Reviewed June 2025There’s lovely dark fruit with savory aromas of black cherries, blackberries, licorice, violets and blueberry bush. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, a generous mouthfeel and a fruity, earthy finish. Some great tension and power, with underlying finesse. Drink or hold.

Solid colour, almost black at the centre. There is extra concentration here for sure. A striking energy across the palate, summer pudding fruits, blackberry and blackcurrant, but still properly fresh and with excellent length.

A slightly riper nose derives more from the dark side of the fruit spectrum while adding nuances of both earth and violet. The succulent, round and delicious medium weight flavors flash evident power on the markedly bitter pit fruit-inflected finale that is also quite firm if not quite as austere. *Outstanding, Top Value*
