Wine Spectator
Cherry and blackberry fruit define this linear, fluid red. There’s also a line of sinewy tannins that leaves its mark on the earthy, salty finish, which shows fine length. Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Best from 2027 through 2035. 5,000 cases made, 2,500 cases imported.

Irrosso is Casanova di Neri’s Toscana IGT red, built around Sangiovese at the family’s Montalcino estate. The producer combines that local variety with smaller amounts of other grapes.
