Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1989 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac (99RP, 96JD, 96VN, 96WS, 95ST, 94JS). Wine Advocate: "One of the all-time great vintages for this château is the 1989 Lynch-Bages, a striking wine that offers up pure and intense aromas of cassis, pencil shavings, spring flowers and hints of cigar wrapper. Full-bodied, deep and multidimensional, it's seamless and concentrated, with a rich core of fruit, ripe tannins and a beautifully defined finish. Still an infant at age 32, it surpasses all three of Pauillac's first growths in 1989. (WK)" (02/2022)
Current Bid: $875.00

Bid on this bottle of 1976 Joseph Phelps "Insignia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (97VN, 96RP). Vinous: "Joseph Phelps's 1976 Insignia was off the charts. The 1976 was made predominantly (94%) from Eisele fruit, so this bottle provided a fascinating contrast with the other 1970s Eisele Cabernets earlier in the evening. I loved the wine's extraordinary bouquet and huge, explosive finish. It's hard to say how long the 1976 will last, but it showed no signs of fading anytime soon. The 1976 Insignia is an American icon. It was an unforgettable bottle worthy of closing this great night of food and wine. (AG)" (02/2012)
Current Bid: $421.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2020 Aubert "Lauren Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Chardonnay (98RP, 96WS, 95JS, 94VN). Wine Advocate: "The 80% new French oak is just barely noticeable in the 2020 Chardonnay Lauren Estate, revealed in the hints of pencil shavings that accent white peach and pineapple—there's tremendous fruit intensity here. Full-bodied and powerful, this blend of four heirloom selections remains exceptionally zesty, clean and fresh, with great length seamlessly allied to considerable richness. (JC)" (12/2022)
Current Bid: $240.00

Bid on this magnum of 2015 Next of Kyn (Sine Qua Non) "Cumulus Vineyard No. 9'' Central Coast Red Blend (1.5L) (99RP, 99VN, 98JD). Vinous: "The 2015 No. 9 Cumulus Vineyard is off the charts gorgeous, just as it was from barrel last year. Tasted from bottle, the 2009 is a bit closed, but all the aromatic depth, soaring intensity and energy that it showed from barrel is there. Time in the glass brings out the wine’s sensational pedigree. Dark cherry jam, mocha, grilled herbs and leather are some of the many notes that develop with time, but it is the wine’s overall structure that truly elevates into the realm of the divine. (AG)" (09/2019)
Current Bid: $325.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2015 Realm "Houyi Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97JD, 96RP, 94JS, 94WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "From a site on Pritchard Hill farmed by David Abreu, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Houyi Vineyard is another big, opulent beauty that has terrific minerality (I wrote Graves-like in my notes) as well as loads of blackcurrant, smoked earth, graphite, and chocolate aromas and flavors. With a stacked mid-palate, sweet tannin, and an expansive, opulent personality, drink it anytime over the coming two decades. One of the most thrilling tastings I was able to do for this report, these incredible wines from Realm are made by the talented Frenchman, Benoit Touquette. These are true blockbusters, magical wines I wish every reader could taste." (12/2017)
Current Bid: $417.00

Bid on this bottle of 2004 Angélus, St-Émilion (95RP, 95W&S, 94JS). Wine Advocate: "This 7, 500-case blend of 62% Merlot and 38% Cabernet Franc is one of the strongest wines of the vintage. A deep blue/purple hue is accompanied by classic aromas of smoky blueberries and blackberries as well as incense and floral notes in the background. A beautiful texture, opulence, flamboyance, and purity characterize this stunningly deep, full-bodied effort, another great success from proprietor Hubert de Bouard. " (01/2007)
Current Bid: $250.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Vietti "Ravera" Barolo (97VN, 94RP, 94W&S, 94WS, 93JS). Vinous: "Another highlight in this range, the 2014 Barolo Ravera opens with the most exquisite, captivating aromatics imaginable. It will be interesting to see if it develops a bit more midpalate depth and pliancy. Today, the 2014 is a bit austere, even within the context of the year and this site, where the wines are a bit on the nervous side to start. I have seen Vietti Raveras blossom into spectacular wines and imagine that will be the case here as well. Readers should not plan on opening a bottle anytime soon. (AG)" (02/2018)
Current Bid: $185.00

Bid on this 6-bottle tasting lot; including 2-bottles of 2021 Kosta Browne Willamette Valley Pinot Noir (92RP), 2-bottles of 2022 Kosta Browne Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, and 2-bottles of 2023 Kosta Browne Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. Of the 2021 Kosta Browne Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, Wine Advocate writes: "The 2021 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley is the inaugural release of an Oregon wine from Kosta Browne. It was fermented with 5% whole clusters and aged for 12 months in 33% new French oak. Medium ruby, it features briary fruit obscured slightly by cedary oak, opening with time to tea leaf and graphite accents. The light-bodied palate is refreshing and silky, with a deeper core of wild berry fruit and a floral finish. (EB)" (06/2023)
Starting Bid: $330.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2013 Pride Mountain Napa-Sonoma Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (94RP, 92VN, 92WE). Wine Advocate: "As for the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon (87% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot), 72% of the fruit hails from the Napa side of the vineyard, and 28% from the Sonoma side. It was aged 20 months in 40% new French oak. This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon from the top of Spring Mountain and probably their biggest cuvée at 5, 728 cases. The wine has a terrific nose of blackberry, chocolate, licorice and cassis. Some toast is in the background, but clearly, the fruit is dominant in this full-bodied, voluptuously textured and opulent, dramatic, flamboyant Cabernet Sauvignon. Unlike most 2013s, it is open and delicious and shows no signs of closing down any time soon. Drink this hefty, fleshy wine over the next 15 or more years. (RP)" (10/2016)
Current Bid: $340.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2002 Hourglass Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (93RP, 92ST, 92WS). (RP)" (06/2012)
Starting Bid: $200.00

Bid on this 7-bottle lot of 2011 Robert Foley Napa Valley Claret (91VN). Vinous: "Good dark red. Slightly medicinal aromas of blackberry, licorice, menthol and espresso. At once densely packed and juicy, showing a savory character to the flavors of dark berries, chocolate and licorice pastille. Finishes with building, oak-driven tannins and good grip. (ST)" (05/2014)
Current Bid: $360.00

Bid on this bottle of Cossart & Gordon Royal Solera Duo Centenary.
Starting Bid: $430.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2015 Kapcsándy "Rapszodia - State Lane Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Franc (98JD, 98RP, 96JS, 94VN). Wine Advocate: "Produced from 100% Cabernet Franc, the 2015 Rapszodia has a very deep garnet-purple color and nose of kirsch, cassis, blueberry tart and dark chocolate with hints of violets, pencil shavings, beef drippings and tilled soil. Medium-bodied, incredibly elegant and yet with super-intense red and black fruits, it has a firm structure of grainy tannins and great freshness, finishing long and minerally. (LPB) 98+" (12/2017)
Current Bid: $415.00

Bid on this 3 liter of 2009 Regusci "Angelo's" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (3L). Regusci Winery in the Leap District traces its roots to 1932 when Gaetano Regusci purchased the historic Occidental Winery estate. Originally a dairy and farm, the land evolved under Angelo and later Jim Regusci, who launched the winery in 1996. Today, Regusci crafts estate-grown wines—Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Zinfandel—using sustainable farming and traditional techniques.
Current Bid: $271.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2004 Cheval des Andes Bordeaux Blend Mendoza (93RP, 92WE, 91ST, 90W&S). Wine Advocate: "The 2004 Cheval des Andes is composed of 55% Malbec, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% Petit Verdot. Purple-colored, it offers a complex bouquet of pain grille, violets, pencil lead, black cherry, and black currant. This is followed by a medium to full-bodied, elegant wine with a smooth texture, intense flavors, and outstanding length. (JM)" (12/2007)
Current Bid: $115.00

Bid on this bottle of 2012 Dana Estates "Lotus Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, (94-97ST), 97VN, 95WS, 94JS). Vinous: "The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Lotus Vineyard is rich, creamy and expansive. Silky contours wrap around a core of dark red plum fruit, blood orange and spice, with a kick of French oak that lingers. The Lotus has come together very nicely. It represents a sort of middle ground between the Helms and Hershey, with more fruit and overall depth than the former, but less structure than the latter. I appreciate its mix of textural creaminess and vibrancy. I would prefer to drink the 2012 over the next decade or so. (AG)" (05/2024)
Current Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 The Vineyardist Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (93VN, 90RP). Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon bursts from the glass with exotic dark fruit, expressive aromatics and tons of balance. Pomegranate, white flowers, orange peel and ash all take shape in a super-ripe, voluptuous Cabernet endowed with tons of personality and class. Sweet floral and savory notes add lift on the finish. Once again, Mark Herold has crafted a striking Cabernet at Vineyardist. The 2011 is relatively forward and should drink well pretty much right out of the gate. Yields were just 1.5 tons per acre. (AG)" (11/2013)
Starting Bid: $140.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2021 Tor Kenward "Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (99IWR, 98DC, 98JD, 97JS, 97RP, 96VN). Int'l Wine Review: "The 2021 Beckstoffer To Kalon Cabernet Sauvignon from Tor is flat-out stunning in this vintage. It opens to incredibly captivating aromatics of ripe dark currants and blackberries that are joined by dustings of graphite, crushed gravel, violets, iron and a slight touch of mocha that all take shape as this unwinds in the glass. (JD)" (11/2023)
Current Bid: $498.00

Bid on this 3-bottle tasting lot; including 1-bottle of 2004 Colgin "Cariad" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 96WS, 95VN), 1-bottle of 2005 Colgin "Cariad" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (100RP, 97VN, 95WE, 94JS, 94WS), and 1-bottle of 2006 Colgin "Cariad" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 96JS, 94WS, 93VN). Of the 2005 Colgin "Cariad" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend, Wine Advocate writes: "The blend that Colgin fashions from three vineyards owned by David Abreu (Madrona, Thorevilos and Howell Mountain) is called Cariad. The 2005 Proprietary Red Cariad consists of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc and 9% Petit Verdot. (RP)" (06/2015)
Current Bid: $730.00

Of the 2014 Linne Calodo "Overthinker" Paso Robles Willow Creek District Rhône Blend, Jeb Dunnuck writes: "The Grenache heavy 2014 Overthinker (it includes 24% Syrah and 14% Mourvèdre, all aged 18 months in 30% new barrels) offers more black and blue fruits, cherry pit, violets and peppery spice, full-bodied richness, ultra-fine tannin and killer texture. Another wine that just begs to be drunk, this 2014 has slightly more tannic grip as well as length. It's a gorgeous wine that could come only from this limestone hills on the westside of Paso Robles. " (08/2017)

Vinous: "The 2015 Chardonnay Ritchie Vineyard is laced with the essence of lemon confit, slate, white flowers, white pepper and orchard fruit. The flavors are intense and bright, but there is no shortage of richness or intensity. In 2015, the Ritchie seems to capture all of the very best qualities of the year. It's a magical wine. Don't miss it. (AG)" (03/2017)
Current Bid: $310.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2011 Inglenook "Cask" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (91JS, 91VN, 90WE). Vinous: "The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Cask is a beautiful wine that has aged well. Still quite fresh and bright, the 2011 will drink well for at least another decade. The savory profile typical of the year is not too present, but the lithe, mid-weight structure is. Hints of lavender, sage, mint and black pepper linger nicely. (AG)" (05/2022)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2012 Barnett Vineyards "Rattlesnake Hill" Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (96RP, 94VN, 94WE, 92WS). Wine Advocate: "From a first-growth site, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Rattlesnake (essentially their Reserve offering) is made from a blend of the finest lots. This wine may turn out to be one of their all-time greats. A sensational Cabernet, it boasts an opaque purple color, plenty of the mountain blueberry and wild flower aromas, rich blackberry, blueberry and cassis fruit, terrific acidity for this degree of ripeness and power, and an amazingly textured, long mouthfeel. The finish lasts for 40+ seconds. This exquisite, brilliant Napa Cabernet Sauvignon demonstrates what exceptional elegance can be achieved allied to formidable richness and power. While I could drink it now, most observers will enjoy it after a few years of cellaring. It should provide plenty of pleasure over the next two decades. (RP)" (10/2014)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2006 Mayacamas Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon (95VN). Vinous: "The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon is shockingly young. Dark and brooding, the 2006 is a big, massively constituted wine that will thrill readers lucky enough to own it for many decades to come. Time in the glass brings out a whole range of savory and earthy notes. Wild black cherry, chocolate, licorice, spice and leather develop in the glass adding further layers of complexity. Amazingly, the 2006 still has room to grow. (AG)" (01/2020)

Of the 2018 Domaine Arlaud Morey-St-Denis 1er Cru "Les Ruchots", Jeb Dunnuck writes: "The 2018 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Les Ruchots is smoking good. Loads of spice, dried flowers, mulberries, strawberries, and forest floor notes emerge from this beauty, which is medium to full-bodied and has a wonderful mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. This rich, concentrated, nicely structured wine needs just 2-3 years of bottle age and will keep for 15+." (11/2020)

Of the 2012 Frédéric Magnien Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Lavaux St. Jacques", Int'l Wine Cellar writes: "Good bright, dark red. A distinct wildness to the aromas of raspberry, red cherry, licorice, purple rose and white pepper. Saline and tightly wound, showing hints of ripe berry fruit, but quite backward and uncompromising today, with little in the way of easy sweetness. Finishes with a firm tannic spine. All potential today. (ST)" (01/2014)
Current Bid: $165.00

Bid on this bottle of 2018 Kongsgaard Napa Valley Chardonnay ((93-95RP), 94VN). This is a total beauty and just as sensational today as it was a few months ago when tasted from barrel. Wine Enthusiast: "For sheer voluptuous pleasure, this is one of Williams Selyem’s best 2010s. It just floods the mouth with flavors of raspberry and cherry Pop-Tarts, with the most wonderful array of spices and a tender use of oak. Hard to keep from drinking it now, but it should age well over the next 8-10 years. " (03/2013)

Of the 2002 Domaine Michel Gros Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Aux Brulées", Burghound writes: "Wood toast and lovely black fruit and cassis aromas are enhanced by plenty of Vosne spice notes. This too is delicious, generous, indeed even fleshy with buried tannins and fine length though it's a bit toastier than I personally prefer. Still, this is a wine of obvious quality though the style will best please those who enjoyed higher toast burgs." (01/2005)
Current Bid: $310.00

Lovely pepper-and-spice lift to the aromas of red cherry, rose petal and licorice. Sappy and dense, With a captivating light touch and a compelling sweet/savory balance to the red fruit and licorice flavors. The very long finish features noble tannins and a building spiciness. A bit hard to taste today owing to a high level of carbon dioxide but looks to be brilliant. (ST)" Review Date: 01/2016

Bid on this magnum of 2014 Pride Mountain "Reserve" Sonoma-Napa Counties Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (96JD, 95RP). Jeb Dunnuck: "Coming both from Sonoma County and Napa Valley, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve offers a deep, concentrated, dense style as well as loads of chocolaty dark fruits, black cherry, graphite, scorched earth, tobacco and background oak. It's a rich, full-bodied beauty that shows the more plush side of the vintage in its fruit and texture, yet offers an incredible core of fruit and mid-palate density that's going to allow it to age beautifully." Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2003 Araujo "Altagracia" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (93RP). Wine Advocate: "Araujo’s second wine, Altagracia, is almost too good to be true. There are 750 cases of the 2003 Altagracia, a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, and 6% Petit Verdot. It is much more fruit-forward than its bigger sibling, but definitely displays the Eisele Vineyard style in its deep purple color, sweet nose of flowers, crushed rocks, blueberries, creme de cassis, and earth, super-sweet tannin, well-integrated acidity, and opulent personality. (RP)" (12/2006)

Wine Advocate: "A consistent mid-ninety point wine, this lavishly-oaked, rich, opulent wine exhibits Caymus' tell-tale dramatic bouquet of blackcurrants, toast, coconuts, and jammy black fruits. Corpulent, chewy, full-bodied flavors possess enough acidity to provide focus and uplift. Like many Caymus Special Selections, this wine oozes with pure Cabernet fruit. (RP) " (08/1994)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 1994 M. Chapoutier "La Mordorée" Côte-Rôtie (93RP). Wine Advocate: "The classic 1994 is one of the stars of the vintage. It offers up a gorgeous, black-raspberry, cassis, olive, and violet-scented nose. Amazingly complex (as are all great Cote Roties), the wine hits the palate with copious amounts of fat, smoky, cassis-like fruit, medium body, sweet tannin, and a long, rich finish. While it is already stunningly aromatic, the flavors have yet to catch up with the wine's super bouquet. " (12/1996)
Starting Bid: $195.00

Rita Hills Pinot Noir, Wine Spectator writes: "Ultraripe, rich and plush, with concentrated, detailed black cherry, wild berry and plummy flavors framed by firm toasty, cedary oak, and finishing with a long, intense, persistent aftertaste offering a wealth of flavors and plenty of rich minerally tannins. *Top Wines of 2004* (JL)" (08/2004)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2018 G.B. Burlotto "Monvigliero" Barolo (98KO, 97JD, 96RP, 96VN, 94JG, 93WE). Kerin O'Keefe: "The 2018 Barolo Monvigliero from Comm. G.B. Burlotto is absolutely stunning, proving that even in a challenging vintage like 2018, co-owner and winemaker Fabio Alessandria can make sublime, age-worthy wines. It’s fragrant, with classic varietal aromas of fragrant blue flower, red berry, camphor, dark spice and underbrush while the smooth, delicious palate features raspberry compote, ripe cherry, and licorice accompanied by polished tannins. Fresh acidity offers youthful tension. " (07/2022)
