Reviewed May 2026
Pure and bright, with lovely tension and mineral complexity. Aromas of flint, cream and citrus. Medium-bodied with a soft character, bright acidity and minerality on the palate. Long and engaging. Barrel-fermented with around 20% new oak. Drink now or hold.

Classic Puligny, this wine offers stylish aromas of lemon peel, chalk and flint, with just a hint of spice. There is tension and lively acidity on the palate balanced by a silky density and a lingering finish, really lively and long. The grapes are from village-level climats throughout Puligny. After sorting, the grapes were gently pressed as whole bunches and fermented in barrel (20% new), ageing 12 months with an additional six in tank before bottling.(CC)

The village Puligny comprises all the vineyards but Trézin and Charmes. The nose is less evident at the moment. More in fruit weight and less in flowers but not quite together. It will get there. More impressive on the palate where the refined backbone of Puligny is covered in white fruit with a tingling finish. Drink from 2028-2031. Tasted Oct 2025.

Note: from every lieu-dit in Puligny except for Trézin and Charmes. Moderate wood sets off even more floral-suffused aromas of citrus confit, pear compote and a whiff of spice. There is again very good volume to the delicious medium-bodied flavors that display solid if not exceptional length on the nicely dry, focused and balanced finale.
