1997 Macallan 25 Year Old "Symington's Choice Collection Signatory" 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead #20/7 Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

The Symington’s Choice series is a special line from Signatory Vintage, curated to highlight their very best casks. This exceptional Macallan was distilled on September 25, 1997, and laid down in a single first fill Oloroso sherry hogshead. After more than a quarter century of undisturbed maturation, it was bottled on August 24, 2023, at natural cask strength without chill filtration or added color. Only 343 bottles were drawn from the cask, each offered in limited edition presentation. This bottling captures the rare intersection of iconic distillery pedigree, traditional sherry cask maturation, and Symington’s hand-picked selection process. At 54.9% ABV, it shows the whisky in its purest form, exactly as it came from the wood. Releases like this demonstrate why Symington’s Choice has become one of the most coveted labels among collectors and connoisseurs alike.
