The 2022 Bourgogne Côte d'Or Cuvée des Ormes is very well defined on the nose, with hints of wet pavement filtering through green fruit. The palate is nicely balanced with a citric entry, fine tension and vivid orange zest notes toward the finish. It's the kind of Chardonnay I'd love to drink with some fruits de mer.(NM)

BIll Nanson Burgundy Report: "3-4 parcels of older vines – 40-80 years-old. Lieu-dit en Ormeau… Extra scale of aroma – with a slightly bitter, zesty, citrus first impression. In the mouth, a touch of barrel softens the obviously concentrated flavour – long too – I’d keep them about 2 years for the oak to fade but this is completely delicious wine – a super Bourgogne… First year all barrel fermented for this cuvée…"(01/2024)
