Reviewed January 2025From Pelles and Pellands. Pale lemon colour. The nose is hard to tease out at first. The palate though shows good concentration, with adequate acidity and a feeling of tension. The fruit is just perfectly ripe and extends well at the finish. Rounded in style but racy to finish. Drink from 2027-2031. Tasted Oct 2024.

Bill Nanson Burgundy Report: "Pellans and Pelle Dessus – 50 and 80-year-old vines High-toned fragrance here – that’s a beautiful invitation. A little more direct, melting, mineral-even, but the middle and finishing flavours are wider and just beautiful. The finish has a little more barrel character but you will hardly notice in 12 months. Beautifully fading in the finish – a simply excellent Meursault – I love it!"(09/2024)
