2024 Domaine Dominique & Janine Crochet "Le Grand Chemarin" Sancerre

Grand Chemarin ranks among the top sites near the village of Bué. Composed entirely of the region’s pure limestone, known as Caillottes, it yields wines of vibrant acidity and striking minerality. The Crochets draw from select old-vine parcels for this cuvée, vinifying entirely in stainless steel to preserve the wine’s freshness and clarity. The nose shows grapefruit, apple blossom, and a touch of sea-spray salinity, while the palate’s lively acidity keeps each sip crisp and inviting.
