Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2017 Tor Kenward Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP, 91VN). Wine Advocate: "This is the first time TOR has made a barrel selection from their Oakville vineyards, predominantly Tierra Roja in Oakville East. It is composed of barrels selected to reveal the "red-fruited, softer, juicier side of the Tierra Roja vineyard". Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with open-knit notes of warm red and black plums, kirsch and cassis with wafts of bay leaves, tar, underbrush and tilled soil. Medium-bodied, the palate has bold freshness and a firm frame of chewy tannins with a core of evocative, crunchy red and black fruits, finishing long and earthy. (LPB) 92+" (10/2019)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2017 Domaine Jean-Marc & Hughes Pavelot Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru "Aux Guettes".
Current Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2020 Domaine Jean Foillard "Cuvée Corcelette" Morgon. William Kelley of Wine Advocate writes: "Jean and Agnès Foillard's first vintage was in 1981, but it was in 1985 that Jean began to work differently, influenced by his neighbor, the late Marcel Lapierre. Lapierre followed négociant and microbiologist Jules Chauvet in rejecting selected yeasts and manipulative winemaking in favor of minimal effective sulfur dioxide and carbonic maceration at comparatively low temperatures. Today, Foillard remains true to that approach: His Morgon cuvées see some three weeks of maceration in tank before gentle pressing and élevage in used Burgundy barrels. Chaptalization is eschewed. He also gives his wines a little bottle age before release."
Current Bid: $196.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of Quinta do Noval Black Port (91JD, 90RP, 90W&S), 1-bottle of 1965 Trader Joe's "Chateau Diana" California Port, 1-bottle of 1980 Ferreira Vintage Port, and 1-bottle of 1994 Quinta do Crasto Vintage Port (93WS, (90-91RP)). Of the 1994 Quinta do Crasto Vintage Port, Wine Spectator writes: "Wonderful concentration, with deep color and ripe fruit flavors accented by a hint of green bark. Full-bodied and moderately sweet, with big, chewy tannins, yet the finish is fine and elegant. A single quinta to watch in the future. (JS)" (04/1997)
Current Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 5-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2015 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Estate" Dry Creek Valley Syrah (95WE, 94JD, 93RP, 93VN), 1-bottle of 2016 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Estate" Dry Creek Valley Syrah (95WE, 94VN, 93JD, (91-93RP)), 1-bottle of 2019 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Estate" Dry Creek Valley Petite Sirah (95VN, 93JD), and 1-bottle of 2020 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Estate" Dry Creek Valley Petite Sirah (95WE, 93VN, 93WS). Of the 2015 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Estate" Dry Creek Valley Syrah, Wine Enthusiast writes: "This impressive and complex wine is alluring from the first whiff through the lingering finish. It front-loads spicy, smoky, meaty aromas followed by rich, chewy, pomegranate, black-pepper and cocoa-nib flavors that are deep and delicious. A velvety blanket of fine grained tannins soothes the palate. *Cellar Selection* (JG)" (03/2021)
Current Bid: $171.88

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Fleur Cardinale, St-Emilion (OWC - 96JA, 95JD, 94JS, 93RP, 93VN, 92DC, 92WE, 92WS) in original wood. Jane Anson: "The 2016 Fleur Cardinale is a muscular, beautiful and profound wine full of olive tapendade, tar, smoked earth, and tons of liquorice, bitter chocolate shavings, cassis and blueberry fruits. Things close in to a slate textured finish that gives balance and makes your mouth water, and as things open you get clearer peony floral aromatics curling out of the glass. This was the point at which the Decoster family were really making me sit up and take notice of what was happening at Fleur Cardinale, and it is starting to sing as five years old." (10/2021)
Current Bid: $291.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2016 Domaine Raymond Usseglio "Cuvée Impériale - Vignes Centenaires" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (97JD, 95DC, 95RP, 95VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The flagship is the Grenache-dominated 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Imperiale, which comes from vines planted in 1902 and was destemmed and aged in concrete tanks. Awesome notes of blackberries, blueberries, crushed rocks, violets, and graphite all emerge from this tight, full-bodied, concentrated and backward Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Possessing incredible purity of fruit, a concentrated yet fresh, structured profile, and a huge finish, it just needs time to shine. 97+" (08/2018)
Current Bid: $370.00

Bid on this magnum of 2017 Kinsman Eades "Anjea - Sleeping Lady Vineyard" Yountville Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 95WS, 94RP, 94VN) in original wood. Wine Spectator: "This has a smoldering intensity to its mix of blackberry, plum and black currant paste flavors that are supported by sleek, structured flavors of roasted apple wood and grippy tar. A bolt of cast iron lurks deeply on the finish as the fruit keeps pace all the way through. (JM, Web-2021)"
Current Bid: $338.00

Bid on this 9-bottle lot of 1991 Chateau Potelle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Chateau Potelle was founded in 1983 by Jean-Noel Fourmeaux, a Bordeaux native sent to Napa Valley after the 1976 Judgment of Paris to evaluate American wines. Captivated by the region, he stayed and launched the winery. Focused on small-batch, hillside-grown wines, Chateau Potelle emphasizes minimal intervention, natural yeasts, and fruit-forward expressions.
Current Bid: $235.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Léoville-Barton, St-Julien (94DC, 94JD, 94TWI, 94WE, 94WS, 92RP). Wine Enthusiast: "Right at the top of its form, this 2006 is one of the finest wines to come out of the vintage. The wine is structured and dense, but with such heartwarming ripe fruit that the tannins are almost submerged. There is just a hint of wood, but juicy black currant continues right through to the end. In a year, the fruit will lessen, and long aging begin. *Top 100 Cellar Selections of 2009* (RV)" (03/2009)
Current Bid: $230.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2008 Langoa-Barton, St-Julien (92JS, 92WE, 91JD, 91WS, 90DC, 90RP, 90ST). Wine Enthusiast: "An open, generous wine that sings easily. It has great ripe berry fruit, with fresh acidity as well as weight and richness, making it more powerful than some vintages of this wine. *Editors' Choice* (RV)" (04/2011)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1987 Château Montelena "Estate" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98RP, 95WS). Wine Advocate: "Château Montelena has made so many sensational Cabernets that it seems almost impossible to believe that their 1987 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate could be even more profound than any of the exceptional wines made previously at this property. The black/purple color, the extraordinary bouquet of rich cassis, violets, and licorice, the massive extraction of flavors, sensational depth, super ripeness, and a length that must last over a minute, suggest to me that this is easily the most concentrated and potentially longest-lived Cabernet Sauvignon that Chateau Montelena has ever made. The extract level is incredible, yet the balance is there. (RP)" (10/1993)
Current Bid: $750.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1989 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "SLV- Fay" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. R-A-R-E! This vintage is the only SLV-Fay bottling. Chase Creek, a tributary of the Napa River, runs through both the S.L.V. and Fay vineyards, the source of two long-time single bottlings from Stag's Leap Wine Cellars.
Current Bid: $525.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1982 Calon-Ségur, St-Estèphe (94JG, 94RP, 91VN). Wine Advocate: "At age 40, the 1982 Calon-Ségur remains a powerful, muscular wine that still takes several hours to open up in the decanter. Exhibiting aromas of sweet blackcurrants, earthy undergrowth and pencil shavings, it's rich, full-bodied and concentrated, with imposing reserves of firm, powdery tannin underpinned by its deep core of fruit. This old school, unreconstructed claret, which I imagine was forbiddingly austere for much of the first three decades of its life, is a wine the likes of which simply aren't produced in contemporary Bordeaux. (WK)" (12/2022)
Current Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 1982 Bonalgue, Pomerol, 1-bottle of 1982 Chateau Lassalle, 1-bottle of 1982 de Sales, Pomerol, and 1-bottle of 1982 Segonzac, Cotes de Blaye. Of the 1982 de Sales, Pomerol, Pomerol produces some of the sexiest wines in all of Bordeaux. Chateau de Sales is the largest vineyard in Pomerol, the wines described by Robert Parker as "... prized for their sheer, supple, glossy, round, generous, ripe fruitiness and lush, silky personalities. De Sales has always made good wine, but the recent vintages have been particularly strong."
Current Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2007 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape (OWC - 96RP, 95JD, 95WS, 93VN) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Vieux Télégraphe may be the greatest wine made at this property since the 2005 and 1998. Dense ruby/purple-tinged with an exquisite nose of salty sea breezes, licorice, ground pepper, jammy black cherries, black currants, figs, and plums, this is a full-bodied, rich, Provencal-styled offering with lots of sweet, ripe tannin. It is surprisingly accessible for a Vieux Telegraphe (this wine normally shuts down several years after bottling), but it should have great longevity (25+ years) given its power, full-bodied mouthfeel, and enormous length and richness. This is a brilliant effort from brothers Frederic and Daniel Brunier. (RP) 96+" (10/2009)
Current Bid: $610.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2014 Monbousquet, St-Emilion (OWC - 93JS, 93WS, 91WE, 90RP) in original wood. James Suckling: "Very aromatic and fresh with lovely brightness and perfume. Medium to full body, fine and silky tannins and a bright finish. Ultra-fine and balanced Monbousquet. Better after 2020 but already very pretty." (02/2017)
Current Bid: $290.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1982 Le Bon Pasteur, Pomerol (96JS, 96RP, 91ST). Wine Advocate: "The few critics that Michel Rolland still has need to taste this wine to understand a wine that was fabulous to drink young, yet at age 27 continues to perform incredibly well. A classic Pomerol, it boasts a dark garnet color with only slight lightening at the edge as well as sensational aromas of creme brulee, chocolate-covered black cherries and currants, figs, and plums, full-bodied, powerful, rich flavors, and tremendous purity, opulence, and length. I thought this 1982 would be in its grave a decade ago, but it continues to show just what great balance and length can mean in Bordeaux. (RP)" (06/2009)
Current Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1982 La Conseillante, Pomerol (97RP, 96JG, 95VN, 94DC, 93ST). Wine Advocate: "One of the most sensual, viscerally appealing wines of the vintage is the 1982 La Conseillante, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping Pomerol that wafts from the glass with aromas of minty blackberries, raspberry liqueur, black truffle, sweet soils tones and spices. Supple and expansive, with melting tannins and a long, perfumed finish, it's one of my favorite 1982 Bordeaux today. (WK)" (06/2009)
Current Bid: $825.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1983 Forman Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. From legendary winemaker Ric Forman's first vintage under the Forman label! Quoting Forman: "After a three year search of the Napa Valley for the perfect location, I purchased, in 1978, the current winery/vineyard site which is perched on a ridge at the base of Howell Mountain overlooking the town of St. Helena. A remarkable site, it has produced some unusually elegant wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. A philosophy of winemaking which follows more a traditional approach as opposed to technological appealed to me early in my career. I would say that a familiarity with European tradition has seriously influenced my style and hence the fashion with which I designed and built my winery. Grapes are gently handled from harvest through fermentation.
Current Bid: $450.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1982 Chasse Spleen, Moulis. Wine Spectator: "Holding on. Bright ruby color, with a brick-red edge. Chocolate and berry aromas, with hints of tobacco. Medium-bodied, with ripe fruit and tobacco character, but rather dry on the finish. (JS)" (11/1998)
Current Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1982 Ormes De Pez, St-Estèphe. Wine Advocate: "The Ormes de Pez has a bouquet that certainly lacks subtlety, but it has retained good vigour with bacon fat, Italian deli, white pepper and touch of liquorice developing with time. The palate is medium-bodied, firm tannins, gentle grip with peppery dark fruit, a touch of cherry, soy, cooked meats, a saline note towards the finish. Very classic in style but this Saint Estephe has lasted well. (NM)" (07/2010)
Current Bid: $80.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1985 Meyney, St-Estèphe (92WS). Wine Spectator: " *Top 100 Wines of 1988* Hard-edged St. Estephe with enough of a finish of smooth vanilla and fruit to suggest that it will be more likeable as it ages and the tough, tannic structure and tobacco-herbal flavors resolve. Has the stuff you'd expect from a classed growth. *Top 100 Wines of 1988*" (08/1988)
Current Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1982 L'Evangile, Pomerol (98RP, 97DC, 97JS, 95ST, 94JG). Wine Advocate: "A blockbuster, dark plum/garnet-colored wine, the 1982 L’Evangile reveals a decadent, extravagantly rich nose of caramelized fruit, plum, licorice, smoked meats, and toffee. This opulent, full-bodied Pomerol caresses the palate with layers and layers of glycerin and fruit. The tannin is barely noticeable in this massive, rich, gorgeous effort. The complexity of the nose alone is worth a special admission price. (RP)" (06/2009)
Starting Bid: $1,245.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2018 Ridge Vineyards "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (94JS, 94WE, 93VN, 92CG, 92W&S) and 2-bottles of 2019 Ridge Vineyards "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (96DC, 95WE, 94JD, 94JS, 93RP, 92VN, 92WS). Of the 2019 Ridge Vineyards "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon, Decanter writes: "True to the vineyard’s mountain site, up to 814m (2, 670ft} in altitude, exposed to the cold Pacific, the wine has vivid cassis purity and a touch of green sage. (KM)" (11/2022)
Current Bid: $211.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1983 Prieuré-Lichine, Margaux (96WS). Wine Spectator: "No tasting notes published." (04/1986)
Current Bid: $110.00

Bid on this magnum of 2017 Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (OWC - 99JS, 96JD, 96VN) in original wood. James Suckling: "A very vertical wine with creamy, silky tannins running through the center of the wine and plenty of berries, herbs and currants intertwined with the tannins. Some tile and licorice undertones. It’s medium-to full-bodied. Excellent complexity. Extremely long. Svelte and racy. " (02/2020)
Current Bid: $3,995.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Bevan "EE - Tench Vineyard" Oakville Proprietary Red Blend (98JD, 96IWR, 96RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Cabernet Franc from the redder iron soils in the center of the vineyard, the 2017 Tench Vineyard EE Red Wine is another incredible wine in this lineup. Deep purple/black-colored, with mineral-drenched notes of blackcurrants, ground herbs, earth, graphite, and crushed rocks, it has an “iron fist in a velvet glove” style on the palate, loads of tannins, good acidity, and a big finish." (01/2020)
Starting Bid: $195.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 Latour, Pauillac (100DC, 100JS, 100RP, 100VN, 99WE, 99WS, 98JA). Vinous: "The 2010 Latour can be summed up in two words: “The king.” It convincingly asserts its superiority over other 2010s, including First Growths, in terms of its aromatic complexity, precision, balance, intensity, complexity and persistence. Simply a faultless Latour that ranks among its greatest achievements. Tasted from an ex-château bottle at the BI Wines & Spirits 10-Year On tasting. (NM)" (04/2020)
Current Bid: $876.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1983 Talbot, St-Julien (90RP, 90WS). Wine Advocate: "Still one of the best wines from this vintage, particularly in the Medoc, this wine shows notes of licorice, compost, saddle leather, and black fruits. (RP)" (01/2003)
Current Bid: $370.01

Bid on this bottle of 2019 Torrin "The Banshee" Willow Creek Rhone Blend (95JS, 95RP, 93VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2019 Banshee is a blend of 47% Mourvèdre, 35% Syrah and 18% Grenache, matured in 33% new French oak for 20 months. It has a medium ruby-purple color with detailed aromas of cranberry jelly, pomegranate, lavender, dried herbs and flint. The medium-bodied palate features crunchy fruit and fireworks of fresh acidity, with an approachable, chalky frame and long, spicy finish. Yum! The Banshee has a high proportion of Mourvèdre in the blend this vintage—winemaker Scott Hawley says the variety did exceptionally well in 2019. 461 cases were made. (EB)" (12/2022)
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Patrimony Adelaida District Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98RP, 97VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Patrimony is an extraordinarily long, layered and pure Cabernet Sauvignon. Made entirely from free-run juice and aged 30 months in new French oak barrels, it offers stunning aromatics: blueberry and blackberry preserves are accented by garrigue, wildflowers and meaty tones, with pure wafts of mint chocolate. The palate has a bursting sensation from its fresh acidity and chocolaty tannins, driving you to take another sip. It's everything it promised from barrel, and it can be expected to gain complexity in bottle over the next 20+ years. (EB) 98+" (03/2022)
Starting Bid: $295.00

Bid on this bottle of 2019 Continuum Oakville Bordeaux Blend (100JGD, 100TWI, 99JS, 98RP, 97VN, 95WE, 95WS). The Wine Independent: "The 2019 Continuum has the highest percentage to date of Cabernet Franc. It is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Cabernet Franc, 7% Petit Verdot, and 6% Merlot, with all the fruit estate grown from Sage Mountain Vineyard on Pritchard Hill and it has a deep garnet-purple color. The nose is closed to begin and needs patience to coax out beautifully pure notes of warm cassis, wild blueberries, chocolate-covered cherries, violets, and iron ore, plus wafts of cinnamon toast, clove oil, and crushed rocks. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is firm, with super-ripe, grainy tannins and fantastic tension framing energetic, tightly knit layers, finishing on a long-lingering ferrous note, plus a spray of rose water and candied violets. Simply stunning! (LPB)" (06/2023)
Starting Bid: $250.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2022 Kistler "Laguna Ridge Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (96JD, 96VN, 95JS, 95RP, 95TWI). Vinous: "The 2022 Pinot Noir Laguna Ridge is dark, pliant and super-expressive right out of the gate. At the same time, it is also quite closed structurally, which I take as a positive sign for its future development. Black cherry, lavender, sage, mint and dried flowers build beautifully in the glass. There's gorgeous textural depth and intensity here. (AG)" (01/2024)
Current Bid: $215.00

Bid on this 8-bottle lot of 2007 Bodegas Fontana "Uclés Misterio de Fontana Roble" Uclés-Spain.
Starting Bid: $70.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Vine Hill Ranch "VHR Extended Barrel Age" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (98VN). Vinous: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Extended Age is the same wine as the straight VHR, but all those qualities are dialed up because of extended time in barrel. There is more mid-palate richness, sweetness and body, but at the same time less of the classicism of Vine Hill Ranch. In 2018, the two Cabernets are not that different. Although it is hard to say for a new wine, that may be a reflection of the very even growing season. The 2019s, on the other hand, are more differentiated. It is fascinating to taste this other expression of Vine Hill Ranch. (AG)" (02/2022)
Starting Bid: $295.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2021 Sine Qua Non "Distenta III" Central Coast White Blend (94VN, 93RP). Vinous: "The 2021 White Wine Distenta III is a wild, exotic white. Ginger, passion fruit, spice and lemon confit are all woven together in the glass. Extended lees-stirring of 8-12 months really builds texture. The 2021 is rich and creamy but not at all heavy. Intensely perfumed overtones extend the finish. The Distenta III is a gorgeous wine in every way. The blend is 33% Chardonnay, 27% Viognier, 24% Gelber Muskateller, 12% Roussanne and 4% Petit Manseng. This is the first vintage with a high percentage of Muscat, an approach that is so successful here. (AG)" (07/2024)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 12-half-bottle lot of 2009 Lange Reserve Willamette Valley Pinot Noir (375ml).

Of the 2014 Hickinbotham "The Peake" Cabernet Sauvignon-Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia, Wine Advocate writes: "A blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon and 44% Shiraz, the Hickinbotham 2014 The Peake Cabernet Shiraz has a deep garnet-purple color and very spicy with warm red and black fruit preserves, mocha, vanilla and yeast extract, with a touch of lavender. This blend is firm, rich, full-bodied and concentrated in its very spicy, fruity profile. It also has a long finish. (LPB) 95+" (06/2016)
Current Bid: $195.00

Of the 2018 Kosta Browne "One Sixteen" Russian River Valley Chardonnay, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "All barrel fermented and brought up in just under 40% new French oak, the 2018 Chardonnay One Sixteen has a big bouquet of buttered lemons, peach, tart pineapple, spice, and toasted bread. Beautifully textured, elegant, and seamless on the palate, with both good acidity and concentration, it's another beautiful wine from this team." (05/2020)
Starting Bid: $70.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2021 Adeptos "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Napa Valley AVA, founded in 1983 atop a legacy stretching back to George C. Yount’s first commercial plantings in 1838, sprawls over nearly 43, 000 vineyard acres and hosts more than 300 wineries. After phylloxera and Prohibition nearly erased its early gains, visionaries like Robert Mondavi revived the region in the mid-20th century, crafting world-class wines that set Napa apart. Today, its Mediterranean climate nurtures 16 distinct sub-appellations—and Cabernet Sauvignon reigns supreme.
Starting Bid: $100.00

Bid on this 9-bottle lot of 2000 Signorello Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Wine Spectator: "Smooth and creamy, well-balanced, with mocha-laced currant, cedar, tobacco and plum. Finishes with mellow tannins and a dash of vanilla and mocha. (JL)" (04/2003)
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 8-bottle lot of 1988 Anderson's Conn Valley "Estate Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Wine Spectator: "An earthy, minerally style, it still has enough currant, black cherry, anise and spicy notes to balance things out. Finishes with dry, firm tannins, dashes of coffee and cedar. *Top 100 Wines of 1991, Highly Recommended* (JL)" (12/1997)
Starting Bid: $285.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2016 Ridge Vineyards "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay (95JD, 94JS, 93VN, 92WS, 91RP), 1-bottle of 2017 Ridge Vineyards "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay (94JD, 94VN, 93JS, 92RP, 92WS), and 1-bottle of 2018 Ridge Vineyards "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay (95JD, 94CG, 94VN, 91RP, 90WS). Of the 2016 Ridge Vineyards "Estate" Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "Starting with the 2016 Chardonnay Estate, this fabulous wine is up with the crème de la crème of the vintage and isn’t far off the more expensive Monte Bello release. Loaded with stone fruit and white flower nuances as well as some reductive qualities, it hits the palate with medium-bodied richness, beautiful purity, and high yet integrated acidity. It’s a brilliant effort and worth a case purchase as it should age for 15-20 years." (02/2019)
Current Bid: $128.00

Bid on this 7-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 1984 Mayacamas Late Harvest Zinfandel, 1-bottle of 1998 Jordan Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon, 2-bottles of 2004 Quixote "Stags' Leap Ranch" Napa Valley Petite Sirah (90WS), 2-bottles of 2008 Frank Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP, 90VN, 90WE, 90WS), and 1-bottle of 2010 Benessere "Black Glass Estate Vineyard" Napa Valley Zinfandel. Of the 2008 Frank Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Advocate writes: "The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon is terrific. There is plenty of varietal character and sheer personality in this beautifully delineated Cabernet Sauvignon. Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2017 G.D. Vajra Albe Barolo (1.5L) (93RP, 92JS, 92WS, 91VN). Wine Advocate: This is one of the most accessible and trustworthy wines you can buy from Piedmont. Keeping in line with past vintages, the G.D. Vajra 2017 Barolo Albe opens to medium concentration and a very expressive or fruit-forward bouquet. This hot-climate 2017 edition shows a little more ripeness and roundness as is to be expected, but these results are a safe bet nonetheless. Cherry and raspberry aromas are followed by blue flower and pressed violets. Set this bottle aside for medium or long-term drinking. Production is an ample 40, 000 bottles (ML) (06/2021)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2020 Margaux, Margaux (OWC - 100JA, 100JS, 99DC, 99TWI, 98CK, 98VN, 98WE, 97JD, 97RP) in original wood. James Suckling: "Gorgeous aromas of dark plums and violets. Orange peel, too. Some crushed stone. Bark. Stems. Iron shavings. Full-bodied, but very tight and compacted. The tannins are all here making it very structured, yet they are polished and melted together. Needs years to show all of its greatness. Incredible polish and structure. " (03/2023)
Current Bid: $1,425.00

Bid on this magnum of 2009 Louis Roederer "Cristal" Brut Champagne (1.5L) (97DC, 97JD, 97JS, 97WE, 96JG, 96VN, 96W&S, 95RP, 95WS). Wine Enthusiast: "The latest incarnation of this famous Champagne now comes from Roderer's own vineyards, a good portion of which are run on biodynamic lines. This still-young wine has great depth and richness, a beautiful balance between ripe fruit and crisp texture that make it alive, crisp and bright. As it matures, it will deepen and become even more intense. *Top 100 Cellar Selections of 2016* (RV)" (12/2016)
