2026 High West "A Midwinter Nights Dram Act 14" Limited Edition Whiskey Utah (750ml)

High West is celebrating twenty years, and A Midwinter Night's Dram Act 14 gives longtime fans something new to look forward to. This anniversary release adds Amontillado, Oloroso, and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks to the ruby and tawny port barrels that define the series. At its core is Rendezvous Rye, High West's flagship blend of straight rye whiskeys aged four to ten years. The combination of mature rye and port-cask finishing remains the foundation, but expanding the wood selection to include three sherry styles makes this a particularly interesting chapter in the Midwinter story. With five fortified-wine cask types involved, the blending team has considerably more room to work, drawing together different maturation influences around the rye. Bottled at 49.3% ABV, or 98.6 proof, Act 14 marks the milestone with a meaningful change to the whiskey itself. For those who follow this limited series from year to year, the addition of sherry casks is reason enough to make room for a comparison with a favorite earlier Act.
