Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2017 Work Vineyard "Zina’s" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (92JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "Lots of ripe strawberry and framboise as well as ample spice and candied flower notes emerge from the 2017 Pinot Noir Zina's, a rich, medium to full-bodied, classic Russian River Pinot Noir. It packs a serious core of fruit yet stays beautifully balanced and is a joy to drink." (08/2020)
Current Bid: $120.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Sine Qua Non "Ziehharmonika" California Syrah (99JD, 99RP, 98VN). Wine Advocate: "Medium to deep garnet-purple colored—WOW—perfumed black and blue fruits prance out of the glass, revealing accents of candied violets and cinnamon stick, supporting the plum preserves, blackberry compote and garrigue-scented core, plus hints of molten dark chocolate, licorice, Chinese five spice and bacon with a touch of iron ore. The densely laden, full-bodied palate is seriously showy, featuring flamboyant black fruit preserves and exotic spice layers with a solid backbone of ripe, rounded tannins and bold freshness, finishing with epic length and loads of earth, pepper and floral fireworks. (LPB)" (08/2021)
Current Bid: $195.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Greenock Creek "Seven Acre" Shiraz Barossa Valley. Praise for the wines of Greenock Creek from Robert Parker for Wine Advocate: "This has always been one of my favorite Barossa wineries - great proprietors, tiny yields, old vines, and a hands-off style of winemaking. Of all the flights we tasted, these stood out as the most riveting wines of the entire tasting. The Shiraz cuvees were off the charts - every one still young and not close to full maturity. These are all high octane wines (14.5-16% alcohol), but any evidence of wood (little new oak is used here except for the limited production Roennfeldt Road cuvee) is completely buried under the aromatic complexity and richness." (06/2009)
Current Bid: $63.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Morlet "La Proportion Dorée" Sonoma County White Wine (95RP, 93VN). Wine Advocate: "One of the finest blends of its kind, the La Proportion Dorée (Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and a dollop of Muscadelle) reminds me of a California version of the limited production Château Haut-Brion Blanc, even though that wine has less Semillon and no Muscadelle. The 2013 Proprietary White La Proportion Dorée is composed of 67% Semillon, 31% Sauvignon Blanc and 2% Muscadelle from 29-year-old, dry-farmed vineyards. There is only a single cluster per shoot, which results in tiny yields. The wine is barrel-fermented with frequent lees stirring. A killer white, it is full-bodied with notes of caramelized lemon candy, honeysuckle, candle wax, flowers and tropical fruit marmalade. (RP)" (12/2014)
Starting Bid: $70.00

Bid on this bottle of 1999 Corino Barolo "Arborina" (93ST, 90RP, 90WS). Int'l Wine Cellar: "Good full red. Roasted red fruits, marzipan, tobacco and earth on the clean, fresh nose, complicated by sexy, nutty oak. Concentrated, suave and deep, with a sappy core of fruit; more perfumed and delineated in the middle today than the Giachini or Roncaglia. Finishes lush but firm and juicy, with notes of leather and game and the positive austerity that characterizes the best wines from this vintage. Tannins dust the teeth and tongue. A terrific showing. 93(+?) points" (11/2002)
Current Bid: $37.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Sinegal "Reserve" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - (94-96RP), 95JD, 94VN) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve exhibits a terrific intensity and richness and could easily equal what they achieved with their 2013 Reserve. (RP)" (12/2015)
Current Bid: $280.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Charlier & Fils Special Club Brut Champagne. Founded in 1892, Charlier & Fils is a family-run Champagne house in Montigny-sous-Châtillon, rooted in five generations of winemaking tradition. The estate is renowned for aging all its wines in large oak casks. From the producer, "In our region, endowed with a unique soil and climate, our vineyard is located on the right bank of the Marne valley. The village of Montigny-sous-Châtillon is on the Route Touristique du Champagne, a route taken by many tourists all year round. The exposure of our vines is an asset for our production, since most of them are located in full south, which allows us to obtain an excellent maturity of the grapes, in particular for the harvest."
Current Bid: $80.00

Bid on this bottle of 2004 Recanati, Special Reserve, Cabernet Sauvignon Israel (Kosher). According to Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2004 Special Reserve is 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot. It is a bit more full bodied than their other wines, but it has a green streak, especially on the nose, that will be a bit off-putting to some, although it moderated with air. It is reasonably well constructed, with well integrated tannins, an elegant feel, some persistence on the finish and a velvety texture, but there is a lot of olive and bell pepper here. The rest may not be quite impressive enough to balance it out." (12/07)
Current Bid: $27.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Vérité "La Joie" Sonoma County Bordeaux Blend (94ST). Int'l Wine Cellar: "Full, bright ruby. Aromas of blackcurrant, espresso and spice, lifted by a perfumed violet component. Silky and compellingly sweet; may not be as fat as the '99, but this is extremely stylish and aromatic, thanks to the addition of the cabernet franc. Wonderfully delineated and vibrant in the mouth. Finishes extremely long and subtle, with thoroughly suave tannins. The Verite wines appear destined to become California collectibles. (ST) 94+" (05/2002)
Current Bid: $99.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2021 Work Vineyard "Zina’s" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Work Vineyard was founded in 1976 by Karen and Henry Work in Calistoga, initially producing Sauvignon Blanc. In 2007, Lamya and Sam Malhotra acquired the estate, replanting it with Cabernet Sauvignon and expanding production. Winemaker Kari Auringer led production from 2012 to 2022.
Current Bid: $120.00

Bid on this magnum of 2001 Chateau Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (95VN, 92RP). Vinous: "Captivating floral lift to the very primary aromas of black cherry, cassis, minerals and earth, plus subtle notes of coffee and mocha. Tactile and sharply delineated, delivering a wonderful balance of sweet fruit and salty mineral and soil elements. Still linear but not at all angular, this penetrating wine finishes firmly tannic, classically dry, subtle and very long, with echoing mineral complexity. Really complete Cabernet here--and stuffed with flavor. (ST)" (06/2020)
Current Bid: $185.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Rhys "Alpine Hillside Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (100JD, 97VN, 96JG, 96RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "The tiny production 2018 Pinot Noir Alpine Vineyard Hillside comes from a tiny 2.25-acre parcel in the Alpine Vineyard and is from a massale selection of heritage clones. Aged in a mix of new and used French oak, it has a gorgeous, Burgundian bouquet of red and black fruits, potpourri, sous bois, spice box, and dried flowers. It's not the biggest or richest wine in the lineup, yet it's perfectly balanced, has a thrilling texture, ample mid-palate depth, and flawlessly integrated tannins, fruit, and acidity. The Vosne-Romanée of California? This incredible, magical Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir builds with time in the glass and is going to benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and blow you away over the following decade or more. Hats off to the team at Rhys for making one of the greatest Pinot Noirs from California I’ve ever tasted!" (09/2020)
Current Bid: $117.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Red Mare Wines "Alpha Mare" Napa Valley Red Blend.
Starting Bid: $85.00

Bid on this magnum of 2003 Argiano "Solengo" Toscana (OWC - 90WS) in original wood. Wine Spectator: "Aromas of vanilla, licorice, mint and berries follow through to a full-bodied palate, with silky tannins and a vanilla cream and raspberry aftertaste. Very jammy style. But it grows on you. Move over Australia." (10/2005)
Current Bid: $110.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Hundred Acre "Kayli Morgan" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100RP) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "Like all of the Jayson Woodbridge wines, it can be noted for its inky/bluish purple color, extraordinary fragrance of white flowers, crème de cassis, blackberry and graphite. Totally opulent, I always thought the wine tasted more like the great Pomerols, which are made mostly from Merlot, versus Woodbridge’s 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. But this vineyard has a lot of clay in it that seems to provide a silkiness to the tannins. This is a beautifully balanced, full-throttle and highly extracted wine with no hard edges and a finish of a good 45-50 seconds. The fruit character is still vibrant and intense, despite the 32 months of oak age. (RP)" (10/2016)
Current Bid: $2,900.00

Bid on this bottle of 1970 Mouton Rothschild, Pauillac (96WS, 95JA, 94VN, 93RP). Wine Spectator: "Deep garnet; fragrant tar and black truffle nose; extremely concentrated; big and mouth-filling, with very dense cassis flavor; enormous, generous fruit; a voluptuous claret." (05/1993)
Current Bid: $305.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2022 Work Vineyard "Zina’s" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir.

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Benjamin Leroux Clos-Saint-Denis Grand Cru (94BH, 94RP, 93JM, 93VN). Wine Advocate: "One of Leroux's finest reds is the 2019 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru, an ample and enveloping wine that offers up aromas of raspberries, red fruit compote, orange rind, exotic spices and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and charming, with fine concentration and lively acids, it's velvety and seamless, concluding with a long, oak-inflected finish. (WK)" (09/2021)
Current Bid: $440.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Beringer "Private Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 95ST, 94VN, 94WS, 92CG, 91JS, 91WE). Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve is built from completely different sources. Sixty-six percent came from the St. Helena Home Ranch, 18% from the Chabot Vineyard, and the rest from Beringer's estates in St. Helena, Rutherford and Coombsville. It is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that came in at 14.6% natural alcohol with a pH of 3.8. Perhaps the greatest Beringer Private Reserve since the 2007, 2005, 2002 and 2001, the 2010 offers up notes of lead pencil shavings, creme de cassis, subtle smoke, wet rocks and background oak. Full-bodied, rich and impressive, it can be drunk now or cellared for two decades. (RP)" (10/2013)
Current Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Clos Saint-Jean "Deus Ex Machina" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (100JD, 98RP, 96VN, 96WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "More cured meats, spice, loamy soil notes, and an incredible core of kirsch and currant fruits emerge from the 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Deus Ex Machina. Deep, incredibly concentrated, multi-dimensional and long, it reminds me of the 2007 at this same point in time. This cuvée is always a 60/40 split of Grenache and Mourvèdre, brought up in tank and new demi-muids, and in top vintages, needs 2-5 years of bottle age to really shine, yet I always also fine a certain accessibility given its balance and purity. It’s capable of lasting for two decades." (08/2018)
Current Bid: $269.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Continuum Oakville Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 94TWI, 94W&S, 92WE, 91WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Proprietary Red is mainly sourced from the To Kalon vineyard and is composed of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc and 19% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-brick in color, it features a wonderfully spicy nose of fenugreek, cumin seed and cloves over a core of blackberry and plum preserves, tobacco and dusty soil with a hint of dried rosemary on roasted lamb. The palate is full-bodied, rich and seductive with plush tannins and wonderfully exotic spices on the long finish. (LPB)" (02/2019)
Current Bid: $412.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Morlet "Ma Douce" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (96RP, 93VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Chardonnay Ma Douce bursts forth from the glass with bold, beautiful aromas of mandarin peel, fresh grapefruit and apricots with hints of honeyed toast and candied ginger. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is simply electric with intense stone fruit and citrus layers and a silken texture lifted by a lively acid line, finishing long with mineral and spice suggestions. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Current Bid: $65.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Dancing Hares Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 94VN). Wine Advocate: "Their flagship wine, the 2013 Proprietary Red Dancing Hares is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The color is a saturated ruby/purple, the nose sightly more restrained than the Mad Hatter, but intense, deep and promising. The wine is extremely full-bodied, with notes of chocolate, espresso, crème de cassis, licorice and blackberry, this has killer intensity, super full-bodied richness, but is relatively light on its feet for this kind of mass and richness. This is a fabulous wine and certainly a great 2013, which is saying something in a vintage that is this incredible. (RP) 98+ " (12/2015)
Current Bid: $371.50

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2020 Darioush "Signature" Napa Valley Viognier. Since the late 1990s, Darioush has crafted classic Napa Valley wines imbued with the depth and richness that characterize modern California wines. The warm 2020 vintage yielded prime Viognier grapes from their vineyards, which are located in Oak Knoll and Carneros. Both appellations benefit from the maritime influences of the nearby San Pablo Bay, which lowers average temperatures across Southern Napa and promotes the type of steady, even ripening that leads to rich, aromatically expressive, long-lived white wines like this Viognier. Barrel-fermented in 60% neutral French oak and aged sur-lie for seven months, the 2020 Darioush Viognier is full-bodied and round on the palate, with an array of ripe tropical aromas and just-picked citrus flavors.
Current Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 6-half-bottle lot of 2009 Doisy-Védrines, Sauternes (375ml) (95VN, 94WS, 93WE, (90-92JG), 92JS, 90RP). Vinous: The 2009 Doisy-Védrines has a gorgeous bouquet with passion fruit, quince, beeswax and light figgy aromas that are well defined and gain intensity with aeration. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity that cuts through the pure botrytised fruit and leads to a gorgeous viscous finish. Olivier Castèja made a fabulous Barsac this year. (NM) (03/2019)
Current Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Conterno Fantino "Castelletto - Vigna Pressenda" Barolo (96VN). Vinous: "The 2019 Barolo Castelletto Vigna Pressenda is gorgeous. Delicate and perfumed in the glass, the 2019 offers up a beguiling mélange of dark red cherry, rose petal, mint, cedar, blood orange, spice and crushed autumn leaves. In 2019, the Monforte tannins are especially refined, something that is very rarely the case here at this stage. What a wonderfully precise, sophisticated, nuanced wine this is. Impressive. (AG)" (01/2023)
Current Bid: $120.00

Bid on this bottle of 2015 Dhondt-Grellet "Les Nogers" Blanc de Blancs 1er Cru Extra Brut Champagne (96RP). Wine Advocate: "Disgorged in May 2020 with one gram per liter dosage, the 2015 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru Les Nogers bursts from the glass with notions of citrus oil, white flowers, green almonds, crisp orchard fruit and freshly baked bread. Full-bodied, layered and muscular, with chalky structuring extract and lively acids, it's textural but incisive, with a long, penetrating finish. This is another fantastic Les Nogers from the talented Adrien Dhondt. (WK)" (03/2021)
Current Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Domaine Bouchard Père & Fils Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru (96JS, 95WS, 94RP, (91-93BH), 93DC). James Suckling: "This has quite pronounced vanilla oak, but has only just been bottled. As it aerates, notes of ripe pear, citrus and pineapple develop. Rich and creamy, this makes a bold statement, but also has lovely freshness that complements the generous body. Keeps pumping out the flavors for a long time at the finish." (07/2021)
Current Bid: $410.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Rhys "Horseshoe Hillside Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir (99JD, 98RP, 98VN, 95JG, 93BH). Jeb Dunnuck: "The flagship 2018 Pinot Noir Horseshoe Vineyard Black Label comes from a tiny section of this vineyard and is another beautiful wine from this team that does everything right. Ripe pomegranate, red currants, iodine, crushed stone, new leather, and wood smoke all emerge from the glass, and this beauty hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a flawless texture, silky tannins, and a great, great finish. The purity and elegance of the 2018 vintage is front and center, it has incredible complexity, perfect balance, and is just a singular, gorgeously complete Pinot Noir to enjoy over the coming 15 years or more." (09/2020)
Current Bid: $131.55

Bid on this 4-magnum lot of 2016 E. Guigal Côtes du Rhône (1.5L) (91RP, 90VN). Wine Advocate: There are an impressive 4.5 million bottles of the 2016 Cotes du Rhone, a ripe, silky wine that should bring pleasure to thousands of consumers. Cherries and raspberries mark the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate adds nuances of cola, tree bark and spice. (JC) (12/2019)
Current Bid: $133.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Domaine Louis Jadot Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru ((97-99RP)). Wine Advocate: "Produced from 85 year old vines, Jadot’s 2002 Chapelle-Chambertin is the finest example of this vineyard I’ve ever put to my lips. Its awesome aromatics reveal coconut, vanilla, super-ripe blackberries, licorice, and cherries. On the palate, this stunning wine is extraordinarily expansive, conquering the taster with wave after wave of viscous (yet fresh and juicy) black fruits. Medium to full-bodied and seamless, this harmonious, chewy-textured gem lingers on the palate for over a minute. It has power, grace, muscle, and elegance. What more can you ask for? (PR)" (06/2004)
Current Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2005 Domaine Lucie & Auguste Lignier Clos de la Roche Grand Cru ((92-95BH)). Burghound: "And speaking of typical, as usual this is the best wine in the range with a simply gorgeous range of seductive if serious aromas that include both red and blue pinot fruit, spice notes, game and underbrush hints that continue onto the classy, pure and wonderfully deep and palate-staining flavors oozing with ripe extract that completely buffer the firm but ripe tannins. A stunner of a wine. *Don't Miss!*" (01/2007)
Current Bid: $630.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Volnay 1er Cru "Caillerets" ((91-95JM), (91-94BH), (92-94RP), (92-94VN)). Jasper Morris: "A fine deep colour. Though in theory the Caillerets has the same percentage of new barrels as the others (20 to 25%), the wood is more marked on the nose, but don’t worry, this wine will soon digest it. There is really significant weight on the palate, and a smooth long finish. Raspberries and cream." (11/2019)
Current Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2003 Far Niente Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (94WE, 93RP). Wine Enthusiast: "In the wine's youth, the aroma of new oak dominates, with that smoky, minty, spicy-char note. But in the mouth the fruit explodes in intensely ripe black currants and milk chocolate. The tannins are rich and softly complex. A complete Cabernet that is luscious now, but has the balance to develop, if you can keep your hands off it." (12/2006)
Current Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Favia "Cerro Sur" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (94RP, 93VN, 90WS). Wine Advocate: "Favia's 2009 Cerro Sur shows gorgeous energy and finesse. Dark red berries, flowers, mint and mocha are some of the many nuances that are layered through the mid-palate and into the finish. The 2009 stands out for its vibrancy and lively underlying minerality. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019. (AG)" (12/2011)
Current Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1971 Franco Fiorina Barbaresco Riserva (92JG). John Gilman: "The 1971 Barbaresco Riserva from Franco Fiorina is another fine example of the vintage, but this wine is a bit more structured and nobly rustic than its counterpart bottled for the Cavalieri del Tartufo. The deep and still slightly youthful nose delivers scents of black cherries, dark berries, curry, gamebirds, road tar and forest floor. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, complex and rock solid at the core, with fine focus, a fair bit of chewy tannin and excellent length and grip on the tangy and promising finish. I know this sounds crazy for a forty-three year-old Barbaresco, but this wine is really not yet ready for primetime drinking and I would not hesitate to give it another five years in the cellar prior to popping it in earnest! (Drink between 2019-2040) 92+" (08/2014)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2020 Larcis Ducasse, St-Emilion (99JD, 99TWI, 98DC, 98JS, 98VN, 97JA). Jeb Dunnuck: "The Grand Vin comes from a tiny 11.15-hectare vineyard that has been in the Gratiot family since 1893. Located on the south-facing Côte Pavie, between Château Pavie and Château Bellefont-Belcier and consisting of clay on top of limestone soils, the vineyard has recently been going through a replanted phase using a selection massale and a higher density planting. The grapes are hand-sorted, vinification occurs all in concrete and spans four weeks, with the élevage in 50% new French oak. A normal blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, the 2020 Château Larcis Ducasse reminds me of the 2005 and is up with the top handful of wines on the Right Bank. It has a brilliant perfume of red and black fruits, white truffle, leafy tobacco, and Asian spices. " (03/2023)
Current Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2020 l'Eglise-Clinet, Pomerol ((97-99JD), (98-99JS), 99TWI, 98VN, 97DC, 97JA, 97RP). James Suckling: "A linear and transparent red with violets and dark fruits with sliced tangerines. Full- to medium-bodied with firm and racy tannins. Brightness and energy. Hints of chocolate and malted milk. Lovely purity to it. Drink after 2026 and onwards." (03/2023)
Current Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 Lewis Cellars "Cuvée L" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96WS, 90RP). Wine Spectator: "Combines power with finesse. Pure, rich, polished Cabernet fruit, dark berry, subtle oak, sandalwood and cedar are slow in emerging but do so in a very pleasing manner, ending with kirsch, black licorice and dense berry flavors. Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.—2001 California Cabernet blind retrospective (June 2011). Drink now through 2022. 125 cases made. (Web-2011)"
Starting Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Macauley "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ((94-96RP), 95WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is an assemblage of different top sites in Napa, from the Star Vineyard in Rutherford to the Beckstoffer To Kalon in Oakville. This is still in barrel and awaiting bottling, but it looks to be a killer wine. Inky purple in color, with gloriously ripe blackberry and cassis fruit, some licorice, incense and graphite, the wine is full-bodied, multi-layered, and stunningly rich and long. It should turn out to be a fabulous effort to drink over the next 15-20 years. (RP)" (12/2016)
Current Bid: $380.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Promise Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Antonio Galloni writes: "Steve McPherson left behind a successful career as television executive to focus on his dream of making world-class wine. Promise emerges from a plot in Rich Frank’s Winston Hill vineyard in Rutherford. The wine spends about 30 months in new French oak barrels. There is no shortage of boutique wineries in Napa Valley, but Promise is the real deal. Steve McPherson and his team have succeeded in crafting one of the most unique Cabernet Sauvignons readers will come across."
Current Bid: $375.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Pulido-Walker "Panek Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 97JD, 97RP, 95VN) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "Composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 20 months in French oak, 80% new, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Panek Vineyard St. Helena has a deep garnet-purple color and gives up coffee, dried herbs and garrigue notions over a crème de cassis, blueberry pie and red currant jelly core with touches of cumin seed and black pepper. Medium to full-bodied, the taut, muscular palate is laden with savory and black fruit layers, featuring firm, ripe, grainy tannins and lovely freshness, finishing long and earthy. (LPB)" (12/2017)
Current Bid: $390.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 98IWR, 97DC, 96JS, 96RP, 96VN, 96WE). Jeb Dunnuck: "The flagship is the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon mostly from Champoux with the balance from Palengat and Wallula vineyards. Crème de cassis, graphite, black licorice, unsmoked tobacco, and hints of chocolate and emerge from this beauty and it continues to gain depth and nuance with time in the glass. Full-bodied, deep, and layered with an incredible purity and elegance on the palate, it's already accessible but has more than enough tannin, depth, and balance to evolve for two decades or more." (04/2018)
Current Bid: $296.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2020 Quintus, St-Emilion (OWC - (97-98JS), (94-96JD), 96TWI, (93-95WE), 94DC, 94RP, 94VN, 93JA) in original wood. James Suckling: "Wow. This is very chalky and salty with lots of mineral character. It shows lots of purple fruit and firm tannins. Racy and bright. Chewy yet fine tannins. Gorgeous. Gets better and better." (04/2021)
Current Bid: $421.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1997 Elio Grasso Barolo Ginestra Vigna Casa Mate. One of my favorite producers of Barolo. Elio Grasso is making monumental wines with great balance and classic varietal character. Split between the worlds of new wave and traditonal Piemontese winemaking Elio has been able to fuse the two incorporating the best of both. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2001 Rieussec, Sauternes (100JS, 100WS, 99JD). James Suckling: "This is a crazy wine! It’s sweet, but not sugary. Mushrooms, furniture wax, spices then dried oranges, lemons, pineapples, and just a hint of vanilla. Full-bodied, with great density and power, yet balanced and refined. So amazing, but give this five to six years still. Pull the cork in 2016. 145 grams RS." (05/2012)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Sine Qua Non "Capo dei Putti" Sta. Rita Hills Syrah (99JD, 98VN, 96RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Leading off the reds, the extended barrel-aged 2014 Syrah Capo Dei Putti boasts an insane bouquet of cedarwood, white chocolate, caramelized meats, candle way, and assorted red and black fruits. With full-bodied richness, ultra-fine tannins, and an incredible elegance, it changed every time I came back to the glass and is a multi-dimensional, riveting red wine from California. A blend of 90% Syrah and the balance Viognier, Petite Sirah, and Grenache, partially destemmed and aged 38 months in 94% new French oak, give this beauty 2-3 years of bottle age, count yourself lucky, and enjoy bottles over the following 10-15 years."
