Fine mid yellow. There is class and weight on the nose, an intense version of cashmere. Huge volumes on the palate, just the right balance between spice and acidity. Incisive yet chalky, broad but not fat and properly complex, a worthy rendition of Les Preuses. Drink from 2028-2036. Tasted Jun 2024.

Bill Nanson Burgundy Report: "In the high part of Preuses and old vines too. Again 500-litre barrel elevage. A more open nose – wide, airy and ultra inviting. Here the wine is more linear than the other GCs – but still with impressive width. The finish grows and grows – it’s the largest finishing wine here – not the most delicious today but it’s a baby – potentially a great wine too."(01/2025)
