Aromas of grilled lemons, nuts, sea water, spices and lanolin. The palate is medium- to full-bodied with a generous texture, bright acidity and good length. Classic in style without being overtly Californian, with just the right amount of oak and no excess weight. Delightful. Drink or hold.

Both racy and flavorful, this Mt Veeder Chardonnay made from heritage vines shows the concentration possible from an older, mountain vineyard with the jazz to keep the palate energized. A mix of crisp apples, pert lemon, and a sprinkle of sea salt kissed through the finish by oak spices.

One of my go-to Chardonnays from Napa. Old vine Chardonnay, some blocks dating back to 1973 (some of the oldest Chardonnay in Napa). Hendry is a beautiful, 4th generation, family estate on the boarder of Carneros and Oak Knoll at the base of Mt. Veeder. The wines are top quality and the values exceptional.
