Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2017 Tor Kenward Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP, 91VN). Wine Advocate: "This is the first time TOR has made a barrel selection from their Oakville vineyards, predominantly Tierra Roja in Oakville East. It is composed of barrels selected to reveal the "red-fruited, softer, juicier side of the Tierra Roja vineyard". Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with open-knit notes of warm red and black plums, kirsch and cassis with wafts of bay leaves, tar, underbrush and tilled soil. Medium-bodied, the palate has bold freshness and a firm frame of chewy tannins with a core of evocative, crunchy red and black fruits, finishing long and earthy. (LPB) 92+" (10/2019)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3 liter of 1977 Clos du Val "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (3L). Founded in 1972 by John Goelet and French winemaker Bernard Portet, Clos du Val quickly earned global acclaim when its debut Cabernet Sauvignon competed in the legendary 1976 Judgment of Paris. Located in the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley, the winery was established with a vision to craft Bordeaux-style wines in California’s cooler microclimates. Portet selected the site for its evening temperature drops, ideal for preserving freshness and balance. Today, Clos du Val remains family-owned, farming estate vineyards in both Stags Leap and Yountville.
Current Bid: $500.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Pol Roger Vintage Brut Champagne (95JD, 95JS, 95WE, 94RP). Wine Enthusiast: "From a fine vintage for Champagne, particularly the Pinot Noir favored by this producer, this wine is still young, while suggesting great maturity and further aging to come. It is a great, balanced wine, with an edge of minerality. Drink now, but also age for many years. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (04/2024)
Current Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Blankiet "Rive Droite - Paradise Hills Vineyard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99RP). Wine Advocate: "Blankiet again hit a home run with his 2013 Rive Droite, which is 92% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc. There are only 300 cases of this, but it is another Petrus lookalike in Napa Valley (which is interesting, given that the next door vineyard is the Moueix-owned Dominus). Offering deep, dense, chocolaty notes with mocha, toffee, black cherry liqueur and even darker berry fruit, this is a wine of phenomenal intensity, with multi-dimensional mouthfeel and a finish of close to a minute. It is as close to perfection as a wine can get, and may eventually hit that three-digit score with another 1-2 years of bottle age. If you can find it, don’t miss it! (RP)" (12/2015)
Current Bid: $314.00

Bid on this 2-half-bottle lot of 2009 Troplong Mondot, St-Émilion (375ml) (100JD, 99TWI, 97WE, 96JS, 96RP). Jeb Dunnuck: Pure perfection in a glass, the incredible 2009 Troplong Mondot offers off the chart notes of blackcurrants, licorice, truffles and saddle leather that just soar from the glass. This is a big, ripe, incredibly sexy wine that hits the palate with a huge texture, building, ripe tannin, no weight, and a finish that just won't quit. Utterly brilliant stuff, it's slightly more approachable than the 2005, but both of these vintages play in the same style. Bravo! (11/2017)
Current Bid: $207.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Léoville-Las Cases, St-Julien (99JS, 99TWI, 98JA, 98JD, 98RP, 98WE, 98WS, 97DC, 97VN, 95ST). James Suckling: "Let yourself go and sink into this deep dark chasm that will swallow you whole if you let it. Enormous concentration, but every bit as much finesse, the finish extremely long and fine. And this is just beginning to give its best!" (02/2019)
Current Bid: $460.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Morlet "Morlet Estate" St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP, 98JD, 98VN). Wine Advocate: "Composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the “home” estate, very close to Colgin's Tychson Hill vineyard, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Morlet Estate has a deep garnet-purple color, striding confidently out of the glass with classic notes of cassis, baked plums, ripe blackberries and pencil lead, plush nuances of tobacco leaf, black olives, violets and bay leaves with an exotic touch of cardamom. The full-bodied palate explodes in the mouth with crunchy black and blue fruits, supported by firm, grainy tannins and bags of freshness, finishing long with loads of mineral sparks. (LPB)" (01/2021)
Current Bid: $525.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Hall "Rainin Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 98WE, 97RP, 95VN) and 1-bottle of 2014 Hall ''The Bishop'' Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Of the 2014 Hall "Rainin Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "From a site on Diamond Mountain, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Rainin Vineyard is as black and inky as it gets, yet offers profound elegance and purity. Cassis, blueberries, liquid rock, graphite, scorched earth and white flower notes all flow to a massive Cabernet Sauvignon that stays balanced, pure, silky and elegant, with building tannin. This beauty is off the charts, and unquestionably one of the greats of the vintage." (12/2017)
Current Bid: $350.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Fairchild Estate "Stones No. 1 - Perrarus Block 1" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 97VN, 95RP). Vinous: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Stones No. 1 is a total knock-out. Inky dark fruit, bittersweet chocolate, new leather, espresso, licorice and dried herbs infuse this unctuous, full-throttle Cabernet with remarkable richness. Readers should expect an unabashedly flamboyant style. The No. 1 is a clonal selection sourced from Fairchild's Paramus Vineyard (formerly Montagna) on Pritchard Hill. (AG)" (01/2021)
Current Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (100JS, 98IWR, 98JD, 98VN, 96DC, 95RP, 94CG, 94W&S, 94WE). James Suckling: "The breathtaking nose of blackcurrants, forest berries, cedar and wet earth pulls you into this extremely concentrated but very elegant and precise masterpiece. The super-fine tannins are wrapped in perfectly ripe fruit right through the spectacular finish, with its notes of crushed stone and bitter chocolate. A cuvee of 77% cabernet sauvignon, 11% merlot, 7% petit verdot and 5% cabernet franc. " (12/2022)
Current Bid: $481.10

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Bergström "Croft Vineyard" Willamette Valley Pinot Noir (93RP, 92VN, 91WS). Wine Advocate: "Pale to medium ruby-purple in color, the 2014 Pinot Noir Croft Vineyard has a classic Pinot-with-stems nose showing a sappy note over warm red cherries, raspberry tart and violets with hints of pencil lead, dried herbs and underbrush. Medium-bodied with tons of red berry flavor and nicely tamed with some earthy/herbal notions from the stems, it is framed by chewy tannins and lively acid, finishing long. (LPB)" (08/2017)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Raymond "Generations" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
Current Bid: $175.00

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot; including 3-bottles of 2020 Penfolds "Bin 28" Shiraz South Australia (94JH, 94RP, 94WS, 93JS, 92VN) and 3-bottles of 2020 Penfolds "Bin 389" Cabernet Sauvignon-Shiraz South Australia (96JS, 96RP, 95JH, 94VN, 94WS). Of the 2020 Penfolds "Bin 389" Cabernet Sauvignon-Shiraz South Australia, Wine Advocate writes: "Looking in on the 389 can be "'can be, " she says, parenthetically) a good insight into what we can expect from the upcoming Grange. Now, they are very different wines, no question, however, stylistically they have much in common and the illumination into the season that birthed the wines in each instance. Here, the 2020 Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz has consummate polish and sleek tannins, imbued as they are with graphite, black tea, licorice and resin. The fruit is pure and black and chewy... gorgeous wine. And it lives for decades. This has always been a collector's dream and continues so through this vintage. Highly recommended. (EL)" (07/2022)
Current Bid: $177.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2018 Next Of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 12" Central Coast Red Blend (100JD, 100RP, 97VN) and 1-bottle of 2018 Next Of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Número Quatro" Central Coast Touriga Nacional (99JD, 98RP, 98VN). Of the 2018 Next Of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 12" Central Coast Red Blend, Wine Advocate writes: "Manfred Krankl notes that the 2018 Cumulus Vineyard No. 12 represents a shift away from earlier cuvées that were dominated by the Syrah grape. This iteration is composed of 47.7% Syrah, 23.4% Grenache, 21.3% Petite Sirah, 5.6% Mourvèdre and 2 % Petit Manseng. The 2018 also comes entirely from the Next of Kyn estate vineyard Cumulus. It was made using 41% whole clusters and matured around 32 months in 34% new French oak (the remaining barrels were one to three years old). (EB)" (06/2022)
Current Bid: $400.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1977 Fonseca Vintage Port (100JS, 100WS, 95JG). James Suckling: "I found a bottle of 1977 Fonseca in my cellar - probably my last. It was absolutely gorgeous. I gave this fortified wine a perfect score in its youth and I think it has finally evolved into its perfection as a mature vintage Port... This is in total balance now with such harmony. What amazing aromas of berry and flowers. Full and sweet, the tannins are complete dissolved. The fruit is perfect. This goes on for minutes. Drink now. But it will go forever." (06/2016)
Current Bid: $376.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2019 Williams Selyem "Saitone Estate Vineyard" Russian River Valley Carignan (1.5L) and 1-bottle of 2021 Williams Selyem "Saitone Estate Vineyard" Russian River Valley Zinfandel (1.5L) (96JS). Of the 2021 Williams Selyem "Saitone Estate Vineyard" Russian River Valley Zinfandel (1.5L), James Suckling writes: "Very dense and framed dark fruits of black cherries, cassis and violets followed by fruit cake and bitter chocolate with black ink and a touch of saline minerality to it. Full-bodied with beautifully polished juicy tannins with bright acidity that beautifully balances out the finish. From vineyards planted in 1895. Drink or hold." (11/2023)
Starting Bid: $230.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Malescot-St-Exupéry, Margaux (98JS, 96RP, 95JA, 94DC, 94WS). James Suckling: "A wine with intense spice and berry character, with hints of sweet tobacco. It changes all the time from flowers to fruit and wet earth. Full-bodied, with super fine tannins and ripe fruit. It's long and juicy with lovely fruit. Super long and beautiful, with fine tannins that last for minutes. Tight now, but juicy and gorgeous. Best ever from here." (02/2012)
Current Bid: $155.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2010 Merry Edwards "Klopp Ranch" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (95WE, 92CG, 92VN, 90BH) and 2-bottles of 2011 Merry Edwards "Klopp Ranch" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (94WE, 91BH, 90CG). Of the 2010 Merry Edwards "Klopp Ranch" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Wine Enthusiast writes: "This vineyard has been source to some of the winery's greatest bottlings. The wine is enormously fruity, with raspberry, cherry and red-plum flavors that flood the palate. But it's no mere fruit bomb, offering the most wonderful tannin-acid structure and a dryness that keeps the wine stimulating through a long, spicy finish. Drinkable now, but also cellar worthy through 2018, at least. *Editors' Choice*" (10/2013)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2020 Allbaer "Chargement" Central Coast Syrah (94JD, 92JS). Jeb Dunnuck: " The 2020 Syrah Chargement, based on 77% Syrah and 23% Graciano, comes mostly from the Slide Hill Vineyard in the Edna Valley yet also includes grapes from Hawks Hill and Denner Vineyard. Aged in 46% new barrels, its deep purple hue is followed by a great nose of ripe blackberries, Bing cherries, chocolate, peppery herbs, and hints of iodine and iron. Rich, full-bodied, and powerful, it has a pure, focused texture, beautiful acidity, and ripe tannins, all making for a brilliant bottle of Syrah..." (09/2022)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2012 Antinori "Guado al Tasso" Bolgheri Superiore (96JS, 95RP, 95VN, 95WS). James Suckling: "Poised and focused, this is a young red that shows great complexity and style with lots of blackberry, mint, spice and rosemary aromas that follow through to a full body, chewy tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Needs two to four years to soften. Rivals Antinori's Solaia in 2012." (10/2015)
Current Bid: $220.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Brilliant Mistake "Beckstoffer Georges III" Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 96JD). Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon coming from Rutherford, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon g3 displays a deep garnet-purple color. It bursts from the glass with bombastic scents of crème de cassis, blueberry pie, Black Forest cake and mocha with hints of star anise, rose oil and woodsmoke plus a touch of lavender. Full-bodied, decadently fruited and super concentrated in the mouth, it features a lively backbone cutting through the dense black fruit layers with a velvety texture, leading to a beautiful floral lift on the long finish. 125 cases were made. (LPB)" (11/2020)
Current Bid: $362.50

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2017 Christopher Tynan Wines "Old Vines - Meleagris Gallopavo" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Meleagris Gallopavo Vineyard won’t be released until 2021, but it’s up with the crème de la crème of the vintage. Bordeaux-like notes of blackberries, currants, wild herbs, black olives, and iron flow to a full-bodied, focused, chiseled Cabernet that has nicely integrated acidity, building tannins, and a great finish. It’s tight, backward, and inward, yet packed with potential. 96+" (01/2020)
Current Bid: $290.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Tenuta dell'Ornellaia "Masseto" Toscana (100JA, 99DC, 98JS, 98VN, 97RP, 96WS). Jane Anson: "Axel Heinz turning out yet again a wine that is generous and moreish but that goes deeper, offering layers of coffee, smoked herbs, rosemary, saffron, gentle waves of powerful brambled fruits. Mouthwatering, with tension and precision. Finely spun tannin that are elastic in embracing and taming the exuberant fruits yet chewy enough on the finish to show there is plenty of ageing ability ahead. Makes a big impression and yet has that Italian ability to be gulpable at the same time. A more elegant, moreish version of Merlot than you get in the biggest Pomerols, but every bit as beautiful. 11ha." (07/2021)
Current Bid: $685.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2005 Taittinger "Comtes de Champagne" Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne (95DC, 95JD, 95JG, 95WE, 94ST, 94WS, 93VN, 93W&S, 92RP). Wine Enthusiast: "With just a touch of bottle age giving a toasty character, this impressive wine is already showing some maturity. That said, the apple and citrus character, the mineral tight texture and crisp acidity promise some aging. The wine conveys a sense of elegance, intensity and richness. Drink now, but the wine will also age. (RV)" (06/2014)
Current Bid: $420.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Continuum Oakville Bordeaux Blend (100JS, 98VN, 97DC, 97TWI, 96RP, 96WE). James Suckling: "This is sensational with blackberries, blueberries and mineral. Extremely floral, too. Full-bodied but so seamless and refined with polished tannins that just melts into the wine. Goes on for minutes. A subtle and glorious wine that will be a new classic for Napa Valley. An emotional red that touches your soul. Energy. " (05/2017)
Current Bid: $385.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona "Pianrosso" Brunello di Montalcino (98WE, 95RP, 94DC, 94JS, 93VN, 92WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Wild-berry, fragrant purple-flower and crushed aromatic herb aromas mingle with whiffs of tilled earth and new leather on this dazzling red. The stunning, savory palate boasts remarkable finesse combined with an age-worthy structure, offering succulent black cherry, raspberry compote, licorice and tobacco alongside taut, refined tannins. It's impeccably balanced, with bright acidity. It's already tempting, but hold for even more complexity. *Top 100 Cellar Selections 2019* (KO)" (06/2019)
Current Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Favia Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96VN, 95JS, 92RP). Vinous: "Rich, ample and voluptuous, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville is even better today than it was a year ago. This is an especially flamboyant, opulent style, yet all the elements fall into place effortlessly. Today, the 2015 is a total knock-out. (AG)" (12/2016)
Current Bid: $340.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2020 La Pelle "Bien Nacido - Block 8" Santa Maria Valley Syrah. For those who might not know Koschitzky, he's Philippe Melka's partner and director of winemaking at Atelier Melka, with a few private clients of his own. Israeli by birth, Koschitzky has been making wine in Napa Valley since 2011." (01/2024)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Donelan "Judge Vineyard" Bennett Valley Syrah (95RP, 94JD, 94VN, 94WE). Wine Advocate: "This is a new wine for Donelan. Made using about 60% whole cluster, the 2016 Syrah Judge Vineyard has a medium to deep ruby-purple color and wonderful spicy nose with pure scents of fried herbs, crushed granite, rosemary roasted lamb, warm blackberries, dried violets, blueberries, baker’s chocolate and olive—wonderful pure layers of fruit, savory notions and earth. Medium to full-bodied, it’s packed full of ripe fruits and savory/spicy notions—so concentrated and dense but refreshed by juicy acidity—with a firm frame of fine, grainy tannins and a very long, flavorful finish. (EB) 95+" (04/2019)
Current Bid: $129.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Dal Forno Romano Valpolicella Superiore (95JS, 95RP, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Valpolicella Superiore Monte Lodoletta is more precise and focused compared to the 2011 edition that I tasted at the estate at the same time. This was not an easy vintage in Valpolicella compared to other parts of Italy that enjoyed a classic growing season. Instead, this Northern corner of Italy suffered from heavy rains and some hail damage. Overall yields were lower as a result. But the wine sings in terms of its brightness and aromatic intensity today. The expressive bouquet covers all the bases from black fruit to spice to drying mineral or flint. All of these elements conspire to bring robust flavors together with smooth and seamless transitions. (ML)" (05/2017)
Current Bid: $175.20

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Sine Qua Non "Trouver L'Arène" California Syrah (100JD, 100RP, 97VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Syrah Trouver L’Arene was made using 34% whole cluster and has a deep purple-black color with intense cassis, black plums and black cherries scents plus hints of anise, violets, sage and tar, with wafts of savory/smoked meat suggestions. Full-bodied, this voluptuous beauty is seriously singing in the mouth, belting out vibrant red and black fruit flavor layers, all framed by very fine, rounded, ripe tannins and a wonderful freshness, finishing with persistent perfumed fruit and a spring in its step. (LPB)" (09/2017)
Current Bid: $655.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Myriad "Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard - Elysian" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 96RP, 94JS). Jeb Dunnuck: "Unquestionably the largest scaled and most concentrated in the lineup, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Elysian is a deep, unctuous, yet incredibly elegant beauty that does everything right. Its inky purple color is followed by heavenly notes of crème de cassis, blueberry liqueur, burning embers and dark chocolate. It picks up a floral edge with time in the glass, has sensational depth and richness, and a seamless finish, all while playing in the more forward style of the vintage. Drink it anytime over the coming two decades or more. " (07/2017)
Current Bid: $311.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Morlet "Coeur de Vallée" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96DC, 96JD, 94RP, 92VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Lots of smoky black fruits, graphite, and mineral notes emerge from the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Coeur De Valle, which comes from a mix of To Kalon and the Coeur de Vallee Vineyard and is 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc. It shows the more plush style of To Kalon and is one of the more approachable Cabernets in the lineup, offering full-bodied richness, beautiful mid-palate depth, and a plush, sexy mouthfeel. It still has enough underlying tannins to warrant a few years of bottle age, but it’s going to drink beautifully for a solid two decades." (08/2020)
Current Bid: $305.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Maybach "Amoenus" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (99JD, 94RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "First made in 2009 (the first vintage of Maybach was in 2004), the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Amoenus offers an incredible, full-bodied, pure, seamless style, and I suspect this is the finest vintage of this cuvée ever made. Gorgeous red and black fruits, toasted spice, brioche, violets, and flowers are just some of the nuances here, and it's one of those wines that brings massive richness and depth while staying pure, seamless, and as graceful as they come. Don't miss it!" (12/2021)
Current Bid: $366.01

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Odette Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (96JD, 96RP, 95WE, 95WS, 92VN). Wine Advocate: "Very deep purple-black colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate bursts forth from the glass with opulent crème de cassis, baked cherries and mocha notes with touches of charcuterie, licorice, sandalwood and forest floor. Big, rich and full-on sexy in the mouth, it delivers loads of black fruit preserves, exotic spice and savory layers. Framed by soft, very fine-grained tannins, it finishes with lingering anise and chocolate-covered cherries notions. Yum! (LPB)" (10/2017)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac (98CK, 98DC, 98JD, 98WE, 98WS, 97JS, 97VN, 96TWI). Wine Enthusiast: "This famous estate at the southern end of Pauillac has produced a powerful wine. Packed blackberry fruits, laced with acidity, are just starting out on a long journey along with the tannins. The wine’s elegance is beautifully preserved within the structure. With considerable potential, the wine should not be drunk before 2027. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (05/2021)
Current Bid: $298.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (100VN, 98IWR, 97JD, 96RP, 96W&S, 96WS, 95DC, 95JS). Vinous: "The 2016 Monte Bello is a masterful expression of this lauded site in the Santa Cruz Mountains. It’s powerful, broad and infinitely layered, but it also possesses an incredibly finessed tannin structure that speaks clearly and forcefully but yields dutifully. Saturated blueberry, gravel, eucalyptus, charcoal, cedar and India ink build gradually and steadily through the long and sizzling finish. Just beginning to soften and develop beyond the primary stage, it wouldn’t be a crime to open a bottle now, but this has many, many lives left to live and should be even better (if you can fathom) in a few more years. This is what Monte Bello is all about. (BN)" (09/2024)
Current Bid: $343.00

Bid on this magnum of 2019 Williams Selyem "Bacigalupi Vineyard" Russian River Valley Zinfandel (1.5L) (94RP, 93JS, 92WE). Wine Advocate: "The 2019 Zinfandel Bacigalupi Vineyard is complex and drinkable with its detailed, spicy flavors and medium-bodied frame. It offers scents of baked blueberries and blackberries with wafts of cured meats, apricot, peppercorn and licorice. It has a pleasantly chewy frame to support its intense red and blue fruits, and gentle bursts of fresh acidity extending the spicy finish. Made entirely of Zinfandel, it comes from vines planted in the 1920s and was matured in about 20% new Taransaud barrels. (EB)" (07/2022)
Current Bid: $115.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Patria "Avoyelles" Oakville Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 95VN, 94JD). Full-bodied and tightly wound in the mouth with firm, grainy tannins, the wine has many layers ready to spring and a mineral note on the finish. (LPB)" (10/2017)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Plumpjack "Estate" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 96VN, 96WE, 95JD). Vinous: "Plumpjack's Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is fabulous. Super-ripe red cherry, plum, lavender, spice and menthol are all beautifully knit together in this lush, voluptuous Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon. Winemaker Aaron Miller has done a tremendous job retaining a good bit of freshness here. Rich, sensual and enveloping, the 2015 is an absolutely stellar wine in this vintage. Don't miss it. This is a superb example of the year at its best. (AG)" (03/2018)
Current Bid: $265.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2016 Paolo Scavino "Carobric" Barolo (97RP, 96W&S, 95VN, 94JS, 94KO, 94WS) and 1-bottle of 2016 Paolo Scavino "Prapò" Barolo (96RP, 96VN, 95JS, 95W&S, 94KO, 94WS). Of the 2016 Paolo Scavino "Carobric" Barolo, Wine Advocate writes: "Sadly, we are seeing the last vintages of this wine that is expected to be discontinued after the 2018 vintage. The Paolo Scavino 2016 Barolo Carobric represents a historic blend of fruit from Rocche di Castiglione, Cannubi and Bric dël Fiasc. Because the lease on Cannubi was not renewed, Carobric lost one of its fundamental building blocks. Cannubi brought richness, generous flavors and textural suppleness to the final blend. If you are a fan of this wine, I suggest you stock up on this vintage that is poised to be one of the most memorable and age-worthy among this group of final releases. (ML)" (07/2020)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Purlieu "Le Pich" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Hefty, but suave and seamless. The finish lets graphite and licorice elements glide through. The structure is dense, polished and perfectly integrated, resulting in lovely length.
