Note: from 7 different lieux-dits. Reduction holds the upper hand today. There is a lovely texture to the sleek, detailed and vibrant middle weight flavors that possess unusually good density before terminating in a beautifully long, firm and balanced finale. This is not the most elegant example, indeed it's a bit chewy at present, but it is a very serious Meursault villages and possesses first-rate quality for its level. Lemon and lime. Here the fruit is much more demonstrative on the nose, a class above the Chassagne. Excellent tension through the middle of the palate, good weight at the back, a satisfactory Meursault which will blossom with age. Drink from 2028-2032. Tasted Oct 2025.

Bill Nanson Burgundy Report: "From 5 terroirs, including Les Clous, Chaumes de Narvaux, Limozin and others – usually 2-thirds hillside, one-third from the plain. ‘I’ve really tried to make Meursault in this style since 1996, precision and less oak was my starting point.’ Extra width, with fine focus – almost a stony style to these aromas. Hmm – wide, generous again, then even wider. Super scale, shape and slowly fading, subtly spiced, subtly reductive finshing flavour. A hint on the contemplative side, but what a wonderful wine !!"(01/2026)
