Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2017 Tor Kenward Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (92RP, 91VN). Wine Advocate: "This is the first time TOR has made a barrel selection from their Oakville vineyards, predominantly Tierra Roja in Oakville East. It is composed of barrels selected to reveal the "red-fruited, softer, juicier side of the Tierra Roja vineyard". Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with open-knit notes of warm red and black plums, kirsch and cassis with wafts of bay leaves, tar, underbrush and tilled soil. Medium-bodied, the palate has bold freshness and a firm frame of chewy tannins with a core of evocative, crunchy red and black fruits, finishing long and earthy. (LPB) 92+" (10/2019)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this 3 liter of 1977 Clos du Val "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (3L). Founded in 1972 by John Goelet and French winemaker Bernard Portet, Clos du Val quickly earned global acclaim when its debut Cabernet Sauvignon competed in the legendary 1976 Judgment of Paris. Located in the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley, the winery was established with a vision to craft Bordeaux-style wines in California’s cooler microclimates. Portet selected the site for its evening temperature drops, ideal for preserving freshness and balance. Today, Clos du Val remains family-owned, farming estate vineyards in both Stags Leap and Yountville.
Current Bid: $500.00

Bid on this magnum of 2006 Cliff Lede Vineyards "Poetry" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (94RP). 94 points Robert Parker: "Even better is the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Poetry. A 969-case blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest equal parts Merlot and Petit Verdot, this wine has sweet tannins, a big, rich kiss of blackberry and creme de cassis interwoven with subtle smoke, graphite, and loamy soil undertones. The wine has gorgeous purity, full-bodied flavors, elegance, and finesse. Like great cuisine, it offer tremendous intensity of flavor without any sense of heaviness or weight. Drink it over the next 20+ years." (12/08)
Current Bid: $261.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2006 Pol Roger "Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill" Brut Champagne (98WE, 95JS, 95RP, 95WS, 92BH, 92W&S). Wine Enthusiast: "This is the latest release of this legendary wine. A blend, although with a majority of Pinot Noir (Churchill's preference), the wine is rich, just beginning to show wonderful signs of maturity. It still has intense fruit along with the taut mineral texture that will allow the wine to age further. It is a standout Champagne from this vintage. Drink now, although this Champagne will age for many years. *Editors' Choice* (RV)" (08/2018)
Current Bid: $800.00

Bid on this 2-magnum lot of 2008 Pontet-Canet, Pauillac (1.5L) (96JD, 96RP, 95DC, 95WE, 94JS, 94ST, 92VN, 92WS). Wine Advocate: A candidate for the 'wine of the vintage, ' Pontet Canet’s 2008 boasts an opaque purple color as well as copious aromas of sweet blueberries, blackberries and black currant fruit intertwined with lead pencil shavings, subtle barbecue smoke and a hint of forest floor. Full-bodied, with fabulous richness, texture and tremendous freshness, this first-growth-like effort is more developed than the uber-powerful 2010. Give it 5-8 years of cellaring and drink it over the following three decades. Bravo! (RP) (05/2011)
Current Bid: $614.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (99JS, 98DC, 98VN, 97RP, 95JD, 95WE, 95WS). James Suckling: "This is a very powerful Monte Bello with currants and blackberry, black licorice and smoked meat. Mint. Some sesame seed, too. It's full-bodied with incredible darkness and saltiness like volcanic salt. Umami. Grilled seaweed. Flavorful and captivating. It goes on for minutes. " (09/2022)
Current Bid: $430.00

Bid on this magnum of 2006 Taittinger "Comtes de Champagne" Brut Rose Champagne (1.5L). 96 James Suckling: "A 15% addition of still red pinot to the Blanc de Blancs Comtes works well in that the DNA of the white version is familiar to those fans out there, but is delivered with a seductive twist. Aromas of wild cherries, rose water, cherries and citrus lead to a palate with fresh red cherry. Bold and rich, this will develop handy savoriness with age." (10/2017)
Current Bid: $360.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Marcassin "Marcassin Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (94JD, 94RP). Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Pinot Noir Marcassin Vineyard doesn’t have quite the drama, depth of flavor or profound depth of the 2012. This dark plum/ruby-colored wine offers displays crisp acids as well as notes of Chinese black tea and orange rind, and builds incrementally in the mouth to a medium to full-bodied finish. By Marcassin standards, it’s just a brilliant wine rather than a compellingly great one. (RP) 94+" (03/2016)
Current Bid: $600.00

Bid on this magnum of 2016 Schrader "Old Sparky" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (100JD, 100JS, 100RP). Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Old Sparky is very deep purple-black in color with a wonderfully pure nose of blackcurrant cordial, blackberry preserves and black cherry pie with nuances of dried bay leaves, dusty soil, garrigue and new leather plus touches of unsmoked cigars and pencil shavings. Full-bodied, concentrated and jam-packed with flavors, the palate is pure hedonism with a solid line of ripe tannins and great freshness, finishing very long. (LPB)" (10/2018)
Current Bid: $1,127.73

Bid on this magnum of 1997 Bryant Family Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (100RP, 98VN, 94WS). Wine Advocate: "I have consumed several bottles of the 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill. One of the most awesome young reds I have ever tasted, it possesses a black/purple color, a seamless texture, and freakishly high levels of intensity (cassis, black and blueberries infused with espresso, chocolate, and licorice) that are flawlessly presented in a full-bodied, massive yet elegant wine. Nothing is out of balance in this explosively rich, thick, highly-extracted Cabernet. A compelling, historic Cabernet Sauvignon, it will drink well for 30-35 years. (RP)" (12/2000)
Starting Bid: $1,435.00

Bid on this bottle of 2002 d'Arenberg "The Dead Arm" Shiraz McLaren Vale South Australia (94JH, 93RP, 92WS, 91VN, 91WE). James Halliday: "Clean and quite fragrant; abundant blackberry and dark chocolate fruit; controlled extract and good balance." (10/2004)
Current Bid: $40.00

Bid on this magnum of 2019 Diamond Creek "Red Rock Terrace" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (98IWR, 98JS, 97DC, 97VN, 96RP, 95TWI). James Suckling: "Very bright and aromatic with blackcurrants, lilacs and red currants. So perfumed. Full-bodied and layered with a fine-velvet tannin structure. Hints of new wood and sandalwood. Creamy texture. Such beauty. Juicy. Drink after 2025." (02/2022)
Current Bid: $275.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Inglenook "Rubicon" Rutherford Bordeaux Blend (93JS, (91-93RP)). Wine Advocate: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Rubicon shows quite a bit of depth and roundness in the year, no doubt owing to the fairly significant presence of Petit Verdot in the final blend. Dark berries, smoke, incense, licorice and tobacco flesh out in this attractive, medium-bodied wine. The 2011 Rubicon clearly has room to grow from here. This is a terrific first effort from winemaker Philippe Bascaules. The 2011 is 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Petit Verdot. (AG)" (12/2012)
Current Bid: $280.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Cakebread "Dancing Bear Ranch" Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (99RP). Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Dancing Bear Ranch, a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot from Howell Mountain, is a superstar of the vintage. Beautiful notes of graphite, mulberries, blueberries and blackberries jump from the glass of this dense purple-colored 2012. Its full-bodied opulence, luscious texture, 45+-second finish, purity, texture and uncanny integration of all the component parts are beautiful to behold. (RP)" (10/2014)
Current Bid: $450.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2018 Aubert "UV-SL Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (98RP, 97JS, (94-97VN), 94WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2018 Chardonnay UV-SL springs from the glass with wonderfully intense notes of candied orange peel, pink grapefruit and white peaches with suggestions of crème caramel and spice cake plus compelling sparks of yuzu zest and wet pebbles. The full-bodied palate is remarkably elegant with a gorgeous satiny texture and fantastic tension delivering a very long, energetic finish. (LPB)" (01/2021)
Current Bid: $210.00

Bid on this bottle of 2007 Realm "The Tempest" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (92RP, 90VN, 90WS). Wine Advocate: "The dark ruby/purple-colored 2007 The Tempest, a blend of 81% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest Petit Verdot, exhibits chocolaty espresso notes intermixed with mocha, cocoa, black cherry, and plum scents. A hint of spicy, smoky, high quality oak adds to the complexity and fleshy character of this offering. An outstanding, small, high quality winery that did not make it into my Napa report in issue #186, Realm has turned out a beautiful portfolio of 2007 reds, all of which are made at Chateau Boswell in Napa Valley. The innovative blends (all dedicated to William Shakespeare) are of very high quality. (RP)" (02/2010)
Starting Bid: $90.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 Corison "Kronos Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (98WE, 97DC, 97JS, 97VN, 96WS, 95JG, 95RP, 93JD). Wine Enthusiast: "From old vines planted nearly 50 years ago, this wine opens in violet and rose. On the palate are seamless layers of cranberry and currant, with an underlying strength of integrated spice, dried herb and oak. Complex and concentrated, this wine is elegantly built to age and evolve, beautifully styled throughout. *Cellar Selection, #3 Top 100 2022* (VB)" (04/2022)
Starting Bid: $420.00

Bid on this bottle of 2006 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (95CG, 94RP, 94WE, 92JS, 92VN). Connoisseurs Guide: "Already amazingly seductive with wonderfully rich aromas of sweet oak, cocoa and fully expressed fruit making a first-rate introduction, this riveting young wine in no way lets up on the palate and delivers deep, multi-faceted flavors that combine ripeness, sweet oak and very precise fruit in near-perfect proportion. *Three Stars*" (12/2009)
Current Bid: $165.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2019 Eisele Vineyard Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc (97JS, 96RP). James Suckling: "Very subtle aromas of green apple, pear, kumquat and light peach. Medium to full body with a really refined nature, showing similar flavors to the nose, as well as lightly toasted oak and acacia and nut undertones. Honeydew melon and lilac, too. Refined and savory. Delicious complexity. Drink or hold." (01/2021)
Current Bid: $250.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Giacamo Conterno ''Monfortino'' Barolo Riserva (99JS, 99VN, 99WS, 98RP, 97DC). Vinous: "The 2013 Barolo Riserva Monfortino is another huge, tannic wine. Crystalline and so precise, the 2013 is deceptive, as the aromatics are quite inviting, until masses of tannin hit the palate. Tar, rose petal, spice and cedar open with a bit of time in the glass, showing just enough to make the wine pleasurable today. Even so, the best is clearly yet to come. Patience will be rewarded. (AG)" (02/2021)
Current Bid: $1,850.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2008 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (95DC, 95RP, 95VN, 95W&S, 95WS, 93JS), 1-bottle of 2009 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98JS, 98RP, 97IWR, 96ST, 96WS, (93-95JG), 95VN, 95WE, 94DC), and 1-bottle of 2010 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (98WS, 97JS, 96RP, 96ST, 96W&S, 95DC, 95VN). Of the 2009 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon, Wine Advocate writes: "The 2009 Monte Bello , 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot is simply magnificent. Layers of dark red fruit, flowers, spices and graphite are all woven together in this utterly impeccable wine. (AG)" (08/2012)
Current Bid: $465.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2020 Rochioli "River Block" Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (92VN). Vinous: "The 2020 Pinot Noir River Block is another tasty wine in this range from Tom Rochioli. It offers up kirsch, succulent red cherries, blood orange, spice and dried flowers, all in a mid-weight, fruity style that is ideal for dinking over the next handful of years. (AG)" (01/2022)
Current Bid: $130.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2016 Donum "West Slope - Single Vineyard" Carneros Pinot Noir (95JD, 95WE, 93JS, 93RP, 93WS). Wine Enthusiast: "This is an energetic red that buzzes in flavors of cranberry, pomegranate and grapefruit steeped in black tea and dried herbs. The acidity is forceful and persistent, giving the wine a sense of completion and vibrancy. (VB)" (07/2019)
Current Bid: $105.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2011 Turley "Juvenile" California Zinfandel (91WS, 90VN). Wine Spectator: "Vibrant and jammed with fruit, offering black cherry and toasty vanilla aromas, with focused raspberry, sage and smoky licorice flavors. *Smart Buys* (TF)" (06/2013)
Current Bid: $40.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Clos Rougeard Saumur-Champigny (90ST). Int'l Wine Cellar: "Bright ruby. Complex nose melds blackberry, licorice, violet and wild herbs. Subtly rich and elegant, offering dark berry, bitter chocolate and cracked pepper flavors. Finishes with substantial ripe but silky tannins and delicate, lingering spicy nuances. (JBP)" (12/2014)
Current Bid: $320.00

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 1999 Duckhorn Howell Mountain Merlot (93WE, 92WS), 1-bottle of 2002 Duckhorn Howell Mountain Merlot (93W&S, 92CG, 92WE), and 2-bottles of 2003 Duckhorn Howell Mountain Merlot (94WE). Of the 2003 Duckhorn Howell Mountain Merlot, Wine Enthusiast writes: "Those notorious mountain tannins have largely melted, making the wine drinkable now, although it will hold for a decade with proper cellaring. Lush and velvety, with a drop of Cabernet Franc, this is voluptuous in cherries, black currants and fine, toasty oak." (12/2007)
Current Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2016 Giacomo Conterno "Vigna Francia" Barbera d'Alba (94RP, 94VN, 92WS). Vinous: "Conterno's 2016 Barbera d'Alba Francia is a wine of extreme finesse and nuance. It is also dark, inward and mysterious in that it is nowhere near ready to show all of its cards. In most vintages, Francia is a bit more floral and mineral, but in 2016 it is the purity of the fruit that is most striking. I imagine the typical Francia nuances will develop with a few more years in bottle. (AG)" (11/2018)
Current Bid: $180.00

Bid on this bottle of 2000 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars "Fay" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (92WS). Wine Spectator: "Well-defined currant, fresh earth, mineral and sage flavors are nicely proportioned, supported by firm, supple tannins and finishing with a long, luxurious aftertaste. (JL)" (05/2004)
Current Bid: $77.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2020 Domaine Trapet Père & Fils Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru "Petite Chapelle" (95DC, 94JG, (92-94VN), (91-93BH)). Decanter: "A bit reserved and firmly dense, with dark plummy fruit, grippy tannins and yet an elegant extraction that is sensitive and not at all overdone. Superb. From the 0.35ha parcel in Petite Chapelle with its thin, stony soils close to the mother rock which is composed of limestone called calcaire à entroques because of the fossils it contains. In contrast to the nearby Grande Chapelle, it seems very 'Gevrey'. (Drink between 2025-2050) (CC)" (05/2021)
Current Bid: $225.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2009 Domaine des Comtes Lafon Volnay 1er Cru "Santenots du Milieu" (96VN, 94JG, 93BH, 92ST). Vinous: "I was thrilled to find Lafon's 2009 Volnay Santenots on the list. One of my frustrations is that I have the opportunity to taste so many spectacular wines all over the world, but Marzia only tastes a small fraction of those wines. As soon as I saw the Lafon, I sensed it would be the prefect wine for this menu. The 2009 Santenots has always been dazzling. It was great from barrel, equally thrilling from bottle, and superb at this lunch. The French Laundry's menu isn't as easy to pair with wine as one might think. A Napa Valley Cabernet would almost certainly overpower many, if not most, of these subtle dishes, but red Burgundy from a ripe generous vintage is a great match. The 2009 Santenots was captivating from the first taste. Sensual, layered and impeccably balanced, it was flat-out stunning on its own and with the food. (AG)" (06/2013)
Current Bid: $344.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2003 Peter Michael "Les Pavots" Knights Valley Bordeaux Blend (95RP, 93ST, 93WE). Wine Advocate: "This wine has filled out very nicely. Nearly 3, 000 cases were produced of this flowery, tar, camphor, incense, blackberry, black currant, espresso and chocolate-scented beauty. A blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, a whopping 22% Cabernet Franc and the rest Merlot and Petit Verdot, this full-bodied, opulent 2003 is just entering its plateau of full maturity. It is better at age ten than it was early in life from cask and post-bottling. (RP)" (06/2013)
Current Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 3 liter of 1979 Clos du Val "Reserve" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (3L) (93DC, 91WS). Decanter: "The 1979 vintage was challenging, with a heat spike that shut down the vines and delayed the Cabernet's maturation. This bottling is pungent and hedonistic – the perfect pairing with dessert. Full-bodied, but the fruit and oak tannins are so well resolved that the wine now has a texture like cream. There’s an element of melted chocolate and prune flavours – perhaps a whisper of the valley’s previous orchards before the vines took over? Bernard Portet introduced the wine and mentioned the coolness of this pocket of the Napa Valley. He believes it allows winemakers to achieve intensity, colour, structure, great body and a long ‘rugby ball’ finish: one that enters, opens on the palate, funnels to the back of the mouth then bounces back! (CT)" (10/2021)
Current Bid: $226.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2014 Cakebread "Vine Hill Ranch" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It was serendipity that launched Cakebread Cellars. Photographer Jack Cakebread had gone to the Napa Valley to take some pictures for a book, and while he was there he "casually" mentioned owning a vineyard someday to a family friend who owned a ranch in Rutherford. A few hours later that friend called and offered to sell their property. From the winery: "Highly aromatic notes of blackberry, boysenberry, cassis and dark plum are complemented by hints of loam, mineral and dark chocolate Rich, concentrated and vibrant on the palate, the wine’s deep, intense, blackberry, boysenberry, and blackcurrant flavors are balanced by uncharacteristically mild tannins and persist throughout a long, savory finish featuring spice, mineral and dark chocolate tones. "
Current Bid: $210.00

Bid on this magnum of 2011 Diamond Creek "Volcanic Hill" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (97JS, 96RP, 94DC, 94WE). James Suckling: "Aromas of blueberries, blackberries, black currants, and flowers. Full body with beautiful, polished tannin structure that shows finesse. The finish lasts for minutes. Super balance and length. " (07/2015)
Current Bid: $271.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2023 Aubert Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Mark Aubert's winemaking style pairs art with science to beautiful effect. Robert Parker writes: "Mark Aubert had an impressive resumé long before he became this famous, mentored by Helen Turley when he was at Peter Michael, and from there spending impressive tenures at Colgin and Tom Futo’s winery before he went off bound for glory... All of Aubert’s wines tend to push about 15% natural alcohol as he is not shy about ripeness, but they also have great acids. They are aged in 100% new oak that is virtually untraceable, given the quality of the fruit and his magical élevage, which produces wines that are pure and precise... His 2014s are among the great, great successes of the vintage. " (12/2015)
Current Bid: $195.00

Bid on this 6 liter of 1986 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (6L).

Current Bid: $250.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 1990 Corison Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91WS). Wine Spectator: "Wonderful sense of balance and proportion; nothing overdone, but every piece in place. Ripe, complex, elegant currant, black cherry and olive flavors are bright and lively, with dashes of anise and cedar on the finish, where the tannins are softening. (JL)" (02/2001)
Current Bid: $300.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2012 Pride Mountain Napa-Sonoma Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (95RP, 94WE, 92JS, 92VN, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is a killer effort and a fabulous sleeper of the vintage. It is a big cuvée of 5, 500-plus cases, aged 20 months in 40% new French oak, and a final blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot and 7% Petit Verdot from both the Sonoma and Napa sides of their vineyard. Deep purple, with notes of white chocolate, créme de cassis, blackberry, crushed rock and spring flowers, the wine has great intensity and a full-bodied mouthfeel, as well as beautiful purity, ripeness and length. It can be drunk now or cellared for at least another 12-15+ years, which is very much in keeping with the style of the dramatic but great 2012s. (RP)" (10/2015)
Current Bid: $330.00

James Suckling: "A clear and transparent Asili with floral, sage, crushed-stone, mushroom and berry aromas that follow through to a full body with round tannins that are a little aggressive, but in a good way. Crunchy and fresh at the end. Citrusy undertones. Savory." (10/2022)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2018 Luigi Einaudi "Monvigliero" Barolo (95KO, 94VN, 93W&S, 93WS, 91JS). Full-bodied but weightless, the elegant palate features tart cherry, crushed strawberry and baking spice alongside velvety, fine-grained tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it balanced. " (07/2022)

Bid on this 4-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2001 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (375ml) (99RP, 98VN, 97WE, 95W&S, 95WS, 93ST), 1-bottle of 2003 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (375ml) (94RP, 92VN, 92W&S), 1-bottle of 2005 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (375ml) (97JS, 97RP, 97W&S, 95VN, 93CG, 93WE), and 1-bottle of 2007 Ridge Vineyards "Monte Bello" Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon (375ml) (95JG, 95JS, 95RP, 94VN, 94W&S). (RP)" (06/2011)
Current Bid: $391.00

Bid on this bottle of 1982 Margaux, Margaux (99JD, 98DC, 98JA, 98RP, 97JS, 96ST, 96VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 1982 Château Margaux is glorious stuff and is Margaux in all its finesse and elegance paired to some serious richness, power, and depth. Awesome blackcurrants, smoked earth, lead pencil, truffles, and hints of dried flowers all emerge from this full-bodied, remarkable, seamless effort that is loaded with fruit and texture. With a thrilling sweetness of fruit, perfect balance, and a magical sense of opulence paired with classic Bordeaux elegance, this is Haute Couture at its finest. Its fully mature, but sound bottles should easily keep for another two decades. " (03/2019)
Current Bid: $742.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Joseph Phelps "Backus Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 97JS, 96RP, 96VN, 96WS). James Suckling: "Aromas of mint, dark berries and black olives follow through to a medium to full body with lightly chewy and layered tannins that are long and focused. Lots of black-olive and conifer undertones, yet it remains subtle." (03/2021)

Of the 2021 Williams Selyem Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, James Suckling writes: "A tight and intense pinot with wet earth, oyster shell, and seaweed. Dried herbs. Medium to full body. Tight and framed. Four square. Long and structured. Excellent now but better in a couple of years." (06/2023)
Current Bid: $155.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2019 Realm "The Bard" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (99JD, 98DC, 98JS, 97RP, 96VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2019 The Bard checks in as 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, and the rest Petit Verdot, and it’s another dense, rich, powerful wine from this team that readers are going to absolutely love. Coming from throughout the valley (it’s always a great representation of the vintage), it offers up a brilliant nose of crème de cassis, ripe plums, graphite, scorched earth, and chocolate. About as seamless as they come on the palate, it’s full-bodied and has a thrilling texture, building tannins, and a gorgeous finish. It’s one of those wines where I feel like I’m overusing adjectives, but it’s warranted." (09/2021)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1984 Pichon-Lalande, Pauillac. Wine Spectator: "Shows attractive dried plum and dark chocolate aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, with full tannins that are slightly dry, but has a good concentration of fruit. (JS)" (11/1997)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2021 Domaine Jean Foillard Morgon "Côte du Py" (95JS, 93RP, 93VN, 91BH). James Suckling: "This is so lively and vibrant offering aromas of sour cherries, raspberries, dried strawberry bush, white pepper, smoked herbs and pomegranate skins. It’s medium-bodied with a delicacy and freshness to the red fruit highlighted with a clean, juicy acidity. Silky and polished. Beautiful now, but can hold too." (11/2023)
Current Bid: $205.00

Bid on this bottle of 2005 Caymus "Special Selection" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 93VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection is made in the classic Caymus style that Chuck Wagner has perfected, seemingly so easily. It’s a big, ripe Napa Cabernet Sauvignon (as it should be) coming in at 15.2% natural alcohol. This has gorgeous notes of fig, plum, blackberry, cassis, with no real oak showing through, at least at age ten. Low in acidity, opulent, sexy and fresh, it is indeed a beverage of pleasure, and Chuck Wagner certainly knows how to deliver it in spades. (RP)" (06/2015)
