Reviewed May 2025With fruit from La Belle Promenade, Carson Phillips and Lone Feather Vineyard in McMinnville.Aromas of deep Lemon curd, seaspray and dried herbs launch from the wine's aromatics. It sees 11 or so months in barrel, and is made whole cluster pressed with no crushing, and only 10-15% new French oak. Sitting on lees, before being lightly racked and fined. Lush fruits, tropical flavours and rich lemon depth, yet another Oregon Chardonnay building the case for this variety's brilliance here. (CP)

The 2023 Chardonnay Old Eight Cut is immediately appealing, with aromas of ripe apple, flinty minerality, candied lime, and fresh flowers. Medium-bodied, it offers a rounded, silky texture and a clean, lively palate. Sourced entirely from volcanic soils, it delivers freshness and finesse with excellent value. Drink 2025-2035. (AF)
