Reviewed January 2026The western exposition of the Meix sous le Château vineyard adds a little more ripeness to the nose. There are enough minerals to support the middle, though a mite heavier at the finish. Fair acidity behind but that matches the weight well. Drink from 2028-2032. Tasted Oct 2025.

Burghound
Pungent aromas of firm reduction and wood push the fruit to the background. There is excellent energy to the borderline painfully intense, if not particularly dense, flavors before terminating in a bone-dry and somewhat strict finale. This definitely needs a few years of bottle aging in order to flesh out.
Notes
Bill Nanson Burgundy Report: "From a Clos in the middle of Meursault village. Limestone higher up and with clay below, ‘the most buttery of the domaine.’ Hmm – a more mineral nose, still floral. The gas is still an important component today, but this has such a fine mineral structure and purity – stony wine and chalky in style – though it’s not a stony terroir."(01/2026)
