The Nero d’Avola passito receives its rare distinction because the winemaker dries the grapes before conducting a bone-dry fermentation. This wine presents dense flavors while staying lifted through its notes of figs and tamarind alongside black cherry and cacao and mountain herbs. The wine resembles a Sicilian amaro that expresses itself as dark, haunting, and wild. The bottle serves as the ideal choice for completing a memorable dining experience. I’m obsessed!
