Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Aubert "CIX" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (100RP, 96VN, 95WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Chardonnay CIX Estate has the most alluring, singular, beguiling nose so that it cannot fail to impress. Revealing notes of candied ginger, nutmeg, aniseed, apple pie and pear tart, it delivers a full-on bombastic, richly fruited and decadently creamy palate, beautifully contrasted by a seamless line of freshness, finishing multilayered and with epic persistence. Wow. (LPB)" (10/2017)
Current Bid: $410.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95CG, 94RP, 94WE, 92JS, 92VN). Connoisseurs Guide: "Already amazingly seductive with wonderfully rich aromas of sweet oak, cocoa and fully expressed fruit making a first-rate introduction, this riveting young wine in no way lets up on the palate and delivers deep, multi-faceted flavors that combine ripeness, sweet oak and very precise fruit in near-perfect proportion. *Three Stars*" (12/2009)
Current Bid: $331.18

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Giacomo Conterno "Francia" Barolo (98JS, 97VN, 95RP, 94WS). James Suckling: "A gorgeous nose of orange peel, plums and light walnuts. Some wet earth. Full to medium body with a compacted center palate. A tight ball of ripe, fine tannins. Minerals and hot stones underneath. Serious structure. No Monfortino was made so it's all here. Better in 2022." (11/2016)
Current Bid: $195.00

Bid on this bottle of 2008 Bruno Giacosa "Asili" Barbaresco (95JS, 93ST, 90WS). James Suckling: "Aromas are full of plums and lemons that follow through to a full body, with silky tannins and a fruity, bright finish. A pretty combination of ripe fruit and crisp acidity. Need two years to come together. Triumph for the vintage. Try in 2013." (09/2011)
Current Bid: $115.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Next of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 7" Central Coast Red Blend (99JD, 99VN, 97RP). Vinous: "The 2013 Next of Kyn - No. 7 Cumulus Vineyard is a real stunner. Rich, explosive and overwhelmingly beautiful, it takes hold of all the senses and never lets go. Even with all of its power and richness, the 2013 retains striking aromatic lift and energy. I would give it another few years to settle down, but it is superb today. This is an extraordinary wine by any measure. Don't miss it. In 2013, the blend is 45% Syrah, 29% Grenache, 15% Petite Sirah, 5% Mourvèdre, 4.5% Touriga Nacional and 1.5% Roussanne, done with 58% whole clusters and aged for 30 months in French oak. (AG)" (09/2017)
Current Bid: $380.00

Bid on this magnum of 2009 Malescot-St-Exupéry, Margaux (1.5L) (98JS, 96RP, 94DC, 94WS). James Suckling: "A wine, with intense spice and berry character, with hints of sweet tobacco. It changes all the time from flowers to fruit and wet earth. Full-bodied, with super fine tannins and ripe fruit. It's long and juicy with lovely fruit. Super long and beautiful, with fine tannins that last for minutes. Tight now, but juicy and gorgeous. Best ever from here." (02/2012)
Current Bid: $190.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Pavie Macquin, St-Emilion (97JA, 96WS, 94JS, 94RP, 94VN, 94WE). Jane Anson: "This is generous and yet given definition and character by the saline twist and pulse of electicity and minerality that shoots through the palate. Blackberry, cassis, soy, charcoal, crushed stone, orange peel, juicy on the finish. Higher alcohols at this point but effortlessly balanced by the fresh acidities and supple tannins. Part of the warm vintages series within this vertical. 80% new oak." (01/2022)
Current Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Smith Haut Lafitte Rouge, Pessac-Léognan (100JD, 100RP, 98DC, 97JA, 96JS, 96WS). Wine Advocate: "The finest wine ever made by proprietors Daniel and Florence Cathiard, the 2009 Smith-Haut-Lafitte exhibits an opaque blue/purple color in addition to a glorious nose of acacia flowers, licorice, charcoal, blueberries, black raspberries, lead pencil shavings and incense. This massive, extraordinarily rich, unctuously textured wine may be the most concentrated effort produced to date, although the 2000, 2005 and 2010 are nearly as prodigious. A gorgeous expression of Pessac-Leognan with sweet tannin, emerging charm and delicacy, and considerable power, depth, richness and authority, it should age effortlessly for 30-40+ years. Bravo! (RP)" (02/2012)
Current Bid: $630.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Scarecrow Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (OWC - 100JD, 100RP, 99VN, 96WS) in original wood. Wine Advocate: "Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep garnet-purple colored 2019 Scarecrow hits the ground running with bold expressions of crème de cassis, wild blueberries and chocolate-covered cherries plus hints of dried herbs, tilled soil and crushed rocks with a fragrant undercurrent of Indian spices. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is laden with layer upon layer of tightly packed mineral-sparked black fruit flavors, framed by super plush tannins and absolutely seamless freshness, finishing long, long, long. This expression of the venerable J.J. Cohn vineyard—including vines planted in 1945 by John Daniel and dry farmed—is pure magic. (LPB)" (10/2021)
Current Bid: $1,620.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2023 Kosta Browne Anderson Valley Pinot Noir.
Current Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Léoville-Barton, St-Julien (98JA, 98WE, 96DC, 96JD, 96JS, 95VN, 95WS, 94RP). Wine Enthusiast: "A major success of the vintage. The wine exhibits extreme richness of the fruit, with all its sweet blackberry flavors. It also has underlying firm structure, density and solid tannins. Bring in the acidity at the end, and this is both impressive and ready for long-term aging. *Ranked #3 Wine Enthusiast Top 100 of 2012, Cellar Selection* (RV)" (02/2012)
Current Bid: $247.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2009 Troplong Mondot, St-Émilion (100JD, 99TWI, 97WE, 96JS, 96RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Pure perfection in a glass, the incredible 2009 Troplong Mondot offers off the chart notes of blackcurrants, licorice, truffles and saddle leather that just soar from the glass. This is a big, ripe, incredibly sexy wine that hits the palate with a huge texture, building, ripe tannin, no weight, and a finish that just won't quit. Utterly brilliant stuff, it's slightly more approachable than the 2005, but both of these vintages play in the same style. Bravo!" (11/2017)
Current Bid: $586.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Brendan Stater-West "Les Chapaudaises" Saumur Blanc .

Current Bid: $270.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2020 Occidental "Occidental Station Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (98JD, 97RP, 97TWI). Jeb Dunnuck: "A deep ruby, the 2020 Pinot Noir Occidental Station Vineyard is packed with aromas of wild herbs, wild strawberry, and cigar box. Full-bodied, with ripe tannins, it exhibits a round feel with good structure and depth in its layers of bergamot, cardamom, and orange oil. This is a gorgeous wine out of the gate, and it will continue to improve and provide excellent drinking over the coming two decades. (AF)" (07/2023)
Current Bid: $174.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2021 Domaine Vacheron "Les Romains" Sancerre (93WE, 91VN). Wine Enthusiast: "Tight and youthful, this is still a textured wine. It has intense citrus as well as richer white fruits, shot through with acidity. The wine will take its time, so drink from 2025. (RV)" (04/2023)
Current Bid: $82.00

Bid on this bottle of 2002 Didier Dagueneau "Pur Sang" Pouilly-Fumé (96WS). Wine Spectator: "*Highly Recommended* Great richness here, with alluring smoke and blanched almond notes enveloping a core of candied citrus peel, lanolin, macadamia nut, coconut and wet straw flavors. But it's still steely as well, with a nervy edge that adds considerable length to the finish." (08/2004)
Current Bid: $245.00

Bid on this bottle of 2010 López de Heredia "Viña Tondonia" Gran Reserva Rosado Rioja (96RP, 95JS, 94DC, 93VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Viña Tondonia Rosado Gran Reserva was hitting on all cylinders. It was produced with 60% Garnacho (they use the masculine of the name here), 30% Tempranillo and 10% white Viura from vines averaging 91 years of age. Like all the wines, it fermented with indigenous yeasts (they have never used selected yeasts) in the 142 oak vats they have used since the beginning and then matured in old American oak barrels for four years. (LG)" (10/2020)
Current Bid: $133.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac (94WE, (90-93ST), 92DC, 92JS, 91WS). Wine Enthusiast: "Ripe and showing the typical generosity of this château, this bold, round wine is powered by rich berry and damson fruit flavors. It is juicy and perfumed, while the tannic structure and wood flavors are enveloped by the fruits. *Cellar Selection* (RV)" (03/2016)
Current Bid: $300.00

Bid on this bottle of 1961 Angelus, St-Emilion. A five-star vintage, according to esteemed critic Michael Broadbent in his book Vintage Wines, who wrote of it: "A great vintage often compared to the 1945 for the two have several things in common. First of all, nature did the pruning' frosts severely reducing the potential crop in 1945 and heavy rain washing away the pollen in 1961. Though there was persistent rain in July, there was a drought in August, followed by a very sunny September, which resulted in a harvest of small, thick-skinned, well-nourished grapes in turn producing deeply couloured, ripe but concentrated and tannic wines."
Current Bid: $440.00

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot in original wood; including 1-bottle of 2021 Fingers Crossed (Faethm) California Rosé and 5-bottles of 2021 Fingers Crossed (Faethm) California White Blend ((96-98TWI), (95-97JD), (94-96RP), (93-96VN)). Of the White Blend, The Wine Independent writes: "Prancing out of the glass with a fantastically fragrant nose of grapefruit oil, lemon curd, and lime blossoms, plus hints of lemongrass, shaved ginger, and allspice, the palate is full-bodied, rich, and seductively viscous. The subtle nuttiness to the opulent apple and baking spice flavors is offset by racy acidity, finishing yeasty. Bottled in July 2023, I suggest decanting this and keeping the decanter in the fridge for a good hour or two before serving, then taking it out for about 15-20 minutes before pouring it to ensure it’s not served too cold. (LPB)" (08/2023)
Starting Bid: $625.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Aubert "Eastside Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay (100RP, 97JD, 95VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Chardonnay Eastside is from a vineyard owned by Ulises Valdez, and planted with the Montrachet clone on the very low-yielding rootstock called riparia gloire. This wine displays terrific intensity, plenty of stony minerality, and great precision in its notes of subtle white peach, pineapple, almond paste, brioche and crème brûlée. This is a killer wine and a perfect example of 2013 Chardonnay at its best. I never thought this wine could hit this peak, but the proof is in the tasting, and the wine, which was somewhat shy and reserved after bottling, has truly come to life over the last three to four months. This five-acre vineyard sits on a west-facing hill on Eastside Road in the Russian River. (RP)" (12/2015)
Current Bid: $510.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Realm "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100JD, 98JS, 97RP, 95VN, 95WE). Jeb Dunnuck: "An incredible wine that tops out on my scale, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon comes from one of the great terroirs of the world and delivers everything you could want from a Napa Cabernet! Off-the-hook notes of blackcurrants, blueberries, black cherries, violets, plums, smoke tobacco and incense all soar from the glass. It’s a massive wine, yet stays perfectly balanced and pure on the palate, with loads of tannins, no hard edges, and a blockbuster finish. It’s undeniably about as sexy as it gets, yet stays graceful and light, with an ethereal personality. Don’t miss it." (01/2019)
Current Bid: $225.00

Bid on this magnum of 2019 Domaine de L'Arlot Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru "Clos des Forêts St. Georges" (1.5L).
Current Bid: $170.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Justin "Isosceles Reserve" Paso Robles Bordeaux Blend (94RP, 94WE, 91WS). Wine Advocate: "The star of the show, the 2010 Isosceles Reserve (90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Merlot aged 21 months in 100% new French oak) is a deep, rich and muscular effort that still has some oak and tannin to integrate. Graphite, smoked dark fruits, exotic spice and sweet oak all emerge from this brilliant effort, and it hits the palate with a full-bodied, concentrated profile that carries layers of sweet tannin, solid mid-palate depth and a great finish. The tannin quality here is exceptional, and while it has no shortage of fruit, it retains a sense of elegance and balance. (JD)" (10/2014)
Starting Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 3 liter of 2007 Paul Hobbs "Cuvée Agustina - Katherine Lindsay Estate" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (3L) (95RP, 93ST, 93WS). Wine Advocate: "Hobbs’ top cuvée which comes from the Calera and Swan clones is the 2007 Pinot Noir Cuvée Agustina Katherine Lindsay Estate. Deep ruby/plum-colored, it boasts abundant notes of black cherries, cola, and smoke in its intense, full-bodied personality as well as a layered texture, sweet, velvety tannins, and a rich, concentrated mouthfeel. This is the first Pinot Noir Cuvée Agustina made by Paul Hobbs since 2002. (RP)" (02/2010)
Current Bid: $180.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Cappellano "Otin Fiorin Piè Franco-Michet" Barolo. Previously called Dott.G.Cappellano, or Dr. Giuseppe Cappellano, the estate was founded in 1870. It gained prominence in 1889, having been featured at a Paris wine exhibition. Cappellano's Barolos now command high prices and are highly collectible, as production is extremely limited.
Current Bid: $800.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2007 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (99RP, 95WS, 94DC). Wine Advocate: "A staggering Chardonnay that’s still an infant, the light yellow/green/gold 2007 offers up notes of unbuttered popcorn, orange liqueur, lemon butter, quince and crushed rocks. It possesses terrific underlying acidity, a full-bodied mouthfeel and a youthfulness and freshness that suggest this wine has two decades of life ahead of it. This majestic Chardonnay seems more French than Californian, but again, this reflects the significance of the labor of these two overachieving, push-the-envelope visionaries. What California viticulture and high-class, minimalist winemaking can achieve is exhibited in bold fashion by this 2007. It will hit its prime in 5-7 years, and appears to be a replay of the 2002 stylistically as well as for its overall potential. (RP) 99+" (06/2012)
Starting Bid: $650.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2021 Kosta Browne Beaune 1er Cru. Kosta Browne, known for their esteemed California Pinot Noir, has expanded their winemaking expertise to France, producing wines that capture the essence of French terroir with New World precision. These wines reflect a harmonious blend of ripe fruit flavors and refined structure, showcasing the unique characteristics of French vineyards while maintaining the bold, expressive style that Kosta Browne is famous for.
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Peter Michael "Point Rouge" Knights Valley Chardonnay (99RP, 94VN). Wine Advocate: "Equally provocative and profound is the magnificent 2014 Chardonnay Point Rouge. Complex notes of tropical fruits intermixed with toast, smoked almonds, brioche and white peach are stunning in this prodigious, full-bodied, multidimensional Chardonnay. Both the 2015 and 2014 are 10- to 15-year wines, but extremely difficult to find in the marketplace. As I have mentioned in the past, readers should note the slight greenish hue to all of the Peter Michael Chardonnays, which seems to be a healthy sign of high-quality fruit and the chlorophyll from the vines. (RP)" (10/2016)
Current Bid: $675.00

Bid on this bottle of 1982 Lafite Rothschild, Pauillac (100DC, 98JA, 98RP, 97VN, 96JS). Decanter: "A demure yet confident beauty, the 1982 Lafite is in its prime and will delight anyone privy to an audience. Scents of tobacco, sandalwood and spice box waft with increasing intensity as this sits in the glass, then it floats across the palate leaving a persistent trail of stony minerals: flint and graphite along with preserved cherries are laced with sweet, smoky incense, and radiant acidity gives a perception of weightlessness while shedding light on the wine’s depths. So effortlessly and elegantly framed, and as exquisitely perfect as this is now, there is nothing to suggest it will fade any time soon. (MM)" (05/2023)
Current Bid: $1,250.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2014 Linne Calodo "Nemesis" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (94RP, 94VN), 1-bottle of 2017 Linne Calodo "Nemesis" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97JD, 96VN, 94RP), and 1-bottle of 2017 Linne Calodo "Nemesis" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (1.5L) (97JD, 96VN, 94RP). Of the 2017 Linne Calodo "Nemesis" Paso Robles Rhône Blend, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "I was able to taste three wines from Linne Calodo. Starting with the 2017 Nemesis, it's based on 77% Syrah, 12% Grenache, 7% Mourvèdre, and the rest Graciano that was aged two years in 35% new French oak. Beautiful raspberries, blackberries, toasted spices, brambly herbs, and ground pepper notes emerge from this beauty, which is full-bodied and offers no hard edges, rock star tannins, and a great finish. It's another stunning wine from this great winemaker." (09/2020)
Current Bid: $171.00

Bid on this 2-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2008 Viña Cobos "Marchiori Vineyard" Malbec Mendoza (97RP, 93WS) and 1-bottle of 2012 Viña Cobos "Marchiori Vineyard Block C2" Malbec Mendoza. Of the 2008 Viña Cobos "Marchiori Vineyard" Malbec Mendoza, Wine Advocate writes: "The Cobos label is used for the top-of-the-line offerings. The 2008 Cobos Malbec Marchiori Vineyard spent 18 months in 100% new Taransaud barrels. It is opaque purple/black with a soaring perfume of toasty oak, mineral, lavender, exotic spices, incense, licorice, dark chocolate, and black cherry. Layered, densely packed, and structured, this voluminous effort will benefit from 4-5 years of additional cellaring and offer a drinking window extending from 2015 to 2028. (JM)" (12/2010)
Current Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2020 Kistler "Durell Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Chardonnay (97RP, 97WS, 96JD, 96JS, 92VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2020 Chardonnay Durell Vineyard offers singular aromas of apple, lime peel, iodine and flint, with classy baking spices from its maturation in 38% new French oak. Aromatically dynamic, it segues from its initial spice and mineral tones to generous white peaches, clotted cream and crystalized honey. The palate explodes with flavor, its pure, concentrated fruits refreshed by tangy acidity that calls you in for another sip. Satiny, expansive and energetic, it has a very long, gently textural finish. (EB)" (07/2022)
Current Bid: $205.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2010 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Claret (96RP, 94ST, 92CG, 92WE, 91VN, 91WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2010 Claret Reserve, 56% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot aged 22 months in 40% new French oak, boasts a stunning perfume of lead pencil shavings, charcoal, incense, blackberries, cassis and forest floor aromas. This full-bodied, concentrated, multidimensional red fills the mouth and coats the palate, but never comes across as heavy or unruly. The tannins are velvety and well-integrated in this spectacular, classic Napa red. (RP)" (10/2013)
Current Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Barnett "Rattlesnake" Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (94JD, 92VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Easily the standout in the lineup, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Rattlesnake is all Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate on Spring Mountain. It has a wonderful bouquet of crème de cassis, spring flowers, lead pencil, and damp earth. This gives way to a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon that has a terrific sense of purity, nicely integrated acidity, fine tannins, and beautiful balance. It will benefit from 3-5 years of bottle age (it's far from unapproachable today) and keep for 15-20 years." (01/2020)
Current Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 Domaine La Bastide Saint Dominique Chateauneuf-du-Pape ((90-92VN)). Vinous: "Deep ruby. Highly perfumed aromas of raspberry, boysenberry, licorice and smoky herbs are complicated by a sexy potpourri flourish. Juicy, expansive and concentrated, offering spice-accented red and blue fruit flavors and a touch of floral pastilles. Fine-grained tannins build slowly on the very long, energetic finish, which leaves behind a sweet lavender pastille note. (JR)" (04/2017)
Current Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2018 Tablas Creek "Le Complice" Adelaida District Rhone Blend (94VN, 93RP), 1-bottle of 2018 Tablas Creek "Panoplie" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (97VN, 94RP, 93JD), and 2-bottles of 2018 Tablas Creek Paso Robles Tannat (92VN, 90RP). Of the 2018 Tablas Creek "Panoplie" Paso Robles Rhône Blend, Vinous writes: "Inky violet. A powerfully scented, complex bouquet displays mineral-accented boysenberry, cassis, cherry liqueur, licorice and smoky mineral aromas that expand and become spicier with air. Sweet, deeply concentrated black/blue fruit, spice-cake, smoked meat and candied lavender flavors show impressive energy given their heft. Chewy, steadily mounting tannins shape a powerful, smoke-accented finish that hangs on with suave, floral-driven tenacity. (JR)" (12/2020)
Current Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2010 Bodegas Muga "Prado Enea" Gran Reserva Rioja (99JS, 97RP, 97VN, 95JD, 94DC, 94WE, 94WS). James Suckling: "The wonderfully silky texture with an added juiciness is what makes this wine so very special. The flawless and seamless nature to the wine is so impressive that it takes you breath away. Plenty of beautiful fruit but what mouthfeel. Drink now and forever." (01/2018)
Current Bid: $194.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Bevan "Wildfoote Vixen Block" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (97WS, 95RP, 95VN). Wine Spectator: "A remarkably seductive effort, delightfully creamy and chocolaty, plush and layered, with a firm, rich, potent core of dense, earth-laced currant and blackberry flavors. Firm cedary oak is evident, gliding along gracefully on the finish. *Highly Recommended* (JL)" (05/2015)
Current Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2000 Léoville-Las-Cases, St-Julien (100JS, 100WS, 99JD, 98DC, 98RP, 97VN). James Suckling: "A classic Las Cases with masses of mineral, floral and blueberry character. Full and chewy, with so much power. (JS)" (04/2014)
Current Bid: $929.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2017 Turley "Hayne Vineyard" Napa Valley Petite Syrah ((94-96RP), 95VN). Wine Advocate: "Fruit for this comes from vines planted in 1953. A barrel sample to be bottled in March, the 2017 Petite Syrah Hayne Vineyard has a very deep purple-black, opaque color and very perfumed nose of charcuterie, dried blue flowers and granite with a core of lush, ripe black and blue fruits. Full-bodied and huge in the mouth, it's very perfumed and has lovely dark fruit layers, framed by very firm, chewy tannins and just enough freshness to lift the long, dense finish. 625 cases are expected to be made. (EB)" (03/2019)
Current Bid: $160.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2018 Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils Beaune Grèves 1er Cru "Vigne de L'Enfant Jésus" (OWC - 94JS, 93DC, 93RP, 93WS, 92BH, 90JM) in original wood. James Suckling: "A rich, creamy-textured red with ripe-strawberry, chocolate, stone and hazelnut aromas and flavors. It’s full and layered with attractive fruit and lightly chewy yet polished tannins. Flavorful finish. Subtle, yet structured." (08/2020)
Current Bid: $540.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Luciano Sandrone "Aleste" (formerly "Cannubi Boschis") Barolo (97IWR, 97RP, 97VN, 96DC, 95JS, 94WS). Vinous: "The 2013 Barolo Aleste is a wine of striking purity and nuance. It is also one of the most finessed, vivid young Barolos I have ever tasted from Sandrone. The translucence of Nebbiolo comes through loud and clear. Freshly cut flowers, mint and finely cut fruit are some of the signatures. This wine has developed beautifully in recent vintages as the oak influence is less than it was just a few years ago. Beams of tannin and bright, salivating acidity add finesse to this translucent, exceptional Barolo. Aleste is the new name Sandrone is using for the Barolo formerly known as Cannubi Boschis. (AG) 97+" (11/2016)
Starting Bid: $510.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1992 Quinta do Infantado Vintage Port (95RP, 90WS). Wine Advocate: "There were only 1, 000 cases produced of the 1992 Vintage Port, and they are not likely to languish on retailers' shelves. A saturated, black/purple color is followed by a huge, ripe, pure nose of jammy blackberry and cassis fruit that is vaguely reminiscent of such great 1990 Hermitages as Chapoutier's Le Pavillon, Jaboulet's La Chapelle, or Chave's red label Cuvee Cathelin. Awesome concentration, massive body, an unctuous texture oozing with fruit, glycerin, and extract, and a blockbuster finish all suggest this will be a monumental port. (RP)" (02/1995)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2022 Wayfarer "Estate - Wayfarer Vineyard" Fort Ross-Seaview Chardonnay (96DC, 94JD, 94RP, 94WS). Decanter: "This is so intense and wild with Meyer lemon, Korean pear, green lemon, and lime. Piercing pineapple and focused acidity that gives incredible length and intensity. The density and texture with solid phenolics and so much flavor and vivid energy is really impressive along with the electric finish. Full body. Agile palate. Wente and Mount Eden clone. Drinkable but hold on to it!"

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2019 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (96DC, 95JS, 93VN). Decanter: "The 2019 Southing is seductive, structured, and deeply delicious. Dark, brooding ripe cherry aromas lift out of the glass with dried red florals, sagebrush, Indian spices, and spearmint. Medium-bodied with exceptional fruit density and yet, weightlessness. This is all wound-up energy and tension expressed in layers of black cherries, salted dark chocolate, crushed stone minerals, conifer, and scintillating acidity. A finish marked by cedar spices, white pepper and juniper makes for a complex and heady Pinot. (JC)" (04/2023)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2021 Sine Qua Non "Distenta III" California Syrah ((98-100RP), 100TWI, 98VN, 97JD). Wine Advocate: "I tasted the 2021 Syrah Distenta III as a precise blend from barrel on July 6—it's due to be bottled in August. It comes from three estate vineyards: The Third Twin (51%), Cumulus (26%) and 23% Eleven Confessions (23%). The Syrah is blended with 11.3% Grenache, 3.3% Mourvèdre, 2.1% Petite Sirah, 0.9% Petit Manseng and 0.7% Muscat and was vinified using 21% whole clusters. It matured around 23 months in 53% new French oak, 43% one- to three-year-old barrels and 4% concrete. Opaque ruby-purple in the glass, the Distenta III's aromatic complexity requires plenty of patience, as a singular truffle, earth and coffee bean character gives way to electric streaks of crème de violette, blueberry liqueur and peppermint patty.
