The 2015 Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso di Cialla is intense with a burst of autumnal spices, blood orange and crushed raspberries. This is rich and pliant with a core of tart wild berry fruits and zesty acidity that adds a sensation of unbridled energy while remaining elegant. It finishes remarkably fresh and long, with a saturation of fine tannins and a bitter tinge, yet remains incredibly fresh. The 2015 has a bright future ahead of it. (EG)

The grape's firm tannins receive expert integration which indicates the wine will age remarkably well.

From a warm and generous vintage, this wine balances ripe fruit with the grape's signature savory character. The nose is deep and complex, with aromas of black plum and dark cherry, interwoven with notes of black pepper, leather, and wild herbs. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and muscular, with firm, structured tannins and a vibrant acidic spine that promises a long life ahead. The finish is long and savory, with a distinct mineral edge. A serious, food-friendly red that will reward another 5-10 years of cellaring.
