Structured and pulsating with energy, the vibrant, savory palate delivers Marasca cherry, rhubarb, eucalyptus, cake spice and orange zest underpinned by earthy truffle notes that lend depth. Firm, elegant tannins provide support while a salty note lingers on the long finish.(KO)

Montefico is a named vineyard area in the commune of Barbaresco, part of Piedmont’s historic landscape of Nebbiolo vineyards. Roagna’s 2021 “Vigne Vecchie”—Italian for “old vines”—connects that vineyard identity with an old-vine designation. This three-liter presentation holds the equivalent of four standard 750ml bottles.
