Inverroche "Amber" Gin (750ml)
Review Date: 11-01-2021
A great cocktail gin. On the nose I find the usual juniper notes, a nice herbal bouquet and a hint of honey sweetness. On the palate I find more of that honey sweetness and a slight herbal bitterness that just begs for a dash of St. Germain and tonic. Be sure to reach for this next time you're enjoying an Aviation, French 75 or Tom Collins.

St. George "Baller" Single Malt California Whiskey
Review Date: 11-01-2021
The Baller shows impressive complexity for it's age. At only 3 yrs old this "California take on the Japanese spin on Scotch whiskey" is very nice and dangerously drinkable. The nose shows plum and floral notes with just a hint of smoke. On the palate these notes are joined by malty sweetness and a slight nuttiness. With a hint of plum and a light smokey note on the finish this is a very pleasant take on Scotch whiskey.

Elijah Craig "Toasted Barrel" Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Review Date: 09-23-2020
I am a big fan of toasted barrel whiskies and this one is a great toasted expression. The nose has some marshmallow and chocolate, almost s'more-like, with a bit of honey and caramel. I find s'mores again on the palate along with baking spices and a bit of rye spice on the finish. Very tasty. I am very excited that Heaven Hill has decided to make this a regular release. Enjoy neat or over a big ice cube.
