Hand-selected by Master Distiller Dr. Nick Savage, this incredible young, heavily sherried malt is one of the finest examples of what Scotland's southernmost distillery is capable of producing. Savage joined Bladnoch in 2019 after serving as Master Distiller at The Macallan, where he led the Whisky Mastery team and helped oversee the opening of the distillery's spectacular new facility in 2018. Before that, he worked in cask maturation at Diageo and distilling at William Grant & Sons. Few people in Scotland have a more impressive technical background, and his influence on Bladnoch's revival has been profound. This exceptional seven-year-old spent its entire maturation in Oloroso sherry oak before bottling at a robust 116.4 proof. The result is a wonderfully rich expression emphasizing dark chocolate, roasted nuts and toffee.
