Packaged in a ribbed glass bottle, this is a delightful wine that offers both elegance and accessibility. The Feudi di San Gregorio 2022 Greco di Tufo Cutizzi is just the ticket for a plate of raw fish with spicy wasabi sauce or tuna tartare. Made only in stainless steel, it has the subtle power and firmness to support generous aromas of pear, quince and honeydew melon. The wine's mineral signature is very developed. An ample 120,000 bottles were made. (ML)

This is fine greco. Salty, almond flecked, quinine bitter and savory, while segueing subtly into the stone fruit realm of appeal without any sense of excess. A quiver of mineral tension and shotgun acidity finds a nervous confluence with a stiff upper lip of pucker. Convincing. Drink or hold. (NG)

The 2022 Greco di Tufo Cutizzi opens with an array of sweet white flowers, chamomile and crushed apples. It balances ripe orchard fruits and green melon with saline-mineral tones and tantalizing acidity. The 2022 finishes with salty tension and nectarine notes. (EG)

Elegant, this fresh and well-knit white shows mouthwatering acidity and a chalky base note, framing flavors of ripe mirabelle plum and nectarine, blanched almond, anise hyssop and preserved lemon. Drink now. 5,000 cases made, 1,000 cases imported. (AN)

A single-vineyard Greco that showcases the grape's saline, mineral core. Sourced from the Cutizzi cru, it’s a step up in complexity and precision.

Notes

Feudi di San Gregorio’s 2022 “Cutizzi” is a refined, single-vineyard expression of Greco di Tufo, sourced from one of the appellation's most prized crus. The nose is bright and complex, with aromas of ripe pear, yellow apple, and citrus zest, layered over a distinct backbone of crushed flint, smoke, and wild chamomile. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and beautifully textured, with a vibrant acidity and savory depth that balances the ripe orchard fruit. The finish is long and persistent, with a characteristic saline minerality and a touch of bitter almond. A sophisticated, terroir-driven Greco with both immediate appeal and aging potential.
