Reviewed September 2019Youthful violet color. Pungent black raspberry and cherry liqueur aromas are complemented by suggestions of potpourri, olive and exotic spices. Silky and expansive on the palate, offering spice-tinged black/blue fruit flavors that show wonderful delineation and mineral thrust. Juicy and seamless in texture, finishing with resonating blue fruit, floral character and harmonious, slow-building tannins. (JR)

This features a slightly hefty core of steeped plum and blackberry fruit, gliding along suavely enough, while flashes of juniper, pepper, tobacco and iron fill in throughout. Very tightly focused through the finish, with slightly edgy grip that will need a bit of cellaring to settle in. (JL)

The palate achieves saltiness in its wave of cooked plum fruits, and a good spark of mineral. This is very good, comes with mystery, much to look forward to. It holds very perky juice, and there is a floral note on the finish." (03/2018)
