The 2023er Erdener Treppchen Riesling Spätlese was made from fruit picked at 84° Oechsle and was fermented down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar (54 g/l). This hay-colored wine offers a juicy and subtly apricot infused nose of pear puree, caraway, whipped cream, and herbs. The wine is smooth yet precise on the palate and leaves a nicely mouthwatering and delicately creamy feel in the juicy finish. This is a nicely direct expression of Mosel Spätlese. 2028-2038."
