Made with 100% Chardonnay planted on volcanic soils, it boasts elegance and a lovely depth of flavors, including ripe yellow apple, Bartlett pear and Myer lemon punctuated with layers of saline mineral notes. A creamy perlage lends finesse and cushions the crisp acidity and racy tension. (KO)

Terrazze dell’Etna’s 2018 Cuvée Brut is made entirely from Chardonnay at the estate in Randazzo, on Etna’s northwestern side. It uses the traditional method, with the second fermentation taking place in bottle. The Bevilacqua family established the winery in 2008, restoring vineyards, stone terraces and the old palmenti. For Cuvée Brut, the producer suggests shellfish, fish-based first courses and pistachio arancini.
