Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2022 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - (95-97JD), 95VN) in original wood. Jeb Dunnuck: "While I wasn't able to taste the 2021s, the 2022s from Screaming Eagle are undeniable successes. Tasted from multiple barrels, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon has medium to full-bodied, richness, beautiful purity of fruit and ripe, building tannins, as well as a good spine of acidity. This estate did an incredible selection, and it certainly shows in all the samples I was able to taste." (12/2023)
Current Bid: $5,250.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Aubert "CIX" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (99RP, 94VN). Wine Advocate: "Lastly, the virtually perfect 2014 Chardonnay Cix Estate, planted with a Montrachet clone on Goldridge soils, again exhibits amazing intensity, notes of wet gravel interwoven with apple blossom, caramelized citrus, apricot, white peach and honeysuckle. It is full-bodied, multidimensional and a profound glass of Chardonnay. (RP)" (10/2016)
Current Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 G.B. Burlotto "Monvigliero" Barolo (100RP, 99JD, 99VN, 98DC, 94JG). Wine Advocate: "This wine feels like a delicate whisper in the ear that tickles and taunts but gets its message across. The Comm. G.B. Burlotto 2019 Barolo Monvigliero definitely spoke to me thanks to its immediate complexity that transcends wild strawberry, aromatic herb, white pepper, orange peel, hazelnut, truffle essence, autumnal leaf, cinnamon and pencil shaving. I could go on. The first vintage made was 1982, and Monvigliero famously sees whole cluster fruit to add to those spicy and herbaceous aromas that are so delicate and fleeting.(ML)" (08/2023)
Current Bid: $1,050.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 98RP, 97CG, 97JD, 97JS, 97WE) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, it opens with stunning black and red plums, cassis and mulberries scents with loads of redcurrant sparks and compelling wafts of lilacs, pencil shavings, black olives and tilled soil plus a hint of bay leaves. Medium to full-bodied, the palate explodes with red and black currant fireworks plus some exciting mineral nuances coming through, framed by firm, grainy tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing very long and beautifully layered. (LPB)" (12/2018)
Current Bid: $1,165.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2021 Kosta Browne Anderson Valley Pinot Noir (94WE, 93DC, 93RP, 91WS). Wine Enthusiast: "This wine is lively with aromas of Bing cherry, raspberry and clove on the nose. The midpalate has flavors of cranapple-strawberry, cinnamon, orange zest and vanilla bean interlaced with tobacco leaf, spiced bittersweet chocolate and a dry finish. Decant and drink now, or enjoy through 2030. Pair with Peking duck. (TP)" (07/2024)
Current Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Next of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 10'' Central Coast Red Blend (100RP, 99JD, 95VN). Wine Advocate: "The opaque purple-black colored 2016 Cumulus Vineyard No. 10 is a breathtaking WOW wine, from start to finish. It strides confidently out of the glass with bold, profound scents of preserved plums, blackberry coulis, blueberry pie and dried lavender, giving way to notes of espresso, spice cake, crushed stones, black truffles and beef drippings, plus a lifted waft of kirsch intertwined with red roses. The full-bodied palate is built like a skyscraper, featuring a solid line of firm, perfectly ripe, densely pixelated tannins and seamless freshness, taking all those complex dark fruit, earth and floral layers to a very long finish. Quite frankly, this is a monumental achievement for the Krankls—a formidable culmination creation that is simply without peers (LPB)" (08/2020)
Current Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 98RP, 97VN) in original wood. Jeb Dunnuck: "Pure perfection in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Scarecrow’s 2018 reveals a dense purple hue as well as an incredible bouquet of pure crème de cassis, toasted spices, chocolate, darker currants, and graphite. This carries to a full-bodied, dense, off-the-charts sexy 2018 that has the vintage’s purity and freshness backed up by flawless balance, a layered mouthfeel, and building yet elegant tannins." (01/2021)
Current Bid: $1,500.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2022 Kistler Trenton Roadhouse Russian River Valley Chardonnay. 97 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2022 Chardonnay Trenton Roadhouse is a touch riper yellow but youthful color. A beguiling wine, it moves continuously on the nose with notes of fresh pineapple, yellow flowers, piney herbs, fresh flowers, and candied citrus. Medium to full-bodied and long on the palate, with great finesse and concentration as well as a long spine of acidity through the finish, it offers a wide drinking window over the coming 10 years. 11,375 bottles were produced, (Drink between 2024-2034) (AF)" (06/2024)
Current Bid: $490.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2020 Occidental "Cuvée Elizabeth - Bodegas Headland Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (96RP, 96TWI, 95JD, 93VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2020 Pinot Noir Bodega Headlands Cuvée Elizabeth is spicy and expressive, with singular aromas of cranberry sauce, rhubarb, fennel, saline, tea leaves and amaro-like undertones. The light-bodied palate offers an excellent balance of fragrant, concentrated fruit, mouthwatering acidity and pleasurably chalky tannins, and it finishes with a flourish of spicy accents. Although it has what it needs for cellaring, I would be inclined to drink it on the younger side because of the challenges of the vintage. Why wait? (EB)" (06/2023)
Current Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Cobb "Hellenthal Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Zinfandel.
Current Bid: $115.01

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2020 Domaine Dagueneau "Pur Sang" Pouilly-Fumé and 1-bottle of 2022 Domaine Dagueneau "Silex" Vin de France (Pouilly-Fumé) (94VN). Of the 2022 Domaine Dagueneau "Silex" Vin de France (Pouilly-Fumé), Vinous writes: "The 2022 Silex is not a lot of fun upon release; dry and tense, it really needs time to mellow. There's flesh from the clay element of its clay-flint soils, which is felt on entry but tightens up as it moves through the mouth. This remains a wine of drive, firmness and upright structure; it speaks of the place it comes from rather than its variety. Aromatics are almost a forgotten element; this is a wine about structure and texture. There is a lemony, wild goat cheese-like note and a distinct flinty whiff. SIlex, after all, means flint in French. (RG)" (07/2024)
Current Bid: $285.00

Bid on this bottle of 2004 López de Heredia "Viña Tondonia" Reserva Rioja (98JS, 97VN, 96W&S, 94JG, 94RP, 91WE, 90WS). James Suckling: "Such a beautifully aged gran reserva that shows the more traditional side of Rioja. Dried blood orange peel, white pepper, dried thyme, iron, berries, minerals, black sesame seeds and old books. So bright and firm, with a full body and an extremely bright, lengthy finish. If I bought a bottle I’d still want to keep it for another few years. Drink or hold." (08/2024)
Current Bid: $81.00

Bid on this bottle of 2019 Angélus "Hommage a Elisabeth Bouchet, " St-Emilion in original wood.
Current Bid: $775.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100JD, 100RP). Wine Advocate: "The perfect 2013 The Bard is a blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Petit Verdot, coming from four vineyards that Realm uses consistently -- B Weitz, Houyi, Blair and of course, the Beckstoffer Dr. Crane in St. Helena. There are 950 cases of this extraordinary wine, which has it all. Notes of graphite, blackberries, roasted espresso and chocolate are followed by a wine of enormous, massive extraction, richness and intensity, but no hard edges. This seamless work of vinous haute couture is staggeringly rich, very long, but not the least bit heavy or overbearing. (RP)" (12/2015)
Current Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Domaine Pascal Cotat "La Grande Côte" Sancerre. Established in the 1940s, this Domaine produces 100% Sauvignon Blanc in Loire Valeey's Sancerre AOC.Winemaker Pascal Cotat and his cousin to François own ‘La Grande Côte’ vineyard and "consider this plot the family monopole." Grapes are harvested by hand, sourced from this north-facing, steep two-acre vineyard, where the soils are mostly clay and the vines are over sixty years old.North Berkeley Imports describes the producer: "These are wines that can age for decades effortlessly, and that marry a plush richness with a laser-like cut and energy. Cotat as a rule harvests by hand and very late, as pushing ripeness to the extreme is one element that gives his wines their weighty texture and complexity. To wit, “They are some of the finest Sauvignon Blancs I have ever put to my lips, ” says Robert Parker.
Current Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2022 Sea Smoke "Estate Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay. The iconic Sea Smoke Vineyard never disappoints. A truly world-class, Grand Cru site in the Sta. Rita Hills that helped put the region on the map. This site is often cloaked in cooling fog from the Pacific Ocean, hence the name " Sea Smoke". The vines grow in very rocky, diatomaceous earth and flint soils imparting a distinctive minerality to the wines. Sea Smoke has been farmed organically and biodynamically for many years. The meticulous farming regiment has helped the wines achieve incredible consistency and excellence elevating the wines to cult status. The 2022 releases have plenty of powerful fruit and intensity, but always have Sea Smoke's tell-tale purity, lift and ageing potential that has made the wines so legendary.
Current Bid: $145.00

Bid on this bottle of 1990 Calon-Ségur, St-Estèphe (93WS, 92RP). Wine Spectator: "Super. Dark ruby-red. Intense aromas of violets, licorice, plums and berries. Full-bodied, with a thick, concentrated fruit structure and soft, velvety tannins. (JS)" (08/2000)
Current Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 3 liter of 2014 Grace Family "Blank" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (3L) (98JS, 95VN). James Suckling: "Phenomenal aromas of blueberries, spices, violets and dried flowers. Terracotta and cocoa powder. Full-bodied and incredibly sexy and intense. Shows the magic of Rutherford in 2014. Sweet tobacco, fresh herbs and even bay leaf all make themselves known here. So gorgeous now but will improve with age." (01/2018)
Current Bid: $315.00

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot in original wood; including 3-bottles of 2021 Fingers Crossed (Faethm) California Grenache ((97-99TWI), 98JS, 96JD, 94VN, 93RP) and 3-bottles of 2021 Fingers Crossed (Faethm) California Syrah (98DC, 97JD, 96JS, 96TWI, 96VN). Of the Grenache, The Wine Independent writes: "Opaque purple-black colored, it leaps with bold notes of black cherries, black raspberries, and lilacs with nuances of tar, wild sage, and lavender. The bright, shimmery, full-bodied palate is laden with crunchy black fruits, textured by silky-soft tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long with loads of floral and red berry sparks. (LPB)" (08/2023)
Starting Bid: $660.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Justin "Eighty One" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon. Winery note: "Mouth-filling and full bodied on entry with ripe black fruit of cherry and black currant complexed by layers of baking spice perfectly offset with savory autumn leaf, cedar and mineral graphite elements toward the mid-palate. The finish is extremely long, complex and fresh with a mix of fruit, spice and subtle camphor notes surrounded by firm, chewy tannins. With generous ripe fruit from a warmer vintage kept lively with ample acidity, the 2014 Eighty One promises earlier accessibility than previous vintages."
Current Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (99RP, 95VN, 95WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Chardonnay East Side, a vineyard owned by top viticulturist Ulises Valdez, is a 1, 000-case cuvee that reveals a liquified wet stone character intermixed with notes of white currants, quince, honeysuckle, pineapple and peach marmalade. Strong minerality as well as a remarkable finish make this a candidate for perfection. (RP)" (12/2014)
Current Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2013 Quintessa Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (OWC - 98JS, 96DC, 96JD, 96RP, 94WS, 93JA) in original wood. James Suckling: "This is really fantastic on the nose with blackberry, blueberry, lavender, and violets. Even sage. Full body plus extremely integrated tannins that are polished and refined. The balance and harmony is phenomenal. Goes on for minutes." (05/2016)
Current Bid: $650.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Hundred Acre "Kayli Morgan" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 99RP, 95VN, 92WS) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "Medium garnet in color, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Kayli Morgan Vineyard opens with the most beautiful red roses and lilacs scents with red and black cherry compote and hints of cinnamon stick, earth, stewed tea, cigar box and forest floor. The palate is full-bodied, rich and seductive with incredibly perfumed fruit and a satiny texture, finishing very long. (LPB)" (12/2018)
Current Bid: $1,335.00

Bid on this magnum of 2011 Cappellano "Otin Fiorin - Piè Rupestris" Barolo (1.5L). Vinous: "The 2011 Barolo Otin Fiorin Piè Rupestris-Nebioli is dark, sensual and open-knit. Hints of spice, leather, menthol and dried cherry open up nicely in the glass. A slightly roasted quality is evident. Even so, the 2011 is sensual and deeply layered throughout. My preference would be to drink it on the earlier side, within the context of Cappellano, which is to say between the ages of 15 and 30. (AG)" (05/2017)
Current Bid: $340.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2022 Kosta Browne Anderson Valley Pinot Noir.
Current Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2020 Kistler "Cuvée Cathleen" Sonoma Valley Chardonnay (98JS, 98RP, 97JD). Wine Advocate: "The 2020 Chardonnay Cuvée Cathleen offers exceptionally defined, layered aromas: apricot and peach are complemented by tones of dried lilacs and herbs, honeycomb, almonds, tangerine, pie spices and flinty streaks. The medium-bodied palate is satiny and seamless, with concentrated, peachy fruit, tangy acidity and a tremendously long finish driven by an appealing touch of phenolic texture. It's a rare combination of fruit density carried on an elegant, harmonious structure. (EB)" (07/2022)
Current Bid: $330.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (98RP, 96WS). Wine Advocate: "I had always believed the 2007 Pinot Noir was the finest Helen Turley and John Wetlaufer had produced at their Estate Vineyard, but after doing this vertical and seeing the performances of the 1998, 2002 and 2004, that belief rings somewhat hollow. The still young, incredible 2007 has all the potential needed to achieve a three-digit rating in a few years. A dense plum/purple color is followed by notes of subtle smoke, barbecue spice, blueberries, red and black currants, flowers, and a smoky meat-like character that I first compared to the aroma of Peking duck. There is something exotic about this full-bodied, dense 2007. This world-class, prodigious Pinot Noir is probably better than 90% of the red Burgundies being produced. (RP) 98+" (06/2014)
Current Bid: $555.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Sine Qua Non "The Gorgeous Victim" California Grenache (98JD, 98RP, 97VN). Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple in color, this wine has a very serious nose of game, fertile soil, crushed rocks and new leather over a wonderfully pure, well-defined core of crushed black cherries and ripe blackberries with wafts of unsmoked cigars and Sichuan pepper. Full-bodied, rich, concentrated and built like a brick house, it has a solid backbone of firm, finely grained tannins and great acidity, finishing long and mineral laced. (LPB)" (08/2020)
Starting Bid: $450.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1996 Margaux, Margaux (100JA, 98RP, 98TWI, 97JD). Jane Anson: "One of the wines of 20th century Bordeaux, now at a beautiful moment to drink. I have been lucky enough to taste this a few times recnently, and it delivers every time. Floral edges, gunsmoke, peony, gentle intensity that builds before you even feel it happening, leading to a subtle intensity. This floats above the glass, sweet fruit and silky tannns. 100% new oak. Paul Pontallier director, delivering a stunning wine." (06/2022)
Current Bid: $1,390.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2021 Thierry Germain (des Roches Neuves) "Clos de l’Echelier" Saumur-Champigny Rouge.
Current Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Peter Michael "Ma Danseuse" Fort Ross-Seaview Pinot Noir (100RP). Wine Advocate: "The compelling 2012 Pinot Noir Ma Danseuse (1, 480 cases) is even better than the 2013. Notes of lead pencil shavings, DRC-like forest floor, black raspberry, blackcurrant, Asian plum sauce, rose petal and sweet cherry characteristics are found in this spectacular, multidimensional, prodigious Pinot Noir that should drink well for 10-15+ years. The clonal material probably came from one of the DRC vineyards, so it is not surprising that in this cool climate, with the great fruit purity California can achieve, there is a DRC-like resemblance. (RP)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $540.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Pisoni "Estate" Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir (OWC - 98JD, 95RP, 95WE, 94VN, 93JS, 93WS) in original wood. Jeb Dunnuck: "As to the red, the 2017 Pinot Noir is a great example of this vineyard as well as the vintage. Lots of cassis, smoked earth, flowers, and ground herb notes define the bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, it has beautiful purity and elegance as well as ample mid-palate depth and concentration. California Pinot Noir doesn’t get much better, and this is capable of evolving for over a decade." (06/2019)
Current Bid: $222.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Corison Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96DC, 94JG, 94VN, 93JS, 93WS, 92W&S). Decanter: "Beautifully perfumed aromas of rose petal, violets, blackberry, dark chocolate and incipient cigar tobacco burst from the glass in a striking array, the prelude to a wine that’s structured around refined, savoury tannins and juicy acidity. An ethereal and classically proportioned Cabernet which will age effortlessly thanks to its flawless balance, likely putting on weight with bottle age. Terrific stuff; not to be missed. *Top Five Wines of the Vintage* (WK)" (09/2016)
Current Bid: $196.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Realm "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 98JD, 97JS, 96VN, 96WE, 95DC). Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr Crane Vineyard (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) is very deep garnet-black in color and gives a truly profound nose of chargrill, pencil lead, crushed rocks and tar with a core of crème de cassis, licorice, dark chocolate and mincemeat pie with wafts of cardamom and cumin seed. The powerful, full-bodied palate gives a firm, ripe structure to match the incredible concentration of fruit, finishing long and earthy. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Current Bid: $305.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Dominique Laurent Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Les Suchots" ((93-95RP), 93ST). Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Vosne Romanee Les Suchots Vieilles Vignes – of which, like the Beaux Monts, there will be a relatively generous 125 cases – is slightly less overtly rich than that wine, but with a sleek, refined, subtly flower-tinged liqueur-like fruit character, in this case of black currant and cherry. Smoked meat as well as vanilla cream character and subtle caramelization from the wood are nicely balanced by bitter notes of cherry pit and chalky minerality. This Pinot’s polished, creamy length is irresistible – finessed rather than flamboyant. (DS)" (06/2007)
Current Bid: $405.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Viña Cobos "Marchiori Vineyard Block C2" Malbec Lujan de Cuyo.
Current Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Barnett "Rattlesnake Hill" Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Rattlesnake is their reserve wine and has been called this since 1991, no doubt because of the number of rattlesnakes that populated the property. It is usually their greatest wine, when they declare it. They only made 69 cases in 2014, so this is a tough one to find. The color is opaque ruby/purple and the wine has a few extra gears in it, with plenty of blueberry, cassis, forest floor and white flowers, followed by a full-bodied, beautifully built style of wine. This wine goes on and on – it is incredible rich, but with no defects or hard edges. A full-bodied, lush, elegant, yet powerful wine, this is a classic Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 20+ years. (RP) 95+" (12/2016)
Current Bid: $271.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Pride Mountain Napa-Sonoma Counties Merlot (92ST, 90RP). Int'l Wine Cellar: "Moderately saturated bright red-ruby. Sexy aromas of currant, black cherry, chocolate, mocha and brown spices. At once sweet and precise, with captivating inner-mouth floral perfume to the firm-edged flavors of dark berries, graphite and fresh herbs. A bit youthfully taut but this is very impressive for a wine made in large quantity (5, 300 cases in 2010). Finishes with lovely verve and the spine for aging. (ST)" (05/2013)
Current Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2010 Tablas Creek "Esprit de Beaucastel" Paso Robles Rhône Blend ((93-95JD), 95RP, (93-95VN), 92ST) and 2-bottles of 2013 Tablas Creek "Esprit de Tablas" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (93VN, 93WE, 91CG, 91RP). Of the 2010 Tablas Creek "Esprit de Beaucastel" Paso Robles Rhône Blend, Vinous writes: "In this vintage, the 2010 Esprit de Beaucastel is decidedly huge. An exciting array of dark red fruit, black cherries, licorice and tar come together beautifully. At first large-scaled and sweeping in personality, the wine finds more refined registers on the finish, where floral notes add a measure of lift and finesse. Today, the 2010 is a baby, though. (AG)" (08/2012)
Current Bid: $95.00

Bid on this 5-bottle tasting lot; including 3-bottles of 2017 Linne Calodo "Problem Child" Paso Robles Red Blend (96VN, 95RP, 94JD, 93WS) and 2-bottles of 2018 Linne Calodo "Problem Child" Paso Robles Red Blend (96VN, 95JD). Of the 2017 Linne Calodo "Problem Child" Paso Robles Red Blend, Vinous writes: "Bright purple. Highly expressive aromas of mineral-tinged dark berry preserves, incense and candied licorice are complicated by a sexy floral nuance. Smoky and seamless in texture, offering alluringly sweet black and blue fruit, spicecake and floral pastille flavors braced by a spine of juicy acidity. Finishes with outstanding clarity, mounting tannins and floral-dominated tenacity, leaving blue fruit and exotic spice notes behind. (JR)" (02/2020)
Current Bid: $315.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Paul Lato "Lancelot-Pisoni Vineyard" Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir (96RP, 92VN) and 1-bottle of 2014 Paul Lato "Seabiscuit - Zotovich Vineyard" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (95RP). Of the 2014 Paul Lato "Lancelot-Pisoni Vineyard" Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir, Wine Advocate writes: "Coming from a block that was recently replanted (this cuvee won't be made after 2015), the 2014 Pinot Noir Lancelot Pisoni Vineyard is always one of the larger framed, mineral-laced wines from Paul. Offering lots of crushed rock and mineral nuances, with a core of red currants, raspberry, smoked earth and charcoal, it leans towards the blacker fruits, is medium to full-bodied, gorgeously textured and has a finish that won't quit. Like all of Paul's wines, it's impeccably balanced. (JD)" (08/2016)
Current Bid: $92.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2019 L'Aventure "Optimus Estate" Paso Robles Red Blend (1.5L) (96JS, 94DC, 94JD, 92RP) and 1-bottle of 2019 L'Aventure "Reserve" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (98JD, 97RP, 96JS, 96VN). Of the 2019 L'Aventure "Reserve" Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L), Jeb Dunnuck writes: "The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve checks in as 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot that was aged 15 months in new barrels. It’s another seamless, incredibly pure, focused expression of this variety that will stand up to any Cabernet out there. Lots of crème de cassis, lead pencil, sweet tobacco, and chalky minerality all flow to a full-bodied red with ultra-fine tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish. It’s going to benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age, and I suspect it won’t hit its early stages of maturity until after a solid decade." (09/2021)
Current Bid: $235.00

Bid on this magnum of 2018 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac (1.5L) (98JD, 97JS, 97TWI, 97WS, 96DC, 96JA, 96RP, 96VN, 96WE). Jeb Dunnuck: "One of the finest vintages I've ever tasted from this address, the 2018 Château Lynch-Bages has everything you look for in a great wine: incredible aromatics, richness without weight, perfect balance, and a purity of fruit that's just about off the charts. Dense purple, it reveals a glorious perfume of blackcurrants and blackberry fruits, a deep, unctuous mouthfeel, building tannins, and a complex array of cedar pencil, tobacco, wood smoke, and chocolate. A true blockbuster in every sense, with masses of fruit and tannins as well as moderate acidity, it will probably merit a triple-digit score in a decade and is a 50+-year wine from this team. 98+" (03/2021)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2013 Tensley "Colson Canyon Vineyard" Santa Barbara County Syrah (94RP, 94VN, 92WS) and 1-bottle of 2015 Tensley "Colson Canyon Vineyard" Santa Barbara County Syrah (95JD, 94VN, 94WS, 91WE). Of the 2015 Tensley "Colson Canyon Vineyard" Santa Barbara County Syrah, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "The 2015 Syrah Colson Canyon Vineyard is a straight up, beast of a Syrah. Its glass staining purple color is followed by a smorgasbord of Syrah goodness; blackberry jam, plums, exotic flowers, hints of tapenade, scrub brush and violets all literally soar from the glass. This gives way to a full-bodied, unctuous, and concentrated 2015 that has sweet tannin, notable freshness and a great finish. It’s primary and incredibly un-evolved, and needs 2-3 years of cellaring, yet is a sensational wine." (08/2017)

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien (100JD, 99JA, 99JS, 99RP, 98WE, 97VN, 97WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "Pure magic and one of the finest expressions of this estate I could imagine, as well as a perfect wine, the 2018 Château Léoville Las Cases comes from a mix of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, and 9% Cabernet Franc that spent 19 months in (I believe) all new French oak. Its dense purple color is followed by a profound wine loaded with notions of crème de cassis, lead pencil shavings, melon, crushed stone, tobacco, and violets. Full-bodied, concentrated, and massive on the palate, yet also incredibly well delineated and precise, it has a wonderful mix of seemingly ripe, sunny fruit from a warm year yet the minerality, purity, and precision of a cooler year. This wine is going to be just about immortal; however, do your best to hide bottles for a solid 10-15 years." (03/2021)

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2001 Le Vieux Donjon Châteauneuf-du-Pape (95RP, 94VN, 93WS) and 1-bottle of 2010 Le Vieux Donjon Châteauneuf-du-Pape (96JD, 96RP, 96WS, 94DC, 94VN). Of the 2010 Le Vieux Donjon Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Wine Advocate writes: "Another great Vieux Donjon, the 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape boasts fascinating, complex aromas of licorice, spice drops, black cherries, leather and dusty earth. Full-bodied and silky-textured, it's compelling stuff, long on the finish, with plenty of life still ahead of it. (JC)" (09/2023)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2021 Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg Vosne-Romanée "La Colombière". 93 points Decanter: "There is a fairly deep colour and ripe blackberry and plum fruit with hints of mineral and smoke. All of the fruit comes from their old vine holdings in the deep clay soils at the base of the slope in Vosne. The grapes are destemmed, and the fermenting must is punched down daily and pumped over in the morning and the evening. The wines are ageing know in cask (25% new). (Drink between 2027-2045) (CC)" (11/2022)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Turley "Dragon Vineyard" Howell Mountain Zinfandel (93WS). Wine Spectator: "Floral raspberry and loamy cracked pepper aromas open to luxuriously supple and layered cherry pie, smoky anise and sage flavors. Tannins ease in and frame the finish. (TF)" (02/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2004 Bruno Giacosa "Le Rocche del Falletto" Barolo Riserva (100VN, 98ST, 97JS, 96WS). Vinous: "The 2004 Barolo Riserva Le Rocche del Falletto is simply as profound as wine can be. Period. Strikingly layered, perfumed and sensual to the core, the 2004 has it all. Next to the straight Falletto, the Rocche is more refined but also quite a bit more backward as well. Mint, rose petal and melted road tar grace the exquisite finish. The level of intensity here is simply mind-blowing. At ten years of age, the 2004 Rocche is a youngster, but it is clearly a wine of divine inspiration. For readers who look at the numbers, the score is the only possible score. (AG)" (11/2014)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Peter Michael "Point Rouge" Knights Valley Chardonnay (99RP). Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Chardonnay Point Rouge offers up plenty of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, pineapple and baked brioche notes, subtle oak, and a wonderfully multi-dimensional, prodigious mouthfeel and length. This super-intense Chardonnay is exquisite and a tour de force in winemaking. (RP)" (12/2015)
