Bid on this bottle of 2015 G.B. Burlotto Barolo.
Current Bid: $87.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Aubert "UV-SL Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP, 97JS, 95VN). Wine Advocate: "Giving up zingy lemon zest and grapefruit notes with layer upon layer of chalk dust, marzipan, honeyed brioche and ginger plus a touch of coriander seed, the 2015 Chardonnay UV-SL has a full-bodied powerhouse of a palate that delivers the goods and then some. Perfumed, seductive and drop-dead sexy, this is a real show-stopper of a Chardonnay with intensity and structure to age gracefully over the next 15+ years. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Current Bid: $340.00

Bid on this 3 liter of 2009 Robert Foley Napa Valley Claret (3L) (OWC - 94WS, 92ST) in original wood. Wine Spectator: "A classy, stylish wine, smooth and creamy, delivering a tasty mix of red berry, raspberry, currant and mocha, with touches of cedar, forest floor and roasted herb. Ends with fleshy, fine-grained tannins that give the flavors just enough traction. (JL)" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $375.00

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2019 Pride Mountain Napa-Sonoma Counties Merlot (1.5L) (93VN, 91RP, 90JD). Vinous: The 2019 Merlot is very pretty in this vintage. Floral and spice notes give the Merlot a striking aromatic upper register that is both distinctive and alluring. Sweet red cherry, cinnamon and rose petal all build nicely in the glass. Best of all, the Pride Merlot will drink well right out of the gate. (AG) (01/2022)
Current Bid: $154.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2011 Dana Estates "Lotus Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 94JS, 94VN, 92ST, 90WS) in original wood. Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Lotus Vineyard is a wine of pure texture. Soft, seamless and gracious, the 2011 has no hard edges and hugely attractive, layered personality. Juicy red berries, menthol, licorice, cloves and vanillin flesh out on the generous, inviting finish. Today, the Lotus is the most accessible of Dana's 2011. The 2011 Lotus was fermented in a combination of oak and cement tanks, after which it spent 20 months in oak. The average time of maceration was 43 days, very long for the year and also longer than the other 2011s here. Drink through 2026. (AG)" (11/2013)
Current Bid: $781.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Kapcsandy "Roberta’s Reserve - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95VN, 91RP). Vinous: "The 2011 Roberta's Reserve is just beginning to enter its first plateau of maturity. It, too, has aged beautifully. There is plenty of brightness to the red-fleshed fruit. Sage, mint, chocolate, blood orange and spice add layers of complexity. The 2011 is a bit light, like many wines in the vintage are, but it is well balanced and absolutely delicious. (AG)" (05/2022)
Starting Bid: $380.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98JS, 98RP, 97VN). Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet-purple colored, it rolls sensuously out of the glass with decadent scents of boysenberries, black cherries, redcurrant jelly and blackcurrant pastilles with hints of bouquet garni, black soil and iron ore. Full-bodied, the taut, tightly knit black and red fruit has a firm structure of ripe, grainy tannins and bags of freshness, finishing very long with loads of earth and mineral nuances coming through. (LPB) 98+" (10/2020)
Current Bid: $760.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Tor Kenward "Melanson Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JS, 94RP, 93WS). James Suckling: "Very solid and dense with a reserved and focused palate. Full body and beautiful tannins. Mountain-fruit character from Pritchard Hill. Like a square peg in a round hole. Tight! " (01/2017)
Starting Bid: $380.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Cakebread "Dancing Bear Ranch" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 91WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Dancing Bear Ranch, from Howell Mountain, is 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc. This is stunning Cabernet Sauvignon with floral notes intermixed with graphite, crème de cassis, blackberry, mulberry and a hint of chocolate. The wine is large-scaled, but elegant, full-bodied, rich and exceptionally well-balanced with impeccable purity and length. (RP)" (12/2016)
Current Bid: $362.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2014 Inglenook "Blancaneaux" Rutherford White Rhône Blend (90WS). Wine Spectator: "Crisp and precise, this white offers lemon-lime and green apple flavors that are juicy and vibrant, following through on the long finish. Toasted almond skin and dried honeysuckle flavors add complexity. (MW, Web-2017)"
Starting Bid: $120.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2016 L'Aventure "For Her" Paso Robles Red Blend (97JD, 96RP, 96VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2016 For Her got more than one 'Wow' in my notes and boasts a rock star nose of pure blueberry and blackberry fruits, liquid violets, crushed herbs, and ground pepper. A blend of 46% Syrah, 39% Graciano (which they originally thought was Monastrell), and 15% Viognier, this full-bodied effort cuts a straight, focused path on the palate and has good acidity, awesome purity of fruit, and a great, great finish. (JD) 97+" (11/2018)
Starting Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2017 Linne Calodo "Rising Tides" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (96VN, 93JD, 92WS), 1-bottle of 2019 Linne Calodo "Rising Tides" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97JD, 97VN, 94RP), and 2-bottles of 2020 Linne Calodo "Rising Tides" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (95RP, 94VN, 94WE). Of the 2019 Linne Calodo "Rising Tides" Paso Robles Rhône Blend, Vinous writes: "Saturated ruby. Intensely perfumed aromas of red and dark berry preserves, licorice, cola and exotic spices are complemented by a strong floral overtone. Sappy, finely detailed Chambord, cassis and blueberry flavors utterly stain the palate and turn spicier with air. Finishes smooth, lively and exceptionally long, with resonating florality and polished tannins that add subtle closing grip. (JR)" (11/2021)
Current Bid: $183.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2010 Williams Selyem "Flax Vineyard" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (93VN, 93WE). Vinous: "Deep ruby. Heady, exotically perfumed bouquet combines raspberry compote, Asian spices, violet and a touch of incense. Fleshy and broad on entry, then tighter in the middle, offering lively black raspberry and cherry-cola flavors along with notes of candied rose and star anise. Shows excellent heft and energy on the finish, which clings with impressive spiciness and tenacity. (ST)" (05/2012)
Starting Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Araujo "Altagracia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 92ST). Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Altagracia is surprisingly huge in this vintage. Layers of exotic black fruit, spices, mocha and espresso burst onto the palate with striking depth, power and richness. There is an immediacy to the 2010 that is simply compelling. No longer a true second wine, Altagracia now also includes a small amount of purchased fruit and is being crafted to stand on its own. The 2010 achieves that, and so much more. It is a fabulous effort from the team at Araujo. (AG)" (12/2012)
Current Bid: $163.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2004 Mendelson "Sleepy Hollow Vineyard" Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir. Mendelson Winery is a small, artisan winery located in Napa, renowned for its hand-crafted wines. The winery carefully sources its grapes from select California vineyards in Napa Valley, Mendocino County, and Monterey County.
Starting Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 98RP, 97IWR, 96ST, 96WS, (93-95JG), 95VN, 95WE, 94DC). Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Monte Bello , 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot is simply magnificent. Layers of dark red fruit, flowers, spices and graphite are all woven together in this utterly impeccable wine. The 2009 is an especially huge, intense Monte Bello, yet a sexy, silky core of fruit lies within its imposing frame. Everything comes together in this glorious, radiant wine. Last year the 2009 had some pretty stiff competition from the 2010, but today it is simply firing on all cylinders. Eric Baugher describes 2009 as a year with cold weather early on, followed by heat in early June and July. (AG)" (08/2012)
Current Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Diamond Creek "Gravelly Meadow" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97W&S, 94VN, 94WE, 93JS, 93WS, 92RP, 91CG). Wine & Spirits: "One of the most riveting vintages of Gravelly Meadow we’ve tasted on release, this grows on an ancient alluvial wash of river stones where the vines date to 1968 and consistently produce the lowest crop of Diamond Creek’s three main vineyards. In 2010, the yield on this vineyard was down more than 25 percent, due to culling fruit after the west-facing bunches were burned in the heat wave. Phil Steinschriber delayed harvest until October 22nd, when the threat of rain forced his hand. In the end, Gravelly Meadow produced his most aromatically beautiful wine. It smells like the manzanita groves on the hillside above Gravelly Meadow; that, plus racy red and black fruit, lean forest-berry flavors that layer with a cool soil character in the tannins as the scent draws you in to the taste. " (12/2013)
Current Bid: $525.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Peter Michael "Au Paradis" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (98JD, 98JS, 96VN, 96WS, 95JA, 95RP). James Suckling: "Gorgeous aromas of currants, blackberries, sweet tobacco and violets follow through to a full body with round, finely chewy tannins and a gorgeous finish of fruit, iodine and graphite. But always pretty fruit there. " (01/2021)
Current Bid: $400.00

Bid on this bottle of 2009 DRC Domaine de la Romanée-Conti La Tâche Grand Cru (98BH, 98RP, 98VN, 97WS, 96ST). Vinous: "The 2009 La Tâche Grand Cru is the most ethereal of the three wines in this flight. Whole cluster influence is especially marked here. A whole range of spice, dried flower, mint and savory overtones infuse the 2009 with layers of nuance. Next to the other wines in this flight, La Tâche is ethereal and harder to fully capture with words, an attribute many, if not most, of the world’s greatest wines share. (AG)" (11/2019)
Current Bid: $4,911.00

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Morlet "Joli Coeur" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (98JD, 97RP, 95VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "From thinner, shale, east-facing slopes, 2017 Pinot Noir Joli Coeur is wonderfully complete and balanced, with complexity, elegance, and power all present in this thrilling bottle of wine. Black raspberries, graphite, sandalwood, and crushed rock nuances all flow to a medium to full-bodied effort that has nothing out of place, polished tannins, and integrated acidity. This is one of those wines that builds and grows on you with time in the glass, and it’s a remarkable effort in 2017. " (06/2019)
Current Bid: $77.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2019 Aubert Russian River Valley Chardonnay. Antonio Galloni writes: "Mark Aubert's 2019s are fabulous. The wines clearly benefit from a stable growing season that saw less heat than 2018, especially towards the end of the season. The Chardonnays are now so consistent that choosing among them really comes down to a matter of personal preference. The biggest change here is that the Pinots have moved away from the inky, bombastic style of the past towards an approach that emphasizes greater freshness and energy. There is still plenty of depth to the wines, but the 2019s have a level of detail I have not seen here before. I tasted the Chardonnays from tank just prior to bottling and the Pinots in bottle. Readers will note the introduction of a new wine, the Park Avenue Chardonnay, which emerges from a 12-acre parcel adjacent to Lauren that was planted six years ago." (12/2020)
Current Bid: $185.00

Bid on this bottle of 2019 Ultramarine "Michael Mara" Blanc de Blancs Sonoma Coast Sparkling Wine. Antonio Galloni of Vinous writes: "The setting is about as unglamorous as it gets. Michael Cruse's small but functional warehouse-like winery is located in Petaluma, next to Highway 101, but not close to much else. Don't let the stripped down setting fool you. Cruse makes a wide range of incredibly distinctive wines here. The sparkling wines are especially of note. Cruse began his foray into sparkling wines with Ultramarine, a label that focuses on single-variety, single-vintage, single-site bottlings, an aesthetic that has become increasingly popular in Champagne. At Ultramarine, the wines are done with blocked malo, aged in oak with minimal SO2 and bottled with little or no dosage. ."
Current Bid: $87.00

Bid on this magnum of 2016 Next of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 10'' Central Coast Red Blend (1.5L) (100RP, 99JD, 95VN). Wine Advocate: "Next of Kyn is the label of Elaine and Manfred Krankl (owners/creators of Sine Qua Non), based on fruit from their home vineyard in Oakville, called Cumulus vineyard. This 2016 vintage is composed of 46% Syrah, 19% Grenache, 18.3% Petite Sirah, 15.3% Mourvèdre and 1.4% Petit Manseng, using 23% whole clusters. It spent around 34 months in French oak barrels, 75% new. 'The composition of this wine is coming now much closer to the original vision for this vintage and subsequently this wine, ' commented Manfred Krankl. The opaque purple-black colored 2016 Cumulus Vineyard No. 10 is a breathtaking WOW wine, from start to finish. (LPB)" (08/2020)
Current Bid: $380.00

Bid on this bottle of 2014 Vietti "Rocche di Castiglione" Barolo (98VN, 95JS, 95RP, 94WS). Vinous: "Vietti's 2014 Barolo Rocche di Castiglione is shaping up to be a modern-day classic. Piercing, intense and austere in the best sense of the word, the Rocche is a wine of laser-like focus that will leave Barolo lovers weak in the knees. Candied cherry, pomegranate, kirsch, rose petal and violet overtones give the 2014 its inner sweetness and captivating perfume. In a word: stunning. Don't miss it. (AG)" (02/2018)
Current Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Cayuse "En Cerise" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (97JD, 96JS, 96VN, 95WS, 94RP, 94WE). Jeb Dunnuck: "Lots of red and blue fruits, sappy herbs, beef blood, iron, sweet earth, and violet notes all emerge from the 2018 Syrah En Cerise Vineyard, and it's another incredibly pure, seamless wine from Baron that does everything right. Medium to full-bodied and flawlessly balanced, with silky tannins on the palate, it shows the purity and freshness of the vintage as well as a Jamet-like complexity and meatiness. (JD) 97+" (05/2021)
Current Bid: $245.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Realm "Falstaff" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97JD, 97JS, 97RP, 93VN). Wine Advocate: "Composed of 88% Cabernet Franc and 12% Merlot, the 2015 The Falstaff gives a deep garnet-purple color and compelling nose of crushed wild blueberries and blackberries plus fragrant earth and Indian spices nuances, with coaxing, lovely garrigue, dried roses, cigar box and crushed rock nuances. The palate is soft and sleek, with an elegant, medium to full body and very fine-grained tannins supporting the intense blue and black fruit flavors, layering in spice box, earth and bay leaf notions on the long finish. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Current Bid: $430.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Tor Kenward "Melanson Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JS, 96VN, 95RP, 94JD). Vinous: "The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Melanson Vineyard is one of the most complete wines in this range. Rich, deep and explosive, the Melanson captures all the pedigree that this Pritchard Hill site is capable of. In the glass, the Melanson is plush and beautifully resonant. Dark red cherry, plum, iron, mocha, licorice and spice all build as this voluptuous, racy Cabernet show off its personality. (AG)" (01/2020)
Current Bid: $292.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Bedrock Wine Company "Bedrock Vineyard - Heritage Wine" Sonoma Valley Red Blend ((93-95RP), 94VN, 93WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2014 Proprietary Red Bedrock Heritage Proprietary Red is not yet in bottle and was scheduled to be bottled a month or so after I tasted with Twain-Peterson. The wine looks killer. Twenty-four inter-planted varieties (all put in the ground between 1888 and 1895), dominated by 55% Zinfandel and 30% Carignane, have produced this Mediterranean, full-throttle, pedal-to-the-metal, dark ruby/purple wine. Loads of grilled meat, steak tartare, Provençal herbs, lavender, blackberry, cassis and sweet cherries are all present in this lovely, full-bodied, voluptuously textured, big fruit bomb from Twain-Peterson. (RP)" (10/2015)
Current Bid: $60.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Dönnhoff Felsenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs (Dry) Nahe (93RP, 92VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2017 Schlossböckelheimer Felsenberg Riesling trocken –GG– (nicknamed 'Felsentürmchen') is pure and fine on the stony, flinty and perfumed nose that is filled with ripe, yellow-skinned apples and very fine hazelnut notes and displays remarkable intensity and depth. Smoky notes. Full-bodied, fine and elegant on the nose, this is a pure, clear and quiet, very long and lovely dry Riesling with great finesse and calm. Excellent! (SR)" (10/2019)
Current Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 L'Aventure "Inspiracion" Paso Robles Red Blend (94JD, 94VN, 93RP). Vinous: "Deep lurid ruby. An explosively perfumed bouquet displays ripe, mineral-accented boysenberry, cherry, licorice pastille and incense scents, and a spicy nuance gains power with air. Stains the palate with intense red and blue fruit, spicecake and candied lavender flavors that show outstanding clarity and energetic lift. Smooth, slow-building tannins add shape and grip to the finish, which hangs on with strong, floral- and mineral-driven persistence. (JR)" (09/2018)
Current Bid: $172.00

Bid on this 7-bottle lot of 2016 Linne Calodo "Sticks & Stones" Paso Robles Rhone Blend (97JD, 95VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "One of the gems in the lineup is the 2016 Sticks and Stones, which is 74% Grenache, 19% Syrah, and 7% Mourvèdre. Seamlessness and elegance are the buzzwords here, and this beauty offers a kaleidoscope of black raspberries, blueberries, white pepper, liquid violets, and incense. Brought up in concrete tanks and foudre, it’s another seamless, incredibly layered wine from Matt Trevisan that delivers everything you could want from these magical, limestone hillsides on the westside of Paso Robles." (11/2018)
Current Bid: $301.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2021 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 98RP, 98VN, 97WS) in original wood. Jeb Dunnuck: "Moving to the Grand Vin 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, red wine simply doesn't get any better, and I never cease to be amazed at what winemaker Celia Welch accomplishes with this incredible terroir. Deep ruby/plum-hued, with a kaleidoscope-like array of cr me de cassis, jammy blackberries, spicy oak, graphite, and smoked tobacco, with a kiss of background chocolaty nuances, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a multi-dimensional, layered mouthfeel, ultra-fine tannins, and a flawlessly layered, concentrated, balanced profile that has to be tasted to be believed. Given its wealth of fruit and texture, as well as purity and balance, it already offers pleasure, yet smart money will give bottles 4-6 years in the cellar, count themselves lucky, and enjoy bottles over the following two decades." (12/2023)
Current Bid: $1,600.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2002 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (100RP, 95ST, 95WS). Wine Advocate: "I have always felt that top vintages of Marcassin Pinot Noir have a resemblance to a Ponsot Clos de la Roche from a great vintage. While some may say that's impossible, I have bought and drunk enough of Ponsot's Clos de la Roche and Marcassin's Pinot Noir to have confidence in making that observation. Moreover, the rumor from numerous top Pinot producers about the origin of the Dijon clones being Ponsot old vine material adds to my convictions. (RP)" (06/2014)
Current Bid: $648.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Gerard Boulay "La Côte" Sancerre Chavignol.

Sexy, smoke- and spice-accented aromas and flavors of black raspberry and cherry cola show impressive clarity. Vibrant and precise, with excellent back-end lift and cut. Repeats the berry and cola notes on a long, seamless penetrating finish. (JR)" (05/2013)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Rhys "Family Farm Vineyard" San Mateo County Pinot Noir (94JD, 94VN, 92JG, 92RP, 91BH). Vinous: "The 2016 Pinot Noir Family Farm Vineyard is beautifully lifted and precise. Bright red berry fruit and floral notes are nicely layered in a Pinot that speaks to understatement and class. In this range, the Family Farm stands out for its crystalline precision and nuance. All the elements are simply in the right place. The 2016 was done with 15% stems, the least Rhys has used for the Family Farm. (AG)" (08/2018)
Current Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2022 Horsepower "Sur Echalas Vineyard" Walla Walla Valley Grenache. Horsepower Vineyards blends tradition with innovation, honoring both craft and family roots. Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Diamond Creek "Red Rock Terrace" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96W&S, 95CG, 94RP, 91WS, 90VN). Wine & Spirits: "The most classical of the three Diamond Creek wines in 2004, Red Rock is also the most perfectly formed. It starts with a dark oak savor that turns to succulent cherry and deepens to black currant. Its freshness feels as cool as the shade on a sunny Diamond Mountain afternoon. Firm tannins support the fruit, and it's the fruit that lasts, set to go the distance. A great vintage of Red Rock, this has decades of development ahead. " (12/2007)
Current Bid: $437.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Larkmead "Dr. Olmo" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JS, 96IWR, 95JD, 95RP, 95WE, 94VN, 94WS). It has a great, plush texture, with velvety tannins, evenly balanced acidity, and a weightless feel that's harmonious and seamless throughout. It's ripe but never heavy and has incredible length as well as a wonderfully earth-noted finish and tremendous aging potential. It promises a lot of hedonistic enjoyment. Drink 2026-2046. (Drink between 2026-2046) (AF)" (06/2024)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2020 Aubert Russian River Valley Chardonnay . Robert Parker writes in Wine Advocate: "Mark Aubert continues to set the bar incredibly high for the world-class quality of his Burgundian-styled, remarkable Chardonnays, which come from relatively cool sites spread from Rutherford in Napa Valley to the far reaches of the Sonoma Coast." (10/2016) From the producer, "Our winemaking process is carefully guided by a winemaker with a farmer’s heart and artisan’s soul. The essence of making great wine is rooted in a relationship with the land – it’s about the soil, about growing, about nurturing, about farming. We look to nature for guidance and to science for insight, as we craft wine with minimal intervention so a sense of place is elegantly reflected in every bottle of Aubert wine. We believe the intellectual pursuit of winemaking has to be of the highest, most profound level of quality."
Current Bid: $140.00

Bid on this bottle of 2020 Alban "Reva - Estate Vineyard" Edna Valley Syrah (98DC, 97JD, 94RP). Decanter: "Unabashedly powerful yet visceral and alluring, John Alban's Syrah is a benchmark expression of the sun-drenched intensity of the maritime Edna Valley in San Luis Obispo. Smoky, spicy swirls of raspberry preserve, leather and sweet tobacco meld into a palate that's profoundly ripe yet lively and fresh, struck by layers of dusty graphite, ore and iodine. Breathtaking in youth but certain to develop further complexity. (ALI)" (02/2024)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (97VN, 95RP, 94JS, 94WS). Vinous: "Bright and energetic, with soaring aromatics, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Les Pavots is utterly captivating from the first taste. A rush of blackberry, crushed rocks, graphite, rose petal, mint, lavender and blue/purplish fruit builds in the glass. All the pedigree of Knights Valley is on display. The 2017 is 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc, 14% Merlot and 7% Petit Verdot. It spent 18 months in Taransaud and Darnajou barrels. The team opted to bulk out 40% of the wine, so production is down sharply. The wine that was bottled, well, it's pretty special. (AG)" (04/2020)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2010 Domaine Louis Jadot Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru "La Dominode" ((89-92BH), 92JG, (89-91VN), 90RP). Burghound: "While there is visible wood treatment it is much more discreet and already well-integrated into the complex and enticing plum, cassis and pungently earthy nose. This is also quite seductively textured as there is abundant tannin-buffering sap that imparts a suave mouth feel to the cool, pure and well-balanced finish that tightens up considerably to suggest that this will need at least a decade of cellar time to realize its full potential. Drink 2020+." (04/2012)

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Sine Qua Non "Eleven Confessions Vineyard" Central Coast Syrah (100JD, 100RP, 100TWI, 98VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Syrah Eleven Confessions Vineyard is slow to unfold but stunning once it opens, featuring layered aromas of cassis, coffee beans, garrigue and cracked pepper before segueing to soaring floral perfume. A blend of 82% Syrah, 10.6% Grenache, 5.3% Petite Sirah and 2.1% Viognier, it's made entirely of estate fruit. It was fermented with 28% whole clusters and matured about 38 months in 50% new French oak. It has an opaque ruby-purple in color, and the palate is full-bodied, powerful and seamless, boasting powdery tannins and integrated acidity. It has a concentrated core of floral fruit and a tremendously long finish. It was bottled on December 15, 2021, and tasted May 24, 2022. 978 cases and 276 magnums will be released in the fall of 2022. (EB)" (05/2022)

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Giuseppe Rinaldi "Brunate Le Coste" Barolo (94ST, 92RP). Int'l Wine Cellar: "Sexy, expressive nose offers plum, redcurrant, mocha, coffee, spices and underbrush. Wonderfully silky and sweet but gripping, with the impression of decadence shown by Rinaldi's wines in ripe years. This has more mid-palate richness to support its big, building tannins than the San Lorenzo-Ravera bottling. Finishes with lovely energy and impressive length. A great success in the context of the year. (ST) 94+" (11/2009)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2020 Kühling-Gillot Niersteiner Hipping Großes Gewächs Riesling (95JS, 93RP). James Suckling: "I love the enveloping stone-fruit and yellow-grapefruit aromas of this youthful GG, which are accompanied by a hint of smoky funk (reduction), resulting from the long sur-lie maturation. At once very juicy and every bit as elegant, this concentrated beauty is waving at you to join it. Such a long, silky finish that feels so airy. From organically grown grapes. " (09/2021)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Petits Monts" ((90-92BH)). Burghound: "An ultra-spicy nose is comprised by essence of plum liqueur, violet, lavender and once again moderate wood influence. There is excellent richness to the velvet-textured and mineral-driven medium-bodied flavors that coat the mouth with sappy dry extract on the tautly muscular and notably powerful finish. Petits Monts can alternate between a wine of refinement and finesse, or be like a mini Richebourg; in 2015 this is like a smaller version of the domaine's Richebourg. (Drink starting 2025)" (01/2017)
