Founded in Oakland in 2012, Ghost Town Brewing draws on German lager tradition for Verlust. Its name means “loss” in German, while Schwarzbier translates literally as “black beer,” the historic German designation for a dark, bottom-fermented lager. This California-brewed release comes in 16-ounce cans.
