What a precise balance of racy acidity and floral delicacy this has on the pristine, light-bodied palate. Very focused and pure finish. Drink or hold. Screw cap.

The 2023 Riesling Brauneberger Juffer Kabinett needs a little time to shed its sulfur, but underneath lies fine citrus with supple grapefruit spice. The palate is sweet and light, serene with bright lemon and vividly slender, focusing on a lemon core that runs deep and long.(AK)

91pts Mosel Fine Wines: "AP: 03 24. The Juffer 2023 Riesling Kabinett, as it is referred to on the consumer label, was fermented down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar. It shows a beautifully attractive and fresh nose of minty herbs, greengage, vineyard peach, almond, candied grapefruit, and minty herbs. The wine has juicy and intense ripe yellow fruits on the palate, which add a sense of smoothness and an almost Spätlese-styled presence. However, the finish proves playful and light weighted. The aftertaste is clean and pure. This fruit-driven Kabinett is superb and will need a couple of years to fully deliver. 2031-2043."
