The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Tench Vineyard is a bright, vibrant purple hue in the glass. Here, the vanilla is a bit more obvious than in the Houyi bottlings, but the fruit is also redder-toned and more vibrant, with lovely cherry tones, plus black cherries, plums, cedar and tobacco. Full-bodied and supple, this is packed with potential and framed by softly dusty tannins, then finishes long and seamless on the finish. 97+ (JC)
