2 bottle lot of 2012 Domaine Robert Groffier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Hauts Doix". 91-93 Vinous: "A juicy, supple Wine, the 2012 Chambolle-Musigny Les Hauts Doix is totally expressive in the glass. Sweet raspberries, spices, flowers and mint all meld together in a gracious, silky Burgundy long on class. Here, too, Groffier achieves lovely polish and silkiness. Sweet floral notes meld in the resonant finish. (AG)" Review Date: 01/2014
Current Bid: $291.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Domaine Leroy Richebourg Grand Cru.
Current Bid: $4,100.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 DRC Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée St-Vivant Grand Cru ((95-97RP), 97WS, 96BH, 95VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Romanee St. Vivant is dazzling. An exotic mosaic of sweet spices, red berries, dried flowers and mint bursts onto the palate in this viscerally thrilling, captivating Romanee St. Vivant. The 2010 is notable for so many attributes, but one that stands out is the sheer beauty and texture of the breathtaking finish. (AG)" (02/2012)
Current Bid: $2,716.00

Bid on this bottle of 2019 Domaine Louis Jadot Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru.
Current Bid: $279.99

Bid on this 3 liter of 2012 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Springs" Dry Creek Zinfandel (3L) (93VN). Vinous: "Bright, full red. Very primary aromas of dark berries, black tea, flowers and resiny herbs. Seriously concentrated, deeply spicy Zinfandel in a distinctly elegant style, with penetrating acidity framing and lifting the savory flavors of dark berries, licorice, black pepper, pungent spices and flowers. A bit muskier than the 2012 Geyserville version, and also tighter and more backward, not yet showing the plushness of that wine. But this extremely youthful wine finishes with a firm spine of supple tannins and terrific sappy energy and length. It's really nowhere near its peak and should enjoy a long life in bottle. (Drink between 2024-2042) 93+ (ST)" (08/2018)
Current Bid: $202.77

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Aubert "UV Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (94RP, 92VN). Wine Advocate: "As for the 2014 Pinot Noir UV, two-thirds is from the Calera clone of Pinot Noir and the rest from a Vosne-Romanée clone (which we all know, but no one’s saying, probably emanated from the famous Domaine de la Romanée Conti estate). Lots of soft strawberry, sweet cherry and blueberry notes emerge from this wine, giving it a Côte de Nuits-like character. (RP)" (12/2015)
Current Bid: $235.00

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2017 Linne Calodo Rising Tides Paso Robles Rhône Blend (1.5L) (96VN, 93JD, 92WS). Vinous: Vivid magenta. Highly perfumed, mineral-tinged aromas of ripe red and blue fruits, cherry-cola and succulent flowers expand with aeration. Offers palate-staining raspberry liqueur, cherry pie and boysenberry flavors that are accompanied by a lavender pastille nuance and hints of woodsmoke and licorice. Rich but extremely lively as well, showing impressive back-end thrust, youthfully chewy tannins that add shape and firm grip to clinging berry and cherry notes. (JR) (02/2020)
Current Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2013 Cavallotto "Bricco Boschis" Barolo (96RP, 96WE, 95DC, 94WS) and 2-bottles of 2017 Cavallotto "Bricco Boschis" Barolo (96IWR, 96JD, 95WE, 94DC, 94RP, 93VN). Of the 2013 Cavallotto "Bricco Boschis" Barolo, Wine Advocate writes: "Cavallotto is on a roll with some very impressive new releases. The 2013 Barolo Bricco Boschis is a tremendous effort that has an edge on the excellent 2010 vintage in my view. The wine shows a beautifully exuberant but elegant bouquet with the ethereal and undertone fruit and spice aromas you get with Nebbiolo. Although the wine is never overdone, it does show silky persistence and a long finish that comes from the noble nature of the tannins and the wine's textural finesse. Yet, it is playfully deceiving in a way because behind that polished grace, it delivers impressive depth and power. (ML) 96+" (06/2017)
Current Bid: $210.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Colgin "IX Estate" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 97WE, 95VN, 94JS, 94WS). Wine Advocate: "Lastly, the 2005 Proprietary Red IX Estate, from one of the most strikingly beautiful vineyards in all of Napa, high on Pritchard Hill overlooking Lake Hennessey, is a blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot and the balance Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Inky purple with a provocative and profound bouquet of graphite, white flowers, cassis and blackberry as well as hints of coffee and chocolate, this full-bodied classic has perfect balance, undeniable purity and a long finish. (RP) 98+" (06/2015)

Of the 2013 Peter Michael "Le Caprice" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, James Suckling writes: "Unique aromas of ripe dark fruits with grilled seaweed, iodine and sea spray notes. Bid on this bottle of 2020 Cos d'Estournel, St-Estèphe (99DC, 99JD, 98JS, 98TWI, 97JA, 97VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Based on 62% Cabernet Sauvignon and 38% Merlot, the deep purple-hued 2020 Château Cos D'Estournel has, dare I say, an almost Lafite-like sense of elegance and class, offering gorgeous cassis and darker currants fruits as well as tobacco, lead pencil, acacia flowers, and graphite. Hitting 13.46 alcohol, with a pH of 3.9 and an IPT of 80, this flawless, full-bodied, incredibly elegant Saint-Estèphe has silky tannins, perfect balance, and a great, great finish. It will need a decade of cellaring to hit its prime drink window. Of the trilogy of 2018, 2019, and 2020, it's clearly my favorite (that’s splitting hairs), with a similarity to the 2016, and will most likely merit another point at maturity. *#2 Wine of the Year 2023*" (04/2023)

Jane Anson: "Château Canon has been taking off over the past few years, and here you see why. Just so much complexity, depth, power, interest in the whole thing. This buzzes with life, rises above the palate, full of gunsmoke, truffle, raspberry, blueberry, so delicious. Needs time but already showing it will be worth the wait. 45hl/h, 3.5ph, Harvest September 11 to October 4, 50% new oak. Thomas Duclos consults." (11/2021)
