90 points Wine Spectator: "Yogurt and bread dough aromas introduce this rich, muscular '99. It seems unevolved, yet there's fine density and a lovely texture and integration of the elements, so give it a little more time. Firm, fresh finish. Drink now through 2009." (11/04)
